Mike O diagnosed air in the pipes as the cause of the lack of heat in part of my house. He is professional and thorough. He answered my questions about different parts of my furnace with patience and didn't push replacement or repairs that aren't necessary now, but explained what new type of part is now available when it does becomes necessary. He actually remembered servicing the furnace 4 years ago and checked my previous service calls on his tablet to confirm what he had previously repaired. He was friendly and kind to me as well as to my dog on his way out the door. I highly recommend Scaran and Mike O. I am so glad I just signed up for the Priority Service Plan with them so I will get discounts on future service calls and a much needed annual tune-up

Anthony first came to my home, very professional and had a sense of humor! He was HONEST and explained everything and gave me options unlike others that lied, over priced and didnt even bother to call back, so I went with Scaran. Today the electrician and AC/Heat team came and worked very hard, did a great job and were very professional and nice and explained everything. The electrician also noticed some electrical problems that he pointed out and fixed out of safety concern, he was Anthony from Plaza Electrical and did not overcharge. Recently I had the annual servicing of my furnace and had 3 new digital thermostats installed and the difference is amazing. John is very knowledgeable and competent. Back in June (2019), we needed new water heater and used Scaran. We had a great experience with them so my wife and I decided to call on them again when our boiler (only 12 years old) was having problems. My wife and I can now say that we are EXTREMELY pleased with our experience with Scaran for our boiler replacement. It has been a pleasure to work with Anthony (sales) and with every person from Scaran with whom we've had the pleasure of interacting with. We are quite impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and respect everyone has given us. The installation itself went very well and all the various crews associated with it went like clockwork, from rip out and removal of the old boiler, to the installation of the new boiler, to the electrical aspect of the installation. EVERYONE associated with the project exhibited pride in their work. The craftsmanship and work quality is exceptional. Alvin (the service technician) who did a thorough diagnostic, broke the news to us about needing a new boiler to us gently and with compassion. The installation crew, Ray and Silva were true gentlemen - so courteous and respectful.... and left our basement cleaner than they found it. Our compliments are not limited to the installation crew everyone from a very personable, professional salesperson (Anthony) to the office staff on the phone (Jennifer) -- made us feel like a valued customer. This experience with this group of professionals was quite refreshing to us in the day and age when no one seems to care what kind of product they offer or service they (usually fail to) provide, mixed in with greedy, disrespectful and unprofessional people. Scaran has given us hope that it is indeed possible to provide exceptional customer service and qualify service and unsurpassed workmanship.

Dennis & Matt revamped my HVAC system this morning (my system was not installed by them, although I wish it had been). Also another separate service call was done on Feb 17 this was also excellent and was done by Michael and his assistant. We had Scaran come yesterday to put in a mini-split air conditioning system. I have to say that we were thrilled with Scaran from start to finish. Anthony came to give us the original estimate, and he highly impressed us. He was friendly, informative, professional, and honest. We were comfortable with him immediately, and decided to use Scaran for the job because of him. We had already had 2 other estimates, but when Anthony came, we knew that we wanted Scaran to do the job. Our choice turned out to be the perfect one! Yesterday, the workers came nice and early, and really took the time and care to lay a foam-like cover on my floors - not just paper. This protected the floors from the dirt and the ladders. I was highly impressed, as I have had work done in the house before, and never had anyone use such quality material to protect my floors. The workers, Aaron and Matt, were such pleasant, polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful people. They cared for my house as if it were their own. They were so appreciative of us offering them bottles of water - just so nice! We said that they could use the front door to go in and out to the truck, which would have been easier for them, but they politely declined, as they did not want to track anything through the house. They worked beautifully, and did exactly what we hoped for. The work was impeccable, and they took the time to clean up after. Anthony came back to check the work - also impressive. We are more than happy with Scaran, and thank Anthony, Aaron, and Matt for all they did. It was a wonderful experience, and I HIGHLY recommend Scaran for any work. I will certainly use them again!

UPDATE 5/1/2020: John Beynon was our technician for our yearly air conditioning check-up/maintenance - he is the best technician we've had so far. Knowledgeable, thorough, super nice, and trustworthy. He went above and beyond! 5 Stars to John and Scaran! I'm a new homeowner and had Scaran install a brand new Lennox furnace and air conditioning system. They were neat, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job overall. Anthony, the sales manager, explained everything to me and made the process less stressful. Many people say Scaran is a bit more expensive for HVAC installations, but I'll tell you what - I'd rather pay a little more to ensure the job is done right! Not only did they discard my old furnace and AC unit, they registered my new equipment, and were very transparent with all documentation up front. Please consider them for future install and repair services to AC, heat, and hot water. Bravo!

