When I first called Key, I was treated like a VIP and they expedited my request because my heat was broken. They gave me excellent advice about rebates that could help with costs, and excellent service. Since then, service has always been consistent and fairly priced. It gives me great peace of mind to know I can always call them if we have a problem.

Seven years ago Key installed our heating system but neglected to install the humidifier that should have been part of (and had been paid for) the system. Last year the technician discovered the issue and tried to install it, but it never worked properly- in spite of many attempts by several technicians. Today Matt, having read last year's reports, arrived and discovered there were a number of errors with its installation last year so he consulted the manuals, took it back to the beginning and reinstalled the system as it should have been done originally. It took him awhile to accomplish this, but at last the humidifier is working correctly. That is due to Matt's conscientiousness and dedication to doing his work thoroughly and correctly. In the future we would prefer to have Matt as the Key technician if we have any additional issues. Thank you, Matt! You are the best!!

Michael, (Technician) was friendly, knowledgeable & professional. Answered our questions about wood odor from furnace..I had furnace cleaned by another company few months ago & I wasn't happy with the outcome. Kudos also to the Office Assistant who called me with an earlier appt & update. She was also very pleasant & professional.(sorry, can't remember her name)...Key is now our HVAC contractor.

We couldn't have asked for a better response to our situation. We lost our heat (23 degrees outside) and called Key. They said they would get someone here as soon as they could. Within the hour we got a text that Michael was on his way.What a Godsend! He diagnosed our issue right away, but meanwhile found a serious problem in that our fuse box had had a fire and melted parts. Yikes! He guided us as to what we needed to do ASAP and didn't leave until we fully understood the gravity of the situation. I would gladly recommend Key and Michael to anyone who needs expert help on their heating system!

Our compressor gave up at a bad time, when temperatures were about to drop sub zero. Key Heating didn't leave us stranded and responded quickly by sending out a team to assess the problem. After locating the part required to get my compressor back up and running, Michael was dispatched. Once he arrived he quickly recognized that the part wasn't the right size, but rather then just postponing the job, he reached for his phone and didn't rest until he located the correct part. He then began working on the unit while waiting for his colleague to arrive with the piece that would revive our compressor. Both, Michael and his colleague were very professional and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond the normal call of duty, so that we wouldn't be without heat. Great experience, which is why we will continue to give our business to Key Heating.

I used Key to fix a small issue with my heating system where one of the heat zones was not working. My heating and cooling system is pretty complex, but Matt from Key was excellent at explaining how it all worked and fixing the problem. The entire staff at Key was super friendly, communicative, and responsive. No one likes when your heat goes out in the winter, but they made it as painless a process as possible. Matt even spent extra time showing me how to reprogram my annoying thermostats so that they just stay the same temperature all the time (which seems easier than it actually is).

I received a call that a technician was available to service my furnace a day early, so I said ok! Aban showed up and was SO NICE and POLITE!!! I brought him down to the furnace and showed him my concerns. He answered all of my questions and got to work on its annual service. He took down some unnecessary wires that were left behind from a previous service. Changed out the filter, even though it had just been done. He showed me video of the furnace firing up. Let me know what he thought should be next to be done to it. Nhe also let me know that it wasn't an emergency to get done, but it should get done. He took all trash with him. He chatted with my mom during the service appointment which was very nice. Great service from a very nice person!

Matt was great. Found a switch had been left off after it had been serviced and turned it on, The heat pump had trouble getting out of low flow mode and he fixed that. Matt then inspected the boiler and is developing a maintenance plan for it.

Oops! I noticed an hour or two later that the gas "on and off" switch was in the off position after the guys from Key left the house. The house had gotten progressively cooler and I was wondering what had happened. Perhaps they were distracted. I should have asked to verify that the system was fully operational.

If you have a failed DIY project like I did, Key HVAC will handle the situation. I was treated respectfully and the service fee was fair. I was a little annoyed at having my service rescheduled, but it made sense considering they are short-staffed and my problem required more time allotted.

We had such an amazing experience with this company. They literally just left after the final installation today, and wanted to write this review to share what a positive experience we had. I wanted to post this review to help others who are searching for a heating and air conditioning service. From day one when I initiated the first call to set up service, I spoke to three different people in the process and they could not have been any kinder and sincere. They thoroughly answered all the questions we had. If they promised us a phone call,they would call back very promptly. They performed the installation in a very timely manner. Service inspection was completed on 10/14/21 by Jimmy Campbell. All I can say is that he was EXCELLENT! Would highly recommend him. He went over and above explaining to me how the heating system works. He also pointed out red flags to watch for. For example, what the recommended psi and temperature guages should read when the system is running. We could not have had a better tech. Thank you for sending him.

Justin was prompt, knowledgeable, skilled, efficient and polite. He took the time to explain a few issues and recommended some options. He also stayed longer to make sure the system was operation properly when by chance our thermostat called for heat a few seconds after he completed testing the high temperature shutoff setting and the boiler fired back up. He determined that indeed was the case, but it did take him an extra effort.

The owner came out and gave us an estimate for the work the day we called, which was amazing; so many other HVAC repair companies that we called couldn't get here for minimum a week to as far out as three weeks. Bob did a great job on my AC install. It was a little more complicated than a "normal" install because of the way he had to run the circulation lines in/out of the house. I recently needed service on my Mitsubishi Slim Heat Pump . Key HVAC was the original installer. They were able to quickly set up an appointment for a non-emergency situation. The field technician (Richard Chagron) was very thorough in diagnosing the problem and getting my machine back in working order. He took the time to explain what had happened with the unit. I was very pleased with the service rendered and the price charged. I chose Key HVAC five years ago to install the Mitsubishi systems in my house. In total, I had quotes from five contractors. I do not normally choose a vendor strictly on lowest price. Key had the best solutions for my house and as it turned out, the best pricing. Their personnel are very knowledgeable and very professional. I highly recommend them for a new installation or for maintenance.

(2) were roughly around $10,000, (1) was $5,900 and Key was $4,200 for THE EXACT SAME UNIT that I had already researched and wanted. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous from the office staff to the workers who came to my house. They did exactly what they said they would and on time. She noted that I would get a call when he was on his way. Happily, I received that call around 1:00 and Walter arrived soon after. Despite problems in getting a necessary part (he had to drive to Dover for it) the price quoted remained constant, and the furnace problem was resolved. I will certainly rely on them again.
