Choosing Snelling Heating Cooling and Electrical for our home cooling and heating needs was the best decision we made. They were able to replace our furnace, AC, water heater in few hours and gave us a free updated thermostat.They worked within our budget and provided a system that was the right for our home. The technicians were professional, respectful of our space and followed COVID guidelines. The front desk staff was professional and very helpful. After our comfortable summer and warm winter we got a follow up call from Snelling Heating Cooling and Electrical offering a free cleaning and tune up. We recently purchased an old home that had two "bum" radiators. I bled them but that didn't do the trick so I called in a professional to help and ended up choosing Snelling for the job. Everyone I interacted with on the phone was so very kind, and the tech that showed up to our home was also fantastic! He fixed our issue, it ended up being a really simple fix (yay), and let me watch and ask questions. I learned more about our boiler system and feel like a more confident home owner. My central air wasn’t working on a day that it would hit close to 100 degrees and a Friday as well. I called Snelling fully expecting that they wouldn’t be able to send someone that day because they must be just slammed with installations and repairs. But Jake told me he could get someone here in the afternoon. He called a bit later and asked if I was okay with them coming earlier. The tech arrived and fixed the issue very quickly and efficiently, explaining to me what was wrong and making a few maintenance suggestions. The price was reasonable and the tech very professional. An A+ job all around!

Our air conditioner stopped working. I called Snelling and they quickly sent out a technician named Randy. Randy was very professional and polite. Randy told me I that I eventually needed to replace the whole unit. He checked the unit and told me that chipmunks had chewed through the wiring. He repaired the wiring and said he would have some sales people from Snelling contact us about a new unit. We were so happy with his professionalism that we asked him to do the annual maintenance to prepare our furnace for the heating season.

Our air conditioner stopped working on Tuesday of this week. A very inopportune time since it has been so hot. The Snelling crew arrived this morning. Our thermostat read 89. We had both air conditioner and furnace installed since both were over 20 years old. We have used Snelling and Snelling before and have been very satisfied. Can and two of his co-workers installed both furnace and air conditioner, removed all of the old and did an excellent job. We are so very pleased with their work.

I reached out via email to Bob Webber at Snelling about replacing a water heater and received a phone call back within a couple hours. He asked some questions over the phone and scheduled a visit the following day. He had done a lot of work knowing what we needed replaced and what they could offer. He was able to replace our water heater for a much lower price than one of the big companies in the area. The crew was out to replace in 2 days and there was communication throughout the entire process. Wonderful service, great prices, friendly people. I would highly recommend Snellling for water heater replacement and we will be using them for other services in the future!

I called Snelling Heating Cooling and Electric based on the very good reviews that I read when looking for an electrician that could come to my home as soon as possible due to a socket that had burnt out (literally, burnt). I had someone at my home the very next morning. The electrician was extremely professional and explained everything that he did to fix the issue, what his opinion was that caused the issue and really set my mind at ease! I had a great experience with Bob at Snelling. He was very informative and professional. He did not pressure us at all and was straight forward with us. Only reason I did not give 5 stars was when they were installing the workers left my backdoor open and I was unaware (I was working from home and in another room) I have cats and thankfully they did not get out. When I informed Snelling to maybe just let the workers know to tell people when they are leaving doors open they brushed me off a little and said they workers are so busy they probably didn't realize I had cats. Whether or not they realized it I feel I should have been informed. But Other than that it is great company and we got 3 different estimates and overall quality and price snelling was the best. Highly recommended.

I always like the excellent job Snelling electricians do, yet it is expensive—a $97 fee just to show up. I’m willing to pay their prices because I know they provide me with safe electrical work. I have worked with Alex and Chris, both of whom took my questions and concerns gracefully, providing me with no nonsense answers.

While my initial review of Snelling was positive, I'm disappointed at the follow-up. We were told that the the filter we had was too small, and asked if we would want someone else to come out to figure out what needs to be done so we can have a filter fit. We said yes, since we have a 5-year old and are getting kittens. He said he would put in a note and someone would contact us. It has been over a month now, and we have yet to receive the follow-up call about setting up an appointment for this.

Tried one other service that didn’t pan out. Snelling responded same day during an intensely busy time post heat wave. Got my parents 30 year old ac unit back and running within an hour. Basically a miracle as far as they are concerned. Couldn’t have been happier with our tech and the whole team. Five stars.

He came and checked it out, didn’t have the part on him and they didn’t have it in stock, so he drive to another store to pick it up the same day. He came back and installed the part. Snelling Heating Cooling & Electrical installed a mini split AC system in my shop this week and I was very pleased with their service! Of course, I was searching for contractor during the the hottest May ever - and, Snelling Company was helpful and very prompt with communication even in this busy time. I was shopping around and received multiple quotes from several companies. Snelling came in right in the middle - while also installing a top-of-the-line Mitsubishi unit. Plus, they had much better communication than other businesses. They were even able to fit our install in almost a week earlier than initially quoted. It took less than two weeks from my first conversation till it was installed. (During a 90 degree May when everyone was scrambling to get their ACs in! I'd call that incredible!!) I'd highly recommend them for commercial work! Thanks so much, Snelling Company!

