I really like how they have consistently and timely called to let me know they’re on their on the way. Most of my appointments have been earlier than scheduled and they call to check availability. I purchased the unit new in 2020. Ryan was the tech who performed my semi-annual maintenance and he was thorough and explained what he performed. He was kind and respectful. Thank you for the detailed maintenance to ensure my heat pump continues to run efficiently and effectively!

We have used this company's services on several occasions, including an emergency when we had no heat after a winter storm. Every person I have ever had contact with has been genuine, professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. They show up when they're supposed to, they are reasonably priced, and they don't add unnecessary costs or work to raise the prices up. This is a top notch business that I am so happy we found. We will continue to use their services, and i strongly recommend them to anybody looking for a quality company to take care of their heating/ cooling system.

This the second home I have had Comfort Heating and Air replace exiting units in. The first was my parents how about 4 years ago and the the my home the first of June 2022. After getting three bids (they were the middle pricing) I decided to go with them again due to the excellent service Ryan Woodall provided in the estimate each time and getting everything line up the first time. The first of three crews shown up at 8:00am to start on the upstairs unit and the second crew got started around 9:00am, not sure when the third crew arrived, but yes 3 crews knocking it out. Our upstairs unit was toast and the main level had had issues in the past and they were installed when we built the home 14 years ago. By 4:00pm both units were up and running and the house cooling down. Nice job on the clean up and very courteous employees. I went with the 16 sear units and you cannot hear them running in the house anymore, in fact you have to walk up to the now to know if the are running. The efficiency of the units is already paying of as we have seen a drop in the electric usage for the past month and 4 degrees hotter on average than last year. My incentive for using them again is their warranty program and it's transferable with no strings attached like joining some comfy club. In the end they are a top notch company with great employees, you will be happy you you did. So I have 3 units, 5 ton, 3 ton, 2 ton units they have installed all 16 sear unit and no issues. Our Comfort Level is HIGH.

He did not find anything wrong at the time with our unit, but he double checked everything to ensure our unit was running correctly. We were very pleased with their Service. They were able to schedule us for the very next day with a 2-6p window. They even called the next am and said they could have someone out sooner. The Tech was very kind and professional. He was able to quickly diagnose our issue and gave us a wealth of information on how to prevent it in the future. Their service felt very honest and was a great value. We also signed up for their Bi-annual Maintenance Service, to help keep our HVAC in its best shape. We will definitely be using them again!

Worked with this company for about a year. They serviced my ac & furnace. When furnace died they replaced it, insulated ducts, sealed boots, and replaced the return grill with a flush mount. The sales people are super friendly, but not pushy, the techs work quickly, and it doesn't hurt that several of the comfort men are easy on the eyes. Today's service was provided by Ryan. He didn't smoke or smell of smoke. Checked the equipment and followed up with me to let me know my system was ready for winter. Will continue doing business with this company.

Comfort Heating and Air has been amazing for our home. They helped us to get the most life out of our old heating system. When it was time for an upgrade, their staff worked with us to get a system installed quickly, and at a great price. When our old air conditioning unit broke in the hottest week of 2022, they showed up immediately to get us back in cooler air. It took several trips out, but they found the leak and had a new system installed the next business day! Ryan helped us to pick a unit that was in our budget and Alex and John did our install. Everyone was amazingly informative and professional and helped fix our issues!

Our heating had an issue, but we could not find out what part had the problem. The guy form the Comfort heating came and look through the furnace and found out the part not working. He nicely and gently explained what happened and is going to happen and cared customers thoughtfully. The issue was resolved in an hour, and everything worked very fine thereafter. Fantastic company with unmatched customer service. Our system has been on its way out for quite some time. I called them on a Friday morning the weekend of Christmas, and they had a guy out here by noon too give me a quote. Ryan (their guy) was super personal and walked me through all the options. After agreeing on a unit and price, they had a team of guys out here to get it done as fast as possible the following Monday. We were only without heat for 45 minutes during the installation, and they had the whole HVAC system replaced in one hour. Great experience, 10/10 recommend.

