ServiceOne did excellent work. John, one of their sales engineers, worked with me closely over three visits to understand my business needs and budget. I picked an option that met my needs from multiple proposals. The group of guys that did the work were very polite. They showed up on time. They we're careful with the equipment. The install looks very sharp/professional—zip tied wires, made a plate for the thermostat, unit heater hangs nice and square... looks very "neat", which I appreciate and for which I am willing to pay extra. They ran into some blockers and required extra parts, but they persisted and got the job done the same day. I called MUD and had the gas turned on the day after the install. I called ServiceOne and the installers were back out to check that everything worked as expected within an hour. Also, they showed me how to use the thermostat and talked about how the system was setup. Overall this level of attention to detail, timeliness, and quality work is uncommon. That's why I keep voting for ServiceOne with my dollars!

The service tech, Jesse, is always friendly. His work is a 5 star rating. He makes sure any mess is cleared when leaving. The reason for the three star rating is - I am still waiting for a call from Jesse’s supervisor regarding the last service from more than 2 weeks ago.

I have used Service One for years, have an Extended Warranty. All of their work is thorough and they fix exactly what is needed. I would highly recommend them for your service needs. Their sales staff is always easy to work with. The only issue I have had is they are not up on some of the IT Technologies found in the Internet of Things, to help install products that increase the Smart Home tech. Had several products that the technology was beyond the folks selling and installing it, or completely missed in the conversation.

I want to give a shout out and thank Service One technicians for coming out to take care of a water leak in the basement main water line and washer appliance. Brian the plumber knew exactly what the issue was and fixed it right away after getting supply. Austin the appliance technician did an amazing job fixing and replacing the hot/cold water value in my washing machine. He went above and beyond. He also replaced the rubber gasket in my front load washing machine that has black molding. I tried to clean it out but couldn’t get rid of it. I am very pleased by the work and result that was provided. Thank you to Service One management for sending these two highly skilled technicians.

We had a water pipe break today. Not only was ServiceOne able to get a plumber out here same day, Mike was professional and courteous and knew exactly what needed to be done. He also got us connected with a damage repair company who also was able to get out here today. The plumbing repair was a bit challenging since the break was inside a wall cavity, but Mike took good care of us and got our water back on.

Austin contacted us to see if we would agree to move the scheduled appointment ahead one day. Austin texted when enroute, arrived and diagnosed the problem within minutes, and determined that the replacement circuit board was not available on his truck. One remained in stock at the home office, and Austin said he could go retrieve it and be back within 30 minutes. He was. 40 minutes later the replacement circuit board was installed and the dryer was tested and operating. Austin is a top-notch professional technician, and we are thankful for his timely and polite service.

The blower motor in my furnace went out last week. I called and got an appointment two days later. The technician was great, diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes. Then told me it could be a couple days to get the 1 HP blower motor since they didn’t have one in the truck. They have universal motors all the way up to 3/4 HP in the truck and told me that there are not many houses with 1 HP motors in them. So it is not like they ran out of them, the company does not stock them. I was without A/C for over a week in 90 and 100 degree days. I have children, my step mother lives with me, and not to mention the animals. I had to go buy window air conditioning units for 4 bedrooms. I pay a monthly fee and a service fee for them to come out. What should have been a $80.25 call ended up costing me close to $1000 in air conditioning units on top of the service call fee. The technicians are fantastic, the company should know what equipment they need to service and make sure they have the one of a kind items on hand in case.

Also spotted a part on our furnace humidifier that needed replacement. I would recommend Service One and get their gold plan. It is well worth it. Alan deserves 5 out of 5 stars. Lakeshore resident.

ServiceOne took good care of us in the COLD month of February. They installed a new air conditioning unit due to the phase out of R-22 refrigerant. They also brought to our attention of a situation with our furnace. We opt to buy a new one. So that would leave us without heat while we were waiting for the delivery of it. As dependable as they are, we were provided with floor heaters. Then we received a call from them shortly that a new furnace was available for installation. The following day the installation process began. Thank you Tyler, Kyle...for your assistance and care.

Complete break down and cost of labor, parts and installation on a new unit or repair of my present unit. No pressure just professional advice. We've utilized service 1 since purchasing our home 5 years ago. They've saved us at least a thousand dollars in repairs and replacements. If you own an older home with older appliances I highly recommend service 1. Now they work with NFM for replacements so quality concern is non-issue. We'll have service 1 for many more years or until all our appliances and HVAC systems are new!

