We just had Blue Ox install a new furnace and AC unit. Jeff and the team did an awesome job. He was friendly, on time and professional! They got it all done in 1 day and were conscious of the fact that I was working in the next room even though I told them not to worry about me working. I would absolutely recommend Blue Ox! I do also have to give a shout our to Mike on the sales side. He was amazing!! He made us feel comfortable with our decision and laid out all of the different options we had. If you are active duty, retired or a veteran, ask about their Legendary Honors Club it pretty much what sealed the deal for me!! Great value for free!

Our furnace was deemed unsafe and we had to find a replacement fast as it is winter. Our sales rep Brian was personable, knowledgeable and honest. We were given a quote one day and able to have the furnace installed 2 days later. The installers were friendly, on time and very thorough. Dan and Aaron turned up as scheduled and immediately got going on my project to replace the furnace and AC for my home. We first had a very thoughtful discussion about some unresolved decisions, but once we answered all the questions they got after it. They were very courteous and even worked around some virtual meetings where we needed it to be quiet in the house for a bit. Finished the job in one day and the new system is running great. Very highly recommended.

Alan was great! Came in got right to work! This was the smoothest work I have ever had done in the house. Alan and his assistant were awesome. They kept an eye out for our 2 cats making sure they didn't let them out( can't say that about a lot of companies!) Very pleasant and quite funny. He even gave me a few tips for maintenance I could do on my own to help the efficiency. I also bought the maintenance package because they charge half as much as other companies I have used. Their tech took a very close look at what was going on, worked through different fixes, and found the issue that previous company did not. Apparently my problem was a quick fix, which came with a great amount of info from my Tech and a great piece of mind that my system was ready for a good winter of use. I just signed up to purchase a furnace from blue ox this morning. I have bids from 2 of their competitors but decided to go with them because of the service I received from their technician Zach Mix. He initially looked at my unit back in December when I was looking for another opinion. He was thorough in his explanation and really helped calm my nerves. I did have to replace the capacitor at that point. Well not even two months later my furnace decided something else was going to break. It is a 13 years old furnace. This time it was the blower and it just didn't make sense to keep putting money into it considering the age. It was again Zach that came to inspect it. He talked my through the options and was very kind through the whole process. I decided to meet with the sales team the next morning to purchase the furnace. Afterwards I received a call from Zach to check in with me and making sure I didn't have other concerns. It really showed me the level of customer service and care and I hope Zach can be recognized for this. Thanks again! See you in the spring for my AC tune up.

They installed a new furnace. They ran into a few issues but made them work. (Existing pipes and new pipes were different sizes). The initial sales rep Jon was good and accommodating. He did not price the correct unit so we received an upgrade (venting issue so we went bigger). The description of the outtake pipes was a little vague and are a little cumbersome in the backyard but it works. Jon throw in a free duct cleaning which was nice. The install took 9.5 hours instead of 4 but we have heat. Overall 9/10. Thank you to the install guys.

It is now on 2022 and after explaining to them that I felt the one upstairs wasn't doing the right job they came out assured me it was doing what it was supposed to do but when I wasn't satisfied they replaced it with a brand new one! Quote was literally $5,000 less than OneHour for the SAME PRODUCT. I guess the other company thought that since I'm a young homeowner, I'd also be an idiot. Anyway, Blue Ox was timely and had a fair price for new HVAC installation. The technician was knowledgeable and took the time to measure my home's dimensions in order to best choose a system for us. He answered all our questions and was willing to wheel and deal a bit with us in order to seal the deal. So far, no issues with the installation. We're satisfied with the provided service.

I want to say my experience with Blue Ox was very good from my initial sit down with Jordan. He was professional and spent at least an hour taking measurements and reviewing my current installation before we discussed the recommended size gas furnace and AC unit i needed. I had been getting quotes from other vendors so I has an idea where I wanted to be cost wise. I ended up doing some hard negotiating with Jordan and went from a looker to a buyer within a two hour time frame. I did the buy a furnace get one free A/C unit with installation costs, that seems good on paper but we all know nothing is free. If your in the market for anew system give Blue Ox a call and maybe Jordan can make a same day sell. I am an engineer and do purchasing so I am one to search for the best deal and normally don't do on the spot purchasing but I felt based on other quotes I had in hand that Blue Ox offered the most options for the price. The installation wen great, it was installed less than a week from the day I paid the 50% down. The guys aaron and ben? did a very professional job and put up with me asking questions and suggestions. Hope this helps others make a decision. I included photos of my old system that worked so I donated it to a young family that will use it. Thanks

Dan is a true professional, I had an error code on my 2 year old furnace installed by Blue Ox. Come to find out I should have switched my air filters sooner. It was blacker then black with buildup. Dan got my furnace up and running using an air filter I had laying around from my last furnace and ordered up 2 new filters for me since it was a more specialty item. He also put tags on all my valves so now I know which valve services what appliance. Amazing customer service. I also didn’t know that they have UV lights that will kill germs and viruses that they put in the furnace ductwork. I’m definitely gonna be getting one of those ASAP. Cannot recommend Dan and the team at Blue Ox Heating and Air enough.