The issue with my inside unit is: it is a Trane unit that is 18 years old. There seemed to be no way out of what will be a cold winter - perhaps kerosene or expensive propane heaters. Bryan Meads from CH&A showed up and offered us several choices for a new inside and outside heat pump system. He answered all of our questions and was forthcoming with what to expect. Longer story short, Bryan maintained my business and admiration for COMFORT HEATING AND AIR. When I called Bryan today to give the project a green light he answered the phone and remembered most of our conversation from 3 days ago. Made me feel like I was a concern for him not just a customer. Chris and his partner arrived at the stated time. They were both kind, courteous, professional and answered all my questions.They removed the old system and installed the new one in about 6 hours. Cleaned up better than they found it too. The work time was quoted 6-8 hours, to install a new inside and outside unit; they arrived, worked, finished, cleaned, and left in 4.5 hours. Very friendly and professional work crew. I was also relieved that they arrived with boot covers and plastic covering to up and down the steps/carpeted areas. Would recommend!

According to J.R and Chase, my units come with 12 years No Hassle Warranty which you will not be able to find this type of warranty with any other companies. That was the main reason that I decided to go with Comfort Heating & Air. The other reason was because of Chase came to my house after working all day to recheck the environment to make sure that I have enough air flow for upgrading from 2 ton to 2.5 ton unit. We had our air unit stop. They responded quickly. And everything checked out good. We were informed of some preventative maintenance that we were recommended to do. There was no hard sales pitch. Repairman was extremely professional. We have been using them for years, and had to replace our unit in 2021. They were quick to deliver and get everything set up. I had home owners insurance (Will never waste my time or money on such insurance. Specifically speaking of Choice Home Warranty. Horror story for a different time.) and wasted time dealing with them on the phone when they, yet again would deny another claim. I called comfort that day and Josh Crosby came at 9 o’clock AT NIGHT to come and see if he could fix it. Unfortunately my unit was 20 yrs old and needed to be replaced. David came to my home the next day to take measurements notes and provide me with options of what my home needed too keep it nice and cool but still took in mind that my furnace still had some life in it and did not need to be replaced just yet, keeping some of the costs down. (Thanks David) After seeing all of the options - prices of various units, warranties, finance options my decision was easy and there for a while thought it would be wise too keep shopping. But lets face it, who would offer a 12 year no hassle warranty and 12 months financing same as cash? Then the scheduling came, again easy to work with. Matt and John (I think that’s his name) both were at my home on time. Both gentlemen were extremely professional. Came too out the old unit, installed the new one and were in and out approximately 4 hours. Even though it’s hard work, both guys never stopped smiling. Awesome group of people. My home, my family and my puppers are extremely thankful for the amazing service. My home has never felt better. Will keep using them for regular maintenance in the coming years.

I called Comfort on Friday morning, after our AC died that morning. With the weekend, there weren't openings till Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday, the tech arrived in a timely manner and diagnosed the issue quickly. While it wasn't good news, he was able to provide me with options and we decided to install a new blower (the part that failed). I have an older unit and they happened to have one remaining blower in stock. Our tech had to drive back to Lexington to retrieve it (we live in Georgetown) and return to install the blower. Service call lasted an hour and AC is working. I'll call Comfort again, for future services. Thank you.

We needed a new A/C and Comfort offered a competitive price, as well as good timing on the installation date. Installation proceeded smoothly, the crew (Leo and Brian) were great to work with, and the air quality was immediately better (not just better than with no A/C, but much better than our previous system that had been installed 11.5 years earlier). Needed a follow-up visit to rectify some minor problems, and the technician (Nick) was excellent - he was friendly and efficient, and he made sure we were completely happy with the final setup before he left.

Five stars is simply not enough…. After five weeks living through a home warranty “repair” nightmare (read never happened) my wife and I decided to ditch the repair and have our old system replaced. Called the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, and they had THE BEST salespeople (for lack of a better term) come and quote us a new system and not try to sell us something we did not need on Tuesday. Here it is on Wednesday, the NEXT DAY(!) and we have our new A/c installed by two very personable professionals. End your search here! I cannot recommend Comfort enough. Five stars is not enough!

