The H&S team did a great job. We had them put in our in floor heat and install a mini split in our new addition. There were some issues from the factory with leaks and Jeremy personally came out to our home three times to fix the leak right away! Great job.

WOW - Zac from H & S did a great job for us. Furnace would not work this past weekend, just as the temps dropped - he was there first thing Monday morning. Turns out I hooked up the new thermostat incorrectly - and he was very nice about explaining that to me. He's coming back to clean our ducts soon - always get great service from H & S!

Wednesday evening our water heater split open and we had a bunch of water in our basement. We got that all cleaned up, called around to a few places, most places were booked for week plus. Called H&S, Jeremy himself came out to the house (they are so busy he couldn't send anyone else), he got here made a plan, called his shop. His shop guy loaded up a new water heater and supplies, they had it replaced in under 2 hours. I highly recommend these guys! They are a little bit more spendy than the competition, but they get the job that same day when everyone else sayd they would be atleast a week if not 2 weeks!! Jeremy even took the time to show us how to start the natural gas water heater. Took the time to double check everything, tested to make sure it was running good with no issues. Highly recommend these guys! We will definitely do more business with them!

Can hardly find the words to express how delighted we were with the service and value we received from H&S. Their technicians were 15 minutes early to install our new furnace. Very friendly and knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. The owner, Jeremy, was super helpful and made sure we were informed at every step in the process of restoring heat to our home. From my first phone call through the installation of my product I experienced nothing but professionalism when working with H&S. I would highly recommend utilizing their amazing service for any of you heating and air conditioning needs. I had H&S install a ceiling mounted garage heater - not only did they do an awesome job with the product installation but they also had an electrician come out to wire power to the unit. Jeremy was able to come service my failed furnace during the first cold snap of the year just a day after I called (it wasn't an emergency). He identified multiple problems with my nearly 20 year-old furnace and had it up and running in about 30 minutes. H&S did the install on the HVAC system for a new build and I've had them out to service the equipment and make minor adjustments off an on and have always had a good experience. Today I had a Tech at my home servicing the AC unit for the season and a storm blew through knocking over the recycle bin and he went out and picked up the debris, no one was home and he definitely could have just walked away. Definitely a testament to the character of people they hire. Will continue to utilize H&S

Furnace went out the day before I was to leave on vacation. H & S was able to order, get the furnace I needed and install it two days later. As always your furnace seems to fails in the worst winter weather ever. This held true for me. Such a comfort to look out my window and see the H & S truck in my driveway ready to install. Install was done professionally, quickly and with quality. If I would have only agreed to get my furnace a year earlier when they replaced the AC unit, I would have saved some money. Nobody’s fault but mine. I would and have recommended H & S to anyone.

H & S installed new furnace and AC units for us in the spring of 2021. We went with a higher-end ground source heat pump after talking to Jeremy about all of our options. While paying more for the equipment up front we trust we will be saving considerable money in the long run through reduced energy bills. Jeremy educated us on all of the options H & S offers. His 2-man install team did good, thorough work, and they paused several times during the 2-day project to gives us advice on how best to use our new equipment. It was a very satisfying overall experience working with H & S. We also felt good about doing business with a company like theirs that gives so much back to the community.

Everyone at H&S was extremely helpful not only in making sure our heat was working again before the winter (it had gone out at the end of the spring) but also making sure we got the best deal! We ran into a few slight problems after the new boiler was installed and H&S was very quick to have someone at our house to work out the issues. The owner Jeremy even came for a follow up a couple weeks after the work was done to ensure that we were in fact happy and satisfied with the work done at our house!