I was able to get service on the coldest day of the winter, on a day with a long line of people needing heater repair, with the repair people working literally all day, on New Year's Day. No other companies could help us on that day. Our repair person was working all night and finished up at our house at midnight. I don't think we were the last people on his list. Also, he did not talk down to me, like so many repair men do. I am VERY happy with the service.

A young man came to clean our furniture and his name is Israel. He vacuumed The blower unit which, to my recollection has never been done before. We have had technicians come about every year to check over our furnace for the winter. Israel was the only one who took time to actually clean the blower unit. He said it should have been done before. To my recollection it has never been done before. Next time we have need of a technician I certainly want Israel to come to our home. He’s excellent and very knowledgeable . He even advise me on what kind of filter we should buy. Other technicians said it really doesn’t make a difference. He said it definitely does make a difference on what we buy. Keep this young man. He’s very good !!!

I went to service one for a second opinion since the other company was trying to sell me a new ac unit. They sent Israel out everytime and he did a great job. We had a bad compressor had to wait 3 wks for parts then got the compressor capacitor dryer and contact switch replaced along with evac and refilling the freon. I had him come out two days later for a leak a hose was clogged above a coil now everything is working fine. My unit is only 12 years old and has the new freon so I didn't really want to replace it yet.

The technician came out. He told me all costs would be out of pocket even though I have a warranty. I was quite upset so I called the office and was told that's not correct. He was polite, did his job. I had many other services after that, all warranty covered. I switched over to the monthly service plan which does not replace your appliances, but covers your ice maker, which the warranty does not. It's not hidden in the fine print. It's very clearly written that it's not covered. Over the number of years that I rented and owned homes, I always had the monthly service plan until I purchased appliances from Habitat for Humanity ReStore. I went to warranty then because I wanted to be sure they were covered. Every single time, everything was covered. The deductible was $75 at that time for the warranty. It was $30+ on the service plan for a service call. People always say why do you pay for a service plan on your appliances when it's the landlord's responsibility to repair them. The answer is the landlord could take weeks to repair or replace my appliances. Service One would be there in 24 to 48 hours at the most. I have no problem paying for the service call because I could take it off my rent. It was an agreement I had with every landlord. It saved them hours of time and expense. After I left the homes each of the landlords continued the program. UPDATE:. The entire time we owned our home in Omaha Nebraska we had Service One. Whenever I had a problem I had someone to call who was always there for me. Not just a phone number, a person who knew my name. We have since moved to Albuquerque New Mexico and I wish service one was available here.

2/17/2022 Alan did a thorough job cleaning and servicing my furnace. We we went over questions I had and he showed me how to change the humidifier filter. I was very impressed with his thoroughness and the way he explained things in a way I could understand. Alan D was very thorough in checking my air conditioning and heat pump. He answered all of my questions and explained about the humidifier, marking it to make remembering which setting is for heat and which is for cool. He explained the check up sheet to me and talked to me about keeping the heat pump clean from cottonwood cotton. I was familiar with some of the information but he did not make me feel stupid as he explained things. I was very impressed. 3/23/21 There were two technicians today, Alan and a woman whose name I’ve forgotten. Both were very knowledgeable and answered my questions. I was impressed with both in their knowledge and the work they performed on my furnace. I had a number of questions because my this is a relatively new furnace and very different than what we had before. I really appreciated the information.

During the very cold weather recently my furnace was really struggling to keep up, it was set between 66-68 and I would wake up in the morning an my house was around 57 degrees. Today, November 23rd, woke up to the fact my furnace is not working. I'm leaving town for 5 days over holidays, and was eager/desperate to have problem fixed. Rita, a super nice lady at the company, squeezed me in for the same day. Larry, one extremely knowledgable and confident gentleman, fixed the problem within 30 minutes or so. Although he was working late after who knows how many appointments, he was patient, determined, and super skilled. My furnace is working again, and I am more than thankful for the service this company provides. Highly recommended!

Most of the time good service. But I needed the thermistor on my dryer replaced and the Tech told me the part was not manufactured anymore. So I was out 80$ and instead of full replacement i was granted a 400$ credit at NFM towards a dryer. Instead I called another appliance repair company and they found the part immediately and repaired my dryer within a couple of days at a cost of 302$. Disappointed

Our AC was not running properly. It was blowing out warm air. I called once in the beginning of April, they fixed the problem but then noticed a couple weeks after they left it wasn't running properly again - still blowing out warm air. The servicemen were very nice and informative. First time they were out there was 2 guys (Mike and Ala), Mike was training and doing all the work so he could learn. Second time Alan came out to fix the AC again. He noticed there was a wire that wasn't connected right which is why the air was warm. He apologized that it was missed and said he let Mike know so he didnt miss it. Definitely will have service one back out! Great service for sure!