Where to start…. My HVAC unit in the house I just bought was 24 years old. 2 nights ago I went upstairs with my 6 month old and 3 year old only to notice my ceiling was dripping water. After a check in the attic my husband confirmed the hvac drain line was leaking severely so we turned off the hvac upstairs. This caused the HVAC in the basement to overwork and freeze over so water was pouring into my basement. Needless to say - I needed new units immediately. I quoted two different companies and chose to go with comfort heat and air, not just for their extremely competitive pricing (they came in 3,000 under the other quote), but they were able to secure the units I love - Carrier Infinity. Hands down, best HVAC service ever. Mike the owner has practically acted as a concierge service helping me not only get my HVAC installed NEXT DAY, but has helped me find reputable contractors to resolve the other lingering issues from my ceiling falling apart. Comfort heating and air sent a crew of over 8 people who managed to install an upstairs attic and downstairs basement unit while removing any sign I even had another unit. They worked tirelessly throughout the day but stayed friendly until they pulled out of my driveway at 7:00 PM yesterday. Chris the lead HVAC installer was extraordinarily knowledgeable and kind - answering all questions, even theoretical questions about various system configurations. Comfort heating and air goes beyond any HVAC company I’ve ever seen in my life and this is my second whole home double unit replacement. Honestly I thought my last install was wonderful, but didn’t realize there was a next level of service that could be offered. Comfort heating and air just invented new customer service levels to achieve. We bought our house less than 6 months ago. We called Comfort for a preventative maintenance check on our system due to it being winter. They found issues with our system that explained why our bill had been rising. There was a refrigerant leak. The first person scheduled the test and returned a few days later with another tech. After 5 hours of work and not finding a leak they set up an appointment with their master tech to check and help us find the issue a couple days later. I was very impressed with how the company collaborated with each other on issues they needed help with instead of just doing guess work to get the job done. They seemed to really care about correcting the issue. When Mark came and worked on it and checked it, he agreed that the issue was the valve that the previous two guys thought it was. Instead of immediately trying to replace it he tried to fix it and keep me from having to spend a lot of $. Once we realized it wasn’t going to work, they presented me with 3 options of replacing the part, replacing the outdoor unit, and replacing the entire system. They did not pressure me in either direction. The office, the sales people, the techs, the installers, and the manager were all very helpful and responsive to our needs. Even given that we were in the middle of a pandemic surge and snowstorm, they dealt with us start to finish in barely more than a week even with our complicated issues. I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with the entire company. I highly recommend them!

A/C started making a really awful screeching noise on a Saturday afternoon. Was feeling scared and hopeless that the A/C was doomed and that nobody would be able to come look at it for at least a few days. Called Comfort Heating and Air on Saturday afternoon, received absolutely impeccable and polite customer service over the phone, and they sent a technician out immediately. Technician's name was Trevis and he was flawless. He was receptive and patient as I described the problem and he went into the crawlspace to take a look at it. I went down there with him to watch him work and he was methodical, careful, and demonstrated an uncommon expertise with the equipment. He fixed my problem, pointed out a couple other things that should probably be fixed for the sake of the longevity of the A/C system, and he quoted me on the spot before asking whether I wanted him to perform those services. Can't recommend this company enough (and specifically the technician Trevis, ask for him and he'll take great care of you with his professionalism and attention to detail)

These guys showed up first thing in the morning, and had our whole new system installed by 3:30. That’s a new outside unit, new furnace, new inside a/c unit, and new wires and boxes and such. They even had to redo a significant portion of piping because of the tightness of the closet the system is in. So they were on time, fast, thorough, and polite. I have no complaints! The price was equal to what a competitor wanted with a big discount (that you pay back to said competitor, at $9.99 a month, forever…So the competitor’s discount is more like a long-term loan.). With Comfort, I didn’t have to join a maintenance club to get the discount. And the warranty Comfort offers is longer, and actually covers replacement parts. (I recently had a condensor motor (I think…) replaced under warranty through their competitor that still cost 2 grand… It’s my understanding that won’t happen with Comfort at least for 12 years.) The salesman that came for the quote did a nice job of explaining everything, and helped me understand the difficulties we faced due to our specific set up, which I really appreciated. Five stars for the Comfort Man!

Be careful when they sell you a unit . I was sold the top of the line unit that my duct work can not handle. After 2 season I started getting mold growth in the walls due to condensation from the duct work sweating. The company should have inspected the existing duct work and addressed those problems before Selling me the unit . I have had very poor communication with them trying to get this resolved. I was told that the unit that I spent top dollar on would solve my cooling needs . If I knew about the duct work I would have fixed that problem first and got a cheaper unit . Now they want to charge me to fixing the duct work that should of be done before they upsold me the unit . They we’re supposed to call me back after the last time I spoke with them , that was 2 weeks ago. So I ended up cutting the drywall out that was growing mold to expose the duct work that has condensation , Im going wait to see if they call me back before contacting my insurance company because its mold and could be a health issue. UPDATE: 10/30/2019 I was contacted by the owner Mike Buckley the day after writing this review . He personally came out to my home to address the issues i was having . After have a pleasant conversation , we came to a solution that i am satisfied with. He was extremely professional and went above my expectation . Thank you

Chase, who came out to provide me with the initial quote, really took the time to explain everything to me step by step. I went from knowing absolutely nothing about how an HVAC system works to having a pretty good understanding of everything. It really helped to prepare me with knowledge as I was gathering quotes from other vendors. He also took the time to prepare me several different quotes to meet out needs, as well as budget. Can't speak enough about my experience with him. The installers who came were both very professional. They took the time to wear protective covers on their shoes and lay down plastic material to ensure they didn't get our carpet dirty. The installation itself for a complete system replacement took right around 6 hours. The technician took the time to train me on how to use the Google Nest thermostat and walked me through any questions I had. Comfort has gained a lifetime customer with my experience, and if you are looking for a good provider, look no further.

