My AC stopped working in the middle of the day, and we all know summertime Vegas heat is no joke. The Cooling Company was able to come to my house within hours. Justin was great! These guys are extremely responsive and came out to my home over an hour before their scheduled time (with plenty of advanced notice). It was 90 degrees in my house and the technician was quick to get to work and figure out that our downstairs HVAC was wired differently than normal. He reinstalled my new thermostat and advised me on the installation of the upstairs one as well. All around wonderful experience.

Each person listens responds clearly to make every conversation pleasant and productive. The techs do a great job and explain what they did in simple terms. I am given enough information to make my own decision. I do not feel pressured or up-saled. We just signed up for another year of their maintenance program. Mario & his apprentice did a fantastic job getting our A/C unit up & running. The A/C unit went out on a Saturday & the part we needed was out of stock, so we were going to have to wait until Monday for the repair. Even though it was only mid May, the outside temperature was still hot & we like to keep the A/C units at 70°. As Mario was leaving, he let us know he would make sure he was able to be the technician to repair our unit ASAP on Monday & we said goodbye & see you Monday. Less than an hour after they left we got a phone call from the office saying they had found the item that was needed to repair our unit & that Mario & his apprentice would be happy to come fix it now, & it was already almost 5:00pm. I said "yes please" & by 6:50pm these awesome guys had everything up & running! My husband & I are so appreciative to them for going above & beyond & getting the repair done the same day! I had the best experience with this company. I called to have my ac looked at on Friday. They came out first thing Saturday morning. My technician was Mario who was very professional and had explained everything to me. I really respect an honest person coming to my home and Mario was just that. I will definitely use them again. I called the office at 8pm on Friday night and someone (not automated machine) answered the phone after a few ring!! She took some info and another lady called me back ASAP to schedule an appointment for next morning! The technician was someone I was referred by many of my neighbors - Mr. Frost. He showed up on time, very friendly and personable man listened carefully about our AC issues and went right to check on the system outside. He came back with our old capacitor to show me and taught me how he test it, went right back to replace it and my AC was back working like a magic! After getting a $5k quote to replace the condenser by another company, I was hesitant to pay another service fee to have this company for 2nd opinion. But oh man I am so grateful that I did! Look no further and call this company! I will be signing up for the annual plan to get all my HBAC tune ups by them. I am beyond pleased with everyone’s service from this company and so grateful that I found them!

We literally had 5 HVAC companies come by today. Our very last appt was this company. The gentleman’s name was Frost. Very knowledgeable and patient. He looked at our unit and said we needed a capicator . Seriously, the saying save the best for last in its truest form. No one else who came by today even suggested that. Great company! We were impressed with their knowledge and their ability to "troubleshoot" the various issues as they came to light. We originally contacted them to help with a tricky wiring problem created with the change from NV Energy's thermostats to Ecobee thermostats. We also knew we would need a complete overview of our cooling systems but just wanted to get the thermostats working properly. In the process, wiring problems revealed other problems in our 18 year old system and we decided to get the double AC/furnace all replaced. One day later and well before the AC is needed, we have it completed. Many thanks to Frost and his team for providing the initial service and options (fix or buy) and a great shout-out to Marcos and his team for getting the job done efficiently and completely, which included protective cloths, attention to carefully removing the old and installing the new, and making sure everything was left in perfect condition (vacuum and clean-up). Good job to The Cooling Company!

Two years ago they replaced all the ducting in my 2300 foot house. They were not the cheapest of the three bits, but I was impressed with the detail of their presentation. That turned out to be a good decision. They did a great job. Last week my maintenance company outlined some huge repairs. My home warranty insurance sent a tech and disputed pretty much all those recommendations but did suggest adding an additional air register. I called the Cooling Company. Jorge came out and inspected airflow, both units and also disputed pretty much all the recommendations made by the other company. He also did not recommend adding the air register at this time. The cooling Company also does twice a year maintenance. Based on their professionalism and integrity, I’ve switched to their platinum program. I eventually I would strongly recommend this company (and feel free to ask for Jorge).

I will give The Cooling Company excellent marks for this particular service call. It was 107 degrees when our AC unit failed on Labor Day. I called and the tech arrived in about one hour and had the system running in less than an hour. My problem is with the Lennox units we purchased from The Cooling Company. They have been very unreliable since installation about 7 years ago. What we gained by going from SEER13 units to SEER 17 units has been lost on service calls. Our old York units ran for almost 13 years with only one minor problem. Also, the Lennox units are quite loud compared to the York units.

