Every person from American AC & Heating who helped us was professional, helpful and courteous. They have great people working for them! The whole experience was painless and positive. Family businesses are the way to go. You can tell the employees all enjoy their job and actually care about what they do. We highly recommend this business, as their customer service is rare these days!

Jonathan has been to this house a number of times and has done a great job every time. He and his coworkers have always been friendly, helpful, informative, and when necessary have given advice to change certain behaviors. Thanks to their advice I’ve had no trouble with my air conditioner. It’s always been cold in the summer and warm in the winter. I would definitely recommend getting the prepaid semi annual maintenance service.

Chris was very friendly and respectful. Chris, and his trainee Chris thoroughly looked through the system and showed me pictures of the area they were working on, as well as the temperatures they took at each of the vents into the rooms. I informed him that I thought during the prior installation that they missed installing a few dampeners in the ducts but that it was in the contract. He looked through the system and sure enough, they were missing. He promptly showed me where in the contract it said that it was in writing but also scheduled the installation crew to come out at their earliest time. I am very happy with their service.

Couldn’t of been happier about the whole experience. Mr. Ramos was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. I’m not an expert on A/C systems by any means so I was very appreciative for Juan’s patience in answering all my questions! All and all, absolutely no complaints whatsoever … my A/C system is clean and is now working better then before and Juan gave me a heads up about a couple things that might need attention down the road. Their membership plan is an absolute steal of a deal … looking forward to scheduling them to come up and clean/tune up my furnace next.

He also found a gas leak at the valve on our water heater. Whoever last serviced it didn’t close it properly! I am very thankful to find that an honest A/C and heating company exists. I had a great experience with everyone from the ladies answering the phone, to the tech Brent. He was very knowledgeable about my dinosaur of a unit, and explained everything thoroughly. He also patiently answered all my questions. I have a contract with American Air that covers 2 maintenance visits per year. They check my entire system, clean up around the equipment, install a new hepa filter and inform me as to how the system is doing and what other steps I might take. Today Danny showed how dusty and dirty the ducts were, so I will have them cleaned out. Yesterday (9/29/2022) Des and Minor arrived at 8:58 am to clean the air/heating ducts, of which I have at least 14. They came in with all their gear that they put on the plastic floor coverings. They were clean and neat and the only way to tell they were here after they left, was the good change in the air coming out of the vents. Great job and done in 3 hours!

Furnace was not working. Was promised a same-day Saturday service. Received texts notification of technician’s identity with a picture and approximate arrival time. Technician arrived five minutes earlier. Jared was very professional and courteous. He explained the problem and made the repair. Highly recommend this company.

I was having problems with my heater. I received a flyer in mail for American heat and air conditioning and they would come out and service my heater for $129.00. I made appointment and he came on time. Looked at my heater and took pictures and then let me know what the problem with my system was. My heater was really old and I basically need an entire new unit put in. Since he diagnosed the problem there was no reason for him to service my system and did not charge me anything. It’s nice when a company has great customer service like the good old days! I will definitely use them in the future when we decide to get a new system.

I love American Air Conditioning and use them yearly for my AC maintenance. Their technicians are always professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. I just signed up for their subscription/ membership plan which makes total sense if you’re a home owner. They come out twice a year to inspect and maintain both the heating and cooling systems. I would hate to see either of them go out especially during the summer and or winter when we need it the most. Josh, the technician, was outstanding; very knowledgeable and gave me great tips and tricks on how to maintain my AC unit and the lifespan on it. He even give he even quoted me on some projects I might have done later this year. I’m glad I was able to touch base on a couple projects I need done around the house since I wasn’t aware this company did more tan just AC work. Highly recommend! I am sure you will be satisfied with the quality of work. Updated: just had my furnace maintained and Christopher did a great job!

I had a Diagnostic Technician come out to check my A/C and Heating system. The technician, JOHNNY VISTA, was FABULOUS. He had a very pleasant attitude, checkout everything and then after explaining everything, and at my request, he had the Engineering Dept. come out to review his work and make suggestions. JIIM SMITH from Engineering was also FABLOUS. He explained everything that needed to be done and gave me options. He also helped me with financing to get the job done. I will NEVER use any other company but American A/C & Heating for my A/C and Heating system needs. THEY ARE THE VERY BEST AND SO ARE THEIR EMPLOYEES. All this was done on a Saturday and work has been scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. THE VERY BEST COMPANY EVER.

