Todd came by to help us with a new electric panel, some rods, and a outlet in preparation for our new water heater. He very helpful, professional and very knowledgeable. He got to work quickly after arriving and got your job done! He left the space clean and the new set up is as beautiful as an electric panel and outlet can be. Highly recommend Todd for all your electrical needs!

Heritage was able to schedule an estimate the day after we called. Joe Tucker, our technician, was friendly and professional and prepared an estimate quickly. He explained all the steps involved and was able to get us a repair appointment for the following week. We had a delay in one repair after we found asbestos in a pipe chase. Joe and Heritage were flexible and worked with us to reschedule once the asbestos was removed by an environmental services contractor. Our job was finished the day after the asbestos removal. Excellent work!

I called at 7:00 a.m., and actually spoke with a person ... no 'choose #1 or #2' here! That's a Gold Star! 'Robin' was very helpful, took my information on the issue, and made an appointment for the very next day ... another Gold Star! She said that there was a chance that someone would be out today, and that they would text me if that was possible ... another Gold Star! Sometime after 2:00, I received a voicemail from Jack, he said that a technician would be out shortly! Another Gold Star! A shiny, clean truck, soon appeared in front of my house, and the technician, Evan, walked up to my front door. He was in a nice, clean uniform from Heritage, and introduced himself to me. Before entering my house, he put on these blue fabric boot covers. Another Gold Star! I would say within 15 minutes, my issue was resolved. Evan explained about their 'one year warranty'; and asked if there was anything else that I needed. Another Gold Star! Looks like I gave Heritage Plumbing a six-star rating!

Heritage is my choice HVAC for over 10 years as they provide quality work that is done right the first time. They replaced my heating system and water tank in the past. This week, they replaced my central AC compressor. They have the "do it right" mentality. For example, the person who installed the previous central air unit made some questionable decisions. And the team unexpectedly had to fix it - with no additional cost on my end. And you can tell the level of craftsmanship over what was done before. Thank you Heritage. Now I can sleep sound with a cool room and a working system!

Service Tech Ken Hilton and his apprentice Mike arrived on time, prepared several estimates for the intended work, and started immediately after I approved the estimate. These techs were very friendly and worked well with other. I spent some time observing their work and was impressed by their clear knowledge of the work and their safety consciousness for each other and for me. A number of new parts and materials were needed and they had everything available on their trucks. They cleaned the work area so well you couldn't tell they were in my house, except of course for the shiny new water heater. They did a final walk through with me, explaining what they had done and how the system operated. Would highly recommend them for future projects.

The service was excellent. Chris was earlier than the quoted time but called ahead to make sure that was acceptable. My water heater was broken and needed replacement and he assessed the situation quickly. The price was clearly communicated. Originally the work was going to need to happen the next day, but Chris worked with his office to expedite the work to be completed before he left my house. While he waited for more personnel to arrive with the required parts, he prepared everything that he could. All the while he gave updates to the progress. When the parts arrived, the crew made fast work of the installation. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

Since our first call, I knew we were in great hands. Andy did our first meeting via Zoom to look at the project and provide an estimate. Heritage came in significantly under our other estimates and could get started quickly. Andy was such a pleasure to work with for a bathroom remodel. There was great communication leading up to and during his work. He called our tile contractor to verify exactly where the pipes needed to be and what needed to be done. He was efficient and professional, getting everything done in a day! He also sent us photos of his work (along with measurements for the tile installer if he needed them). We are beyond happy with his work and could not recommend Andy from Heritage more!

I expressed what my goals were. Once I made my decision, he made sure I understood what the process would include and what it would not include. The work was done with precision and efficiently. We were very happy with the service we received from Heritage Plumbing and Electric when our hot water heater died on a Friday night. We paid extra for an emergency visit, and Andy called when he was on his way at the expected time. Andy did a thorough inspection and recommended a new water heater installation. In the meantime, he explained how to reset the water heater so we'd have hot water for the weekend. He also went over the steps we should take if there were more leaking before Monday morning. Andy and an apprentice arrived on time on Monday, removed the old water heater, and installed a new one in a few hours. In the process, they called in Adam to upgrade our electrical setup and installed a drain pan and water leak alert system. I was impressed with their professionalism, recommendations, and their execution of the required fixes. We now have hot water and a new system, and I have a lot of confidence in the new system, thanks to the work of Andy and Adam. The prompt and helpful response to our hot water issue was much appreciated!

