We interviewed 5 other HVAC companies and picked Ditter because of the price, extras they gave us, like a new high-end thermostat and their extra warranties. The 2 installers, Javorita and Danny were extremely hard workers, down to business and friendly. They were both very professional and did the installation in one day as promised. Tried to do maintenance myself and got a error code. Called for a appointment from Ditter a company I worked with several years back, they came out next day and resolved my heating issue. Barry the tech was very helpful and explained where I may have gone wrong in my attempts without making me feel to bad. Will call in future when issues come up, thanks for the quick turn around. The only issue I had was in using the online appointment I was sent a email that I answered with a go ahead and waited during my appointed time but no one came. I still got a appointment in the afternoon same day which was fine because of the warm day. So I recommend if you use online appointment call in morning to check that you are on the books. Barry helped explain the issue with people making appointments for several companies and not letting Ditter know they canceled which was not the case in my circumstances. Thanks Barry.

Great technicians, our system was old and the airflow lacked the force to provide enough heating/cooling to our upstairs living area. They installed a new heating and AC unit and fabricated custom metal ducts and damper to allow us to adjust the airflow. Great improvement in steady temperature! Would definitely recommend them!

The sales person was very thorough in his explanations of options , pricing, and a recommended furnace and A/C system for our needs. A quote was given to us on-site. The price was right, and Ditter handles all of the rebate paperwork for you. We approved the offer and a call was made by Ditter to schedule our new units about 2 weeks later. The installation crew was hard-working, very courteous, and gave us frequent updates on progress. The installation was very professional. I was quite impressed with Ditter Heating and Cooling Inc. and give them a high recommendation. The new HVAC system works great!

Our experience with this company from start to finish was outstanding. My rental property had an airconditioner failure during the very hot spell of 90 deg F plus temperature over several days. I was making desperate phone calls on Friday to see if some Hating/AC firm could install a complete new Furnace/AC in that unit quickly. My serious appreciation to their employee Steve, who put my name in their field estimator's appointment book for Monday afternoon appointment. Tim did come to look at the project as he was scheduled on Monday and provided me with the quote, made sure all parts were in stock and scheduled the install appointment for Friday. Everything aftwer that went smooth. The installers were friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions that I had about the products, operation etc. Left the place clean before leaving. I have come to TRUST Ditter Cooling and Heating exclusively. Nate is my absolute GO TO guy. He tells it straight with no BS and is able to efficiently complete the work. I have multiple rental properties along with my personal home and they have been able address and repair any facet of HVAC. Our Personal home is log type with a boiler system that needed replacing 5 years ago. While unusual for a private household, Nate and the team handled it with ease. Our in floor heat and zone heating system works great. One of our rental properties needed duct work for a new bathroom in a house built in 1962. Not a problem for Ditter. Our other rental has had the Central AC replaced by Ditter 18 months ago and works great. The furnace has been incredibly problematic at that second location but Ditter has done what they could to help. I will not lie, it has been painful fixing this 2011 furnace (Carrier built a DISASTEROUs MODEL during this period (since then discontinued I'm told)). I pressed Shelly at Ditter for help and she responded by contacting Carrier to get Mfg. assistance rather just ignore and bill me. That has gone a LONG WAY. Thank you Shelly! I write very few reviews but this worthy of the time to take for Ditter. They absolutely R O C K !!!

Service,communication and price was excellent. I did do a lot of research, as the purchase of a new boiler/furnace is quite costly. Ditter was the least expensive and the professionalism during the visit to give me an estimate, was by far the best of the four companies I assessed. Staff was extremely knowledgeable during installment, and have provided me with thorough education and information on how the boiler works. Our AC was dying and had our Home Service Plan technicians out twice. They did a good job but ultimately there is not much you can do about a failing 20 yr old compressor. I got three bid for the replacement and Ditter was the best bid. They also recommended first to get their tech out and see if a repair would be a cheaper option, but he had the same conclusion as the HSP guy. They came an installed a new unit, on time and with the high degree of professionalism. I am very pleased with their sales and service team and with the quality installation.