We were without heat and a major weather arctic storm was forecast for the next week. I talked to a neighbor about this and was told that they really liked Comfort Heating and Air. I called to ask about having someone look at my really old system, I had JR on his way within 30 minutes, after a few test told me my problem and the best thing to do was to remove the old system and replace it with a new more efficient system. He call the office to get this started right away. We met with Ryan, he as super friendly also and got things started. The next day the crew came to start removing the old system and started building the new system‼️ Leonid and Doug removed the old, built the new, and hooked up the system so we had heat in one day, with them completing the AC the next day. Great service and great people to work with. We have to say they were all super nice and very concerned about our problems. Update Review: 10/9/10 Had chase come out to give a quote on 2 new furnaces because we had originals to the house and he was honest, helpful, and we decided to have them installed. We even got the nest thermostats which we love already. I wanted to write my review on our experience with comfort heating and air. First of all before the call we had been waiting for our ac unit to be fixed for 23 days. I contacted them on a Sunday evening, and Kim responded to me and called me the following day In the morning. She had Chase come out that day and that Tuesday they were installing a new ac unit to our house. We had AC again after a long month of hot muggy humid weather. I almost forgot they let us borrow a window unit until the new unit was installed which cooled the lower level of our house. It was a class acted and we want to thank the whole team, from Kim to chase to to our installer all professional and very polite. I would recommend them to anyone.

It was like they cared enough to find out what the issue was. It was determined that due to age and me selling soon, it would be best to have the unit replaced. Comfort came out just a couple hours after we called them to assess our non-functioning heat pump. They were thorough and offered us a repair or replace on our 14 year old HP. The next day JR came out and wrote up a detailed offer for a new system and we were approved on line for same-as-cash payments. The very next day they came out and replaced our system. We unexpectedly needed electrical wiring to support our more powerful unit and Comfort had an electrician come out to re-wire at no additional cost. We maybe could have gotten our unit at a lower cost but getting three bids would have taken many days (brrr), and we now also have seasonal checks/tune-ups on our system and replacement of system if needed for the next 12 years! We're happy! Everyone from Comfort was knowledgeable, friendly, wore masks and booties. Thanks Comfort!

I just bought a house and the heat wasn't working properly on move-in day. Thought it was just a thermostat issue, but I couldn't get the old one off the wall to try to put in a new one myself. So I called around for a thermostat installation quote, and Comfort was the only place that would happily install one if I chose to purchase it from Lowes or wherever. They were also one of the few to give me a quote over the phone, had a more reasonable rate than the other companies, and could send someone out the same day so we wouldn't be without heat for too long. Chris P. was our tech and he was very friendly. In the course of installing the thermostat, he found a HUGE issue with our furnace and immediately went into problem solving mode to figure out the best way to fix it and how much it would cost in terms of materials and labor. He explained everything thoroughly, gave a very reasonable quote, and did not make me feel pressured at all to "make the sale." He spent a lot of time answering all my questions and didn't make me feel like he was in a rush. They fixed it the very next day. Spent all day getting the job done right. No hidden charges. I'm VERY pleased. He did say they were unusually slow and that's why they were able to do the repair so quickly. Call these folks! They are too good to be having slow business!!

I am super impressed with this company. I called them after receiving subpar service from other HVAC services. It was wonderful to find a company that responds quickly and professionally to even customers who, basically, wander in off the street. I finally grew tired of the runaround I was getting from my current service and pulled Comfort off a Google review. They had a tech call me back within minutes, and a service call bright and early the next morning. At which point I discovered the perfidy of the other companies I had tried using. There was severe weather moving in, and my system was on it's last legs, which I was already suspecting. They offered me a choice; repair or replace. But warned that the repair was expensive with no guarantee that it would hold for long on my old system. Ultimately, I opted for replacement, as I should have already done. The day of the installation was terrible. My hillside drive was solid ice. But they figured out how to make it work, and my new system was installed forthwith. Beating the Arctic cold and snow that was coming in. I'm am super impressed with Comfort, and I rarely, if ever, give a five star rating to any company. But they earned it. I've had nothing but friendly, professional service from everyone I've had contact with.