Our technician, Andy Favreau, was excellent! He arrived early on within the appointment window. He was very skilled and knowledgeable with what we needed, which was a hot water heater flush and analysis. Our hot water had not been hot enough and had been running out far too soon (within 10 minutes when showering). Andy fixed the temperature issue, and then also recommended replacement of the mixing valve after he had flushed sediment from the tank. It has been 2 weeks and our hot water performance has been much better. It's perfect now. We were very happy with the service, the technician's friendly and helpful manner, and the ease of setting up the appointment.

Matt was so pleasant and explained the difference in the two types of water heaters. He was very prompt on his time line. We decided to go with the tankless water heater. He told us he would out next day to install the water heater. He n his partner Mike were very professional, arrived when they said they would, we're prepared to do the installation and they did a wonderful job cleaning up. Our unity room floor hasn't looked that good in years . We were blessed to have them both do the work for us. They are definitely skilled plumbers . Treat them well.

Ken arrived early after calling ahead to be sure that was OK. It was the day before Thanksgiving so the earlier the better. 4 year old water heater failed leaving us with no hot water or shower and a wet basement. He verified the issue, checked that the unit was under warranty, located a replacement, had warranty paperwork to fill out, and helped us locate financing. After all the work was done, he walked us through the repairs and details of the work and unit. His work space was clean and everything looked new, detailed, and correct. He was very respectful of our home and time and thanked us for having him perform the work.

Had a great experience and will definitely be using again. I had an issue with my water heater that 3 techs at another company could not figure out. I had a virtual appointment with Andy and he was more than helpful! We talked through the problem and got it resolved quickly. Very impressed with his professionalism and clear communication. Upon going to test my heating system prior to the cold weather I realized it wasn’t turning on. Called Heritage and the next day Joesph Tucker arrived as scheduled and fixed the issue within an hour. Joe also took the time to explain everything that was going on and did an outstanding job making sure I was aware of what will be needed to be done in the future to prevent any further issues. Mr. Tucker is great at his job and represents Heritage with the utmost professionalism is seldom found in many businesses of this type. After the maintenance was complete, Jen reviewed some things I should consider to have completed in the near future (oil tank and replacing some gaskets that are becoming brittle) along with the estimates for each. I was referred to Heritage by a friend who said how great they were. Derek came out today to look at why my upstairs wasn't getting heat. He was in and out pretty quick, extremely professional and super helpful. And just so freaking nice, which is rare, sadly. (PS-the tech who went to my friend's house was named Jim she thinks, so it's not just Derek, they hire good people at Heritage).

My experience with Heritage was great from my AM emergency call to Rachel to Jason coming to advise and make temporary repairs to our 30yr old furnace. Jason was so patient and took the time to explain, in depth, our system and gave us several options for temporary repair, which he did at 7pm on a Sat night. From the initial phone call to Heritage Home Services to the completion of the water line repair, my wife and I were more than satisfied. On a Friday evening, I discovered that water was spraying from a hole in a copper water line in the basement. HHS telephone personnel were very responsive. An HHS service rep, Ken Hilton. arrived at our house within a short period of time. Ken was very professional and knowledgeable. Ken determined what needed to be done and provided a cost quote which we accepted. Ken’s work ethic, performance and skill were exceptional. We greatly appreciate the work that Ken did and his recommendations.

My direct vent wall heater was not working. The service technician (Joe) with Heritage arrived on time. He was extremely knowledgeable, conscientious, polite and professional. I had been previously told by another company all I needed was a new pilot assembly and that the combustion chamber was “like new”. Joe removed the metal plate covering a majority of the chamber to discover it was rusted and cracked and potentially hazardous. It was far from “like new” condition! It was, in fact, a danger to use! I ended up scheduling a replacement of the entire unit with Heritage. I have full confidence in them to do the project correctly and safely. I’m in good hands with Heritage and would highly recommend them.

Adam from Heritage did an awesome job today installing my ceiling fan. The appointment was scheduled for between 7 AM and 8 AM and he called us at 6:45 to let us know he was on his way. Not only was he on time and left the work area extremely clean and he was honest. When he removed the old light fixture he informed me there was no need to install a ceiling fan mounting kit, because the current ceiling box was already capable of holding a ceiling fan. He could of easily installed a new Ceiling fan mounting box and charged me for this additional service, but again he was honest. We have used Heritage a couple of times now and both times they have provided excellent service. Gary