We moved into our home a little over a year ago and have been dealing repairing/replacing just about every appliance since then. We had H&S out a few times to help us with a water/condensation problem with our furnace. They were able to put in some temporary fixes over the course of a few months. Jeremy came out to get a look at our system and advised because of the problems we were experiencing and the age of the systems it would be best to replace going into winter. We went with H&S's "Platinum" package because we wanted something that would not only work well, but be efficient to cut down on energy costs/usage. Nothing but good things to say about H&S! Our furnace went out this February on the coldest day of the month. With two little kids in the house it was super important to get the heat working again. H&S came within 2 hours of calling and the technician did everything to get things working and spent his evening trying to fix it. He truly treated it like it was his own. In the end it made more sense to purchase a new unit and they made the whole process a breeze! Provided us all our options, scheduled promptly, and the install techs did great! Trying to be proactive and not waiting until our unit went down we called H&as to give us estimates on prices and units. Jeremy came out an saw what we had and gave us 4 different units and prices. Not being in a hurry because ours was still functional I told him no hurry but we still had our new furnace/AC unit installed in less than 2 weeks. Installers were prompt, professional and courteous. My furnace went out on the coldest night of the recent cold snap. I was changing HVAC companies and wasn't sure who to call. I checked some reviews and decided on H&S. The woman who answered was very responsive, she said they try to handle people without heat first and would put me on the list. A short time later she called back to say the owner, Jeremy, would come out as soon as he finished his current call. He arrived soon after, was able to diagnose the problem immediately, ran out & got the part and had the furnace running in no time. I truly appreciated the quick response for a new customer, to mention getting straight to the root of the problem & fixing it. I worried the heater was on its last legs, and while it still seems to have a bit more life in it, its age is showing in its performance. Jeremy provided a quote for a replacement and I will definitely use H&S for that job. Highly recommend.

We highly recommend H & S Heating for any heating needs you may have. One evening January, our current heat source failed. Early the next morning we contacted H & S who understood our urgent need for heat. They quickly told us what we need to do, including reaching out to a gas company, and a date was set to install our new furnace and heat pump. Throughout the entire process, the staff was professional, friendly, courteous and always willing to help with any questions or concerns we had. They installed quickly, leaving no mess at all! The installers, Jake and crew, were friendly, polite, knowledgeable and respectful. On the coldest night of the year, around 11pm – over 30 below without the wind chill – it appeared our new furnace had failed, just a day after install was completed. We had not yet been fully trained on how our new system worked and we were not at all familiar with how it all worked and what we could, should, or should not do. We had never had a gas furnace before. We immediately reached out to H & S, left a message and received a callback within minutes. He told us he would be here within an hour. Maybe 15 minutes later, we received another phone call from H & S. He told us he was closer to us and he would be there shortly. He arrived promptly, checked out the system – all was good! He found that the regulator on the outside wall had frozen, he fixed it and showed us how to fix that if it ever happened again. Our newly installed system had not failed us! And neither did H&S. We received yet another call making sure that the technician was assisting us, making sure we did not fall through the cracks. However, after already spending a lot of money on an entirely new system, we now had the added expense of a middle of the night service call. When Jeremy came out again for final payment, he let us know that they would not be charging us for the service call! I truly believe that was the right thing to do, since we had absolutely no clue and at that point no training on the system. But, we did not have to ask for this, he did it because it was the right thing to do. We are extremely happy with our new system and do not hesitate to tell others what a great experience we had with H&S. Thank you to the team at H&S for everything!

AC stopped working this weekend with record high temps. I left a message on Saturday evening and within a half hour I got a call back and a service scheduled. Jeremy showed up for the repair and was excellent to work with. Great value and even better customer service. Highly recommend H&S!

They put in a new furnace and installed AC which before we just had a big wall unit and how nice not to listen to that while costing less to run.

We had A/C issues with the fan not running and pushing almost 90 degrees inside the house. I called H&S at right away in the morning to find out their schedule was already booked out for days, but they didn't want us to go without for too long since it was going to be over 90 drgrees for the week. We were expecting a few more days without a/c until we got a call that they could be out after 5:30 that same day. It was the excellent customer service they provide. She sent the "Gingerman" Jeremy from the videos himself to our rescue. Honestly the most genuine person and company you could ever use. It didnt take long for him to get things running again. We are no longer melting!!! When so many companies are failing in customer service, H & S is a leader and shining light to follow. Nice and cool, very thankful to all at H & S. Jeremy came in late Thursday evening driving 1.5 hours to make sure we had air conditioning for the weekend when it was to be scheduled 95+ degrees! Tom, installer, did a great job putting the new ac/furnace in! Jeremy called multiple times checking ti make sure the Freon was still holding as this was a bandaid prior to receiving the new products! He also checked in during install and came for a final walk through!

