Used Aquarius to install a hole house humidifier on our furnace. From the initial appointment setting call all the way through the install and final paperwork, the company and associates were top notched! They were very careful and clean in my house, did a very tidy, nice looking job and communicated with me about their status all along the way. They even put their own door-mat on our stoop so that they'd be sure to wipe their feet before entering out house! (Even though they wore shoe-covers while inside!) Brandon was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous! When they were finished, they showed me how it worked and how to best use it with my thermostat! I would recommend him and Aquarius for any HVAC work you need.

Wow. I was getting bids on a high efficiency boiler replacement for a 32 year old boiler. Tom, the Aquarius sales rep came out--he was thorough and very knowledgeable and had spent many years installing. Because of his experience, he spotted a serious mistake in the installation of a water heater and fixed it on the spot. His answers were much more thorough than those of another rep so I hired them to install a new boiler. The installation crew: Mick (factory trained boiler rep), Mao (a serious election) and another person showed up and thoroughly evaluated the installation issue to minimize drilling additional holes in my 110 year old house and installed a wonderful system. They cleaned up on the way out. Perfect in every respect. Hats off to Deb and another person in the head office as well.

I am a subscriber member of Aquarius Home Service and highly recommend them. I get HVAC tune-ups each spring and fall and it is a great way to stay on top of furnace and AC issues. I have also had them service and repair both. The service techs are fantastic. Professional and informative. Huge focus on great customer experience across the process. They send texts and calls to keep you informed and updated before the appointment. Even send a pic and bio of the tech beforehand so you know who’s coming.

David & Zack did an excellent job installing our mini split air conditioner. They were prompt, kind, considerate of our requests and highly-skilled. They put in nearly 10 hours in order to finish the job in a day. We had a couple of minor questions about the system a few months later and they came back out and made sure everything was working well. It’s been a wonderfully cool summer inside thanks to Zack & David at Aquarius.

Aquarius HS has installed three Mitsubishi ductless mini split systems (a total of 6 heads) for us and from start to finish they have been a wonderful pleasure to work with. From sales through to the installation they communicated very well. They were professional, efficient, and knowledgeable, but most importantly they answered my questions about the hardware and software. The installation for both projects was exemplary. After the sale, they have been stellar to work with. For the most part David B. has been the field tech who not only fixes the odd issue, but also answers the many, many questions I invariably have. David is a rock star and it's wonderful to be able to pick his brain about best practices. He is professional, personable, and highly experienced and a joy to have working on our systems.

He was able to do a full assessment of my current unit, test the water as well as give recommendations on additional needs that may come up. Our furnace stopped working over a holiday weekend. In Minnesota. In January. The Aquarius folks called us back right away to get us an appointment and even saved us money by helping us get a non-emergency repair visit instead of a more expensive emergency repair. Turned out our 20-year-old furnace was pretty near the end of its service life (no surprise there), but the repair and sales folks we talked to were very open and responsive to balancing issues of cost, safety, and getting us warm ASAP. Jimmy in repairs showed me pictures of the old furnace and what was wrong, and was very upfront about what different repairs would cost and how long they were likely to last. We decided to replace instead of repair, so Kurt in sales came to our house and helped us choose a replacement; he didn't do any high pressure sales pitches, just talked us through our options and gave us the info and tools to make informed decisions. Financing was easy, and they help with discounts and rebates. The awesome lady in the office (I didn't catch her name) offered us a space heater to make sure we stayed warm. Kou and the install team that came to the house were great -- they laid down rugs and drop cloths to protect our floors, and even shoveled out the snow around our AC to install the new one! At every step of the way, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure that we knew what was going on and what to expect next. It was our first time using Aquarius, but it definitely won't be our last!

Mike came to our home the same day we called the Aquarius Home Services office for our furnace (it wasn't turning on). The reps at the office were on top of getting us seen right away. Once Mike arrived, he went straight to cleaning up our furnace and getting it to work! He answered all questions and gave us a handful of future tips to keep in mind. 1. Filling out the form to make an appointment was so easy. 2. The appointment gal (forgot her name, sorry) was do nice and wonderful. She accommodated my schedule to work with my meetongs at work. 3. Jimmy V. was awesome! On time with a smile (early on a Monday morning). Was very descriptive of what was going on with my AC and furnace. He used terms that I even could understand. Such a great experience overall!