Justin Shirley came out to our home on Christmas Eve to resolve our generator issue after we were without power due to the recent storms. We have an older Kohler generator system, however he came out and said he would get it running and he did. He delivered on his promise, thank you. This service was beyond exceptional, Christmas Eve, you do not see that too often, especially nowadays. His professionalism and his explanations of the issue to my wife and myself were easy to follow and understandable. In addition, we had a follow up issue with our water not working that Justin referred his co-worker(Richard) to contact us to resolve the problem on Christmas Eve and we resolved it this morning, Christmas Day. This was beyond our expectations. Plus, it was fair pricing(my opinion) and great professional service from Justin and his team at Heritage Home Services. My wife and I cannot thank Justin enough as well as Richard, you both made an otherwise sad Christmas into a very happy Christmas for our family, we will not forget. We called Heritage today after 11:00 after getting the runaround from another vendor. When we explained we had been out of hot water for a couple days, we were placed on a standby list and by 2:45 PM, we got a call from our technician, Adam, to say that he would be there in about a half an hour. Adam showed up on time, was courteous, and did all the needed repairs for a whopping 2,000.00 less than the original vendor who came out on Sunday. Several of the parts that were deemed "necessary for replacement" by the original vendor were actually fine and working, so we were quite happy to have Heritage fix our heat and hot water within hours of us calling them, and to actually spend less than the competitor's estimate was a nice surprise. Thank you to the team at Heritage for doing it right, and thank you to Adam for his efforts and for staying late to complete the job! You should be proud to have him on your team. It's not often that an unexpected heating bill feels like a big win, but they definitely impressed with their service. I would recommend them highly.

We have used Heritage to replace our oil heat system with propane and are very pleased with the service. Todays visit included flushing out some cleaning solution that had been added when the new system was installed. On the way out the tech asked if there were any questions and I took the opportunity to ask how to program the thermostat, since I hadn’t been able to do that myself. He spent 10 minutes showing me in detail how to do it and now it is done the way we wanted. Great job!

Chris came out to our home to assess the outdoor electrical panel and breaker. We were experiencing power outages but nothing inside our home was triggered in the inside electrical panel. He performed an initial diagnostic and coordinated for appropriate follow up with his team at Heritage. He was very polite and professional throughout and thoroughly explained everything to us. Our 35 year old heating system failed on a cold Sunday December night. We called our usual plumber but they couldn't help us until the end of January. I contacted Heritage first thing Monday morning and Zak was at our home within hours and arranged for a completely new system to be installed first thing the next morning. CJ and Alex showed up early and worked without interruption all day so that we could have heat that night. They did a fabulous job! They were very professional and knowledgeable and we are so pleased with our new system! I wish I could add a picture to show what an amazing system they installed, it even has a sprinkler! While the work turned out to be more extensive and expensive than I had originally anticipated, and while I wish there were more economical faucet options on the truck, I am very satisfied with the quality of the work. I had to buy a new faucet, and in order to have the product guaranteed, I needed to purchase what was on the truck and there was only one option. However, the work was thorough and complete and I am relieved to know I don’t need to worry about any leaks under my kitchen sink. Excellent service!!

I called Heritage Electric for an issue with our breaker box. The washer breaker kept flipping after a wash load. They originally told me they would be out after the new year but then called me 2 weeks early and fit us in. Adam Hamilton, the electrician, arrived on time, was professional, and efficiently resolved the issue. He set me up with their service plan which provides 10% off of services. I would highly recommend Heritage if you are having electrical issues.

Joe was friendly, a great communicator, and confident in his work in a way that seasoned professionals with years of experience are. I woke up this morning to a puddle of water on the floor beside my furnace. I called Heritage and explained my problem. I was told that a dispatcher would call me in a few minutes and let me know when the service tech would be here. The dispatcher called in minutes and told me that Jason Gilligan would be here in about one hour. Jason showed as expected. He reviewed the problem and showed me what was causing it and offered the corrective action needed to repair it. He was missing one part in his service truck so he had to go to the supplier to pick it up. He returned and completed the repair. After the repair was completed he checked the system and made adjustments to tune in the efficiency. They canceled 1st appointment two days before they were supposed to come out. (Nov) Was told they now could now couldn’t come out till March!?!? March comes I have to call again now I m told I’m not in the system. They set up a new appointment was set up For maintenance on my heating system. Tech comes out he’s nice / professional. But never told me what the maintenance entails just what was wrong with my system. Then proceeded to remove my flame sensor to show me it need to be replaced .. gets one off his truck to show me the difference… I ask how much for the new part. They tell me over $300 to install it!?!! So basically he took my old one out to show me next to a new one and put the old one back for no charge??? It’s a $9 part on amazon. Why not just charge me for the part you took out instead of putting the old pack ??? You’re doing all the work anyway the only difference is the same part you took out to show me?!?! They do great work but are very very expensive. Also I originally opted not to do the survey but have now received multiple texts since my appt asking me to take it

