My heating stopped working late Saturday night. I called and made an appointment for the following Sunday morning at 10 am. The dispatch I called to set it up was very helpful and efficient. He knew exactly what he was doing and had me scheduled and off the phone in 5 minutes, which was very convenient considering it was almost midnight when I made the call. The next morning I received a call from the technician 30 min before arrival. Isaac arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. He was very efficient in making the repair and had the system up an running in less than an hour. He also went above and beyond to check and replace the filter. Also, Isaac was a very personable individual. He was extremely nice and patient in explaining the issue and making sure I didn’t have any questions. Just pleasant individual to be around. I would definitely recommend Interstate/Isaac for an HVAC issues.

Yesterday, I called to see if a tech could come out for a furnace issue. This was the first time I have used this company. Amanda was extremely friendly, understanding, and helpful when I first called about the problem with my furnace. The tech Isaac was extremely knowledgeable and educated me on future options without making me feel pressured to have unnecessary work done. I was really impressed with Interstate and will definitely call them in the future for HVAC maintenance or repairs. Both Amanda and Isaac were patient and kind. Interstate heating. Helped me out with thermostat and furnace not heating due to froze pipes. Rebecca the customer service rep did a Fantastic job she wrote down the issues and set up an appointment for next day. The technician Issac did all he could got the thermostat going. But furnace was still heating. Cleaned the hoses removing any frozen residue told me to wait until the pipe defrost. Wait 24 hours. Should get furnace heating again normally. And it did a lot sooner within 10 hours it was working excellent. I will definitely recommend anyone to utilize interstate heating services for their HVAC needs.

AC quit in August 2022, received 4 quotes and finally settled on Interstate Heating and Air to replace both the AC and Gas Heating unit. They arrived timely and on schedule but did not provide me any information including brand, serial numbers or model until today.but we’re happy to take my $10,000 for a new system. I was told this new unit would be more efficient than the 2001 unit. To date, there has been no decrease in kilowatt or units delivered from the old unit usage. Interstate just asked if OGE read my meter in-person or virtually. No offer to send someone to look it over. I finally disconnected after telling I would call OGE to find out and to have a nice day. Also discovered the electricity in my attic and attic lift no longer work since that day. I would strongly avoid this company.

It would be difficult to convey just how happy we are that we ran across Interstate Heating & Air Conditioning, because all the usual positive adjectives you read in reviews just don't quite measure up! Jake was amazingly patient with me/us and answered our most important questions, which were the ones we didn't know we had. Then, once hired and all the parts were available, our installers were quick, efficient, neat, and courteous. We are seniors and don't process information quickly, but they were so patient and kind with us (Jeremy and Jerimiah!). THREE different companies had come out to diagnose and bid on getting our HVAC problems diagnosed and brought up to snuff. We had been cooking all summer and freezing all winter, and all 3 of those companies wanted to simply replace our entire system to "solve all our problems." Our current "system" was installed by the home-flipper who used cheap, and sometimes previously used materials that didn't even have the right size fittings (like, 6" plenums to 4" plastic ducting AND only one 12" X 24" air intake for a 1500 Sf home!). Jake was also the ONLY one who actually crawled under the house to diagnose our problems. The others just pointed their flashlights into the crawl space and gave us "the bad news." Jake also explained that there may be a long delay in obtaining ducting due to supply chain issues, but we were willing to wait since he was the ONLY one who felt our current system was not only fixable, but that it would be more than adequate for many years to come with the right parts, an additional intake, and with regular maintenance. THEN, since he had been SUPER careful not to underbid his estimate, the final tally was actually over $3K LESS than itemized! IOW, they didn't add or replace anything that didn't need fixing or replacing or hadn't been talked about. Now we are FINALLY WARM all over the house for the first time in 3 years! A BIG THANK YOU to EVERYONE at Interstate! More good news for us is that we purchased their maintenance plan, so we will see them twice a year.