This company is rock solid. I’ve had two residential and one commercial unit installed in the last 3 years. They’ve done excellent work and stand behind it. Nate serviced our furnace today and was relentless at solving a problem that even the manufacturer’s service rep couldn’t figure out. Technician came out the same day as we had a loud noise coming from the furnace. Although once he arrived the noise wouldn't present itself, he did clean out the furnace and replace the filter. He was very friendly and efficient. I guess it was a mystery as to the noise.

We had such a great experience with Ditters. Our furnace went out during the night. I called early in the morning to set up an appointment. They came out within 2 hours. Unfortunately they didn't have the part needed to fix it that day. They set up a heater for us that kept our home warm until the part could be shipped to them and put in our furnace . It took 2 days for this ,which in the meantime my husband and I were diagnosed with covid. We called to inform them of this. They with all of their precautions in regards to covid came and installed this in our furnace. They are a top notch company and we would highly recommend them! Thank you Barry!

My Air Conditioner stopped cooling. I called Ditter and spoke with Nate. He explained what may be going on with my AC then came out and checked various parts until he found the problem. We had an amazing experience today with Ditter! Last year we had issues with our cooling system and went with another HVAC team and we were charged over $800!!! We called Ditter and they sent someone out first thing this morning and uncovered the same issue with coolant. The total charge today including the labor fee to come out was only $280. They spent the time to double check for leaks. Within an hour our house was cool again.

We came in to our salon and definitely had no heat going on today. Called a few companies and none of them seems to care about our urgent situation. Ditter was recommended by one client who happened to be in our salon putting up with the 60 degree inside. She said she has used them many times and they never let her down. I was looking for someone to install a vent and return in a new basement bedroom. After calling around I quickly found out that other vendors in the area will charge a trip fee upwards of $100 just to give an estimate(of course they tell you the trip charge will be included in the work, but at that point you're already in $100). Ditter came out for a free estimate, had a flexible timeline for the work and made sure I understood everything about the job. The techs were on time, knowledgeable, friendly, respectful and most importantly, they did great work. Over the weekend, I noticed the temperature was a bit off in our son's room upstairs. They were back out first thing on Monday, and said they weren't leaving until I was comfortable with how everything was working. I can't recommend them enough.

I often see recommendation requests for HVAC Service, and wanted to add my suggestion to the list - Ditter Cooling and Heating out of Hamel. As often happens in life, I was presented with the unexpected. My AC unit decided to quit just about the time my HOA decided to have all screens removed for repair.I was looking at 7-10 days before screens were returned. Fast forward, I discovered a number of great reviews for Ditter and called them immediately. They sent someone out late that day, Tuesday, with a tentative installation schedule for Monday. On Thursday morning, I received a call informing me they could be out on Friday morning. The installation is complete, and I couldn't be more pleased. From the moment I called their office, up until the last service technician left my home, I remained confident that I was in good hands. My initial contact, Shelley, made a great first impression with her warmth and helpfulness.Barry, who came to my home to assess the problem, was professional, personable, patient, easily answering every question I asked. Next, I was in communication (email and phone) with Tim Underhill, who handles Residential Projects and who was quick to provide an estimate and to contact me regarding the installation schedule. No time was spent waiting for anyone. Joe and Eric were right on time to install the AC unit, treated my home like their own (with cloths to protect the floors and stairs), and went about their jobs for 4 hours. They, too, were professional, personable, and patient. I'm so grateful to have found Ditter and will certainly have them on my very short list of VIP's.

7/2015 - I made an appointment with Ditter and another company when deciding what equipment I should buy and who should install it. After meeting with Ditter it was an easy decision. No heavy sales; just education. You get an instant feeling of honesty and expertise. I chose a new Lennox furnace and air conditioner and I'm very pleased with the units. A young man installed my furnace and took so much pride in his work. He actually liked his job and it showed! He and his team were curteous, neat, professional and funny! I enjoyed both days of installation with them! After a few weeks, Sales came by to check the installation and make sure I understood how to operate my new equipment. I've had Ditter repair my air-conditioner many times, but they did something for me many years ago that is worth noting. I had a major first floor remodel done and I needed a gas line moved about a foot. Nobody wanted to help me with that tiny job! It was in the day when everyone had tons of work......Ditter told me they'd help me and they did!!

