They saved us! Our furnace went out on a day where the temps were dropping to -15 overnight. I called around and a lot of shops (understandably) couldn’t fit us in because of Christmas. The owner was the first of three shops we had out to assess the problem and give us a quote. He was knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. They also moved a few things around so we wouldn’t be without a furnace for more than one night. The installers were professional, fast, and kind. They remembered our names which was nice too. They’re amazing!

If you’re not sure, no over-the-phone or online estimates means they’ll do so only in-person. Despite being asked specifically how much it would cost to swap a $25 furnace part (limit switch), after they showed up, expected over another $200 on top of the $89 service visit fee.

I contacted Bloomington Heating and Air to do a massive relocation of ductwork as well as install new ac/furnace system as part of a basement remodel. They were very flexible with what I wanted to do and made the most efficient use of space when relocating everything. Ivan and his team (Cory, Chase, and company) are rockstars. They were professional, confident, and efficient. They're also very reasonable in terms of price compared to their competition. I highly recommend them.

I use Bloomington Heating and Air for annual HVAC maintenance and more recently had them replace a furnace. Their team did a beautiful job installing and setting up the new equipment. The system is quieter with more consistent temperatures throughout the house. Everyone from the owner, customer service and techs are a pleasure to deal with. Scott was very responsive and got me cooled when my AC died in 90 degree weather. Once I decided to replace the 20 year old furnace and AC, Janis shared a bid, offered choices and was equally responsive, friendly and caring. She kept me apprised along the way. Ivan and Matt delivered a professional installation and were both very pleasant to work. Called them for a second opinion after another company quoted mr 1800 to fix my ac. They fixed it for $930. I sprung for the maintenance plan and got 15% off and they'll be back twice more for tune ups, came out to $1010 in total. :) Good service, very friendly and professional.

I was having troubles with my A/C that was installed about a year ago. Made a call to Bloomington Heat and Air and they sent out a repairman that same afternoon. Unfortunately it was a Friday and they didn't have the part on the truck. Some how Scott came up with the part and installed it the next day. Unfortunately that part wasn't the only problem with my unit so again Scott did his magic and got the part on a Sunday morning and came over and had my a/c running shortly after. Scott and his crew went way beyond what other companies would even consider doing to get my air fixed on the hottest weekend we've had this season

Fast, reliable, courteous... Technician arrived inside the window, diagnosed my problem in 15 minutes (6 of that was my explanation of the problem and waiting for my thermostat to kick in). As per usual, the required part was not on the truck, however The tech ran back to the shop and was back in 10 minutes. I had AC 5 minutes later. Would recommend.

Called late at night was unable to get emergency service but the company called me first thing at 7am in the morning and my AC was fixed by 8am. Good ownership and quality. I understand we all work and everyone is not always available when we need them but the incredible response time and fix without all the bs the next day was stellar. 10/10.

On Saturday of Labor Day weekend, my downstairs neighbor noticed a water stain on her ceiling. I was afraid that the problem might be caused by my A/C, and within a few hours, Scott came out to investigate. After confirming the A/C was OK, he spent some extra time helping me look for other potential leaks. Since I'm on the Comfort Savings Plan, the emergency service call was a very reasonable $89.

My first emergency was in February when my heat went out. Of course I figure this out outside of business hours of normal places but them being "24 hours" I called them. They said that they do not service boilers. So I took it upon myself to disassemble my boiler and luckily just switch out the thermocouple. Second, today, my air conditioning was making a rattling noise. I left a message and they responded back that they do not service any equipment if it's in an attic. So I took it upon myself to crawl up in the attic, check the blower motor and solve the problem of unsecure sheet metal on the unit. Looking on their website, I see many guarantees, awards, whathaveyou, however no obvious section that clarifies the specific equipment they service. Of course I could give them 1 star being hot and sweaty from being in the attic, but they called back relatively quickly, my only concern is that this apparent emergency-capable service isn't concerned with all heating and cooling equipment.

Absolutely beyond perfect. Solved our no-air-pressure issue in one visit and even threw in a humidifier pad replacement and solved a rattling noise in our inducer just while they were there. Barely even $100 later, we're thrilled. Even our dog loved them! Ten stars!

I am a maintenance manager for rental property and I am amazed at how hard it is to find competent, reasonable and helpful contractors...just to get a a fire extinguisher refilled took at least 6 phone calls which would have been more if I didn’t hang up on the guy insisting he couldn’t find time to do his job within my scheduled hours and had to called his boss to set him straight... Anyway, I’d seen the reviews for this local company and gave them a call...I left a message realizing this time of year they were probably busy. Later that day, I received a call back saying they had a tech just come in the office and could stop by within the hour. I asked if we could be billed and they said it was no problem and their service charge was a lot less then the other company I called charged who wouldn’t even come out unless I prepaid and it would probably take a week... So Steve shows up within an hour, with a smile and can do attitude. He put on shoe covers and went straight to work, fixing my problem immediately and he simply couldn’t have been nicer... I’m still kind of flabbergast at this experience since most of the contractors I work with are more work than help. I spend way too much time fixing their messes...and I’ve literally been told by them, “most people don’t care” about their shoddy work or “I should expect things to get broken when they work”...🤨 I was a little hesitant to even write this review because I want to keep this unicorn of a company a secret so they never change...but I do believe in giving credit where credit is due and if even 1/2 of the contractors did work with this kind of integrity and helpfulness, my job would be a joy! Thank you.