Just bought a house with a 10 year old water heater in it. Knowing it was a question of when not if it would go out I scheduled with Aquarius to get an estimate on a new one. Paul was very honest and knowledgable about the exact water heater I needed. I was expecting to schedule out a few weeks for install but he was willing and able to do it that same day. I also knew I would need a new water softener at some point but figured I would get the most important thing (heater) done first but they were actually able to send someone out that day to talk over water softeners. When we set up the install appointment, Paul was kind enough to also install the softener that day as well. So much appreciated the stress relief and everyone was so professional. Definitely will use this company for any other work I need done. Thank you all so very much.

Paul, Eric and Nate came to our house to take down an old light fixture and put in a new one my wife bought (we actually needed another hole in the ceiling as she was replacing 1 big fixture with 2 smaller ones). They also put in a couple new electrical boxes, one in a brand new island we had just installed. All the work was done very well. They were able to come out, quote the job, and get it done all in the same day. Kind of expensive, but I got great work done in a single day. If you are looking for high quality electrical work, this is a great option!

Paul provided free professional advice and estimate service. I learned a bit about building codes that I was not aware of concerning water heaters and bedrooms. Because of his years of certified master plumbing experience, Paul was able to expertly collaborate with me to create a cost-conscious plan to replace my 23 year-old water heater. I needed this plan to prevent unnecessary spending on a new tank and installation costs. His aura is very calm, he is very clean cut (almost military), and navigated my home in a respectful manner. Jimmy did a super job analyzing and fixing the problem with our furnace on a Sunday during one of the coldest days of the year! He was on-time, answered all my questions, and very personable. Then he did a terrific job installing our new Nest thermostat which required re-wiring the furnace due to the old thermostat configuration. So I'm not even sure where to start and how many thanks are truly enough for the work done on my home. From Bill restoring my power in parts of my home after being out for 2 weeks to David and others re-doing the electrical work throughout my entire home. The work was going to be about 2 1/2 days and I only have a certain amount of time off from work and Aquarius was able to schedule me during my days off. After each day David walked me through what was done and made sure I understood all that was completed. The crew went above and beyond (they were kind to shovel the end of my driveway) and made spaces in my house and garage better and brighter. I felt comfortable around them and having them in my home while I was away. I'm beyond grateful for the work they did, the level of professionalism and time to explain everything to me. We needed a small leak repaired on a shutoff valve. Paul arrived, checked out all of the pipes and found that the other shutoff was also leaking. We agreed to fix both. Paul went right to work, he showed me the valve after being removed and I could see where it was cracked. He was very professional took care of our leaks in a timely manner. He provided the current status and we discussed what maintenance he should perform while he was on site (nothing was urgently needed, but it was rime for some normal replacements. He was then able to complete all of the updates and test the system before he left. We should be good for several years to come with our Kinetico system.

Reverse Osmosis Drinking System was leaking. Kong Her identified the problem in less than 30 seconds and replaced the defective part. HVAC INSPECTION & Repair… January 2023: Mike L. & Nic inspected and did some repairs on my home and garage furnaces. Mike noticed a couple of things on my home furnace that clearly have been missed by 2 prior inspections I had done by other companies over the past 5 years since I purchased the home. He and Nic were able to re mount the blower motor properly and correct the position and orientation of the gas regulator in the same visit. They were also able to adjust the gas pressure on a newer furnace I had installed in my workshop garage. Great work, fair on site quotation. Plumbing :2 of 2 Chris found a laundry tub drain leak while doing the prior work. It was a fracture in some old PVC drain piping that was NOT supported well. I could see that some of the run was not installed properly, nor to code. I had him quote the repair plus improvements to add shutoff valves, proper washer drain sump to code as well as replace the laundry faucet, proper burst protection hoses and add in a 2nd household RO drinking water faucet to the laundry tub/sink. Once again, the work was completed with care and professionalism. Thank you Chris & Aquarius. 1 of 2 Services. I had Aquarius, Chris L. Repair and replace worn exterior faucets, add an exterior mix valve faucet and a spin filter to my well water system. Chris is a pro. He knows his stuff! I’m very pleased with his work. Aquarius is not the least expensive service. However, I started with 2 more local plumbing companies and they were no shows. Aquarius bid the work, and did the work, and did it well.

