We are thrilled with the service that Signature provided us. They installed a new HVAC system when we moved into our home a few years ago, replacing an old system. The service, price, and quality were all excellent. Now that Signature offers plumbing services, they were our first call this week to address multiple plumbing issues that we were experiencing. They scheduled service quickly, and this morning we could not have been more impressed by the service and professionalism from Tim, a Signature plumber. He was courteous, detailed, and efficient. Perfect service and a super nice guy! My wife and I highly recommend Signature for your HVAC and plumbing needs. 5 stars from us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I put a review in from the tech that came to my house to do my bi-annual cleaning and it turned out that it was time to upgrade my two systems. I met with the sales team who walked me through a ton of options with zero pressure to do anything. We decided to go ahead and replace two units. I was out of town traveling and 6 guys showed up to do the install. (only 1 week after i decided to make the purchase)They got started around 9am when all the equipment was delivered. Each guy couldn't have been nicer. My wife and kids all commented on how nice everyone was. It was good to hear since i wasn't home. I did arrive later that night and the team was still here going strong. All stayed until the entire job was completed, talking me through everything that had taken place. They left the house as they found it. If 6 stars was an option, I would give them 6 stars. I highly recommend this service.

We had an issue with our mini splits during the weekend. We called Signature for service and the response time was relatively quick. We were issued a technician within a few hours of contacting them. Garrett our technician was friendly, knowledgeable and fixed the issue. He also made sure to create another service appointment for us as a follow-up. Overall, great service.

We had not one but TWO gas leaks in our pipes leading to the hot water heater and furnace at 2:00am on Christmas Day, believe it or not. After the gas company came, told us that, and shut off the gas, we called a dozen emergency/24 hour HVAC companies for assistance as it was the coldest it had been in forever here. The house promptly got down to 48 degrees with the heat shut off! As soon as they possibly could, Signature HVAC got us out a tech at 11:00am that same morning. Tim was professional, understanding, and empathic to our situation. In less than an hour he had the system repaired, made sure nothing else was leaking, and talked to us about possibly needing more pipe work done which we had already been thinking about. Couldn't have asked for more prompt, courteous, and wonderful service. Signature just got a loyal customer for years to come.

Tate was an incredible sales person. So professional, intelligent, knowledgeable and patient. He covered all of my concerns and helped me find the most cost effective and energy efficient heatpump option. He and his team worked very hard to get me a great financing deal as well that will make the financial hit workable. Tate had the installation team here in 2 days with my new heatpump and whole house dehumidifier in hand. The installers Conor, Nate and Cody couldn’t have been nicer. They were professional, competent, and very considerate of me, my home and my 3 kitties. All in all it was a great experience! I would highly recommend signature!

Everyone has been great. When my AC stopped working on Saturday, they came out the same day and got it back up and running. Because the system was very old and had problems in the past as well, I decided to go ahead and get a new system. Doug spent a lot of time going over my options and helped me pick out a system, and today (3 days later) it was installed. The install guys were also great. They completed the job in one day, were very professional and took the time to show me how everything works and got me set up with an app that controls the new thermostat. All-in-all it has been a great experience.

Brand new AC died suddenly at 6pm on a Sunday. Signature came out the next morning, and diagnosed the problem. When the necessary part was backordered, they set us up with portable units. They secured the part in half the expected time and spent all day making sure the repair was done properly and everything was running smoothly. Highly recommended.

We are scheduled for automatic semi-annual inspections of our geothermal heat pump HVAC system by Signature. The service technician, Rachel Fredricks, was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. She also showed me where quite a bit of mold and other debris had accumulated in the furnace, so I decided to have her installed a new high-intensity UVC light Air Scrubber Unit to correct the issue. I was very happy with the entire experience.

Our 20+year old AC died during the summer, and Signature was able to get it replaced (attic install) in the heat of the summer. The sales person Tate was really down to earth and did not try any sales gimmicks / pressure BS. He really cared about getting us set up properly. The install team was really professional, cared about their work and did a great job even doing the work in the attic summer heat. We ended up getting a very efficient Daikin inverter heat pump. The only criticism I would have is that it is technically not energy star, and I had assumed it was. But some of that is a quirk with how a certain EER is required for the inverter units that rarely run under those conditions. I would just recommend constructively that they do a little more to ensure that customers are able to take advantage of rebates and tax breaks that come with energy star products. But our bills are still lower and the unit runs great, so I am still very happy.