He was friendly and professional From what I heard, I was not at home at the time but my daughter ( an adult)told me that the Tech was professional, And showed her all the work he did with pictures, And offered suggestions as to why my house was so cold all the time. I had been going back and forth with them to fix some issues, and to be honest, I was very fed up. But I can say that they came out, finally and fixed the issues, they took a while, but they were fixed.

Then he went to work, cleaning and did maintaining the heating and air conditioning units. He did a great job. Each step of the way, he took photos of all that he did. He took the time to show me the photos and explained it to me. I am not mechanical, but he explain it all so I could understand. But he did not speak down to me. He was very respectful and pleasant to work with. I was so impressed with his work and manner, I signed up for the service club. I appreciated that he wore booties and covered his work area with tarp. He was working on our air conditioning unit and showed us photos of areas that he needed to work on. He had an issue and called his supervisor, Hank, who came out within 10 minutes to assist. To have such good customer service was a welcome surprise. Alex and assistant Jared were great service technicians that acted professional and proved very knowledgeable. Long story short, I had another company/tect that didn’t complete work on my HVAC system. I eventually called American A/C and had them diagnose the issue. They were very fast in responding and arrived on time! Also they not only diagnosed the issue, they were able to tell/show me what happened, what the last person did, and what they needed to do to correct the issue. Great service and company as far as I can tell. I would definitely recommend! Update: completed the final touches on our HVAC. Erik was consistent with what this company has shown in previous contracts: professional, timely, and experienced HVAC technicians. Job took about 30-45 minutes and now we have heat!

I had American AC & Heating come do a tune-up of my AC after a pretty high power bill. Gotta say, the service was white glove! Only lived in this house for a year, but the tech (George) helped resolve a lot of mysteries about the existing system. Highly recommend.

BRENT did a good inspection of the system and found several problem. System is old and suggested replacement. Very expensive proposition. Elected to get it running and address underlying problems later. Service bill was very high! Over $600.00 to replace a simple $20.00 part. I was not happy about that but what are you going to do. Needed it fixed for an afternoon party.

First of all, we have had A/C technicians throughout doing maintenance 2 times a year. While many have indicated what is "potentially" wrong with my air conditioner (brand new in 2014, plus insulation, duct work later on) and talked about the coil. Ismael Vargas, our technician tonight ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING TO HELP. He cleaned out the terrible dirt, flushing out the system near the coil--a first by anyone working our unit. This is fantastic customer service as I didn't even know that this was an issue before. Mr. Vargas is a throwback to hard workers of the past who did their jobs and didn't cut corners or ignored something that we wouldn't know as owners since our unit is on top of the roof. We pay about 28 dollars a month for the maintenance services, so to get this top-notch service was refreshing. Great job and other technicians can learn about real customer service by watching Ismael at work. Thank you.

I was even asked “How can I put a smile on your face?”, which immediately put a smile on my face. I received a text with information and a photo of who was coming out (Extremely helpful) and Danny Padilla, showed up on time and smiling. He was able to figure out the problem and find a few other issues I wasn’t aware of. Because I’d like to have the other issues fixed, they will come back in two days, but he was helpful, explained everything in very simple terms and even was able to fix my “Whirlie-bird” attic fan. This our regular HVAC maintenance company from now on. No need to look any further.! Our HVAC broke down during the hottest week of the year. Having purchased our home 9 months ago, our unit was covered by our homes warranty company. The warranty sent out a different company to fix our unit. The only reason I called Home Warranty company in the first place was because we are covered and I foolishly thought they would use a good contractor- I’ve now learned the hard way that most home warranty companies use the cheapest and most incompetent contractors they can find! The Home Warranty Repair man came out, looked our furnace and AC unit. Was here around 20 minutes max and said “I have 5 other jobs after yours today and I can’t fix this” and he left. Very long story short, I eventually learned that he replaced parts on our unit with incompatible parts causing a short and burning wires. He actually made the problem worse! Eventually home warranty repair man said that our entire HVAC system needed to be replaced. I called American Air Conditioning- who came out right away. The technician, Juan, did a great job of walking us through what the Home Warranty Company repair man did to our unit and what our options were. Juan was able to fix our unit quickly. It cost a small fraction of what the Home Warranty company said I would have to pay out of pocket for what was not covered by our policy to replace our entire unit. I was about to get ripped off for thousands of dollars and Juan did the job quickly for a very fair price! He is a vey nice guy who should be their employee of the month! Our AC unit works fine again and I will never use a different service company.