I wanted to wait a few months before putting in my review to really test the Kinecto water softener that was installed. I contacted Aquarius for a quote and Jennifer came out to the house to do an inspection of our water softener. We recently moved into the house and did not know how to operate the water softener that came with the house. She told us that our water, and Plymouth water in general, is very hard (~20ppm). She ran us through some water softener options and was recommending the Kinetico water softener. Jennifer told us that only the Kinetico Premier Series was offered in our area due to the hardness of the water. It is a HEFTY investment but we decided to go ahead with the Kinetico water softener as it came with a great warranty and we were able to get a little discount as well. It has been three months now and we love the Kinetico water softener. It's fancy looking and super functional. We can feel the difference in our water quality, especially when showering or washing our hands. The best way to describe soft water is that it's...soft. Rub the water between two fingers and feel how easily it slides in between the fingers. It's a luxury item for sure but the benefits are there. One downside is that it cycles a lot of water and the cycling can be loud. It happens at various times throughout the day based on when the soft water needs to be replenished. But that's part of owning a water softener so not really a downside. We hope the water softener will last 10+ years for the investment but so far it's been worth it!

We purchased our Furnace & AC a few years ago from Kath Heating & AC (now Aquarius). We haven’t had any major issues at all (which is awesome). Our reason for service was because our thermostat notified us to call for regular maintenance. Alex arrived on-time and was very friendly and provided an explanation of what he would be doing during the maintenance check-up. After inspecting and looking everything over, he noted everything was in good working condition. He did make a recommendation on changing our furnace filter more frequently (and when I saw the filter, it definitely needed to be replaced). He replaced the old dirty filter and he even updated our thermostat to remind us to replace the filter more often (love when technology tells us something is due or needed). He answered all of my questions and even provided an estimate for a better filter system based on our discussion of allergies and pets our home. Really appreciate the friendly service from the folks in the office and our technician, Alex. Also love that Alex was knowledgeable and able to answer questions and explain things in a way that made sense to me.

It's not much fun when your furnace goes out on New Years Eve with a forecasted minus 18 degree night approaching. Aquarius responded quickly, determined the furnace was not repairable, came the next morning (Saturday - New Years Day) to arrange a replacement which took place on Monday. They provided us with 4 space heaters which kept us above 60 degrees for the weekend. The installation of the new furnace was quick, professional and very neat. My boyfriend and I moved into our new and first home at the end of January 2021. After a week of being there, we noticed staining beginning to happen in our tub, sinks and there was a sulfur smell coming from the kitchen sink when we did laundry. We called multiple plumbers and water experts who would either not show up, or show up, take notes and then never get back to us again. After this going on for months, we finally had it when the water was now staining all of our clothes. We had gotten a flyer in the mail about Aquarius and gave them a call. Right away, they were very professional and informative and sent mike out to inspect at the soonest available time. Mike was very knowledgeable and took very detailed notes and was very informative to us on what our issue was. Although it can be a tad pricy, Aquarius told us about a payment plan option and we decided to have the new water system installed and I’m so glad we did. We’ve had new, clean water for a couple weeks now and it has improved our way of living way more than I ever thought it would. We can actually drink our water now! Overall Job for the money was good, only a couple complaints about the furnace install. The condensate drain line was put over the filter rack making it impossible to remove filter without first taking the condensate drain line off, and when installing the New thermostat, the wall Color behind the old thermostat was a different Color, they left a 1/4 inch strip of the old paint exposed when the size of the New thermostat was lot larger and should have no problem covering it. The only other complaint is the finance. When agreeing to the job the normal method of payment is 50% down and 50% upon completion. Aquarius requires full payment before the work begins. So you have no leverage if there is issues with the install. Overall I would say it’s an 9/10 job.