I would recommend this company to anyone. I had the sensor and defrost board go out of my heat pump and the tech Tony came out on time and diagnosed the problem and had parts ordered before he left. When he received the parts within less than a hour he had the heat pump working like it’s supposed to. We installed a new hvac system in 2017. On Wednesday May 19 we finally had to turn the AC on. Unfortunately it would not get cooler or lower temp. Went outside noticed the fan was not working. We called Comfort the next day and they scheduled someone to take a look. Trevis came out and said the compressor was bad and would need to be replaced. Trevor said it would be under warranty and he would call to order a replacement. A few hours later I gotta call from Comfort saying they would be replacing the entire unit at no charge. The replacement unit also was upgraded to a 16 seer. They were able to schedule the replacement for this afternoon and they just finished up. Leonid and one other guy made quick work of removing old unit and replacing the new one. I want thank everyone at comfort heating and air for there stellar customer service and quick response. The AC fan motor quit on my Mother's unit. They arrived quickly and diagnosed the problem. Fan motor arrived several days after promised and was installed. One of the screws broke off while the guy was putting it on. He had to call to reorder a new motor. They wanted us to pay that day but we refused. Was called a few days later to say they would be out to fix the motor between 10-2 the next day. I drove 45 mins to my Mom's and sat from 9:30 till 2pm. I called them and they had not pulled the ticket to send a repair man out. Needless to say, this was not a good experience.

Sorry for a late review but please read this if you're in a AC crisis and still pending on which service to go with. My heater was down in the middle of this cold winter and Comfort HVAC absolutely saved my winter. At first we thought it's just some malfunctions in parts of the furnace (12+ years old) and their technician, Kevin, did change the part and fix it for us in a very timely manner. However, he noticed that the shape of the flame looked abnormal (I saw it too, def not a scam) and thought the problem could be much more complicated. He checked the carbon monoxide level in my house and yes, the old burner has been leaking CO for a while. He therefore shut down the entire system for our safety and sent Chase to our place. Chase is very professional as well. He provided more than 4 options of furnace/home systems with very detailed illustrations of pros and cons of each options. I actually called 4 other companies to check the price of replacing a furnace and what Chase gave me (the cheapest option among what he provided) is the cheapest among all the prices I gathered. The entire process was smooth and professional. He never pushed me towards any particular option and I ended up very happy with what I choose! The entire service and installation were fast and professional. Will call them again if i ever need help and for sure I will recommend this service to my friends.

My "Comfort Advisor," (Taylor) made sure that I fully understood all of my options and presented me with a detailed competitive offer. Update: Comfort responded promptly to my review and provided additional work with no additional labor charges to help troubleshoot the issue. We won't really know if it worked until the weather heats up again, but I do appreciate the responsiveness to my review and the willingness to work with me on our problem. The good: Techs were professional and courteous and took time to troubleshoot our issue (albeit unsuccessfully). The bad: I paid over $1,000 to fix my leaking air conditioner. It is still leaking; the repair did not work. I was told nearly 4 weeks ago that a manager would call me. I sent a detailed follow-up email 2 weeks ago, after not hearing from anyone, again asking for someone to contact me to discuss my concerns. I still have not received a response. As a result, I cannot confidently recommend this company because there seems to be a lack of interest in resolving my problem or merely addressing my concerns now that I've paid them. Customer satisfaction does not seem to be a priority.

More than two years ago I had excellent service from Comfort Heating and Air when we had to update an ancient system at our house. Last Friday night when the AC went out at close to midnight we called the number and got someone on the phone right away. True 24 hour service. We spoke to a technician that night and he came by early in the morning. Here is where it became complicated and why Comfort Air truly stood out; the supply chain disruptions of the pandemic made tracking down the needed parts a major headache. The supplier first said the part would only be available in September (it’s July as I write this) and the office scrambled to track down the part, locating it in Utah and Louisville. The first part to arrive didn’t match up. The second part was from the wrong production year. After three visits where the technicians came and were not able to resolve the problem due to the parts shortage, Mike, the owner, called me himself and set everything right. Comfort and Heating was not in any way at fault for the mechanical failure, but Mike said he stands by his company and it absolutely shows, because my wife and I are enjoying great AC on a hot day in Lexington. Above all we’re grateful for Comfort Heating and Air’s outstanding service and for Mike and all his staff who stand by their work. After a truly lousy and disruptive year, it was great to see. Go with the best, go with Mike and Comfort Heating and Air.