We finally have the right temperature in the different levels, the fans are super quiet and the new panel allows us to have the settings on the correct modes. My furnace wasn't working well, and with -25F on the docket overnight, I was very concerned!! Ditter came within 3 hours of my call, fixed the problem, showed me how I could fix that same issue myself in the future, and then also fixed my humidifier at the same time, as they had the parts with them. Very friendly, never talked down to me, and very reasonable considering the emergency nature of the situation. Will be using them again!

This company is amazing! They saved us. Our a/c went out on the hottest weekend in July. They responded to us on a day that most companies had off, was able to give us a quote and schedule us for only a few days out - on a holiday weekend. As always, Allen from Ditter did a fantastic job in maintaining our annual maintenance of our furnace and AC. He also check a duct to see why we were getting no heat or air. It was hard to see as it was located under the bed that had a leg over the duct. It turns out the duct was closed....Allen was so polite in telling us that it was hard to see because of its location. Oh, well, when you get older, things seem to appear different from what they are. Don't know if they have a name for it, but I'm sure they do......

I would not recommend Ditter. They installed a furnace and AC unit 10 days ago. I phoned them yesterday because the AC wasn't turning on. They wanted me to wait for a repair/service appointment, but I insisted that they check it immediately since it was just installed. Tim, the original salesman, came out later in the day and had to re-splice/rewire because it was not wired correctly. Today I realize that the fan for the furnace is not working. I phoned and left a message for Tim asking that it be looked over and that I would like the installation to be checked and verified that it works. No response. I will update as this progresses. **It's been sorted, everything's working fine

If you need furnace/AC or boiler work done for whole house heated water and floor heating Ditter is the one to call. I called and spoke with Tim Underhill and he answered everyone of my questions I had and quoted a fair price for my furnace and boiler. I did my research and nknew what i needed done. I had 4 other very well know companies come in and bid then I heard of Ditter from a friend. I usually don't throw other companies under the bus but here it is. HERO, GenzRyan,Dean's, and Centerpoint energy all quoted me double what I was quoted from Ditter. I even showed Tim the quote and he said he could never justify a quote like that. He educated me on what my HOUSE needed not just what was in my house previously like all other companies did. Know in this little review of the company isn't much but I loved working with Ditter and Tim and will never have to search for any other company to take care of my AC/Heating needs, EVER....... For many years Ditter Cooling & Heating has serviced my whole family in their needs of heating and air. I myself have just become a first time home owner and needed an air exchanger for help with condensation of windows and overall air quality of the home. I had called a few local companies to get quotes. I then called Ditter Cooling & Heating. Explained my concerns and my situation. I got a quote on an air exchanger, an air purifier and a whole new high efficiency furnace (as this house is 20 years old with original furnace of only 80% efficiency rating). The quote I received was on a new Lennox HE furnace (top of the line brand), whole home air purifier system and a Venmar (top of the line brand) air exchanger. For all 3 top of the line pieces of equipment were less than quotes I had received on just an air exchanger alone from other companies! Not to mention the furnace alone has a 10 year parts and labor warranty! It was simply a “no brainer” price and solution! Their price could not compare to that of others…they cannot be beat! To say Ditter Cooling and Heating’s price, quality and dedication are unbeatable is really an understatement. These folks go above and beyond to make sure EVERYTHING from parts to service is 110%+! I cannot say enough great things about these guys and I am VERY hard to please. Bottom line is that you cannot go wrong with Ditter Cooling & Heating!

I very much appreciated the time he took to show me how to change the humidifier filter along with showing me how it tied in with the thermostat. He was very patient and knowledgeable. Last winter, I used Ditter Cooling & Heating to completely remove my existing hot water heater & thru the wall Cooling system and installed a new central HVAC system. This required their time to determine size of system, designed a new duck system for level cooling/heating in all 4 bedrooms in our two level house built in 1977 - which was a challenge with our unusual walls. My existing system was removed from inside/outside house. They took their time to make sure it worked well, answered my questions so I understood the system and they showed up everyday until project was completely finished. Great job and follow up, so I would recommend them to work on anyone's project.