Called Pat with Blue Ox after our Central AC system totally froze up and quit working with all the heat this summer. Pat has worked on our system in the past so it was great being able to call someone I already knew provides the best service ever for home heating and cooling. I was astounded to hear he was willing and able to look at the system later that same day with such short notice. Pat quickly diagnosed the problem as a leaky evaporator which meant the system needed to be replaced but I was expecting that anyway since it was 25 years old. Turns out our furnace needed some work also but it was nice to know we could replace the AC system but keep the older furnace and tune it up just like new. I was simply amazed when Pat said he could install the new system the very next day ! This is somebody who knows how to care for his customers and he is magnificent at it ! The install went very smooth, quick and efficient ! The technician checked a lot of different technical aspects of the system which are important but have never been looked at by other service personnel because they didn’t care about going the extra mile to make sure the system is performing perfectly. I was blown away by such great service which is so hard to find these days. Pat was very polite, professional and knowledgeable . He walked me through everything and explained very thoroughly what was going on. I was very satisfied with the service and would highly recommend Blue Ox heating and air especially Pat to anyone who needs work on their HVAC system. Marcus was great! Kody: At first I was disappointed that no one showed up on Thursday morning April 7th so I filled out a comment on line on Friday. I was told when the tech could not complete the installation of the thermostat on Wednesday 4/6, that he would put a note regarding the thermostat in his report He said it was working manually so I could adjust the heat and would have heat. Asked if that was okay, and I said “no” I paid extra for a wireless so it had to be fixed but I understood that it wasn’t his fault he could not get it to work and it was too late to call for tech support. I could tell he was disappointed also, and he had already been at my house for a long time. I told him to go ahead and leave and to just make sure he put the issue in his report so the office would be alerted to the problem and they would call and send some one over to finish the installation. Like I mentioned before, he was not at fault, he really tried his best. And he was so nice and professional.

Tim was very kind and professional. He arrived early in the appointment window (8 am-12 pm), and he was very open and transparent. We asked him to take a look at a radiator that wasn't heating, and he quickly identified a failed valve. It would be $1,000 to replace right now, but Tim told us how we could keep the radiator safe and the rest of our heating system in working order without doing the repair now. He also let us know that we could do the same repair much more affordably in the spring or summer (when the heating system isn't in operation). I greatly appreciated his honesty and that he never pressured us to do the repair.

We DID end up purchasing new because it made the most sense in our situation but fortunately the money put into fixing our unit was applied towards cost of our new units so money was not lost which I’d never heard of a business doing but was SO grateful. And Mike J. was so amazing to work with as well for the purchasing aspect of our Blue Ox experience. He was on time, professional, super knowledgeable, friendly and honest as well-my husband and I never felt pressured one way or another. Mike asked multiple questions related to our home specifically and you could tell he was really making sure he had all details possible, he was able to show us different options that would benefit us the most & was able to explain in an easy to understand way what the differences were. We ended up purchasing both furnace and a/c units due to BOGO since furnace is 18 years old anyway and with the finance options available, we were able to do this while still feeling comfortable financially. Electric installer left our sliding door that leads to the utility room unhinged and open. Wire from the humidifier left loose, humidifier cover left off, and loose screw left in the open. All of this is not a big deal but it makes sense to mention now that Im leaving a review since our new A/C (installed in the winter/first time starting today) doesnt turn on. I was assured that even though it was installed in the winter that it will turn on. Someone is coming over in a few days and Im assuming that it will eventually work. Update: Brian reached out and I was able to get the A/C turned on. They also completed the new unit check/added more refrigerant, and replaced a broken fuse box near the A/C. Ultimately everyone was very helpful with answering questions and taking the time to explain. Revising review to 5 stars based on the customer service.

They have great rates already, but then once you combine that with their VIP program for free maintenance activities and discounts it's hard to justify any other service. The work was done in less than a day, the service guys working on it were really friendly and answered all of my questions and I've had zero issues with the system. Blue Ox was great! They came out and fixed our 37 year old AC unit when we got our first heatwave for just the service fee. Others were weeks out! We also used them to replace our AC unit and everything went smoothly. Professional, on time, cleaned up, etc. Our technician even removed an existing humidifier system that didn’t work and cleaned everything out from mold. The only thing that I disliked is they will put stickers over EVERYTHING with their branding. Our furnace is completely covered now (they didn’t replace), our electrical box(!!), etc. Wish I would have known that to stop since I absolutely hate that. I now have sticker residue over things they had no right to put things on since I’ve tried to rip them off. Now I’ve got scrubbing in my future to clean that up, which is very annoying. Wish they would have asked before or put magnets instead. Overall fantastic and I would use again and recommend, but keep your huge stickers off my stuff ;)

Also the product quality is pretty mind blowing. Having the right size furnace for our home has fixed a lot of issues. They will be out again to start up the a/c when it’s time!