We needed a new Furnace and a new AC unit. I had a few different companies come out and Jeremy and H & S was the right choice for us. He explained the different types of Furnaces available as well as how a Heat Pump worked! (I had heard of them, but until that day I didn't really know how they worked!) I had read great reviews about Ruud furnaces and yes, the furnace is SO nice and the efficiency is amazing. Installation ran into a few issues, but they were addressed immediately and that made us very happy. Jeremy made sure he came out before and after to go through everything. I would recommend that you give them a chance if you are thinking about a new furnace. And the best thing about doing that is there was no HARD sell. We had our very old Boiler (probably 40 years) decide to die on a Saturday night during one of the coldest weeks in February. We called H & S. The on-call technician came as soon as he could and diagnosed the issue, spent all day Sunday trying to locate the part (which no longer existed for the model was too old). Jeremy worked with us with payment for a new high-efficiency boiler to be installed starting Monday. Water-based heating systems are not easy or quick installs! The guys worked all day Monday and Tuesday until 10 pm to get the heat up and running. (Our house stayed a cozy 45 degrees during this process.) We had some air bubbles that showed up during the starting of the new system (completely normal), they came back in a timely manner to "tweak" the pipes as needed. Not only did they work very long hours, with little sleep over a very cold weekend, but went above and beyond to help us get our home comfortable again. Jeremy and his crew are the best!

Our furnace needed to be replaced we upgraded and are very pleased with the product! Love the adjustable thermostat with even a WiFi setting. This time of year it’s so nice to open the windows however the temperature drops quickly. With this furnace it heats up the entire house 3x’s faster than our previous furnace. The inspector was impressed and pleased to be able to complete a quick and efficient inspection. The guys that installed were extremely polite, friendly, and tidy. We have always been impressed with each employee who we have encountered over the years. And of course Jeremy (owner) as always was amazing to work with. I smelled gas in my basement yesterday, and called H&S thinking it was coming from my furnace. After speaking with them on the phone, they recommended that I start with my gas company first, and it turns out that we actually had a gas leak in the basement! They were super helpful and even found me the correct number to call and report the gas issue while I was on the phone with them. We've used them in the past and the customer service is always phenomenal-- truly appreciate and trust this company!

On Wednesday my boyfriend and I had a tech from Total Comfort (Home Depot) come out to our home and inspect our furnace because the chart Xcel sent us said we used 350+% more gas than our neighbors and wanted to see if it was because of our furnace and if it would be a relatively easy fix. The tech informed us that we had a cracked heat exchanger and a small gas leak. He gave us an estimate of roughly $4550 after all rebates. Something didn't sit quite right with me so I called my step dad who is friends with Jeremy, the owner of H&S. Jeremy sent someone out to look at our furnace on Thursday. To our utter amazement, the tech from H&S informed us that the total comfort LIED to us. He never opened the furnace, never looked at anything. We DID NOT have a cracked anything or a gas leak. Not only did H&S get to us in a timely manner, they were honest. They didn't play on the new home owner fears. They SAVED us $4550! H&S has earned my respect and all of my heating/cooling business for as long as I own a home! Thank you so much!

We decided to go with H&S based on recommendations of family and friends when our AC unit stopped working. We had them replace our AC and furnace and were impressed with everything up until the install. The technician placed a drain line right in the middle of our laundry room that made it difficult for us to use our laundry sink. To complicate matters they left a mess and didn't glue the pipe. about a week later we realized this when our carpets were soaking wet and traced the puddle back to the condensation line which had been knocked loose. The response from H&S is why we're giving them a five star review. They fixed the problem, redid the line so it wasn't in the middle of the floor and then took care of the restoration from the water damage. What could have been a disaster or really negative experience for us turned out to be positive based on their response. Sure it wasn't ideal, but I get that mistakes can happen and I was overjoyed that they went to such lengths to make it right. Living up to their name I'm very happy and satisfied and they have a customer for life and a strong advocate. You won't regret doing business with this company.