A very pleasant young man and even though he was unable to completely fix the problem he offered suggestions in the next steps to take. My wife complains about a musty smell from the air out of the air vents when the outside is hot and humid. She called Signature HVAC and they sent Casey to do a diagnosis on our heat pump. Casey was friendly, polite, and acted very professionally. He explained to me all the procedures that he performed and showed me the results. The diagnosis was our basement has somewhat high humidity and he proposed a number of options to remediate the problem. Since our system is about 20 years old, I told him that I am considering getting a new system. Casey called the office and made an appointment to have someone come over the next day to look at our house and give us a proposal for a new heat pump system. In general I am very happy with my experience with Signature HAVC.

Marge/Kathleen were quick to send a technician within 1-2 hours of calling them, when our heating stopped working! The tech Saverio was professional, diagnosed the problem quickly about faulty pressure sensors being the culprit, got new parts the same afternoon (in spite of having to drive to the manufacturer's store in KOP) and got the heat working again! Couldn't have hoped for a better experience, really thankful to these guys. The icing on the cake was Sav's manager pointing out that the sensor part might be under warranty and replaced it at no cost to us. They didn't have to look into the warranty etc... that just tells you the core values this organization holds. Glad to be doing business with them. Thank you!

12/16/22 Update I again had the good fortune to have Garrett come out to make a minor adjustment to my humidifier. Garrett is obviously not only committed to doing his best work, but also to his customers. 10/28/22 Update: Today I had the pleasure of meeting Garrett Russell. Garrett was fantastic! He explained everything that he did in understandable terms, and made sure I knew who to get in touch with if there were any more issues with my system. Garrett is not only a great technician, but he also cares about the customers he serves, and is committed to doing a great job for us. 6/17/22 Update: Signature's service continues to be exemplary. Today was no exception. I have recently had issues with my 2+ years-old HVAC system inadequately cooling the 2nd floor of my house. Several technicians have come out to try and resolve the issue, the most recent visit about a week ago by Frontline Manager Bob Seeger. Despite his best efforts, my house's inadequate airflow/ductwork just couldn't be defeated. Knowing that I had family coming to visit in less than a week, that they would be staying on the second floor of the house, and that my options were limited, Bob generously offered to stop by our local Lowe's today, pick up a portable A/C unit, and install it for me. His professionalism, generosity and dedication to customer service go above and beyond. I can't say enough good things about him and his commitment to customer service. This doesn't take away from the dedication that other technicians have shown in the past who have tried to resolve my HVAC issues. I will continue to recommend Signature to anyone who appreciates an HVAC company who is dedicated to customer service. Previous review: I previously had ongoing issues with my HVAC system that was frustrating for both me and Signature. Throughout it all, they were extraordinarily responsive and committed to trying to identify a fix for elusive issues. Their service employees are always polite and informative. I would recommend Signature to anyone looking for an HVAC company who operates with integrity.

Booked signature to come out and quote removal and replacement of my furnace and AC unit. It hadn’t broken down yet, but it was well past it’s useful life. Tate came out and was straight forward with my options. He didn’t read some script and try to upsell constantly. He was honest and open with our discussion and we felt comfortable moving forward with the project. I had originally wanted to up the size of my system but Tate ran the numbers and said I wouldn’t need to. Install day: the crew came out, on time, was professional, polite, and respectful. They walked me through the scope of work and how they would complete it. They were cautious and went out of their way to make sure none of my property was damaged during installation. It was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend signature!

Although I give high marks to Signature’s technicians, I have to say that I’m not 100% pleased with the company itself. Not long after my husband and I purchased our system. It began experiencing problems, the most frequent of which was spontaneously shutting down. After the system was worked on just yesterday, I woke up today to find it completely shut down. Fortunately, the on-call technician, Eric Hansen, did a great job of getting it back up and running quickly. He was friendly, professional and explained everything thoroughly. I’ve gone through over a year of having technicians come out to try to fix different things in an attempt to prevent the problem from occurring. The most common explanation that I get for theses recurring problems is that the system is sophisticated and very sensitive, and as a result, experiences these types of issues. I have to say, although they are dedicated to trying to find the causes of the issues and fix them, I’m definitely tired of having to rearrange my schedule for something that should not be happening. At this point, I feel like I almost have a new system from all the parts that have been replaced, and yet I still don’t have a reliable system. This is not what I expected from a higher-end system. Finally, a big issue with Signature is that they don’t follow up when they say they will, and I consistently have to chase them down to find out the status of individual issues. It’s exhausting. This is something that I think they should really work on. If they did, they would definitely get an additional star or two from me.