My AC went out on Labor Day. I thought I could tough it out until cooler weather and put off the expense, but the 95+ degree daytime temps and 80 degree night temps got the better of me. I got 3 quotes. One was a little lower than Comfort, but Mike, the owner of Comfort, seemed to be more interested in getting the job. Absolutely rude and unprofessional! I've had someone(different company) come out three times to look at unit in the past month. On June 30th, we needed 1lb of freon, but unit was fine. This past weekend (about a week and half later)our unit went out. I called today(Monday) to have the same company come out and take a look. Now I need 3 LB of freon bc there is a leak. I called Comfort heating and air to see what they would charge to find the leak. The gentleman who I spoke with did not want to hear what I had to say at all. Basically told me I did not know what I was talking about and pretty much just brushed me off. From the time we contacted Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning, it has been an excellent experience. Emily at the office was very helpful in getting our visit set up; I had mistakenly purchased a heater tune-up instead of an A/C tune-up. Emily immediately got my mistake resolved and set me up for the correct maintenance. Jonathan H., the technician, came to our home. The office called when he was on his way, and he arrived early in the time window they had given us. Jonathan was very courteous, knowledgeable, and insured we were on the same page as far as the work to be done. I mentioned that our A/C, while being a fairly new unit, had trouble keeping up with cooling our house on the hottest days. Our air handler is in the attic, and this is where Jonathan went above and beyond in his duties. He crawled through our very tight attic and inspected the ducting. He found an issue that has gone undiscovered through many other inspections; a crimped air return duct that was most assuredly causing our cooling issues. He repaired the duct, and finished his inspection of the outside unit. He reported a low freon level, and asked if we would like him to take care of it, and we agreed. I appreciated he checked with us to ensure we wanted the additional maintenance done. We have immediately noticed the difference in the cooling of our home; it is apparent that Jonathan's excellent troubleshooting did the trick. Our experience with Comfort Heating and Air has been absolutely stellar, and highly recommend this company.

I have a 14-year-old dual-fuel system with a heat pump and a gas furnace. I’ve had comfort come out three times in the last four years: twice in the dog days of two different summers, and once in the dead of winter. All three times, the Comfort technician came out immediately, diagnosed the problem correctly, and retrieved and installed the parts to fix the problem fast and on the first try. Their focus truly seems to be on getting your system working to get you comfortable as fast as possible. All three times there was just one small part that needed to be replaced, and never once did they try to sell me on something more than what I needed. The most recent Comfort technician to come out, Ryan M, after expertly fixing my furnace, even took the time to answer my extra questions about the system and double-check the furnace, the heat pump, and the thermostat — at my request — for subsequent problems just to be sure. I’m telling you, if you’re on the fence I would not hesitate to call them. After three good experiences, I feel totally confident recommending them to anyone.

We have a 4 1/2 yr. old GEOTHERMAL ClimateMaster System...top of the line (two units). For 4 1/2 yrs. we have had to have someone come out during bitter cold weather and no heat to service our system. It would shut down because of low suction...countless times. Unfortunately, the company that installed our GEO "Greenergy" went out of business and because of that we have to pay service calls for another company to come out. Prior to 'Greenergy" going out of business we had to have one system completely replaced. We have had Synergy out several times and they would find things that were not properly installed or never hooked up. Even then the system would eventually fault again with low suction. Not long ago we thought we would try someone local "Gibson Heating & Air" in Georgetown. They sent someone out and he said we needed a new board. After a long wait and poor communication we finally got on Gibson's schedule to replace the board. Recently, you guessed it, our system defaulted again. We called COMFORT Heating & Air...one of their technicians named Mark came out to service our system. Mark found that the new board was never programmed as well as several other program issues in both systems. Even our emergency back up heat wasn't programmed into the system. We have been waiting to post a review because at this point as one could imagine...we were a little gun shy. This is the first time that our system appears to be fixed. WARNING BE AWARE that not everyone knows how to work on nor is qualified to work on GEOTHERMAL. Make sure that the tech has been certified through ClimateMaster and the business is an Elite Dealer if ClimateMaster is the system you have. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO MARK!!! Thank-you for your expertise and allowing us to experience true comfort since Jan. 10th 2022...will keep you posted! Thanks again

The technician (as always) was courteous prompt and professional. We are very satisfied with the forced-air system installed in the lower level of the house but very disappointed with the mini-split system installed upstairs. We have had multiple service calls to replace pumps, drain lines, etc. yet we continue to have problems with leaks and poor performance. Two guys came out in the morning to install a replacement A/C unit. They got the new A/C installed in a typical time-range, 3-4 hours, but there were some additional problems that arose during the install (not due to any fault of theirs). They kept working on it and stayed until around 8pm to finish the job. My house is so much more comfortable after sweating out a hot weekend. Very professional and dedicated! Every experience I've had with Comfort has been better than times I've tried other companies. Comfort is definitely my first choice in the Lexington, KY area.