Our rooftop A/C unit died, and we had 2 companies come out to diagnose the problem and give us quotes for replacing the unit. The Cooling Company (Nelo and George) impressed us the most. They were honest and professional, explained all of our options, and worked with us to save money when possible. They seemed to want to get us the right system, working properly--not just trying to sell us the most expensive option. Our new A/C and thermostat are installed and working perfectly. The technician Carlos who came to my house today is one of the best. Not only did he do a wonderful job at tuning up my A/C, he cleaned my vents and also took my Christmas lights down. The Cooling Company is hands down the best heating/cooling company in Vegas. Every service they've done for us has been great since they installed our unit . All of the technicians they've sent to my house were knowledgeable and courteous, but we especially liked Ryan. He went above and beyond service, cleaning/vacuuming after he changed our filters. He even educated us on Merv ratings (8 and above), and how often we should be changing our filters, cleaning ducts etc. It was refreshing to hear someone commend their boss/owner on how they treat their customers and employees! Rare these days =). This company will always have my business.

We have a Manufactured Home that needed a new Heating and AC System. It was difficult to find a company that understood the unique "HUD" requirements for manufactured homes when changing out a furnace. We would strongly recommend The Cooling Company and specifically Lucas and Wellington who were extremely knowledgeable about what is required to have a safe and "to-code" system installed. The technicians that installed the systems were very professional, courteous, and knew exactly what they were doing. We now have a brand new excellent Heating and Cooling system that has a warranty of 10 years!! We would recommend them to anyone needing and new system our repairs on their current system.

Overall it has been a good company to do business with. The service techs have always taken their time to explain what was needed and have kept the units I have functional. The latest tech Ryan is knowledgeable and caring and hopefully my 16 year old unit will appreciate his work as much as I do. So far they are running smoothly this season again! We are looking into getting more energy efficient and new models. Ryan was good enough to write up a couple of proposals and send them to me so I can try to get a grip on which units are going to be best for my needs.

I've used this company since 2016 with my A/C issues. Why? Because they offered to repair my unit and would always give me options. I've had them repair my moms house multiple times also. So why the 3 star review? Since I never left a 5 star for my good experiences this should be fair. I'll give it to them, they were responsive and got to my house the same day. When the tech got there, he checked a few things and called me to tell me that my compressor was shot. I needed a new compressor and since my unit was an R-22 they could no longer service it. So, NOT even a word from me.. the tech goes straight into how would you like to pay for this? Credit card or finance? I mean what could I say..after dealing with the same BS trying to get my water heater fixed from multiple companies in Las Vegas trying to rip me off for 5-6000, I was frustrated. Is every company in Las Vegas just a money grab company? Nobody is actually trying to be honest and give options anymore? You know what frustrates me the most? I'm a business owner. I own 2 repair companies myself. One automotive and the other electronics. No we don't just say, well you need an engine to every customer. We solve that issue and give options. Now to end my rant. I called someone else. And the actual issue was a small leak in the condenser. He gave me options and explained the situation. The compressor was fine.

My AC went down last night. All these 24/7 AC repairs are fake. Called like 10 companies only 2 answered, and one called back the next day. The cooling company answered when I called and she was honest, told me her techs were done for the night but would be contacting me 8am when they start. They called me around 7:20 am and would have a tech available between 9 and 10 am. Jorge showed up 10 on the dot. That man worked so hard to get my old unit running. Went back up on my roof 3 times to do what it takes to get it running. God bless him and this company. Highly recommend

Excellent service on 11/22/19 Wellington came out to give me an estimate to replace all the duct work in the attic. The estimate he gave me was $1600.00 below what other estimates were. On 11/26/19 at 8.15 Marco showed up with his assistant, and started work right away. They completed the job around 4 pm. The work they did was excellent and they cleaned up and vacuumed the area after the work was completed. Marco and his assistant were very pleasant, and courteous. I am so impressed with Ryan, my technician. We had to get some new parts installed in both of my a/c units. One of the parts was defective and we realized at 8pm at night that our Upstairs unit wasn't blowing cold anymore. I called the answering service a bit frantic because my daughter was sick with a fever. Within 30 minutes Ryan called me and 45 minutes later he was at my house. It was fixed and they gained a customer for life. I really do rarely take time to give reviews but this experience should be published to give you all an idea of the service you will get from Ryan and this company. Now if only I could get my plumber to follow suit!