I went to turn on my a/c last week in anticipation of the upcoming heat. Unfortunately I found that it wasn't working. Got on the phone with Blue Ox for the first time and she was able to get me in for an appointment fast. The repairs techs, Ken and Jon, gave me a call during the time they were scheduled for and gave me enough notice to leave work and get home to meet them. They quickly assessed my system and gave me a couple of options and their expert advice. Because of the age of my unit and the cost of the repair, I decided to purchase a new unit. Ken took care of the scheduling of my install. Very fortunately for me, they had just had an opening so they could get me in the next day. Again, Tad, my installer for the day, called in advance and arrived during the period promised. He took every step to keep my home clean by putting down tarps, he called in extra guys to preserve as much of the vegetation around my unit as possible, he advised me on other things to consider as part of the install and once done, he went the extra step of repositioning my inside unit and piping (previous work had not been to high standards) and he filled out my rebate form for me and explained everything he did once finished. Can't recommend the Blue Ox team, Tad, Ken and Jon enough. I know who I'll be calling for all my HVAC needs in the future! Thank you Blue Ox!

I hired Blue Ox for an A/C tune-up. Ken Skurka was fantastic! He took the panels off my outdoor A/C unit, and the panels were completely clogged with cottonwood. He cleaned all the panels thoroughly with a hose. He serviced my A/C and then helped me track down the sources causing high humidity in the house. Walt, the inspector is very knowledgable, kind, and concerned with our safety first and foremost. This is our first home and I cannot say how thankful we were to have this taken care of in such a comprehensive, professional, and friendly manner. Truly a 5 star experience. I knew my furnace was "running on fumes" for a year, and sure enough the motor froze on the coldest day so far, in December, below zero. A technician was able to come out that same afternoon, after he explained what was needed, I knew I needed to follow up on a previous quote I had from a couple months earlier. A motor in my furnace was making a squealing noise the past couple of weeks and I decided it would be best to have it looked since the weather is -30 below. The HVAC technician listened to the noise and explained that the inducer motor on the furnace was going out and that it needed to be replaced. The technician did a thorough job fixing the engine and inspecting the furnace and discovered the capacitor to the blower motor was going bad and had that replaced. The knowledge I learned from him showing me around the rest of the system will definitely make up for the expensive fuse. He left the old one so I can grab some extras online. The tech was able to show up same day, actually within about a half an hour of my phone call. I know this isn’t normal, but it was a great benefit to today’s call. The tech arrived on time, Aaron was his name, very friendly and very knowledgeable. The system unfortunately seemed to repair itself before he arrived, but he walked me through several scenarios and gave me a thorough education of what I was dealing with. Very friendly, helpful!

The technician who came out did a good job with the cleaning of my furnace. However, I was disappointed with the process of the certification, which was an additional $199. They had told me on the phone that the entire process of cleaning and certifying would take 2 hours, but the whole thing took more like 30 minutes. My “certification” was not really any sort of certificate at all. I’m not sure what I expected but it was just a handwritten checklist that had some specs on there as far as the temp the furnace was blowing out, etc. Also, at the same time I had my furnace done, I was going to have them install my new water softener. However, the trip charge for that was $89 (it needed to be a different tech than the one who did the furnace) a s they couldn’t even give me a ballpark estimate for the installation, so I cancelled that portion.

I called to have noisy AC checked and the technician was able to determine that the noise issue was caused by a need for duct cleaning, which I will be scheduling later this summer since they are very busy right now with AC repairs. Problem likely caused by my replacement of all the vent covers in the house while painting. Cleaned lint and dog hair behind vents and likely caused material to drop into the ductwork, which was causing the noise. I was only charged the service call since no repairs were made but will be having Blue Ox back to do the cleaning. Very satisfied with the service. Was called and texted twice during the day to give me estimated time of arrival.

Brad did a great job installing my new furnace. He arrived on time and did a very good job cleaning the area after the job was completed. I was told by the salesman who sold me the unit that it would be a four hour job and that i would receive a free WiFi thermostat. Instead I had to give the electricians a two hour window after the unit was installed. So with it all said and done, it turn out to be an 8.5 hour day with a regular programmable thermostat installed. Oh well what can I say? It's warm in my home and no problems so far. Thanks again Brad! You get 5 stars!