Good service performed with timely scheduling. Our technician was at the house within an hour or so of calling the company. Chris was quick and responsive, and performed the repair with ease it seamed. The price was a little stiffer than I figured would be required for that level of repair, but I was offered a Veteran's discount - which I appreciated. Great service, really professional everything works well. Only downside is i do think it was a bit pricey for cleaning of a minisplit unit. 530 in total for a full cleaning. This business is always professional, friendly, and accommodating. All service agents of this company that I've encountered represent the company well. However, the agent that covered this call (Kianoosh Moeini) was the best so far. I was his last stop of the day, and I assume that he thought he would still be able to close-out his day by 5pm. He was extremely professional, friendly, and accommodating, and it was obvious that he was personally concerned about being all of that and more! He told me what he was going to do. He explained to me (and showed me) every thing that he found. He explained each bit of the situation with me and explained what should, or could, be done. The result was that I felt I fully understood all problems of the over-all situation and felt I could confidently choose what steps I needed to address at this time. Though, Kianoosh had already been here a long time, he thoroughly completed all tasks I authorized before leaving (a bit after 6pm). April 2022 - Today, the serviceman was Isaac. All the good things I previously said about Klanoosh I can also apply to Isaac. I felt he went beyond the expected norm, and left me fully satisfied! Nov. 28, 2022 - Today, the serviceman was Taylor Pavey. He was new to me, but stepped right in as friendly as I was used to. He was professional and thorough, as I would have expected, quickly accomplishing his tasks. Before leaving, Taylor replaced my old filters with my new ones (even put the old ones in my outside trash can). He also explained all that he had encountered, and gave me one suggestion pertaining to what he had found. As usual, I was completely satisfied with the service.

Dealing with no working AC on this extremely hot summer is beyond stressful. We finally decided to bite the bullet and call a professional to come help us. The first day I called I was helped by a very nice lady I believe her name was Amanda. Forgive me if I’m wrong. She gave us a time and date right away. Luckily for us it was the same day. We woke up this morning with a lot of issues with our Heater. It kept on turning on, overheating and turning off within the span of minutes. We contacted Interstate Heating and It was the best decision possibly made. We decided to only receive their diagnosis services and were aid by Blake. He was very punctual, and attentive to our every question. He gave us very reasonable options on repairs and even went to the length to call his coworkers to see if anyone had the part we needed for our system. Although we did not do repairs at this time, we were very surprised by the service and how it attacks our every need or question, even on Christmas Eve. He was very polite and explained in detail and in layman's terms of what was going on. Never once did my ignorance deterr or discourage him. High quality individual and has earned his company a repeat customer. If this interaction was of any caliber of the work to be done, I'm not sure I would trust anyone else to do it. Finding an honest technician that simply wishes to help and make the end customer happy is an extremely rare occurrence during these times. This was for general maintenance and resolving a 'thumping' sound in the HVAC system. Turns out the contractor who installed the system failed to remove a shipping retaining bracket. This put stress on the fan motor. In time the motor is expected to fail. The technician removed the bracket. Also, determined the 'thumping' was caused by the controller board starting to fail due to the board starting and stopping the motor. Motor will need to be replaced.

The technician who came out for the estimate was honest. He told me that since the ductwork was not attached with screws there was a potential the tape would not to hold and if the ducts detached they would need reconnecting which would be an additional charge if I had them do it. The technician also looked in a vent and did not see a build up of dust and so I felt it best to hold off on cleaning at this time but I will be happy to use them in the future.

This company is terrific. They were one of the only companies that were willing to replace the flexible ductwork under my rent house crawl space with hard ductwork, so I don't have to continually repair it. Everyone there is so professional, courteous and responsive, from the receptionists to the technicians. Our technician, Brandon, was excellent and even figured out why we also kept having problems with the thermostats.....because it is right by the attic entrance and the attic was bringing lots of hot air into the house since there were no roof vents. Anyway, several other heating and air companies had never figured that out and Brandon recommended putting in a roof vent which we had him do, to help alleviate this problem. They were always efficient, on time and let us know ahead of time when they were on the way. Their pricing was reasonable as well. I can't recommend them enough.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone having any heating and air conditioning issues. After having 2 other companies come out and say that the whole air handler unit was junk and needed to be replaced, Jordan came out and found 2 different issues causing the unit to not work within 15 minutes of being there. I was then given a full upfront cost before anything else was done so I knew exactly what it was going to cost. Then within another 45 minutes he had fixed all of the wiring, replaced the transformer, and was already testing the now working unit. Overall experience was great and calling Interstate saved me roughly $2,000 (which is what I was quoted for a new air handler and all of the installation work).