Very quick response to a/c failure in the middle of a heat wave. Honest assessment by the technician, who told us the patch repair to our 25-year old system may fail in a day, a week, a month, or a year. We chose to replace the entire system. For me, it was an easy decision to use Comfort Heating and Air to replace my HVAC system. After some homework on my part and considering a recommendation, I requested an estimate. Within a few hours, Chase Buckley arrived at my door with a very informative presentation. He reinforced that Comfort Heating and Air had been in business many years with excellent ratings. They have a hard to beat 10 year NO HASSLE replacement warranty, which is transferable to the new homeowner if property is sold. And I should mention that a 12 month-same as cash- financing was offered. Chase laid everything out on paper and explained it thoroughly. Three days later, the project was completed by installers Robert and Ryan. They were courteous and professional and worked diligently to complete both heating and air in one day. And may I add, the temps were in the 90's with heat index of 100. Hats off to Kim Taylor, who coordinated the project so well. My experience with Comfort Heating and Air was excellent and painless.

This has been the most amazing company I have ever worked with, regardless of industry. I had an electrical fire in my downstairs unit on Wednesday around 3-4pm, that same day, not 20 minutes later, a tech was at my house assessing the damage. Unfortunately the fire ruined the unit and it needed to be replaced. That SAME DAY, another 20-30 minutes later, another tech was out and quoted us for a full system replacement with varying price options. I'am very pleased with Comfort Heating and Air. My A/C went out on a Friday sometime during the day. As I got home around 8:30 at night my house was reading 99 degrees. I called other big names heating and air companies in Lexington and no one could come out until the next day. I then called Comfort Heating and Air and they said they could have a Tech out that night. Roughly around 12:10 am I had a phone call and that is when Jonathan called and said he was outside my house and was ready to look at the A/C unit. I let him inside and it seemed like in no time he had everything working again and my house started to cool. I am very thankful for them showing up and taking care of my A/C unit. No other company wold show up even though they advertise 24 hrs a day. So I would definitely recommend Comfort Heating and Air. Our old heat pump system was nearing the 15 year mark and I decided that it would be better to be proactive in the replacement of the system. After talking to Mike at Comfort Heating & Air, he provided us with a great quote for a replacement system. The installation guys, Kevin and Jonathan, showed up promptly, were very professional, and installed the new system in no time at all. They explained what they were doing throughout the process, as I was all questions. They even installed a new thermostat that I had purchased separately. They cleaned up nicely when finished and provided all the needed operating information. They explained that they would be back out for the bi-annual check in the fall. Our HVAC died this past Thursday and we ended up having to replace it. We went with Comfort Heating & Air for the whole process. Couldn't be happier with the result. Chase came out and did a thorough evaluation of our house to see what we'd need, then showed us our options, which made it easy to make the right decision for us. The next morning, Cody and Richard came over and did the whole installation in a few hours, including moving the outdoor unit to the side of our house instead of under our bedroom window where the old unit was. Arrived home from vacation and went to sleep in a warm house but woke up to a freezing house! To make matters worse, my elderly parents live with us, and they're very sensitive to cold temperatures! After calling a few different places, we finally stumbled upon this gem of a company that offers military discounts! After contacting their service line, we were told one of their technicians would call us in 30 minutes. J.R. called in 5 minutes and even gave an ETA of 20 minutes but arrived in 15! Keep in mind, this all happened on a Sunday afternoon! J.R. was beyond professional and had our problem solved in less than 30 minutes! He even took the time to explain everything to us and provided us with some much needed education! He even gave us some advice for the near future! He was an excellent extension of what this company is about! We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of service and the very fair prices! In December we had a new heating and cooling unit installed by comfort. They did a great job with the unit getting it back going to get heat to the house again. We also bought two nest thermostats that were install for both our units in December. Fast forward to about two months ago when we turned our air on and one of the units was not working. Frustrated I called and they ended up coming up to tell me that it had been set up wrong and could have been using more energy then needed over the winter causing the air to run in the winter instead of the heat using our electric heat strips instead. When I brought this up to the sales person on the phone they laughed it off and never did return my call to set up my service. The day I had told them I was available someone called and told me that they were going to be there in about a half hour. I was able o get home from work, but since it was never communicated back to me they would actually be coming out it was frustrating. When they came out for service the older unit was working fine and we were told it was all good and running correctly. He did say we might need more coolant but since it was starting to raid said we would have to call to make another appointment to get the coolant. Since the service to the unit it’s run even more and can’t even keep the upstairs cool anymore. Frustrated because in the beginning I would have given 5 stars to the service but over the last 7 months my opinion has changed since it seems like everyone was in a hurry or didn’t listen recently. Update: Currently working with the owner to fix the problem. Thanks for helping take care of this issue and looking forward to talking with you further about how we can finish fixing the issue.

