I had a very good experience with this company. Our HVAC was not heating or cooling and a tech came out. He was nice and explained the problem and our options and we decided to bite the bullet and get a new unit. Another guy was out the same day to quote us and got a unit ordered. It was only about 2 business days and the installers came on time in the morning. It took them about 5 hours to install and everything seemed to go smoothly. We now have heat and air and the price seemed normal/reasonable. No complaints here.

Recently had a new Lennox system put in. Matt and Justin came out and worked diligently till they removed my old system and installed the new system. They took the time to address concerns and questions I had as well as addressing a couple of "pre-existing" issues that I didn't want to carry over with the new system. Working with the office staff, Rebecca and TJ was great as well. They worked had at making sure I was going to be satisfied. When you're spending that kind of money, it helps to have someone that takes the time to address your concerns and wants to meet your needs.

These guys knocked our socks off with their relentless work ethic, engaging personalities and personal integrity across the board. Just exceptional customer service and technical execution from top to bottom. All of the techs we talked to during our installation (John, David and Steven specifically) knew their stuff and each brought decades of experience to the job. Big thanks to them and the rest of the crew! But no Solace review would be complete without mention of TJ. This guy is a star on the rise. He is a great manager who leads his incredible team from the front. He is not afraid to get in there and work alongside the techs as they complete their daily work. Phenomenal talent coupled with a tireless and diligent work ethic. Sky is the limit for this guy! I have no doubt Solace is going to take over the market in Middle Tennessee just like they have in Memphis and we are grateful we found them to install our 2 HVAC systems! I returned from vacation to find my heat pump running constantly. I called DHC and they responded that day. They had installed a valve in May and it had failed. Their technician, Doug, told me they would replace the part and no cost to me. He had to order the part, and installed it within two days. He was very professional, and explained what he was doing to my satisfaction. Great company and great service technician.

We had our main heating/air conditioner replaced with a hybrid Lenox. I got three estimates which included Costco sub-contractor. DHC Comfort was the sub for Costco and they are the ones we chose base on their quote and their customer service. DHC from the very first contact to the final instal inspection was outstanding. The installers were very polite, knowledgeable and on time. When the weather turn cold and we started to use the heating there was a problem with the unit but after I called DHC they were apologetic and scheduled a service call the very next day, which was a surprise since their schedule was full. They fixed the unit and made sure I was satisfied, which I was. I highly recommend DHC for their professionalism and expertise.

This company is excellent. Our HVAC suddenly quit working in February. Fortunately, it was unseasonably warm. We had been having issues with the HVAC (voltage output was low, making weird sounds, intermittently would not work for an hour or two) and we had another local company come out a few months before this happened. They said everything was fine and charged us $200 for the inspection. DHC came the same day I called, diagnosed the problem in 30 minutes and only charged $79 for that. The did not have my needed part in stock, but even with that, the repair was completed less than 48 hours after the initial call. Employees were professional, timely and cost was reasonable. Only a bit more than I was charged for the inspection a few months early. I wish I had used them previously. Strongly recommended.

Service guy was very nice but I suppose the company pushes him to sell parts. My blower motor was sticking guy says that will be about $500 to replace i asked about oiling it for now service tech claimed it won't help i insisted on trying that to get by for now. I oiled it and it has been running fine for 3 weeks now which was enough to get me through the very cold spell we were having. I get that they are in business to make money which they still did $69 for 10 minutes of work is still very good pay and i would have been more inclined to use them in the future if he had not insisted that oiling it would not help and it did.

My unit was not cooling properly. It seem to be getting way to warm in the house with little relief from the summer heat. I had never used this company but have heard only good things about the owners and the staff, so I decided to give them a try. I called and told them my problems and THEY were able to work me in that day, even though they were extremely busy.One of their service techs came out and diagnosed our unit with having a coil leaking. It’s a small leak and we will have them come back soon to fix this but in the meantime, we added Freon to the unit and now it’s so cold in the house, I need to wear a sweatshirt when I come home every day. Anyway, I found that their staff and TECHS were very professional and courteous and I didn’t feel like I was overcharged. I would recommend them to anyone!

My A/C died on me 2 days ago in the middle of the night. I called DHC the first thing in the morning and they sent over their technician Immediately. The technicians checked the whole system and told me that a switch board in my AC has malfunctioned and it will have to be replaced. They checked every detail and even found that the part was under warranty from the company (which I didn't know). They got the part from the company and fixed it promptly. I am very pleased with their service and will continue to use their services.

Update: Earlier this week, we had an issue with our duct work, as discovered by our electrician. After one call to Solace, we had our technician, Zach, arriving at the house the same afternoon. He was quick to diagnose and repair the issue (simply a loose flexible duct) within an hour of his arrival. He was kind, courteous, and informed me of the issue and his plan to resolve it. He did this while understanding that I was working at home and communicated in between my phone calls. I would highly recommend Solace based on this service experience with Zach alone. Below is a more detailed review of our initial experience with Solace, also excellent. Last month as temperatures plunged in the Nashville area, we found that the furnace on our main level was not working properly. After contacting a couple of companies, it was determined that we needed a new system. So, we reached out to Solace Heating and Air to get an additional quote. We were so impressed by the service that Phil offered during his diagnosis and his transparency in explaining what we needed in order to remedy our situation. Phil got us set up with a very quick turnaround on installation, where Steven and James came. Both were also very courteous and professional. During their installation, they carefully removed the old equipment, explained what they were doing step by step, and expertly installed our new package unit. It looked like a lot of hard work, but they didn't seem to cut a single corner, ensuring our satisifcation before they left. As temperatures dropped a few weeks after the install, my smart thermostat alerted me that the furnance was "short cycling" or running for less than 10 minutes at a time for multiple times. Following its advice, we contacted Solace to send a technician out to investigate. Zachery came quickly in the same day and was able to check everything carefully and determine that everything was working just as designed. We felt much better about our investment and the extra peace of mind by his visit. I would strongly recommend Solace to any homeowner looking for superior service from a team of committed professionals.