My furnace wasn’t kicking on and after troubleshooting with NV Energy, they suggested that I call a company to come check out my furnace. Even though it was 6:30PM on a Monday, I called up The Cooling Company and Joann (the scheduling coordinated/dispatcher) was SO SWEET. She was incredibly understanding and managed to reach a technician to come out that night. Jay showed up within an hour and then half an hour after that he got my unit back up and running. The diagnosis was cheap and I felt informed through the whole process. 10/10 would use this company again. Way better and more honest and transparent than major corporations.

Our company needed the mobile office unit inspection for functionality. The technicians Jhonnatan and Carlos arrived on time and explained what they would do. After their inspection they went through the items that would need addressing and provided pictures for explanation. They drew up a maintenance plan for review. Upon leaving we had a little hiccup but they happily returned later in the day and reattached a wire that had come loose during inspection so that the cold air would flow again. I needed to have an old air filter grill/vent, removed and replaced with a new one so I called The Cooling Company. They sent Carlo to my residence same day. He was personable, professional and knowledgeable. He looked at what was needed, quoted a good price, ordered it and two days later Carlos and Lucas removed the old vent and installed the new vent YAY! Because the vent was caulked into the ceiling they had to carefully cut around the old vent to ensure the plaster around the vent remained undisturbed, then installed and recaulked around the new vent. Excellent Job! It looks great 👍🏽 You cannot tell that there had been any disturbance at all. Thank you Carlos and Lucas! I love The Cooling Company! This morning I had issues with my AC last night it was extremely hot in my house so there was three different companies that came out to my house in the morning and the cooling company was one of them ...So the other companies left and Ryan from the cooling company stood and he fixed my AC for me and my family just a very nice person even when I called the front office and they called me back to let me know he was on the way to my house very nice the receptionist was extremely nice Ryan was really a nice amazing guy helpful friendly knowledgeable he made sure he got everything done correctly he even walked me through the process of what he was doing he didn’t even have to but he let me know every step he was going to do he was very respectful of my home I would recommend them to anyone and Ryan is a must I would tell anyone I know ask for him he goes way above and beyond for his customer and that makes you feel good especially with everything going on right now. I NEVER write a review or rate any company unless I've had an extra ordinary experience. Well I had one this past 2 weeks which was resolved by The Cooling Company. 2 AC companies which included 4 service techs could not figure out why our AC unit was freezing up. Finally Wellington, the owner of The Cooling Company himself came out at 8:00pm after 3 hours of attempting to detect the problem and resolved our issue. With the temperatures reaching 102 degrees that day, his willingness to come to our rescue and his display of compassion for our predicament was remarkable. He was relentless in solving the problem and I would hope that his work ethic was a great lesson for the young man who was working along side of him. They both worked tirelessly and late into the night to help us. Oh yeah, and then threw in 2 new filters to help the system work efficiently. We finally got a good night sleep after 2 weeks of hot air and a lot of headaches (literally and figuratively. They let me borrow a portable AC system to keep cool while I was waiting for the service to be complete which was unexpected and super nice. Normally you get a company that will come and do an install and leave a mess or scratches on the wall or some sort of dust or debris but this company is on top of things. Wow! Excellent experience with The Cooling Company! Our upstairs AC unit was not blowing cool air which caused the temperature of the whole house to rise. We called TCC and they were able to get someone over to diagnose the problem early the next morning. They called when the technician was on the way. Upon my call, I had a technician visit this morning to check my AC units. He was very professional and knowledgeable. While I was very pleased with his work, I could tell that he was highly trained by this company to sell unnecessary services. This is not unusual for HVAC companies. But as an engineer I don't really need, for example, to be reminded every 3 months to change my filters. I am also receiving too many emails from this company and tried to unsubscribe but of course the unsubscribe link doesn't work. I would have given a 5 star rating otherwise. I am giving a 5 star to the technician though. I gave him a good tip.