Installed heating and air in January 2022. Due to prolonged winter, didn't turn on AC unit until a couple weeks ago. The AC unit didn't work. Called Signature 1st thing in AM, said they would have someone stop by around 3 PM. No one showed and neither did I get a phone call. I waited until 5 PM, then I called. They got a field supv. to come, about 6:30 PM. It has been over a week since that 1st call. When I call the office, the staff is very nice and friendly, but poor in response. I have been told several times someone will call me back, nada. Today when I called, the staff knew who I was, two minutes later I was disconnected. As of this writing, I still don't know when my AC unit will be replaced or repaired. This is an update to my previous 2 star review. I believe in redemption and Signature's performance after my original review was of excellent quality and value. In addition, they explained why the communication was very poor and the reason was very understandable. So, I will call upon them for any of my future needs for AC and heating.

Came out on Tuesday to give an estimate of job to be done. I liked their professional experience and customer service. Friday of same week they came out did the install of new furnace and ducts. Preparation, Follow through, Quality equals very happy customer! We had geothermal installed at our home and from start to finish the job was perfect. There is not one complaint I could find. Honestly, I was shocked how smoothly the installation went. Bob was the first person we dealt with and he was always available to answer our questions, even on Sundays! He returned phone calls in a timely manner and was the only company that we contacted that actually got the contract to us when promised. The next surprise was Bob came out with his lead installer to go through the project to make sure the entire job was planned out so there were no surprises. 3/22/2021 This is an update to a review from a year or so ago (below). Our much-liked tech Bob was given a well-deserved promotion so we have a new Tech, Bradley. I think Signature has some sort of clone thing going (😁) because Bradley is just like Bob - pleasant, agreeable, happy to explain anything. He's very professional and we appreciate that. This was Bradley's 2nd or 3rd visit to us and we feel comfortable and secure with him around. He was was doing the Spring check-up on our A/C unit and came across couple of small parts which if not replaced, could have caused us to loose our coolant. These little parts cost very little and when compared to replacing coolant, it was nothing. I guess we're cynics because we know some HVAC vendors wouldn't have have bothered, would have let us loose coolant then sent a tech to refill it so we'd end up paying for a tech visit and coolant. Not Signature however, they treat their customers honorably. If you're having HVAC problems or need a new system, please call them - you won't regret it. And I can virtually guarantee you'll like and appreciate your tech. Bradley is genuinely a nice man. Before leaving, he actually shifted something into our garage for us (we're old fogies and it would have been a tad difficult), locked the garage back door and hung up the key where it belongs. 6 years ago we hired Signature to install a complete new HVAC system. We've never looked back; everything was perfect from Day 1. And Bob has been taking care of us almost exclusively since. He knows our system well, he knows us of course, and he even knows and remembers our dog who loves him! So many companies don't realize the importance of true customer service, but Signature does. Bob is the Bomb! And in the BEST way. He comes in, friendly and polite, shares a few chuckles and gets to work. He's quick, efficient, knowledgeable and reassuring. We can relax, knowing that we have a technician who is highly competent and safe to be in our home. He has become a friend and will always be welcome.

We reached out to SIGNATURE HVAC to evaluate our geothermal units prior to renewing our service agreement with the company who installed them several years ago. We were generally pleased with the installing company, however there were a couple nagging problems that were not being resolved. SIGNATURE scheduled JOHN LONG to come out and take a look. John arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issues and was able to explain to me why I was seeing the problems and detailed what would be needed to restore the units to new condition. I wish the installing company new as much about our Climate Master Geothermal units as John Long. John’s explanation made good sense and accurately supported the work he was suggesting. One repair did require a return visit due to the length of time needed for the replacement of a non-stocked part. This return appointment was easily scheduled, took exactly as long and cost exactly as estimated. All units are now working perfectly. We were with our previous HVAC company for 5 years, always maintaining service agreements on all of our major systems. We have now switched to Signature based on our experiences with John Long.