Hi. I just purchased and installed a new HVAC system by Scaran. (A/C and Furnace.) I looked at other HVAC companies and decided to go with Scaran for a number of reasons which will become obvious below. Working with Anthony, Scaran Sales Manager, was a pleasure. He is kind, unassuming and extremely knowledgeable. He taught me a lot. A breath of fresh air. The recommended system is what I wanted, and what was proposed. There were no hidden price increases or anything like that. Scaran was and is honest to their word. Good people. Now for the install: Scaran kept to the date and time selected. Right on it. The install just blew me away.: The men doing the removal and installation are True Craftsman. You don’t find that often. Scaran did. New ductwork was fabricated by hand using equipment in the truck itself. True Craftsman. The system works properly, without a hitch. Cleanup was immaculate. So if you are looking for anything to do with HVAC, replacement, repair etc., look to Scaran. I’m glad I did. Thanks, Lou.

Scaran Technicians JOHN BEYNON and STEVE TANG: Been experiencing issues with my home heating system since the start of the winter season. My system, generally, has been very good to us over the years. This winter has been out of the norm. Had several calls for repair but the issues persisted. Today, Jan 8, 2021, the team of John Beynon and Steve Tang came in and thoroughly looked over the whole system - the switches, the burner, the chimney flue, the oil filter and the emergency switch. They found the issues, corrected them and replaced what needed to be replaced. By the time they finished, the heating system was working good as new and I had complete confidence that I will have heat as my home required. It is particularly important because we have 2 disabled adults living in my home. Thank you John Beynon and Steve Tang. Great job!

Mike O. just remedied our a/c system problem in a quick, pleasant and efficient manner. He added a new connection to help if the problem re-occurs and recommended we make use of our maintenance agreement on a more regular basis. His colleagues had installed a cut off switch in our system to prevent water damage to our ceilings. That preventative measures saved us a great deal of trouble. Keep up the great work! Had a pleasure of dealing Scaran today, unfortunately I can't recall the name I believe it's either Allen or Alex, very professional, spent longer than usual to make sure my unit was working properly after replacing the capacitor. My unit is very old almost 20 years and my furnace too, looking to getting it replaced, but for now we need it to run for one more summer and the technician did a nice job explaining everything. Will deal with them again.

I have to say I couldn't be more happy with the work Scaran has done in my home....Special thanks to Anthony B... he was there from sales..to the install date..during install and final walkthrough... thru him I had a Weil Mclain gas boiler put in and they even removed the old one...and we also had a 5 unit Mitsubishi ductless system put in..after a full season cycle im happy to report everything is working perfect.... they are my goto when I need something done and I know Anthony is just a text away if I have any concerns.... thanks Scaran!!! Adding 4/19... I always seem to be in extreme duress when I have to call Scaran...no heat in December or in this case, no AC on a 90 degree day in May. Bottom line, I called and within no time, they were at my house to diagnose and fix the issue. This industry is littered with fly by night guys...they are the complete antithesis of that. Their techs are friendly, knowledgeable and best of all, respect my house...I mean..it was crazy...it was raining yesterday and the tech put on booties over his work boots to make sure not to mess up the floors...While I thought nothing of it, it made my wife VERY happy so double bonus. In the end, they couldn't fix my problems with repairs...but they were able to give me a great price on a new AC unit and within 24 hours, my system is up and running again. The service is extraordinary. The service techs are not there "selling" you on everything they can squeeze onto a quote. My AC unit went out a couple of years ago. They gave me an estimate at 8:00 in the morning, I called them at 9:30 AM to tell them to install the system. The system was in, working, and there wasn't a spec of dirt left over. All by 5:45 PM that day. My wife swears by now. She was originally concerned that they were a little more expensive than the other prices we got on a few things, but now she recommends them to everyone we know.

Lou the technician did an incredible job in my parents home, they are older, have trouble speaking the language and are always worried about getting ripped off because of their age. Lou has such patience, knowledge in his trade and was even so compassionate to take out google translator for my dad. Overall excellent tech and service provided.