Mike measured the furnace and explained to me how someone would add a duct so that heat from the new unit would enter the utility room as it did in the old unit. Mike also explained that the new filter I bought for the old unit did not fit. Mike also set my new thermostat to manual which I wanted when it was installed but wasn’t so I had serious problems New Years Day when the emergency line of Service One was not functioning. Mike wa terrific and solved the problems that had caused me considerable anxiety.

We had a new ac/furnace/humidifier installed 2 years ago. The humidifier ran continuously no matter if the ac/furnace was on or not. We called for service and was told there would be a charge because it was existing equipment. Alan came out and remembered us from 2 years ago and that Service One was the original installer. The unit was still under warranty and is getting replaced at no charge because of that. I have had other techs out for other reasons and asked them to look at it and they wouldn’t with another service call even though they were already here. Alan informed me that they should have taken care of this when they were here. I only want Alan to do any further work at my house because he really looks out for the customer.

Air Conditioner went out at a poor time, as is usually the case. Service One exceeded our expectations!!!. Same day appt was great. Our 22 year old system needed replaced. By the end of the day, all options were given to us and by the end of the week our new system installed. No pressure and no hassle. I don’t normally write reviews, but I needed to. I am happy with the work of the HVAC personnel. I did have issues with the the office not calling me when they decided to cancel due to weather. Of which, I stayed at the house waiting for them until after the service call time I scheduled. I get weather is uncontrollable, but on the day they canceled morning service due to weather before 8 o’clock the rain had already stopped for about an hour and didn’t start again until 3 pm. Called the office at 1 pm and said they had called and canceled all morning appointments. I had to inform them they had not called me. I was not happy at this point they told me I would be next. A few hours later at 3 pm they called and canceled (3rd time). Again I get weather was an issue but dilute to the lack of communication I wasted a third day off with no service call. When they called me I told them I need to be first in line! I was called at roughly 7:45 am, I was already up and ready to go. They showed up and got the work done. All I ask is communicate with the customer and after rescheduling twice put that customer first no matter what because our time is important too! I will say the service people do excellent work and explain problems when they need to fix.

We replaced our AC unit, humidifier and thermostat that were all original to our 20+ year old home. From the initial evaluation thru install, all of the Service One representatives were professional, knowledgeable and punctual. Our evaluation was done by a season veteran in HVAC who properly matched our new equipment with our existing mechanical system, without trying to up-sell us. The installation team walked us thru everything they needed to do, explained in detail the periodic maintenance procedures, showed us how to operate the new thermostat and thoroughly cleaned up their work area when done. It was all a great experience. We have had a Service One home warranty for many years .... wouldn’t own a home without it!!

We had a company come out and install a central air unit, and furnace in 2016. I called the installing company and told them that the air didn't seem to cool down the rooms at the back end of the house. The installer did some wrapping of some duct work, and said this is the biggest home unit they have, and so we got, what we got, for cooling in those far away rooms. I figured that the same must apply to the heat, so I haven't said much to the Service One techs when they come to service the furnace yearly. This time, the Service One tech asked me how the heat was working. I advised him that it could be better. He advised me that the furnace is a 2 stage and is currently set up in single stage. He fixed the furnace to where it is now using both stages. It has much more air pumping through it, and a lot more heat. Before it was luck warm air coming out of the vents. We would have to use the fireplace to take the chill off in the house, and use heaters in the bathrooms before showers. Now it seems to keep up, and even shuts down when it gets up to temperature. Before it run almost constantly all winter. This Service One tech did an awesome job of checking the furnace and pointing out a potential problem. Wish we would have gotten this tech back in 2017 on the first anual check of the furnace, and we wouldn't have had to suffer the inconvenience of a sub par unit, which is now an awesome unit, now that it runs up to its potential. I forget the techs name, but the company should look it up and make sure he gets this message about how happy we are with his service call.

Alan was friendly, professional and thorough with my furnace, ran quieter after maintenance. This was a yearly inspection included in my service plan. However, Didn't receive a survey request from the guy who repaired my dryer (replaced thermal switch/fuze) a few days earlier and told me the main problem was my dryer vent was clogged causing the dryer to overheat, but that Service One doesn't do vent cleaning and recommended that I get it cleaned or my dryer would continue to overheat. I got it cleaned for $180! And it took them about 15 minutes from start to finish. Not that hard Service One!