Spring 2021 We had Chase came out and quoted us for a new heat pump and replacing our 11 year old Trane. Much quieter and runs better. Great install from their crew. This is the second house we’ve used you all. Spring 2020. Different house. New issue. Chris came out. Told us the issue. It’s a leak and he is going to come back out and check on it. Very responsive and great service. Spring 2018 Update: Our 18 year old unit died. Once again we called on these guys for help. It died on Easter. Someone came out that day, and even the owner called us to make sure we were taken care of. They put in a new system for us. Did a great job and love the nest thermostat. I wish we could have kept the quote from 2 years ago but prices go up and I get that. Would recommend these guys. Our new system is quiet! Summer 2016: Called these guys to have my A/C unit fixed. I called on a Sunday and had them out to my house the next day. Worked with Sam, he came over and was very professional. Quoted us on a new unit and the cost to fix our current unit. We ended just fixing the unit and it works great! I would recommend.

Comfort did a great job. Our one unit decided to die over a weekend. We contacted Bryant and their quote was VERY high for a single unit. Comfort was able to replace BOTH units for just a little more than Bryant's original quote. They even spent an extra half hour talking with Honeywell directly when our wifi units wouldn't connect.

Comfort Heating & Air was great. Our old heater/air-conditioner was in bad shape; two service calls in the past 3-4 months and then another problem Saturday morning. We called Comfort Heating & Air, repairman came out and explained the issues and the repair cost. The cost of trying to repair an old unit wasn't worth it. So we asked for bid on a whole new unit. They came out that after, got a bid and Monday Comfort came out installed a new, efficient, warranteed unit -- with a Nest thermostat. It's great and all the folks at Comfort did a great job.

This company is top of the line. Great customer service is very important to Comfort Heating & Air, just as the owner, Mike told me when I first called in for a quote for 2 AC units. We have had heating and air issues off and on for over 3 years since buying our home and have never been very comfortable, even after repairs. We have froze in the winters and have burnt up in the summers. Ryan came out the same day I called and carefully evaluated the issues in our home to determine exactly what would be best. He sat down with us, explained the products, our options, broke every detail down, was happy to answer any questions, & was never pushy. I was contacted by a dispatcher the next morning and had a service technician out by 11am and my furnace was fixed by noon! Their service technician J.R. was great. He was very professional and knew exactly what was wrong and clearly explained what our options were. The price seemed fair and I'm a happy customer. This was one of the most professional and great customer service experiences I've had in quite some time. From the time I made the first phone call to the time my issue was resolved was in less than 24 hours. This was huge for me because I've been playing phone tag for weeks with other HVAC companies and the earliest I was only able to get an appointment was one week out. The initial call to Comfort Heating & Air was quick and efficient in regards to getting the appointment set up, and the receptionist was very polite and courteous, and seemed to have a good base knowledge of types of services and timeframes. The technician that came out was John Speed who was very knowledgeable and fixed the issue quickly. On top of that, he hooked up his hose and cleaned my A/C unit when he was finished! That is above and beyond in my opinion, where other experiences I've had was like a race for them to leave the house as quickly as possible. I was asking many questions during the process so I could learn for myself as well, and he had an answer for all my questions and answered them in a way for me to easily understand. The price was less than we were expecting as well, which made me and my wife very happy! Top notch operation from top to bottom. I highly recommend this company, and I wish there were more out there that valued customer service like this one does.

I had a great experience with Comfort Heating and Air. I called early in the morning and got through to someone and was able to make an appointment for that same day. My time slot was between 12 and 3 and they came at 12:45, so I didn't have to sit around waiting all day. Brian Lanham came out and was able to quickly identify the problem. He was here for about an hour and my house was already cooled down by the time he left. He was very nice and explained to me everything he was checking.