This was the first time using this Co. after our 5 yr maint. contract with another local Co. expired that we were not happy with . I saw a flyer sent and decided to try . They confirmed appt day b4 , called day of appt to notify on way , showed on time , wore booties , put tarps down inside to change filters in attic , spent over an hour on roof checking /maintaining hvac system on roof , checked ducts, changed filter, showed pictures of all diagnostic performed on our unit as well as answering any questions I had on issues or recommendations . He explained everything before he began working and made sure all of my questions were answered. He told me how my unit worked, and ways to maintain its integrity. He observed covid-19 protocol and wore a mask during my appointment. I needed a check on my AC as it was having issues. I received an appointment 24 hours later which surprised me as we have been having a three digit heat wave. Jared came out and had a mask on and his little shoe booties. He was very pleasant. He checked not only my AC but my heater also. Plus he checked the duct work in the attic!. Our tech Alex Dominguez was excellent. He explained everything, answered all of my questions and was upfront with all cost. He ended up having to order parts to complete the work, but at least got the air running for now. I will post an update with once the parts are receive and all work is completed. (Updated) They received the wrong part and did not come on Friday. Work was rescheduled to Sunday. (Update) Sunday. work was completed today by a different tech Juan Ramos, but our unit started leaking an hour after the tech left. I tried calling the office and they are closed and I cant find a number for anyone to call me back. The number the tech provided on the invoice is also going to voice mail. I will have to turn off the air again until I can get a hold of someone. This has went from a good call, to a bad. I am Very dissatisfied because I can not get a hold of anyone right after work was completed and now I have to turn the ac off again, so my garage does not flood. (Update) Juan Ramos came back today to resolve the problem with my ac unit pouring water out of it. He said they did not blow out the line the either time they came that that was causing the problem. I do not know why this was not don't originally. Assuming I do not have any more issues I am happy with the end result, but I am still unhappy that work was performed over the weekend and when I encountered an issue I could not get a hold of anyone until Monday. I feel this is poor customer care. If this company schedules anything over the weekend, decline or hope you don't have an issue.

I phoned AAC based on mass marketing mailers I periodically receive, but had never used them before today. The business model seems based on customer service and professionalism, but with a noticable push to upsell you. I was grateful that they could come within 36 hours to fix our A/C system, when everyone else was 4 days out or more. Our technician was very nice, very clean, very competent and very professional. His preference was for me to be with him for a thorough explanation of his findings, and I appreciated that too. However part of that was so that I'd be present for the sales pitch. He was able to get our A/C system operating again pretty quickly with a common inexpensive part, but the cost was about double of what I would have spent if I waited another few days for someone else. Still, his professionalism and confidence was reassuring to me that he was going to do a proper job. I think that high cost is why they were available essentially the next day. I'd use them again if I had the disposable money, but with finances being the way they are for most people, it may be worth asking them for their pricing upfront if you have something specific in mind. If you need someone quick and can afford it, they're the ones to call

When I first called about two weeks ago was given a same day appointment for the afternoon. I was at work and arranged to work from home in the afternoon. About 430pm got call the technician was not going to make appointment. A little disappointed but rescheduled anyway. Appointment was confirmed day before and told I would be first stop between 8/11am. Decided to call company about 850am and informed that technician did not start until 9am. I don't like being robbed of my time. American Air should consider appointment time to be the technician's start time. Just a thought. Anyway Technician appeared to be aware of what is allowed in this HOA community. Was polite and patient with my questions. Understood i wanted to get other quotes and did not spend additional time to convince me to make a decision then and there.