Danny was very helpful during our appointment. He was professional, prompt and very detailed in his diagnostic of our heat pump. He was very patient with me, answered all of my questions and made sure I understood what was wrong with our equipment. He explained all of the options that I had. Signature was able to get me an appointment very quickly at the last minute to help us out on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. We were left during a holiday weekend heatwave without a working air conditioner. Unfortunately, we were left with the option of making a very expense repair to our heat pump or to replace the outside unit. Danny very quickly set up an appointment for the sales team to come to my house that day to give me some advice and quotes for the necessary replacement of the outside unit. They were able to replace the unit within 5 days. Although it was a costly and unfortunate situation for me to have to replace part of my heat pump, Danny and the Signature HVAC Team made me feel very comfortable and knowledgeable about the decisions I was making. Wow! I'm super impressed with the service I received from Signature HVAC. My HCAV system started getting a little noisy, and I was very nervous. Thankfully, Signature HVAC scheduled something that same day, which gave me piece of mind. Bob, my technician, was punctual and professional. He introduced himself before he came in, and made me feel comfortable immediately. Bob is obviously well-versed in his craft, and took a look at my system. He offered me a series of solutions, and was helpful in setting up my next appointment. He made me feel informed and involved in the entire process. I am most likely going to need to replace my unit and, because of Bob, I will most likely give Signature HVAC the business. Bob also had a trainee, Sev, with him who had the same professional manner, and assisted with the work. Even though they give a window of time for arrival, they actually arrive early, never late! They wear booties (and now masks, too, of course). Very responsive technician on services call even we were not their customers. We were able to speak with the comfort advisor on the same day we had a furnace failure. The comfort advisor is very knowledgable and professional. We were able to have the new furnace installed the very next day which was one day before winter storm hitting us. We like the Daikin product line the comfort advisor recommended so far and 30% more energy efficient than our previous model. Signature is highly recommended.

TL;DR: We are very happy with Signature, the HVAC/Furnace and hot water heater we purchased, and we are already seeing efficiency gains, but Josh Nice (our sales rep) told us one thing and delivered another - luckily everyone else stepped up and made it right. If you want more details: My experience with Signature HVAC was full of ups and downs. At the end of May, our older exterior AC unit reached the end of its life and, after talking to my previous service company and getting a few estimates, I reached out to Signature. Here comes the bad...Josh Nice was the salesmen that came out to our property and gave us the "rundown," promising Signature is not a company based on selling units, but focused on performance. Josh sold us a package that included a new Daikin Heat Pump and Furnace as well as a water heater. Josh told us we'd be getting new all new components (piping, communication boards, dampers), as well as sensors that would help average out temperatures throughout our house. After doing some research on Signature and Daikin, and a little bit of faith in humanity, we jumped in. Excited, Josh said they were going to squeeze us in and get our install done quickly, and with rising temps it seemed perfect. The installers did an amazing job, but we got no new dampers or averaging sensors as Josh had promised. Josh had also promised he would be here the day of the install and never showed up, didn’t call to follow up, or respond to the many messages left on his phone or at his office. The rest of the office was incredibly responsive when we turned to them for help. Turns out the paper we signed said we would be getting new dampers, but Josh never put it in the order and the room averaging sensors for my system would not be available until the end of the year at the earliest. He is the only reason we weren’t completely satisfied with our purchase and the reason I can only give 4 stars. Now the good... people like Brad (Operations Manager) and the install team (we had the two Ed's and two other awesome guys do the water heater) kept this whole thing together. When Josh did not respond to any of my calls, Brad stepped in and was able to help take care of my issues with the dampers, sensors, and a few other things. Had it not been for him, I would have told them to take this system out and gone with another company. I also have to commend the install team, led by Ed. The level of professionalism, attention to detail, and customer focus is bar none compared to any other HVAC company we have had to deal with. Ed had to come back several times to put the new dampers in and was beyond fantastic. Highly recommend him and my hope is he continues to help service our unit.

After the work was complete he made recommendations for overall system enhancements that we should consider. Signature really has top-notch people working for them, and I continue to be extremely happy that we switched over to them several years ago.

It has been about 3 months since they replaced our heating and A/C units. So, I feel comfortable enough to write this review. WHY SIGNATURE HVAC: We gave them a call after reading reviews on the internet. COMMUNICATION: They were very responsive to the call that was made for initial inquiry (owner himself responded to the call within 2 hours). Now that may have been because it was during the off-peak season. PRICING: Bill was patient with the price and package negotiations. We were happy with the negotiated price (we had 2 additional estimates from other HVAC companies). INITIAL SURVEY: Joe promptly showed up and did a comprehensive evaluation of the systems. Joe and Bill showed us additional problems from the past because of improper duct work. INSTALLATION & REPAIR OF DUCT WORK: They were done promptly on the agreed upon date and time. The employees were polite, professional and ensured that the place clean after the work was done. SUMMARY: We are very satisfied with them. If we had to go back and do it again we would go with Signature HVAC.

