We have 3 properties (2 rentals and a primary home) and Advantage Service has been our service company for at least 6 years and we've only had great experiences! I have used this company exclusively since we moved into our home for plumbing and HVAC servicing. We have a yearly service contract and have been happy with our experiences for the past 3 years including any issues that popped up. An issue was found during a routine service, the tech (Patrick) did a wonderful job identifying the problem, what was needed and even found that the part was under warranty. GREAT! Problems started with the repair. I have found several issues such as my unit not put together properly, a gas leak due to not tightening an area, missing oil drain caps and screws, and bending of main support frame. I went to contact the HVAC manager to remedy the quality of service received and has not returned my call at this time 12/4/19. Edit 12/10/19: Talked with company manager today who will be sending a senior tech to investigate unit. Edit 12/16/19: Manager called to inform me of senior tech (Patrick) and coworker’s (Randy)arrival time. Gentlemen were personable and heard my concerns. They remedied all issues with excellent customer service.

Share some information with anyone that needs their a/c, later heat, worked on for the house or business! I’ve been using Advantage Service Company for around 10-12 years and maybe longer. I used to deliver to them when I worked for a three letter work company later retired from them. Every time I had packages for them they were always nice to me, then my a/c at my house went out. Called them didn’t say a word about who I was just going to see how I would be treated. To my surprise they were the same friendly and nice and act like they wanted my business. They came out gave me a estimate and I got two or three more and a lot cheaper than the other estimates. Came out installed my new a/c unit outside and signed a agreement pre maintenance for summer and winter. That helped my unit to last longer but eventually things happened. I’ve been at my house for 19 years and the upper unit in my attic decided it had enough. We called got a estimate for a whole new system. They have a finance company just in case you don’t have all the money so we used them and with zero percent interest by the way! This new system is bad to the bone!!! Tells you how much humidity there is in the house and so many ways to program the system and more!! The outside unit is a third of the size of my old one and when it’s on you have no idea that it is on. I’m very pleased with the service, even after the installation, came with a unbelievable warranty!! House is cooler and my bill went down about $50- $75 a month difference!! I hope I helped out, I try my best!!!!

Great service! My unit would not come on so I called, the lady said she wouldn't be able to get someone out the next day. We hang up and 15 minutes later they called back to say they were on the way. I had got a quote from another company that told me I needed to replace a part. Their (advantage) guy came came flipped a switch and voila. Save me Hella cash! Thanks guys!!

Service was as quick as possible due to parts availability ( very old unit). Service was great. It took 3 service trips. The first trip was on a Sunday after hours to diagnose part had to be acquired from an electrical supply house which was done on Monday morning then the unit experienced some more parts failures the following day and they came out and repaired those failed the items. Unit is running fine now will be seeking a replacement from the same company. I've already talked with the representative about such.

My parents recently had water pipes replaced in their home. We received two quotes and Advantage came in half the price for the same work. They also finished the job in half the time the other company quoted. We received great customer service from the first call made to after the job was completed. Jeff and the guys with him were great to work with. Everyone was very friendly and went above and beyond my expectations. They even returned to handle a couple of repairable leaks that popped up with no hesitation. Great customer service! I would definitely recommend Advantage to anyone. Thanks guys!

I think my favorite thing about this company is they seem to hire great service techs. Every one of them has been friendly, courteous & knowledgeable. I got “Ma’am- ed” to death. I recommend Advantage Service Company to central Arkansas. Very pleased with Advantage! Didn’t particularly like an arrogant employee that helped install the a/c unit, but other than him the rest of the guys were respectful and professional. Maybe T was having a bad day. Danny was very helpful and respectful. As was I think his name was Brad. Each year I receive a call to make an appointment for a yearly service and inspection of my a/c unit that Advantage Service Company sold me and installed for me. I like that they call me bc I probably would forget. The Advantage employees that come for the service and inspection each year are lovely people. They let me know when they are headed my way so I know to expect them. Overall I have been extremely happy with Advantage Service Company, and I definitely recommend Advantage Service Company to anyone that is looking to service their a/c unit or wanting to buy.

Ted was the service person. I think Ted did a good -excellent job in 100 degree temperatures. I don’t know if charges were fair or not because I’ve not had enough HVAC services to compare. However, our units are blowing cold air and the one doesn’t rattle anymore. I expect Advantage to service and maintain our units again next year.

Currently using a home warranty service with another company...Mistake number one. Our A/C went out last night and we have the other company scheduled to come out and take a look. After three straight summers of quick fixes I presume it’s time to look at a new system. After seeing the not so favorable reviews of the service company that our warranty service uses, i decided to schedule a second opinion from Advantage since we had used them for service before in the past. They were honest and prudent when they came out last time. I received a call first thing in the morning from Jenny at Advantage. I explained the current situation with the warranty company and the other service company. Not only was she extremely friendly and shared in a few friendly jabs at the warranty company with me and she recommended that I wait to hear what the other company says and what they recommend first before getting an opinion from Advantage. Considering our house is currently 82 and we are miserable it was a breath of fresh air to not be pressured into immediately engaging in their services. Being in sales and service myself, I appreciate not being taken advantage of in time of desperation by the first point of contact. If my prediction of how the other company and warranty service goes is right, i will be calling them back to schedule service and or replacement. Great start to a potential transaction!