Brandon, Jordan, and the whole team did a fantastic job getting a new furnace up and running when mine stopped working. I called at 8am, they had a tech out before 10am, and a new furnace installed and working by 3pm. They really went above and beyond trying to fix the old one and promptly install a new one to get me heat again. Additionally, they helped get the wifi and app set up after I spent 3 hours on the Honeywell's helpline with no answer. Very happy with their work!

Hands down the best service company I've ever worked with. I'm not easily impressed, but every time they come out, I feel the need to write them a rave review. They replaced our furnace and hot water heater in 2016, and they were consummate professionals. Today I called at 11am, because our A/C wasn't working in this awful heat. They had it fixed and working by 12:20, and only charged $250! I love these folks! I highly recommend their maintenance program!

Mid-day on Monday I received a call saying they could move the appointment up and the tech could be at my house in a half hour - and he was! FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! June 2016: I was with a different company and they were always rude to deal with. I called the Snelling Co. (Snelling Heating, Cooling & Electrical) and was surprised at the difference from the moment they answered the phone. The lady that answered was very nice and informative. I ended up speaking with a manager for more service details and he explained everything to me. He suggested first that I clean the AC condenser unit outside. He pointed me to YouTube instructional videos too. He could have easily had me pay for a service call to do it - but he had the integrity to suggest I do it myself to see if that solved my problem with the AC struggling to cool. Well, I went outside and took off the cover panels and wow! It was very dirty, even after 3 yrs from last servicing. I hosed it down, its now clean, and is no longer trying to breathe through a stuffed-up nose so-to-speak. Again, they could have sent a tech out and charged me for this simple thing, but had the integrity to help me solve what turned out to be a simple issue on my own. They have earned my trust and loyalty! (and my referrals). I very highly recommend them! 9-1-16 Update: I had a T-Stat go bad on me after 4 years. Contacted Snelling Co. & they swapped it out no problems. Amazing customer service in an age where most companies don't care about anything but the current sale. I will definitely have them do my annual tune-ups.

An ecobee thermostat installed by a handyman resulted in replacing the transformer in both our systems (boiler/AC). Howard fixed my heat fast and easy ON THE WEEKEND. He arrived within an hour of my call and had my heat working in the following hour. These guys are FAST and professional so I had them come back and clean my ducts as well. While Randy and Howard were here cleaning the ducts, Randy took the time to give me a lot of useful information about how HVAC works and how to control the humidity/dryness in my house throughout the seasons. I appreciate the fact that he gave me useful information rather than trying to up-sell me additional services. After years of having a service plan with one of the big Twin Cities companies, we wised up to the practices of the metro's large home service companies and decided to take our business elsewhere. Since 2016, we have had the other company out to address a problem with our A/C, which they identified as a coolant leak. The solution was always a spendy top-up of coolant with no further diagnosis; we did this every single spring. This year, we had Snelling out and they did a MUCH more thorough diagnosis of our system, including going up into the attic to look at the air handler which the other company always refused to do. Randy was informative, courteous, and personable AND immediately found a massive leak at one of the joints. We were able to get the leak addressed and entire system working again for lower than the cost of our previous, ineffective coolant top-ups. Wish we had called Snelling 4 years ago!

After trying for several hours to diagnose problem on a hot spring day due to our outside AC compressor not working, they were able to come within an hour after we called on a Saturday evening and find out what was wrong (the original contractors of the house we bought several months earlier didn't put a low Amp line to the compressor) he was able to fix it and write a detailed receipt for us to send to the original contractors (who we were unable to get a hold of that day) to foot the bill. Very relieved to have a cool house after the evening before trying to sleep when it was 80 degrees inside.

We had a very positive experience working with Snelling from the diagnosis of the issue (which was done successfully over the phone, over a holiday, and during a high demand cold snap with a phone call and a few texted photos!) to the install and maintenance. We had great customer service throughout. The technician that helped with the install did a thorough job. He was technically sound and not a high pressure sales person. This was a breathe of fresh air after dealing with larger companies that seem more focused on up-selling services and products. We are relieved that our boiler has been properly repaired and tuned up. I would strongly recommend Snelling if you want excellent customer service, technically sound professionals (from office to field staff), and a focus on service rather than sales.

I'd bought an old duplex, with one set of existing tenants who were very difficult to deal with. One of them had a lawyer father who forced me to sign a document (or go to court) saying I'd not begin any work before 10:00 and only 4 days per week. Snelling was very flexible in dealing with these restraints and also helped me calculate how I would remodel the basement into an apartment. (Many years before it had been an apartment.) When the work was nearly done and they were installing radiators in the basement, it felt great to have them complement the work me and my carpenters had done there. We had an appointment set to put in the ductless system, but the 1st floor tenants denied us access. Snelling was very good about rescheduling this to another time. Their quoted price was competitive with the 2 other bids I'd received. I'd recommend them to anyone.
