A member of my family is a contractor which focuses on higher end remodels. I asked him whom I can use that will provide excellent service for replacing our HVAC system, he recommended Binder. Had them come out last winter / spring for a quote on a Heat Pump system for our home. They came in a decent price with the equipment that I wanted. The install took place a few weeks later. They had to come out a couple times to finish up and clean up a few lingering issues, but were straight forward and made it right in the end. The system doesn't do everything we were promised, but what it lacks isn't going to affect us. Also had to follow up on them supplying the information for rebates as well as leveling the compressor and replacing a shield they damaged on it. Requested another quote this fall for adding onto the system, took a couple weeks to get the quote, which came in much higher than expected. Appears to be a supply issue. Requested some changes to the quote to see if we can drop the price a bit, no reply after a week. So holding off for now, but overall, happy with our experiences with Binder, even if I had to follow up with them more than I like.

I had an entirely new ductless A/C system installed with Binder. From beginning to end the experience was easy and managed well. Stephanie was a pleasure to work with along with the entire crew. I’m usually the person reading reviews but never writing one, but I’m so impressed with the service we’ve recently received, that I decided I had to review Binder Heating & Air Conditioning. Chuck, our technician, assessed our AC units problems & gave us good options to discuss & we didn’t feel rushed or pressured or over sold. Chuck took the time to educate us on different filter options & went so far as to clean our old electrostatic filter to improve our air quality. Chuck knew we’d be without AC & offered to drop off a window unit- which he did at no charge (!) to keep us comfortable until we got our new AC at the end of June. I honestly thought that level of customer service was long gone, but obviously it’s the way Binder does business. I still can’t get over it & we look forward to referring Binder to our family & friends!

Our furnace was not consistently turning on. Chuck from Binder came and discovered that our ignighter needed to be replaced. He did a great job in tuning up the furnace to get maximum performance. He also fixed the humidifier, and spent extra time clearing out the drain hose for the humidifier which was clogged with deposits. I appreciate the extra effort to get us back in working condition. I recommend Binder.

Wonderful service and excellent prices! Our family has relied on Binder Furnace and Air Conditioning for many decades and they have always provided very fast, reliable and extremely high quality services. They have repaired and serviced our home furnace and air conditioner and have kept both units working reliably for the last forty years (…yes, that’s forty years on the same furnace and air conditioner)! Early this January, our furnace blower finally stopped working. It was very late on an extremely cold, sub-zero Friday afternoon. Despite the weather, Binder’s had a repairman out that same afternoon and he made a temporary repair to keep the furnace working. We talked with Rick Binder the following Monday. He came out and measured our house, inspected our air vents and explained the pros and cons of different models and brands in very understandable terms. The Binder team was on-site early the next morning and had the furnace installed and operating that same day. The new furnace has worked very reliably since the installation. Great service! And we should mention the excellent office staff and repair personnel. They are extremely helpful, efficient and provide great support and follow-up for customers. Over the decades, we have come to rely on Binder's services and have strongly recommended them to family members and friends. The feedback has always been excellent. We cannot recommend Binder’s Furnace and Air Conditioning too strongly. Thank you Binder’s!

We have used Binder for our HVAC needs for years and I can't say enough good about this company and employees. Bill came out today and checked out our furnace and replaced our ailing Aprilaire. He found another issue with our air exchanger and fixed that too! Most importantly, I like that he walked me through everything and gave me tips on how to efficiently manage our entire system. You don't get that very often. I really trust what they do and like they way they do business. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough positives about Binder's service. They promptly came out and performed an estimate on my commercial heat exchanger. The price was extremely competitive. When I selected them to do the work they had to order the major part and scheduled at time to do the service the next business day. This was of course during the coldest period of our winter and I was expecting at least a 3 or 4 day delay. They basically did everything immediately. It is working great. Hire them.

Binder was mid priced when I searched for someone to install a new AC and Furnace after remodeling my home . I went with Binder because Rick was very knowledgeable about all areas of my installation . They also agreed to do my duct work the way I wanted it done , other places argued with me about it . I am a multiple tradesman and I do quality work when I do a job . The Binder team took great care to install my whole system just as I would have done it if I had done it myself . Rick gave me a great warranty on all my equipment and stands behind what he promises you . One last thing I want to say is that I recently had a problem with my furnace witch is still under warranty . I tried everything that I know to get the flame to stay on to get heat . My water heater was on and heating water next to me while I was trying to get the furnace to stay on . After about a hour of working on my furnace I finally had to call Binders after hours repair man . I still had full coverage but I tried my best to fix it before calling them out . The repair man initially thought that my gas valve was failing . After a couple more tests he concluded that my gas meter outside was failing . I then called Excel Energy out and in fact they had to replace my gas meter . The fallowing day I called Binder up to ask if they would consider reducing my bill because of these circumstances . Even though nothing was wrong with my equipment and Binder was not at fault for anything Rick took the facts of my request to heart and reduced my bill by 66 % when he was entitled to his full payment of this bill . If this all sounds to good to be true be assured that every word is true ! I have and always will recommend Binder to any one needing the services that they provide . Binder was reliable, completed their work quickly, and were on time. We received multiple quotes to have our AC unit installed and went with Binder because of their affordability and because they didn't try to up-sell us on something we didn't need. We ended up buying a slightly nicer unit than the one they recommended because it was an option they listed, but didn't push on us. Installation of the unit was easy and the installers were professional. One slightly negative note, we have a Nest Thermostat, which one of the installers didn't have nice things to say about, but we have not had problems with Nest in the 4 years we have had one. Overall great quality for an affordable price! Would recommend to friends.