Relocated and reconnected our back flow device for our irrigation system that was backed over by a vehicle. Prompt trip for the quote. Worked us into the schedule the next week. Lawn irrigation system up and running the next week. Backflow device now out of the way in a better location. Price for the job was very reasonable. Good guys on the job. Great work.

Serviceman called to give 30 minute notice and tell me what time he would arrive. He arrived on time and found the problem. He repaired a leaking cracked pipe to HVAC caused by cold weather. Also explained what had happened to cause leak and told me about pipe wrapping services available with Advantage before the next winter season. Excellent service. I will definitely use Advantage HVAC services again. Amount charged was very reasonable and lower than expected. Overall A+ experience.

They always call ahead of time so I can bring my dogs inside if needed. Explained what was going to be done and what to expect. He found two switches that were burning out due to the age of the units and recommended they be replaced before the hot months. He showed me so I could inspect myself and had them replaced on the spot. Very courteous and easy to understand. Renewed my yearly contract with them for at least the 15th straight year!!

Air conditioning went out - not good on these hot days. Thought I would have to wait 3-4 days for service. Guess I got lucky as they came the same day I called. We live 48 miles from the Advantage Service Company business, but two technicians drove here quickly to make sure our heating was restored. I have used Advantage Service Company for the past 18 years to take care of my HVAC ,Electrical and Plumbing and have never had a bad experience. Yesterday One of my water lines froze and busted and as always they responded quickly and efficiently with the same professionalism ,courtesy and competence as always. Jason repaired the pipe and had my water back on in record time. He had to park at the bottom of a steep hill and walk to my house carry his tools in the snow and ice. We’re a first time customer and we are so pleased! We signed up for the Advantage Club to have bi-annual maintenance done for the HVAC units on the home we just purchased. The technician, Doug, was wonderful and professional. We’re new to LR and very happy to find a company with great service. Plus, Doug was very mindful of the COVID pandemic, wore a mask, elbow bumped instead of handshake and checked with us to be sure we felt comfortable. Units are cleaned and working better and we’re 100% satisfied.

After being without air conditioning for 1 day, they came out the very next morning. Travis, our service technician, arrived at the time he stated. He diagnosed our problem in less than 5 minutes and had us back up and cooling down the house within a half an hour. I contacted Advantage Service Department when I could not turn off my outside water valve. They sent Jerry from the plumbing department. Jerry was very personable and knowledgeable. He had the problem corrected within minutes! I highly recommend Jerry and the Advantage team, they were amazing!!!

Fast, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and, most importantly, honest. My tenant's AC froze on a Friday. I called, we weren't able to set up a same-day visit (not due to unavailability on their part), so we set up an overtime visit for Saturday. The tech went that afternoon and recommended we top off 2-3 lbs of a ~6 lb capacity. I asked if it was leaking, he said probably a slow leak. I asked how long/how much it would be to fix the leak. He said that 90% of these cases would be replacing the coils which, for our unit, he recommended replacing the unit. However, he actually recommended we just top off the coolant for now which should get us through the rest of this year and deal with the unit later as needed. I really appreciated him making an honest recommendation instead of trying to sell me a new unit. $281 for an emergency visit and fix ($98 for visit + fix + tax). Not bad. I will use them again in the future.

He called me over to make sure the fixture was low enough. I have used Advantage for heat and air as well as plumbing. It has always been a job well done. I highly recommend their work.

Service technician was on time, he was polite and professional. My outside porch light had been blinking to the point I thought I would come home one evening and have to approach my front door in the dark because it would be out. In my neighborhood, that wasn’t going to be acceptable for me. The technician took the light apart and checked the sensor. A wire and screw had come loose. He fixed it for a very fair price and I am satisfied. I will be using them again.

We called Advantage on Memorial Day weekend to get air to our 91 year old mom. They called us back immediately and was on their way to her house within a half hour. While there they were careful to practice social distancing and wear a mask. She had to have a new compressor . Ryan came out on time extremely professional and very knowledgeable about my issue and the fact that I needed to have a service contract on my units. (Which I bought) He then spent an extended period of time trying to get unit to recreate the same heating problem for him to diagnose issue. Unfortunately, the unit did not demonstrate the problem again but I have no doubt that he will be able to fix when the problem does come back. Ryan was very informative on all the other services that advantage provides which made me realize I wish had called three weeks ago with an electrical issue I was having. I keep coming back so I can't be disappointed. I had 4 service calls in 2015 so far and 4 last year - those were for plumbing and AC work but I have also used them for heating and appliance repair. I started using them 1999 I think. Service is usually same-day and they stand by it. If I have an issue or question, it gets covered or revisited. Everyone that has been out was friendly and I was comfortable with them.