Came home the other day to find my A/C not working. Put in a claim with my home warranty to find that the contractor they use has very very poor reviews so I looked for a different contractor with better reviews. The Cooling Company was able to come out that same day to figure it out. Luis came out and was very friendly and knowledgable. I was on my lunch break from work and he had it diagnosed in about 10-15 minutes. Luis showed me exactly what was wrong and the diagnostic steps he took to come to the conclusion of the failed control board. This really stood out to me as a sign of an honest contractor. I went ahead and authorized them to order the part and complete the repair. Luis came back the following day at a very convenient time and completed the repair. It turns out my home warranty wouldn't have even covered the repair in the first place so I am grateful for the reviews I found on The Cooling Company, their fast service, honest technicians and overall great experience I had when it can be stressful to find good contractors these days. On 5/23/19 Jeremy was next door installing a new HVAC system for my neighbor. I asked him if he could check out my A/C when he was done. After he finished the installation he came over and had me call the office with my information. The office immediately notified him that he was approved to do the check. Fortunately for me the system checked out good. Jeremy was very conscientious. He checked all the appropriate voltages and pressures. He then spent time telling me which parts had already been replaced and discussed how to best care for the system. My system is 16 years old. With no pressure, he gave me a bid to replace the system. Wow Not sure what to say, I always tried to stay away from branded A/C companies because in the passed the few I called all would tell you how bad you system is. Now I am not talking having old beat up systems but new or a year or so old. Each company I called came in and cut my units up and begin to tell me all the work I would need to get my units working to the specs they say I needed to get them to. So now a bought a new home all new A/C units and wanted to see what a local company would say about a few things I wanted to do. I called The cooling company, they came out looked over my system and adjusted a few things I needed and I sighed up for a yearly maintenance so they come change all my filters and check out the system to make sure nothing is having a problem. What a deal when you factor in my time, going to the store, buying filters, and getting ladder and installing 10 filters it's a break even and I do not have to tie up my weekend 4 times a year. Then I asked them to check one rooms cooling they came out adjusted a vent and never saw a bill. I then had them install a garage A/C and that works great too. Next I asked them to look into my office getting warmer then my other rooms, they came out and fixed that too. All these time Wellington the owner comes by checks out the system and what to do then his man take over and get then job done and it's always right. Wellington the owner doesn't seem to run his company driven by profit but by have happy customers. And his employees seems to take the time to inform you about your system and to make sure you understand how to best use your system. I will be using this company as long as I live in Vegas.

I needed to replace 4 air conditioners in my home. I made several phone calls to Air Conditioning Companies in the Las Vegas area and The Cooling Company was one of the only companies that actually took the time to come out and explain air conditioning and efficiency factors to me. As a matter of fact, the owner, Wellington, came out to my home and spent over 2 hours with me. He went over every option and provided the pros and cons of each. I decided to go with the new Lennox 25 seer units and the main reason was because of the payback calculations that the team at The Cooling Company put together and presented to me. As a part of the package, there was a great pay back, rebates, and a extended warranty. What more could I ask for? The installation was quick and everything was spotless when the installation team left my home. When I got home at night, I couldn't even tell that anyone had been in my home. The new thermostats are AMAZING and I can program and control them from anywhere that I have cell service. -- Fast, Good Equipment, Premium Quality Service -- I called The Cooling Company on a Tuesday after my A/C went out. Wellington came and did a first look on Wednesday, by Thursday they had my new unit installed. There were no two hour waiting gaps - they say they will be there at a time, and they are there exactly on time. I have an older home and asked them to replace two electric furnaces with gas furnaces at the same time. The quote was the exact same price as the final charge. Having an older home, they had to do substantially more work than would have been necessary in a modern home. They installed two drain water pumps at the inside units and ran the drain pipe through my roof to the outside. My system should have had drains all along, yet never did. They remedied the situation and did not charge extra. (Even though I was almost certain that he was going to come to me with bad news and say that the charge was higher than the quote, that never happened). They didn't leave any messes at all, and went ahead and installed a new thermostat. Wellington both ran the initial quote, and managed the 5 person crew that they sent to my house. He ensured that all work was done properly (I'm in construction myself, and would have noticed any problems there). He checked on the crew frequently, who were working hard the whole time. He, his crew, and his office were more than polite, reasonable, and courteous throughout the process. In summary, everything was perfect and I will always use this company for any and all of my AC needs.