I reached out to a bunch of other plumbers in town and nobody had availabilities but Heritage was able to squeak me in for a burst pipe repair next day. Jason was an excellent representative of your company. He was here to investigate the cause of a water stain on my kitchen ceiling, presumably emanating from the upstairs bathroom. There was no way to discover the leak without cutting a hole in my kitchen ceiling so that he could insert a camera to visualize the source of the leak. Surprisingly, when he reached up and felt the pipes, everything was bone dry. He ran the water in the bathroom sink, the toilet and the shower separately, but could not reproduce the leak. He told us to use the bathroom as usual and place paper towels down in order for us to see if any water leaked and that he would get in touch with us via email in a month. We were to call immediately if we noticed any further leaking. Each step was fully explained to us. Jason was great. He was respectful, polite, and friendly. You should reward this employee. I felt quite badly for not vacuuming the floor in my office area. I draft with plastic lead and erase often so the floor area where the Rennai unit is located is beyond filthy. Mike was unfazed by the dirt and cramped conditions. Our unit needs replacing and he advised it should not be used, but it’s been so cold I have used it sparingly and it runs smoothly and cleanly. James Gumtow was professional, very knowledgeable, and communicated very well as to what he was doing. If you want to be the absolute best company that services Navien tankless systems and other brands. These are just recommendations and what we did in the service department at my company. 1- Your Technicians should never be put into a call queue. Not to difficult to talk to (let’s use Navien as an example) and establish a partnership so you have a direct call line to navien and within 5 or 10 minutes your technicians are troubleshooting the problem. 2- When a technician goes out to a site they should have a kit that has everything in that kit to repair the model they are working on. As a service company you can try to build a partnership with companies to have these parts or kits at your fingertips. You can always pitch an idea to these companies about a relatively small but well stocked depot. Anything beneficial will take some work to implement and put in place but don’t look at it as a mountain to conquer. No harm in talking to companies to see what they think. It’s not as difficult as it seems but it will take some leg work. Remember time is money and a lot less stress and aggravation to the customers. Just to share-My heat and hot water were out for about a week. Mainly because of parts. That’s stress that can be avoided. Thank you.

It's been a little under a year since I used them, and I'm only just getting around to my reviews for the past year. I hired them as a last minute kind of resort back in October for a toilet flange/ down pipe. Originally they sent one technician who quote me about $350. Little more than I wanted to spend for a piece of PVC and flange, but whatever. It was leaking. Two days later a younger kid shows up to install. He didn't have an appropriate flange, so he had to use 1/4' wood, which was fine. When I went to pay he told me a typical repair cost for this was about $500 but had to charge me the price of $350. He has his little iPad which had a bunch of "services", kind of like a menu with different prices for different plumbing jobs. Overall the job was fine for a quick fix, but was too expensive. I now keep getting bombarded with their emails and snail mail. Overall they're fine for an absolute emergency if you have the money, otherwise most other reputable companies in the area will stand behind their work, their materials, and their prices - so in my eyes it's very tacky to see this being used as a justification for their prices. A few weeks later I did another bathroom and was only charged $175 (from a licensed and reputable plumber) and for that we had to cut out drywall and gain access to the pipes. The repair heritage did was in the basement, with all piping and supports fully exposed and easy to get to.

Jonathan, and the whole company was great! We had a light fixture make a loud noise and start smoking in the late afternoon. We were worried our older house may catch fire, due to not knowing the wiring situation of a recently bought, 1800s home. We called a different company, initially, who told us they would have an on call technician out right away. Four hours later, with no answer from the previous company for an update, we called Heritage. The office staff answered, told us she would call a technician to see if it warranted an emergency on call, and would call us right back. At this point, I didnt believe her, but I got a call back within 5 minutes. I believe Monica (I apologize if I got her name wrong, she was great!) told us she had spoken to an electrical manager, and they said as long as we kept the light switch off, we wouldnt need to be concerned about a fire. She said they would call us in the morning to get a tech out as soon as possible. They called us hours before the other company decided to follow up with us for 'on call'. While Heritage couldnt fit us in the next day (understandable) they did fit us in first appointment the following day. We were thrilled, and what really helped us was knowing right away that we didnt have to worry about a fire in our house, with our dogs, while we were sleeping or away. Johnathan was great when he arrived, techs wore booties in the house which was a nice touch, called when on their way, and were very thorough in looking at all concerns for what caused the issue. He also mentioned a few side considerations, and offered pricing if we wanted it, but was not forceful about it. He educated us a lot on the electrical workings of our house, and answered any question we had! We appreciated the service so much, and highly recommend.