I called Binder Heating and air conditioning at 10 A.M. to try to get same day service. They took my name and number and said they would call me back. They contacted the service provider (Eric) in the field. They called me back quickly and said that Eric would make time at the end of his very busy day to make sure I was taken care of. When he arrived he quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He was incredibly polite and explained everything as he found and fixed the problem. He didn't try to sell me service I didn't need. He just found the actual problem fixed it and didn't try to over charge me. After my call he told me he was going to try to contact a client he had been unable to reach earlier in the day. To make sure he had heat for the winter to come. I would definitely call Binder Heating and air conditioning first if I had any heating or air conditioning issues in the future. I would also recommend them to any of my friends or family. Eric you are a good human being and I appreciate you!

After my experience with Binder, It makes perfect sense why they already have so many positive reviews. They do business exactly the way that business should be done. My A/C had been operating at much less than optimal capacity when I started using it this Summer. I scanned through different HVAC companies in the area on Google and decided to give Binder a shot. From start to finish, they were completely transparent and honest about my options and what the outcome would likely be. My A/C unit is relatively old, so there was some pursuasion to have it replaced; but, nothing that I would consider "pressure". After discussing the pros and cons of repairing vs replacing with the technician (Chuck), I decided to have it repaired for the time being. Throughout the process, Chuck was very tranparent and basically gave me a crash course on how A/C units operate as he was fixing the problem(s). He got everything running perfectly, and now a 90 degree day doesn't bother me at all. Before he left, he told me the price of a new unit; so, now I know what to expect when my old unit bites the dust. Because of the honest and transparent way that Binder does business and the way that their employees represent the company, they have earned my first phone call when it's time to replace.

I was so happy with the job Binder Heating did! My furnace went out the Friday night before New Years. I was able to keep the home warm enough using the fireplace and a couple of heaters over the weekend, but the weather was suppose to turn really cold in a few days so I was concerned about getting anything done before that happened. I called Binder Monday morning and first received a visit from Rick Binder by 10:30 a.m. By the afternoon a technician had come out, took apart the motor to determine the real problem. He saw a crack and called into the parts store to see about getting a part right away. They had the part, but since it was New Year's Eve, they were closing early for the day. The technician arranged his schedule to get over there, get the part before they closed and had it back to my house and installed by 4:00...on New Year's Eve...right before the high of 4 degrees the next day! They were so attentive, took care of the issue very reasonably and understood the urgency of the situation. I couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend!

Very easy to work with, was very flexible and able to work around my unique situation. One of the owners quoted my work and provided the lowest proposal hands down, while also giving me the most confidence in their proposed furnace vs other proposals I received. My final price actually excluded one of the items on the proposal because it was not needed and Binder was honest enough to deduct it from the quote. This is a rarity in my experience with contractors. I will call Binder first, next time I am gathering quotes.

My 1985 Kenmore furnace quit working during a cold day, and the house was cold but not freezing. Binder sent out an experienced repair technician within a couple of hours. Dave had the furnace working in less than an hour. He gave me information and advice on my furnace and air conditioner, and my furnace is working like new! Shout out to Dave at Binder. I was impressed with how well Binder communicated with me during the whole process.

Our furnace would not turn on one of the really cold nights recently. We called Binder's in the Morning. A Technician came out within a couple of hours and fixed our furnace in matter of minutes by cleaning the igniter switch. Binder's has a very resonable rate for making an emergency house call like this. I was plesantly surprised when my wife told me what the house call cost. We had Binder's put in our central air in our previous home before moving to our new location. It ran great for 18 years.

My air-conditioner was not working earlier in June when it was hot and humid. I called Binder since they had done the installation several years ago. The employee came out and checked everything over. The problem was not related to any mechanical problems but with a installation of a thermostat by a handyman and connected it wrong. All was fixed and explained while maintaining social distancing.

Eric made room for my 85 year old Mother who has just tried her AC for the first time this year. Prompt and professional, he replaced a condenser and added some refrigerant and explained the process. Next appointment was a week out. Hearty recommendation and would definitely use them again. The dispatcher (Phaun?)gave us options and we took the overtime rate rather then wait till next week clearly and courteously explained. When she needs to replace this older unit we will give them the business.

The custom sheet metal connection between the return air duct and the filter box was fabricated on-site after the shop-made connection failed to account for a two-inch offset. The result was a perfect fit.