Awesome service. We had a gas furnace that hadn't been working, and the landlord wasn't sure why. He called H&S because his usual guy wasn't reliable or getting back to us. You could tell he just cared about what was best for our family and not trying to oversell us something we really didnt need. When it came time to installation, we were told 2 and a half days, but the 2 tech's got in done in 2 days. They were great with everything. Explained a lot of what they were doing and why they were doing it, adjusted to our requests on the fly, trouble shot an issue when it was late in the evening on their last day ready to go home. Very impressed. Also, we had an issue with the wifi thermostat about a week after the install. 2 guys came out within an hour. Stayed about an hour or more to make sure the new thermostat was working, then proceeded to make sure we were happy with the furnace and heat pump and opened things up to make sure everything was in perfect working order. I can't recall having a better experience with a contractor ever. Thanks Jeremy and H&S! We are definitely happy and satisfied.

These guys are literal lifesavers. Having never used them or any other HVAC service company before I reached out to them on a Thursday night right before the 4th of July weekend when the AC unit on my home started acting up. Not only did they stay in constant communication with us that night via phone and facebook but when their Tech got overwhelmed with calls the owner himself turned around on the way to his cabin to drive an hour back to work on my AC unit at midnight that night even though it was not the brand they sold nor had they ever worked on our unit before. Eventually when the old unit failed they rushed a replacement job for us because my significant other has health issues that made it a struggle to last without. Through the entire ordeal they were helpful, punctual and our new replacement unit is one of the single best and consistent AC/HeatPump that I have ever encountered our house is the perfect temperature all day long. I waited to review until we had gotten some operational time not to just be wowed by their customer service. Jeremy installed a Phenomenal Aire Cold Plasma air cleaning system on our furnace. The system produces Ions that cling to contaminates in the air which makes them large and heavy allowing the furnace filter to trap them. I couldn't say for certain that the system worked until we had heavy smoke in the area due to wildfires in northern MN and Canada. I am very allergic to smoke and therefore sensitive to the smell. I could see the smoke haze outside, however, I could not smell the smoke inside the house. The furnace/AC pulls fresh air in from outside the house when the AC comes on, so the only way possible that the smoke smell isn't getting to me is that the Phenomenal Aire cleaning system actually works! I trust H&S with all my HVAC needs, they are the best in the business.

I bought an existing home that is 20 years old. My wife and I decided we should have the AC and Furnace inspected due to them being original equipment. Since we saw H& S stickers on it (from previous repairs) we decided to call them. I asked for, and was given a quote of 100.00 each for AC and furnace inspection , which would be waived if, any repairs were needed. The technician - Austin came at appointed time, and conducted the work. I spoke with him about after the AC work was complete, and he said everything checked out, but needed 1 pound of freon. I left for work, and he completed his Furnace check, which checked out, but he did pull out a dead mouse ( thanks for that). He then submitted a bill of 561.00 to my wife, who , unfortunately paid it. Upon learning of this charge I called and spoke to a nice lady ( office manager) who , informed me that the difference of 361.00 is the charge for 1 POUND OF FREON. ! Now to top it off, she says that the tech actually undercharged me because my system uses R22 and he charged me for a lesser freon type. She was not willing to amend their charge, and instead, kicked it to the owner Jeremey. I am awaiting a call from Jeremey. If we can come to some sort of mutually accepted charge for the freon added ,I will amend this rating, but right now... I say buyer beware of H &S . As for me it does not stand for Happy or Satisfied! Edit to my original post Jeremey the owner contacted me and allowed my to share my concerns. We discussed appropriate communication, and process in adding charges to a job, that the customer didnt know about. We even agreed after Jeremy agreed to give me some partial credit for th work, to , have a meeting on a new system , seeing that my unit is 20 years old. The only thing worse than having to pay for heat/AC in Minnesota is having the work done poorly. Recently H&S did an unbelievable job re-fitting a poorly installed furnace and replacing an in-floor boiler unit which had twice melted our electrical disconnect. Doing this required them to both remove and reinstall the existing furnace in an undersized utility closet along with replacing the entire in-floor heating manifold which had been inaccessible due to the previous work. Neither of which three other heating/AC companies could do. They did all this (new copper sweated manifold with digital solenoids, pump, high efficiency boiler, plus replacing the water with ecologically friendly antifreeze) and still coming in THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS below their original estimate (which was already less than what we paid for the previous piss-poor work).
