AC unit in the backyard went out called him and got an appointment for the same day. He actually came earlier then expected which was great. When I asked questions he explained what the part did and why its important in a way as someone who isn't in this line of work would understand which helped me understand. Pricing was fair for the parts and labor as his doing nearly and I actually think ALL the work by himself, which is insane but props to him! My AC unit WILL have to be replaced just can't do it right now cause I need to save up for it, but I will definitely be going through Chris for when I have the time and money to replace it. Our thermostat kept reporting to check the furnace. We had replaced the filter and it still kept alerting, so we contacted Keats and Chris came out to diagnose the issue. He quickly wired the thermostat and inspected the furnace. We found the motor was an issue and would need to be replaced, we decided to replace the furnace instead, and Chris replaced the unit the same day. He explained all of the issues and our options and was very professional. We will only be using Keats in the future!

Jennifer & Chris are SUPER responsive and work hard to meet the needs of their customers. We've used Keats for a couple of years for routine system checks and maintenance. Chris recommends what's needed to keep the system in optimal shape without up-selling. Recently we decided that a new system was required for our home. Keats recommended the right sized system and a fair price AND installed the system with a few days. Chris worked well into the evening to ensure the new system was installed and optimized. He left the work area cleaner that when he started! I highly recommend this small, locally owned HVAC company. If there was 6 stars they'd deserve them!

I had my AC replaced on the hottest day of the year. My AC broke down late in the afternoon, he was able to source a new AC and had it completely installed within 3 hours. After the installation he has checked back with us a few times to ensure that it was working properly and that we were completely happy with the new AC. Chris is awesome with pets. He didn't move into the house until our 90lb baby was comfortable with him being in the house but also he is very professional , timely , tells you exactly what needs to be done and will tell you ahead of time around what the price will be . He installed a new air conditioner for us and had it installed in no time with no mess left behind ( couldn't even tell he was in the basement ). I highly recommend this business. We actually had a different company come out the day before. We did not trust the tech so called Keats for another opinion. Good thing we did. The other company tried to hard sell a new furnace and said the expensive part was not under warranty. Keats was trustworthy. We ended up spending a small fraction of the amount. Keats Heating and Cooling is BY FAR the BEST all around company I have dealt with in a long time! I am never one to leave much online, but this is definitely worth making an exception for. We had a different company come out to tell us what was wrong with our air conditioning unit, charged us a bunch of money, and did not fix anything. I wanted a second opinion and better customer service. Keats came within minutes of me calling them. They were extremely kind, considerate, very punctual, and gave us what we needed instead of up-selling us for something we did not. He looked at the forecast before looking at his schedule book and made a point to have a new unit installed before the heat came on the hottest day of the upcoming week. We are so thankful for Keats!

I recently used Keats Heating and Cooling with My A/C unit. We had absolutely no running A/C and we were calling seems like dozens of other Heating and Cooling business. We kept getting the same answer "we can be out in two or three days"! I have 4 children one 8 months old, this was not an option. Finally found Keats Heating and Cooling. Furnace stopped working Sunday night. Was referred to Keats. Called that evening and had a service call made for the next morning. I was so happy to get introduced to Keats Heating and Cooling. My neighbor recommended them last year so I called to have my air unit serviced. I could not be more impressed with the level of service, speed and technical experience. I recently had an issue with my air unit and Keats was there on time and quickly assessed the problem, taught me a few things about keeping things in good order. I was also impressed with how fairly they price their services. I am saving to upgrade to new furnace and air in the future and I won’t trust anyone but Keats to do the job!

After a poor experience earlier in the day for a So called professional HVAC company I was told my compressor was shot and could be replaced for $3500.00. I paid a $160.00 service charge for my trouble. I got a second opinion from Keats and it turned out nothing was wrong with my compressor! There was simply a bare wire shorting against the case. Chris taped it up and the system started right up and is running perfectly! To top it all off Chris only charged me his service charge but waived the repair charge out of kindness. After about a week of not having Air Conditioning and dealing with another company we finally have AC again thanks to Keats heating and cooling. Called them yesterday at 4 PM, he came out last night at almost 10 to verify what the other company said was actually the issue. Came early this morning and got my system fixed with a 5 year warranty on the part for almost half the price. I almost never give reviews or recommend companies but I came away really pleased with this transaction. So if you need stuff done I strongly suggest you give this family run business a call.

Actually, the technician called me and was able to get in Friday morning! He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me that was going on with our unit. Very happy with the replacement of our HVAC system. Price was affordable (we got quotes from 3 companies), he accepted credit card for payment, and stuck to his original quote even when it turned out to be more work to complete the install, which I imagine was a big challenge in our 1923 Dundee home. Chris Keats installed an excellent setup of new American Standard heating and cooling equipment for us recently. We had a bedroom that was too cold in the winter and too warm in the summer. Amazing experience all around! We live in Oklahoma and are moving to Nebraska. Knowing our situation, Keats went out to our new home and wrote up our bid for a Nest thermostat and humidifier install the same day I called their office. At our request and without hesitation, they went out of their way and went by our family’s house to pickup the Nest thermostat we had ordered and were needing to be installed. All of the equipment was installed and tested that day. Before leaving, Keats called me and made sure my Nest thermostat app setup and programmed to our thermostat. We live in a 20 years old condo and the old system was starting to "moan and groan." I wanted to update the system before "Murphy's Law" decided when it should die. I called Keats and Chris came out. I liked him from the start. I asked for a high energy efficient system. He emailed me a bid, it was higher than I expected, so I called two more companies. One a big name company, I did not like the people on the phone or the sales person that came out. (the price was higher yet). The third company's price was way low. I called Chris back, we went over the bid. We soon discovered we were comparing Apples to Oranges. We reworked the system to be somewhere in the middle from a energy and price standpoint. We had an emergency situation with our HVAC needing fixed, our warranty company should have taken care of us but with short notice of us going out of town we needed someone immediately. Keats was out to our house in less than an hour of us calling (around 7pm) and he was more than willing to work with our warranty company to save us money. Unfortunately our warranty company wasn’t as friendly, fair or helpful as they should have been, we hired Keats to have our HVAC repaired. He was on time, wonderful to work with, got the parts and job was done the next morning before 10am. I used Keats a few years ago and they were great. When I was having a similar issue again I dug out their card and called them! They were able to come several hours later & I was even called and updated on arrival time since they were running behind at an earlier job. When he arrived he did all the tests and determined the problem. Gave me a quote and called to see if they had the part in stock. They did and he went and got it came back and installed it and now my house is actually warm! He was also able to help guide me with another problem I was having with my humidifier! Those that did, said that they could not help us on Sunday if they could even help us at all that week. The local contractor that they assigned kept making excuses and even when I told them that I was going to by-pass the Home Warranty company and have them install a new unit, they said that they couldn't even get around to it for another week at the earliest. I called Keats and not only did Chris come out that same morning and on time, they did a complete replace that day! I highly recommend Keats to anyone who's having issues with their air, their home warranty, or other local contractors.

My Honeywell thermostat panel was not responding to touch so I managed to get into the Settings and reset it. I fixed the touch panel issue but inadvertently reset the compressor settings, etc. Chris and Brandon from Keats Heating and Cooling just left after spending almost 45 minutes entering the correct codes and just charged me for the service call - and it was after 6:30 PM!!!