6/7/21 - The 18-year-old unit that came with our house stopped blowing cool air, it has been cool this year - but hot temps were forecast for the week and we were dreading spending days in a hot house while waiting for an appointment. To our relief Amanda at Interstate told us when we called at 8am we could get a same-day appointment! Isaac arrived promptly asked about symptoms and quickly identified the problem. Instead of trying to hard-sell us on a new unit or a really expensive repair he just replaced the capacitor and got the a/c blowing cool air for a few Benjamins (yay!) When we asked for it he did give us a few price estimates to put in a replacement system so we can start budgeting and be ready for that eventually. Thanks Isaac, we appreciate your help! 6/1/21 - We needed a unit for a small apartment we are completing behind our house, Interstate scheduled the installation for June 1, the two installers for the minisplit were Jeremiah and Mario. They arrived on time and they got right to work putting in the unit. We even changed our mind from our original decision to put the exterior part of the unit up on a stand and they handled the change with a good attitude and even were kind to our son (9) who had many, many questions. The unit is in place and looks great and best of all is keeping the place comfortable for our guests, soon to arrive. Fantastic service and fair price! Interstate was great from start to finish! Although they are heating and air conditioning, I called them up to ask if they do plumbing/ water heaters, they do! The tech Brandon fixed the problem with my AC, and advised that I also replace a switch which I declined. A few days later the AC went out again due to the same problem and I had the switch replaced. Excellent experience. Had a different company evaluate my ac and said I had no Freon and that I had a massive leak, suggesting either $800 to charge the system or $5000 for a new ac/heater unit. Interstate offered to do a free comparison estimate. When the technician arrived it was obvious he was more knowledge. Walked me through everything he was testing and why. Explained it clearly and patiently. Said my Freon was fully charged and found a loose wire. They fixed it and charged me nothing. I never want to do business with anyone else. You can trust these people. They are out to do a good job and take care of the customer.

I called for airduct service cleaning at first. I was scheduled quickly for the appointment. I just bought an investment property that had smokers in it. We had cleaned, painted, cleaned, and painted so many times and still smoky so I thought it was in the ducts. My tech, Kianoosh, came out and looked at everything and took pictures. He explained his findings. Even though I called him with self diagnosis of duct cleaning, he actually recommended another service that he thought would work better as an ozone-hydroxyl treatment for the space. He was soooooo kind and patient. He was empathetic and understanding and took care of several things that I would consider outside the service fee at no charge just to show me extra value. He wore protective covers and worked cleanly. He recommended things that I could do on my own to protect my heating system over the long term. I was so happy with my total experience. And I will call them again.

Edit: After posting Jordan promptly called to apologize for how this might have happened and to make it right. I really appreciate the customer service demonstrated. They refunded my service charge, and even offered to pay for the other companies service charge, which I declined. Thank you for your honesty. Jordan came out to my house Monday. Told me I needed my blower motor replaced and quoted me $900 for it. He also cut the wires on the safety switch and left them without mentioning it. I had taken before and after photos, and so noticed the difference. I got a second opinion, who found that there was merely a loose wire, and charged me only $20 to repair, plus a $60 service charge, and cleaned out my compressor, too.

sep 2019, Interstate installed a new furnace and central air unit. they offered to replace thermostat at that time and I declined. I knew the thermostat was aging but did not have a lot of funds. This past week Dec22nd of 2020 my thermostat died and I called them for help. Same day service, terrific people to talk to on the phone. I had heat before 430 pm. Thank you guys so much. I highly recommend this company. They left the work area very clean, answered all my questions, both times and this most recent visit the technician did wear a mask to help protect against covid. I called yesterday and scheduled a duct cleaning for 9 am area and there was a error in scheduling and I had a limited time to pick up my daughter from school. The office manager called and was very nice and apologized about the mix up and was gratious covered the cost of the cleaning and me taking off of work for the cleaning. I was able to get same-day service -- actually within a few hours -- to replace the ignitor in my furnace. Jarod, our technician, was very professional. He had the part on-hand and made the repair quickly. I was shocked by the price of the repair. I had priced the replacement part at only $20, but it would have taken two days for delivery and it has been below freezing -- so we bit the bullet and had Interstate make the repair. Glad to be able to type this without wearing gloves!

Great service and experience...again! This is the second time we've used them. First time was more substantial work - new intake as well as new return, inspection, etc. This time was a simple diagnostic of our A/C unit and overall system. Very professional service across the board from scheduling to arrival. Received a call first thing in the morning when they were on their way. Jordan arrived on time, was very professional and explained everything so we could easily understand. Had a suggestion for a repair on our outside unit, but was never pushy with making us feel like we had to do it. Gave us pros/cons of doing it now or waiting. Ended up waiting on the repair - hoping the part will hold on a little longer. However, if/when it does go out, we'll be calling Interstate back out again!

