Outstanding defines my entire experience!!! My thermostat was not working, and I was stressed about the upcoming heat, and later cold, I would be facing. However, my experience at River City Heating & Air Conditioning allayed all that worry. Not only were the people who took my call friendly and professional, but the technicians, Cody and Mason were knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. This was a superb experience, and I will definitely work with them in the future!

This team is the best! From the salesman who came out, assessed my homes needs, and helped me choose the best product for my situation; the great team of professional installers who worked in cold, wet conditions to get things installed before winter hit; through the office staff and technicians who were there to answer my questions before and after the purchase--totally professional! totally responsive communicators! totally high quality/good value for my money. But I'm afraid the mini split is such a good one that it'll be many years before I have need to call on them again.

The day of installation, the team showed up on time and put down protective gear on the floor to limit dust tracking into my home. My dogs were very curious about all the activity, and each of the guys took the time to pet them and let them know they were safe visitors. There were a few snags in the process (older townhome with quirks!), and they came back the next day to make sure it was all finished and running smoothly. A month after installation, I had some issues figuring out all the functions of the remote for the system, so they sent a service tech out to help. He spent a half an hour going through all the possible functions of the remote and answered all questions I had. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality install in a timely and responsive fashion.

Our central air conditioning quit working right before a predicted heatwave (of course !), so, from previous experience, having used River City for our furnace purchase 9 years ago, there was no question as to who to call. They set up an appointment the next day to pick out the unit best suited for our home, and they installed the very next day! They are very professional, and friendly, explaining , and answering, all of our questions. As far as we are concerned they are the best at what they do in our area. Thank you River City for keeping us cool during all this hot weather!

River City was highly professional and efficient in installing the new furnace and treated me with the utmost respect in this honor. From the first phone call from Norm to the completion of the installation by Tom and Zach, I always felt as if I were their only customer and not just "another job to finish and move onto the next". It's nice to see that level of customer service in a world that is driven by profit. For River City, it is clearly about doing an exceptional job for each customer and have a completely satisfied customer of which I am. We had RiverCity come out to clean and tune our AC unit, and they will be back in the fall for our heater. Very professional, takes time to explain things, and super friendly and hard working. We were very pleased with our service.

Amazing folks to work with. We had a dead furnace during the Polar Vortex. Aaron, the technician who came to fix things, did a great job, was really good to work with, made sure things were working, informed us about the issues, shopped around for the best price for a part they didn't have in stock for our older furnace, and worked for hours in a 30 degree basement (late at night too). When the company discovered they had inadvertently overcharged us didn't deposit the check and make us wait for a refund, they tore up the check, and contacted us to work payment out. They are flexible, professional, and very easy to work with. I'll never call another company. If you need work on your furnace I highly recommend River City Heating & Air Conditioning.

Installation by Zach & Aaron they make a very good team both were very considerate of our home and very friendly, they both take immense pride in their work checking with each other to assure accuracy they insist on cleaning up before leaving. Our air conditioner went out over the weekend and I called on Sunday and within a short time they called back. I told them we could wait until the work week and he gave me some things to look at to see if I could reset things. I couldn't. On Monday they sent Cody, a young man who really seemed to know his stuff and was very informative to our many questions. Fixed our air conditioner on the spot and even answered some of our neighbors questions! Our conditioner is 20 years old, we'll be calling River City for the new one when we need it.

Best HVAC team in Winona and beyond. They are responsive and always friendly. Our furnace was in lockout mode upon a return from being out of town. We called around 3pm on a Monday and someone was at our door within 20 minutes. They care about their customers and do great work.

I will give these guys & also one gal 5 stars for their friendliness & the work they do. I am parked out at Prairie Island, a Winona City CG & my A/C quit working. Couldn't find anyone else in town to work on the RV a/c. They told me they knew nothing about RV air conditioners, but would be willing to check the capacitors if I brought the RV to their shop. Capacitors were good, but the unit was leaking freon. My daughter ordered a new a/c, to be shipped to their business. It came in & they replaced the unit this morning. It's cooling great. Thanks, River City employees for being so nice & helpful, & friendly. I'm glad you are in the area & may see you again in the future.

Their customer service is excellent, but I paid 200 for a part you can get on Amazon for 50. If I had the time I probably could have fixed it myself using YouTube. Next time maybe I'll pay the $50 diagnostic fee and I'll take it from there.

Our LP powred Generac electric generator was not starting. We called River City and they came right out. Kevin figured out wha was wrong and fixed it. Just had a new furnace installed by River City and our experience was great from pricing to the crew that did the installation (only took about 3 hours!!!).We got several estimates and River City was able to come in with the lowest bid and created room in their schedule to accommodate us to get it installed before the cold weather hits (2 of the other contractors where 3 weeks out and wouldn't fit us in).I would recommend to anyone to give River City a try you won't be sorry.
