Matt repaired the dryer vent in my new house a few weeks ago that had been disconnected in the crawlspace and needed proper supports. He also did an airflow test to determine if the vent needed to be cleaned. The whole process took barely any time and I was blown away with how fairly priced his services are. He also left my laundry room cleaner than he found it. Highly recommend!

Matt was unbelievably thorough and did an amazing job! Our drying time was around 90 minutes for a few towels and he came and cleared everything out, secured our ducts in the crawl space, and even gave us helpful tips in a follow-up email. All of the service he provided was at an extremely affordable and reasonable price. He said he also repairs appliances so I wouldn’t hesitate to call him for any sort of repair. I have been complaining about my dryer for at least a year. It has been taking me multiple cycles, who knows how much energy, to get 1 load of laundry dry. My coworker gave me the number for Matt, Dryerventguy1. Let me tell you, he was worth it! He cleaned out the vent from dryer to outside and took apart the dryer and cleaned it out. He was very professional and educational. I had no idea that’s something you should have done periodically. I clean out the lint catcher every load and at least once a year pull out the dryer and clean the back and the connection to the wall. Still, you should have seen the pictures of the build up and potential fire hazard. If you notice your dryer is taking extra time to dry I highly recommend Matt!

Matt was awesome! He was very knowledgeable in what he was doing. He explained why he was performing certain tasks. He also told pictures to show before and after. He cleaned the job site when finished. You couldn't even tell he was there after he left. I also believe he went above and beyond what he charged me, which is rare in these days. Best part, though, was talking to him and getting to know him. He is a great guy with a great attitude. It was obvious that he enjoys what he does! I will be calling on him in the future if I have issues. I will also recommend him to anybody that needs their dryer worked on!!! Great job, Matt!!! Our vents were totally clogged and he was able to clear them as well as repairing ducts that had come apart and replacing the outflow vent to keep our system running optimally. He also put a ventilated 'cap' over the outside part of the vent to try to help keep critters from getting into the vent. He recently came back for the annual check up this year, and I plan to use him every year also in the future - he provides a much needed service, which helps my dryer run more efficiently and safely. Matt made our dryer seem like brand new! When I heard the name The Dryer Vent Guy, I was only thinking he took care of dryer vents. But he actually did a detail on the inside of our dryer. He removed the front panel and got everything cleaned from the inside of the dryer through all the hidden parts too. I never thought it sounded loud or bad but not it sounds quieter and you can tell it's better. We are going to have him come every year or two to maintain our dryer! He is such a nice guy too!

Matt swept our chimney when he was just starting out in San Angelo, TX. He did an excellent job. He crawled all the way through our tiny attic without any complaints, took his time and was very thorough. We had our chimney cleaned again before we moved by another guy (because Matt had already moved to Arkansas) and he said it was the cleanest chimney he had ever seen.