My upstairs A/C unit was frozen over and had stopped working. Jordan came and helped me out the same day I called. He was really knowledgeable, friendly, and walked me through everything he was doing. Ultimately all that needed to be done was some cleaning of the evaporator coils and fins, though he did check for other problems as well. I appreciated that he didn't try to sell me any additional services or pressure me into anything. He just fixed the problem and walked me through what all my options were. He did provide a booklet for me to read while I was waiting that had a lot of good information about heating and air units and walked through their services and prices. I thought that was a good way of explaining everything they offered without feeling like a sales pitch. I felt like everything was up front and there were no surprises, which is always a concern of mine. Overall it was a good experience, and I plan on calling them for any heating and air needs in the future.

We got home from work only to find out our AC wasn't working and I called Interstate and they had Brandon out within the hour. My A/C stopped cooling. I called Interstate and one other company. Both said that they could have a technician come out within a few hours. Interstate was the first to call back and let me know that the technician was on his way. So, I canceled the service call of the other company. The technician was professional and friendly. He diagnosed the issue and had my A/C back to cooling in less than an hour. The parts and labor were bit expensive. And, it would be nice if they offered a veteran's discount. But, in Oklahoma having A/C in the Summer is a must. So, I paid what I had to in order to have A/C.

Very good service & polite, professional technician, but as the original appointment of Monday, April 18th had to be rescheduled as it was too cool outdoors, I was not exactly elated to get a call to try and reschedule AGAIN the second appointment of Friday, April 22nd to another day next week (in which I was NOT available and wasn't going to rearrange my appointments/plans AGAIN). I was also a tad offended at being asked if I was even experiencing any a/c problems as it was stated to me that your company was "inundated" with calls, which I took to mean if I wasn't having any problems, my a/c tune-up should be placed at the bottom of the list and stay there for how many more reschedules? Having said that, your company DID stick to/honor rescheduled appointment of April 22nd and the technician did arrive early in the first hour. This "rescheduling" once, or more, seems to be the case with more than a few heating & air companies in the OKC area more often than not anymore, especially where ONLY $90+ (or $180 yearly) tune-ups are concerned. Question is, how do you and other HVAC companies handle those who have to take time off from their job (either having to use their personal leave or take unpaid leave) to sit and wait for appointments, only to get a call that they need to reschedule one, two, even three times? The customer's time and schedules (whether employed outside the home OR retired) are just as important and precious as your company's are.

I was really impressed with the technician from the start. Right before entering the house and anytime after that, he slipped on a pair of booties to prevent any dirt from being tracked inside. He thoroughly explained what was required to perform the tune-up service I'd asked for. My system required additional freon and he'd invited me to witness the amount of weight it required. So far, I can honestly say that Interstate has been very knowledgeable and helpful. I work in maintenance and it's not terribly easy to pull the wool over my eyes. They have not tried to sell me anything that I don't need, or my home be able to actually show results. I don't live in a home that can take advantage of a 20+seer unit when a 15 seer can provide the best savings to Cash cost. These guys know what they are doing and what you need. I would not hesitate to use them again. You won't be buying a bill of goods from them.