This Company is INCREDIBLE! Our furnace went out overnight, 1/12/20. The house was down to 51 degrees by 6:30am.I called Aquarius around 9:30am, & they had a first class technician(Jim) here in under 2 hours! He determined we needed a complete new furnace. In under an hour, the salesman (Raul) arrived-he explained the different models and price points. I picked out one. Shortly after he left, Brent came with 4 portable heaters for us. The office scheduler (BLESS HER HEART), set us up for 7am the next morning! So at 7 am next morning 2 technicians were here -Chase & partner. By 1:00 pm the house was nice and warm- Done! This past December, Aquarius installed a new furnace and AC unit. I am pleased with the product and service people that did the installation. I would have given a 5 star rating, but it has taken a month and I have not received the rebate from my local utility yet. That's after I've called Aquarius twice asking about it and was told just a week ago that "we're working on it". The service tech assured me the turnaround time was very quick. I then e-mailed North St Paul Utliities and was told just this morning that they have not received the application yet. I feel the person answering the phone should have told me they would find out who was responsible for this task and have that person call me with a timeline when it would be taken care of.

From start to finish, Aquarius Home Services may have offered the best experience we've ever had with a company coming to our home. We've been interested in ductless air conditioning for a while, and Aquarius both responded the quickest and set up an estimate for us right away. We had a wonderful experience having a new Kinetico water softener installed in our house. We were given our options, with prices, upfront - before we even scheduled someone to come out for the water test. Obviously a water test could have ruled out some of the options, and it did - the more expensive model. It was nice to know they didn't try to sell me something that wouldn't have been able to work appropriately in my home. The installers called ahead to let me know they were on their way. They arrived promptly and were finished in less time than estimated. After the install, one of the installers took me through step-by-step to show me how to take care of the softener (add salt, replace the filter, and how to bypass the softener altogether if needed). They were professional and more than cleaned up after themselves. Really, this was a wonderful experience all around. I had to cancel an appointment and reschedule at the last minute. Not only were they totally understanding, but they worked to make sure I could get my new unit installed in the tiny window I actually had available. Customer service is obviously a priority at this company, and that really showed - from the office scheduling to the water test to the install. I will definitely be recommending them to anybody that needs a new water softener and will definitely look back to using them in the future if needed.

Their furnace install techs were fast and polite, and the gentlemen who quoted me was very professional with a solid price. Unfortunately, there were a few issues that prevented the experience from being entirely positive: The humidifier wasn't wired right when it was installed (it would never stop running, even when the furnace and fan turned off) so it required another tech to come out about a month later to fix it. I have still not heard back from them regarding whether the rebate has been submitted, and it has been over 2 months. The emails I sent to the rep who collected information for the rebate submission went unanswered. EDIT: I received a call from Aquarius shortly after posting the reveiw with an update on the rebate submission. Thanks for your prompt response!

Aquarius comes through for us again! Our sump pump quit and we had Josiah to the rescue within 24 hours of calling for help! He was prompt, courteous, efficient and professional. Got the problem identified and solved quickly, and cleaned up behind himself. It was a stinky, messy job but he dug right in! We have used Aquarius for several projects now, and they also installed and maintain our whole-home water treatment system. There may well be less expensive options out there, but every single job they have completed in our home has been very well done by an experienced professional. My furnace was originally installed over 60 years ago, with the AC and water heater installed not too far behind. On schedule visit for heating tune up the technician found my pressure tank switch was sticking close set up service call for a plumber thru Aquarius to come out and service or repair it. Josiah arrived on time and showed me the issue and found the holding tank to be faulty also and explained the problem and showed the cost to make the repairs. My two year old Furnece stopped working ; I call the Aquarius customer service and the lady gave time frame from 8am to 12pm. Soon within lass than an hour Mike Crider showed up. It wouldn’t take him a minute to figure it out what was a problem. The motor went bad and he rushed back to get new one. Fortunately, my furnace has a 10 years warranty on it so he came back within about 40 minutes and got replaced within 15 minutes. Wow!!!! Although neither my furnace nor my air conditioner needed service beyond routine maintenance, he took the time to show me photos of the condenser unit for my 35-year-old air conditioner. He explained the unit was working well at this time, but that the unit would likely breakdown in the near future, as it is rusting in a critical area. Without any unpleasant sales pressure, he gave me the information I need to plan for a future expense. Excellent service.

All around great sales experience. When it came to the install we had some issues. Failure to communicate accurately led to a botched humidifier and an incomplete job. They seem willing to stand behind the mistake, I hope, and make it right. Will change review and note if they are willing to stand behind it. We would have had additional requests for financing or paid out of pocket 700 for a 200 part. This is my only reason for a 4 star. Despite all of this I will and do recommend them.