Call them and request Joe! Our AC went out a few nights ago, I started calling companies to come out ASAP since our house was 95+ degrees in a matter of hours. They sent Joe out in an hour and he did everything he could to repair the ac unit we had. I have used The Cooling Company since 2010. First with my vacation condo and now with my permanent residence in Las Vegas. I had a new Lennox unit installed at the condo. The condo building for the 4 units stuck the condensers in a covered alcove which trapped the heat in the alcove. That created a real problem for the modern high efficiency condensers. The Cooling Company was able to create a fix for not only my condenser but my neighbors as well. The Company provides prompt service and is available at all times. When we purchased our present house, 2 of the 3 hvac units were original equipment from when the house was built in about 1990. There was no question in my mind that those 2 had to be replaced and no question in my mind who I was going to call. The Cooling Company just finished up with the installation of those two units and the installation of an electric filter in the third unit. We tried it and it does make a difference. Also, the staff gives narrower appointment windows (as opposed to other contractors who tell us "we will be there between 8 am and 4 PM). Our downstairs air conditioning thermostat was no longer working. We called The Cooling Co and they came out only hours later on the same day. Kim was super helpful in scheduling the appointment. Kellen went above and beyond to locate the problem in the attic of the house and worked diligently to solve the problem. We just had a great experience with The Cooling Company. We are in the process of renovating our house and called them to see if our changes impacted the way the HVAC system was working and whether the thermostats needed to be moved. A very knowledgeable representative came over and made some very good recommendations to improve the efficiency of the system. We received a very fair price and the work started the next morning. When we moved into our new townhouse the AC was busted. This was the fastest company that could be here the next morning (Saturday). They gave two quotes for repairs and the one to replace the unit meant we couldn't get it fixed until Monday but Ray was fantastic and left us with a portable AC unit for the weekend (this was crucial since we had 2 small children). Nick and Marco fixed the unit Monday morning and Ray came back an hour later to check on everything and even went and got the right size filter for our AC then cleaned the gunk out of the unit before switching it. If you’re on this web site you must be considering work or service on your HVAC. You’ve come to the right place. I’ve been a customer with The Cooling Company for about three years. I first used them to install a new Lennox system for my home in the northwest part of the Las Vegas valley. Professional, on time and courteous. Even the owner attended the install making sure it went well. A few months later there was a problem with the AC side. Immediate attention was given to the matter. Because a part was not available until the next day, the owner went out of his way to provide for a hotel room for the night at no charge to me. Six months later when I transitioned to the Henderson area I immediately called The Cooling Company to upgrade the old unit with a Lennox unit again. When I hear my neighbors units start up and mine is so quite. Two and a half years no problems. Recently an issue developed and both The Cooling Company and Lennox representatives worked on it. Unfortunately no clear answer or repair seemed to work. So Wellington, the owner of the Cooling Co, said enough scratching our heads trying to figure out the problem. Let’s install a new furnace and make the customer happy, and he did. If you’re considering a new or work on you current system, give The Cooling Company a call. The Cooling Company is phenomenal. . I hired The Cooling Company after having a bad experience with another air conditioning company. I had purchased and installed a top of the line Lennox air conditioning system. The other company was very late in getting the job done; screwed up my ducting system; and charged me a fortune. I needed two more systems so I hired The Cooling Company. It is one of only two licensed Lennox dealers in Las Vegas. I got bids from both. The Cooling Company was much lower. This concerned me but, as it turned out, I needn't have been concerned at all. They were prompt, efficient, pleasant and accommodating. They explained everything they were doing and why. The installed systems worked well. In fact, I liked them so well, I put in a fourth system (for those 117 degree days). During the installations I got to know the Cooling Company's principals. This is a family business. Father, mother and son all work there and they care greatly about their reputation. The father does the selling and installations. Mom mans the office. And the son spent a long time on the phone with me (no charge) walking me through how to extend my home network so that my four thermostats could all talk to each other. I only wish they did more than just air conditioning. I would hire them for all my construction projects.

Talking about Wings to Heaven, I am so grateful to the owners of The Cooling Company. After struggling with getting my ac fixed and trying to figure out how to speak intelligently to ac repair people, I went on line to gather information when I came across The Cooling Company's website. After reading an article about what might be going on with the ac unit, I decided to call them since their article seemed to be written about what my ac was doing! I am in SoCal and figured that I wouldn't get any help given the distance. I spoke with this wonderful woman, JoAnna, told her I was in SoCal and was just looking for information since it was not feasible to have someone from Las Vegas make a trip to SoCal!!! She put be on a very brief hold after which Wellington got on the line. Wellington asked me to face time him. I did. We had a conversation about what might be going on and possible remedies. Then, Wellington directed me as to what to do. I did as directed. Right now, as I type out this review, my AC is back on, no rattling noise, the controls work again and no charge - WOW!!! I called The Cooling Company at 7:30am and was greeted happily and promised to have someone out before noon. The technician was at my door by 9am.