I ended up paying $89 for the technician to look and see if my dryer vent needed cleaning. Adam got here on time, and the main office called to let me know he was on his way. He was very thorough, told me everything that he found as he was working, and replaced a broken surge protector. I've done business with Interstate since 2006 and have been very pleased with its service. The consistency tells me that it is indeed a reputable business, and I'll continue to have Interstate do my winter/spring "tune-up" to keep my furnace and AC in good condition. UPDATE & ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: To be in good faith, I thought I should edit this review to make a few more comments. I've learned the hard way to stick around when someone is working on my house. I try not to hover or get in the way, but I stay in sight and watch to make sure the worker isn't idle or stealing my (crummy) stuff. I also make chit-chat to be polite. Just a few days before Adam came to my house, there had been some bad national news about banks and how they sometimes treat customers unlawfully. When I mentioned this, Adam stunned me by saying that Jews run the entire country and have all the money. I didn't yell at him, but sternly responded that he was wrong and that Jews are no different from Baptists or Methodists or Atheists. He shot back another anti-Semitic comment and I again told him he was wrong. I didn't take it further because I didn't want him to retaliate and damage my furnace or hurt me. When Adam left, I called the Interstate office and asked to speak to the owner. The receptionist put him on the line and I told him about Adam's anti-Semitic comments. The owner sounded genuinely horrified and said he'd talk to Adam immediately when he returned to the office. He also said that Interstate has weekly update and training meetings, and he'd bring this up the next Monday. I pointed out that Adam had no idea whether I was Jewish, Catholic, Muslim, Baptist or any other religion. I told the owner that Adam had made me very angry and very scared because if I had pushed the issue into an argument, Adam was big enough to hurt me. The owner assured me that he would take immediate action with Adam, and incorporate in the next week's training that technicians need to keep their mouths shut about personal opinions. The owner voluntarily said that he'd put a note in my file to never send Adam back to my house under any circumstances. Although I've heard nothing further, my feeling was that the owner "got it" and understood how wrong Adam was to be talking smack about anyone's religion. Frankly, I was so shocked when Adam started his BS about Jews that I was frozen. In hindsight, I wish I had called the office on the spot and told Adam to get out of my house. Unfortunately, I think of those things later and not at the moment. In summary, I had the feeling that the owner truly understood the gravity of a technician making hateful remarks about anyone's religion. I will continue to use Interstate because Adam's behavior is the only bad experience I've had with this company in all the years I've dealt with it. The owner was responsive, apologized all over the place, and I believe he followed through on his promise, although I have no proof. If something like this happens again with anyone I've paid to work on my house, I won't hesitate to throw them out on the spot, call their supervisor/owner, and demand another worker to complete the job if it takes till midnight. I feel guilty that I didn't kick Adam out as soon as he started making ugly comments. But the fault is his and not mine. Please feel comfortable to use Interstate for any of its services. Beware of a tech named Adam, and if anyone from any company talks that way, kick their butt out immediately and call their office to report it. As I write this, I'm angry all over again. But one prejudiced technician does not make a bad company. I got good response from the owner of Interstate and I'm glad that I stood up for what is right. We should all do that. WE DO NOT HAVE TO PAY TO HEAR ANYONE TALK HATRED!

Interstate has been great to work with. My husband and I were getting a short circuit error on our thermostat, and Interstate sent out their technician, Jordan to assist us. He fixed the contactor, but later that night the error message popped back up. He came back the next day (a Saturday) to see if he missed anything the day before at no additional fee. He told us we needed to install a new thermostat to solve the problem (we opted to try and do it ourselves to save money). Later that evening, when we were struggling to get the thermostat functioning correctly, Jordan texted and called us multiple times until we got everything back up and running. First, the customer care team is by far the best I have ever encountered. Doesn't matter when you call them - they are so polite and professional on the phone and it doesn't matter when you call or how many times you call, they always put a smile on my face with their positive attitudes. When you schedule a visit for a repair or just the fall/spring tune-up, they send you an email with the technician's picture, name, and a short bio. Our AC went out on a warm evening, and I called Interstate around 8:30pm. I called them on a Thursday afternoon and he was out here Friday at noon to help me with my system. Last weekend our heater decided to quit working when it was expected to be below freezing and the possibility of snow. We called a few places and Interstate was the one with the lowest price to come out and diagnose what was wrong. IHA representatives are always friendly, courteous and well informed. When encountering a heating and/or AC problem I always feel confident in calling IHA,a we have had a few considering the age of our HVAC. Of course, like most people we don't like the surprise of our unit having problems, so we joined their club to get discounts and two services included in spring and fall. Adam came to see us on a Sunday to diagnos why we had no cool air and the next day Issac came to fix our AC. Fan and motor less than 1000 dollars and during summer in Oklahoma makes it worth it.

Interstate Heating and Air Conditioning representative called to verify that the service time was correct but notified us that he could arrive earlier than the scheduled time. Mike the service technician was very knowledgeable and very professional throughout the whole service and explained in detail preventative maintenance techniques for the HVAC system. The only drawback was the overall cost for the service, but that was outside the technicians control. There was a communication gap between the first call to the Interstate Call Center, that related the service call, but not the additional service to the HVAC system cost. I will not remove a Star for that, but just be advise to ask clear concise questions. There is an automatic cash amount for the Technician to make a service call to your residence and also maintenance cost for any maintenance on the HVAC system. This includes connecting diagnostic equipment up to unit to verify possible issues to your HVAC system. Again, ask questions before the technician is sent out, but don't be discouraged. Overall the technician (MIKE) was outstanding and communication was open throughout the whole service. I will definitely use Interstate in the future, because of the Outstanding service that Mike provided to a novice individual in the HVAC systems.