I've called Advantage on two different blazing summer days when my AC went out, and both times they sent a technician within three or four hours who repaired the problem on the spot, once at 8:30 PM. Of course, not every problem can be corrected that quickly, but the point is that I didn't have to wait for service and it was done properly each time. I learned about Advantage at my job with a company that owned a combination warehouse and suite of offices. The HVAC system in the office section was a mess with poorly designed and installed duct work. We had been using a larger, better-known local company but were unhappy with the way they billed us for work that was often ineffective. We tried Advantage, and they did a better job for what we felt was a fairer price. I have a lot of experience with Advantage and would strongly recommend them.

Our air conditioning broke on a Saturday which was also a holiday weekend. The company that our home warranty would dispatch would not be out until Tuesday. Advantage Service arrived within 2 hours of being called and had the issue fixed with 15 minutes.

Update 3: Changing from a 2 to a 3. Customer service was great which lead to an eventual solution to the issue. They refunded $150 dollars and and offered to install 2 sink faucets for free! The second technician that was sent out did a phenomenal job. I was almost able to buy 2 faucets with the refund money and couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism of the second tech. If I knew I was going to get him for future jobs I would use this company again. Only reasons my review will not be going higher is the length it took to come to a solution (which I admit was partly due to my end but also partly because it felt like I had to haggle to get a suitable refund and solution). Still just so frustrated with the first tech that came out as well. All in all I would consider using them again but would probably try another plumber first. I don't know how their other services are but managerial customer service was great. Please thank the technician that fixed the issue thoroughly for me for the great job he did!! (Update to initial review posted at the bottom due to inability to write a second review or reply to responses. Currently changed rating from 1 to 2 stars due to good customer service in attempt to solve initial problem.) Called Advantage Service Company for some crawl space plumbing work. Since I was already going to have a plumber at the house I decided to have him take a look at a bath room faucet that had a continuous drip at the faucet end. While at work my roommate oversaw the plumber. The plumber worked for nearly THREE HOURS on the leaky faucet... They charge half hourly... And was able to accomplish the crawl space work in under a half hour. At about the 3 hour mark I arrived home to hear him say from the bathroom "Yup... You got a bad faucet nothing I can do about it. Seems you have pin hole in one of these lines." At this point I looked in to find him moping up water from the inside of my wood cabinets on the vanity (I'm sure will warp now) sloppily... Apparently not common practice to have anything underneath a pipe that you're working on? I NEVER had a leak under the sink until he worked on it. There was also plenty of water on the laninate floor after he finished which could potentially warp them as well. By the time he finished after about 3 1/2 hours I had a quick fix under the crawl space and a bathroom sink area that looked like a mini dirty flood came through it and instead of a functional sink with a drip I had a completely inoperative sink. On top of this he was nice enough to waive the service and and the first hour... And only drop me a $315 bill... $315!!! A real professional would have at some point leveled with the customer and told them it'd be cheaper to get a new faucet set and do it yourself... Not work for 3 hours, make the situation worse and charge them for it anyway. Now I'm not even confident my crawl space plumping issue is fixed and will have to go under there to look... Right after I clean up the mess in my bathroom. Update 1: Jan 8 2016 Customer service is good and they are legitimately working with myself and my roommate to resolve the situation and come to a solution. I admit I jumped the gun on the initial review however I was extremely dis-satisfied at that moment. I do wish I would have called and tried to work out a solution prior to writing a review. I've changed my rating from one star to two due to the work the company is doing to try and remedy the damage that's been done. I will update and adjust according depending on how the rest of their service is from this point on.

Amending an earlier comment: I'd had a bad experience yesterday - long story but involved a dropped message and much ensuing frustration. (Turned out to be serious phone/answering service problems on their end.) This morning, I received a call from Advantage. I talked with Amber, who couldn't have been more apologetic and warm. I felt like the company regarded me as a real person. I still can't rate the service, since I haven't actually used the company, but I am MUCH more inclined to give Advantage a try.

I had an emergency when my water heater rusted out and leaked everywhere. I couldn't find anyone available for several days. Called Advantage and in less the 24 hours they came out removed the old and installed the new. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled away all the waste.

I was very impressed with Jordan and Tommy, who came out and gave us the run down on everything including costs. They were on time and not pushy, and very curious. However, things were not as I had been told by Tommy about the pad that was suppose to have come and been put down didn't happen, but rather dirt was laid down and I had to pour concrete around the generator. One of the guy who came to help put in the generator put two nice tire ruts in my yard. Could have picked up after themselves a little bit better. Waiting for the last person to come and start the Generac generator and show me what needs to be done.