Alan deserves more than 5 stars!!!! He is awesome. My furnace went out on the absolute coldest day of the year. My daughter was home with the flu and it was 50 degrees in the house when I woke up. I called ServiceOne at 7:00am and Rita was kind enough to get me taken care of first thing that morning. Alan showed up at 9ish and worked earnestly until he figured out my thermostat was shot. A week later, Alan came back to install the thermostat and was here for a few hours. He did not rush and took the time to make sure the job was done correctly. He asked me how I would like the thermostat programmed and we went through the settings until all my temperature preferences were saved. Great customer service and technical expertise.

I am always impressed with Service One - their professionals and business model. Ryan was no exception. My most recent situation involved the furnace breaking down when I was out of town during the holidays - my house sitter called me late in the day with this news. The Service One staff handled this over the phone and had someone at my house within a few hours. Parts were needed (with temporary heat installed) and arrived by nine the next morning. Ryan came by 230 and in an hour all was repaired. They even suggested included my previously scheduled routine maintenance while working to prevent an extra charge. We experienced a failure of our air conditioning system as the hottest weather of the year descended upon us. Our service call was prompt and confirmed the unit would require replacement. We met with our Comfort Advisor, John, late on Friday afternoon and purchased the replacement a/c unit. The team that schedules the installs found a way to accommodate a quicker installation than the 11 days quoted which was a huge relief due to a serious medical condition in our household that would have been impacted by prolonged heat and humidity. In the meantime a portable a/c unit was delivered Monday morning so we could have a reasonably comfortable bedroom until the install date. The unit was free-of-charge to use and was greatly appreciated. Our installation team arrived on time, was courteous and professional and completed the job in less time than expected. Our furnace (and probably a/c) is 19 years old. The service to these appliances every year has been helpful to our bottom line. We know it's time to replace them & will go through ServiceOne to have this done. The latest tech to our house was Jason & he was phenomenal! He replaced the blower motor, assured us that there is no carbon monoxide danger & even showed me how to work the humidifier. He recommended a fix to the humidifier but after talking with us about the savings that would come from replacement, agreed the fix could wait for that. Alan originally came to service our heater for the year. While doing the service he found a leak on a drain pipe for the heater. A high efficiency heater will cause condensation withing the unit and the drain had a slight leak. Alan ordered the part and put the new one on but the design was a little different from the original and it caused a vibration and he had to make a return trip to replace it again. He was always courteous and respectful. I highly recommend him to service you HVAC system.

This rating is for the work performed by Alan D at Service One. I have been fortunate enough to have Alan D as a technician to troubleshoot several of my A/C issues. He always performs a thorough inspection of my equipment, inside and outside of the house. If there is an issue, he finds it and fixes it the first time. He always provides a detailed explanation of the problem and fix. He is always pleasant. I am always thankful when Alan D is the technician that is sent to repair my A/C issues. He is great representative of Service One.

Alan came to inspect our furnace during an annual maintenance appointment. He found some potential issues with our 19 year old furnace and told us we will need to replace the furnace. Although this is not great news, he told us about the dangers of not getting the issue fixed. We appreciate his help and honest opinion regarding replacing the old equipment.

I just had my annual furnace check. The technician was Alan D. He performed an absolutely thorough check of my system to include a check for Carbon Dioxide emissions. All was found to be in good order. He cleaned all areas which were dirty including areas of small amounts of rust. He insured me my furnace was in good order and will perform well throughout the coming colder temperatures. Alan was friendly, courteous and presented a professional appearance. Super job!

They do a great job when they come out. However, getting a technician out is a pain. We have the gold plan with plumbing added and so far both times we had to get someone out it’s been days out. Just recently I called this morning (Tuesday as soon as they opened) for an AC tech to come out and the soonest someone could come out is Friday with an “open” timeframe appointment. Kind of a pain when you pay a monthly fee. Unfortunately we have a vacation coming up that’s going to have to get pushed a day because they techs are four days out. I know it’s a busy time of year, but four days? I wasn’t expecting today, or even tomorrow. Four days??

We've only had to call them out twice for appliance fixes and they came out within a day or two of making the appointment and diagnosed the problem immediately. For my husband and I, it is absolutely worth the annual fee and $80/visit. Gary Y was a very cheerful, pleasant technician who went above and beyond to get us the parts for our oven same day.

ServiceOne is a great business. This year we've really had a flurry of appliance issues, but the representatives are honest, respectful, and always willing to explain what they are doing and why. This particular time, there was a short in our thermostat which kept triggering the fuse in the furnace (no heat). We've also had dishwasher and washing machine issues. Always prompt and willing to go the extra mile. Our washing machine is in need of a $400+ touch board to fix its issues. Happy to have these folks behind us helping us get it done.