We started out with just getting maintenance on our heater. George carefully explain the status of our heater and showed us pictures of the issue he found in our heater. He clearly laid out the options we had given the condition of our heat exchanger. Our heater was at least 18 years old so we were not surprised that it was not in the best of condition. He pointed out what options we had. We decided given the clear information he shared with us and the safety of our home to replace the heater. We did not realized the condition of our heater was as bad as it was. George was very helpful in giving us the information so we could make this important decision which was to replace the heater. George called for Jim Smith to give us an estimate of the heater installation. Jim fully explain his company and what they would do to install the heater and the different options we had for a heater. I was very happy with both George and Jim. The next day Scott the lead installer started installing our new gas heater. He proceed to remove the old furnace and install the new furnace. All though the process if I had a question or concern Scott stopped to answer my question or address all of my concerns. Scott did a wonderful job and I would recommend him for any heater install.

I followed up on a flyer that this company sent out by looking up reviews online. They have a good reputation; after having them out to our house to check on our AC unit, I can see why. Henry (Hank) was very professional and honest about different scenarios for dealing with our aged system. He spent a long time with us discussing options, never pressuring at all. Our dogs even liked him ;). The company has a variety of ways to get your system working as soon as possible. In fact, at every step of the process, I was very pleased with how quickly the company was able to send a service tech out, provide clear options, and conduct the repairs. I'll be sticking with this company in the future. Update... The new system was installed quickly, but after a few days (when the heat outside kicked up) the compressor stopped working. I put a call into the company and their service tech, Alan, identified the problem with the installation quickly and made the fix. The air was up and working within an hour of his arrival. Mistakes sometimes happen; it's nice to know that this company takes care of their mistakes quickly.

American A/C & Heating Senior Tech Johnny Vista was very knowledgeable, professional, as well as patient (took his time answering questions), during today's visit. He took his time to explain what he was going to do, used booties to cover his shoes and even used a company door mat to cover our front porch. He meticulously inspected our forced air unit, cleaned parts, took readings and photographs, and replaced an obviously dirty air filter. When he was done, he cleaned up, including using a hand-held vacuum cleaner to take care of any dust created. One of the things I liked most about Johnny is that he did not push a total replacement forced air unit ("let's first see if we can make this one work optimally") and/or a service contract offered by his company! Prior to leaving, he gave us a full report of what he did today and any options we had. Mr. Vista was a pleasure to deal with today and a credit to his profession and his company!

He let me know he was on his way, right on time. George is the only one who has been nice enough to honor the sign on our door “please do not ring bell, babies sleeping”. He greeted us wearing a mask and wore it through the visit which we appreciate. George was so nice and understanding of our crowded situation during the pandemic. Every technician that has come out for our 6 month maintenance has been friendly, personable, helpful and kind and professional. Really glad they offer a water heater option. The technician did a great job. He installed an emergency alert detector and insulated the corner in the garage where it sits. He also brought us up to code by creating two venting holes for pipes that lead to the outside. We are relieved that we can tick this off our box and don't have to think about replacing a water heater for quite a while.

the young lady on the phone was very nice, i forget her name. she got me an appointment right away. the technicians were actually on time, even a little bit early. George described what they were going to do, and they went ahead and did it. they checked the outside unit and the inside, the cleaned the filters and checked the ducts. they also did a temperature check and ensured everything was running at the optimal level. they did a great job!

Update for 2021. I called American air on a Thursday to see when the soonest available appointment would be for my annual furnace maintenance. They fit me in on a Friday between one and 4 PM. Alex was there by 3 PM and in no time at all he had shown me the condition of my furnace, dusted vacuumed it out, and I’m set for the winter. . Alex was great, efficient, respectful of home and property plus friendly, American AIr called to state Ryan would be at my home at appointed time. 2019....Ryan immediately donned his shoes carpet protectors, found my furnace was on a front deck, took off booties as the deck is not perfect with being exposed to the outside elements. He immediately went to work. He showed me the equipment he was cleaning, taking apart, and inspecting. All was well. He also asked about the water heater, but I had just had service on it Great service, great team.