I had slightly low refrigerant but air temperatures were fine and he recommended waiting until next year to see if it got worse before charging it. My AC unit is 11 years old and it may be from technicians constantly connecting their gauges over time.

Found my AC compressor not working in the afternoon of 6/17/20 around 2PM. Called Signature HVAC in West Chester, PA and they were able to get me on the schedule for 6/17/20 at 4PM. They asked for the make and model of the compressor so they could come prepared with parts if needed. The crew came wearing foot coverings and mask's for COVID 19 precautions. The crew quickly diagnosed the issue, which was a short in one of the wires which is concealed by drywall, and ran a temporary line until I can have someone open the drywall to run a new line. I can't stress enough how courteous, professional and knowledgeable both Ed and Bill were. They both were truly concerned about getting us back up and running due to the pending Heatwave. If there was a higher rating, I would give it. I was blown away by their professionalism. My back story: I had an awful experience with a home warranty subcontractor. He gave me a story about having to clean the whole central AC unit, the warranty wouldn't cover the maintenance, and the cost would be $600. On top of that, he was rude, dismissive, and condescending. When Scott and his partner (I cannot recall his name, unfortunately) arrived, I was greeted warmly. They walked me through their whole diagnostic process. I relayed my bad experience to them, and they explained how the subcontractor's diagnosis was completely bogus. The home warranty guy talked about a 3-4 hour cleaning job, and Signature was finished in 20 minutes. All I needed was refrigerant and a new capacitor. It was $350 versus $600 that would've solved nothing. These guys know how to go above and beyond too. I originally purchased a coupon on Angie's List for a $20 diagnosis and set my appointment for two days from then. Signature called the next day to tell me they didn't cover my area. Angie's List reimbursed me for the coupon, but surprisingly, Signature showed up for the appointment anyway. Scott explained that the new guy made a mistake in canceling the appointment. Since I'd been refunded the coupon, they waived the diagnostic fee altogether. It was an honest mistake - I wasn't even upset about it - but they still made up for it. That says a lot about a company.

This was my second interaction with Signature. Had it not been for the high degree of professionalism, I probably would have selected any of the highly rated AC/heating companies listed on Angie's. Unfortunately, our HVAC unit was spewing out mild air for the past several months. Once we hit a spell of cold days & nights, my wife and I decided it was time to get a new system - as Signature and other companies advised in the past. We called Signature to re-evaluate our current system and options. The representative - Brad Gess - came to our home on a Saturday. He was very personable and obviously well-versed on the equipment. He also added other points, such as the training and certification all Signature installers and sales reps had to complete each year so that their installations are done correctly...and they understand the current technology and techniques. We decided on an option within my budget ($8000). However, I will say that other companies offered systems that had better "stats" at a lower cost. Some offered similar solutions for $1000-$2000 less than Signature, but with better "numbers" (BTU, SEER, etc.). But because I liked the interaction with Signature, I was very comfortable with their solution and price, even if it was higher than others! They have so many payment options that made this a painless purchase. When I asked how soon they could perform the installation, Brad said they could complete everything on Monday! As promised, the installers arrived at 7am, ready to go! Both were very friendly and respectable. They introduced themselves, and gave me a summary of what they were going to do. As they made their way through my home, they made sure to close the doors behind them, move things in/out carefully, and didn't track dirt through our living room and kitchen. At one point, they were waiting for the new system to arrive. I wouldn't have minded if they stayed in the basement. However, they went outside and waited in their truck. I thought that was a respectable thing to do! They completed the installation a lot sooner than expected. By 3pm, they were showing my wife & I how to program the system, how the basement unit worked, as well as how & when we could perform maintenance items. Great company, great team, and would not hesitate to refer them or use them again! Now I know why they're highly rated on Angie's List!

Signature technician Bob visited yesterday, thoroughly checked my heating and air conditioning system serviced it and added some refrigerant to the system as we agreed. We also needed Bob to take a look at a non-functioning vent and he solved the problem right away; I’ve had had other service companies look at the same vent and none of them were able to identify and fix the issue. Signature installed a heater (natural gas) and air conditioner about 15 months ago. The techs were polite, organized, professional, and cleaned up when they finished. By far, the best experience I've received from about 5 different HVAC companies since moving here (same house) over 40 years ago. Plus they had the lowest price. My heater and air conditioner are under warranty (parts & labor) for 12 YEARS. Great system.
