First time using Dr, P's. Found in the yellow pages when a power outage damage my 85 year old sister's furnace and we needed quick service. Dr P responded quickly and when they needed to order parts the job was still completed in a short period of time. Quality of work was outstanding and meticulous. They could have easily said the 22 year old furnace needed to be replaced. The idea was never considered. Dr.P's is an honest company and I would highly recommend them. Thanks, Tom Hicks

We've been using Dr. P's (Pete's) HVAC since 2019, after recently moving to the La Grange area. He helped extend the life of our a/c for a year with a reasonable priced replacement part, and then, when the system finally went in 2020, they replaced it at a reasonable price with great service. Today, Robbie came out and completed our fall maintenance and signed us up for their new maintenance plan. This company and their employees are friendly, professional, knowledgeable, quick to respond, and affordable. Its the complete package. We're so glad we found Pete and his company. Highly recommend.

Our AC went out late Friday night and it was miserable. We called our normal HVAC company that we usually have good service with. They came out and the fix they suggested was a full replacement costing roughly $7600. We decided to get a 2nd opinion and that’s when I found Dr.P on Google. All the reviews were five star and I decided to make sure the first diagnosis was legit. Dr.P responded late Friday night with a time he could be at my house on Saturday morning. He and his team sent multiple text updates about his arrival which was great. He showed up on time and got right to work. He encouraged me to stay outside with him at the unit while he looked over the problem. I thought it was a different approach at first but quickly realized how comfortable it made me feel as he talked through every thing he was checking so I was 100% in the know. As he cleared different parts, he explained where and what he was doing and why. Within 15 minutes, he found the true cause of the AC not kicking on and fixed the issue within 5 minutes. He gave me a few suggestions on small parts to be fixed and bi-yearly maintenance. Long story short, our AC was fixed for less than $200 where the other company wanted to up sell to a full replacement. The house is cooled back down to 69 degrees and working like a charm. We signed up for Dr.P’s maintenance package and found ourselves our new HVAC company. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

We recently had Dr. P's clean our ducts. They were extremely professional and courteous. We were shown pictures of the ducts before and after, they also offered to show the accumulation of dust and debris captured in the cleaner. Furnace went out on Christmas Eve while we were out of town. Texted Dr. P. He told me what to do concerning water due to having no heat. He said he would be out the day after Christmas between 8am and 10am. Texted at 8:10am saying he was en route. Had a neighbor meet him at the house since we were still out of state. He called me several times to explain the problem. Everything was done over the phone and was done so easily. I didn't have any worries with Dr. P being on the job. Dr. P's was fast, fair, and effective! We called Pete at 8:30am on a Saturday morning after our AC went out in the early evening the night before. Fortunately, he was not yet booked up for the day, and showed up in less than an hour for our consultation. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a simple one (blown capacitor on the blower/induction fan inside the house), and gave us a clear set of options. He was honest and didn't try to up-sell me on a new AC unit or parts we didn't need, and had us back up and running in less than an hour with a fresh new blower capacitor and a much needed all-round inspection cleaning of our outdoor unit! He gave us tips on how to handle situations like this in the future, and how to help prolong the life of our 20 year old AC unit just a little longer (although he did give us fair warning that at this age it could go out at any time). Price points were fair, service was great, and the honest service was much appreciated. Pete told me he enjoyed his work, and that it often made him feel like he was "saving the world, one house at a time". Indeed, Dr. P. Indeed. Woke up at 4:30am with no heat. Called multiple "24 hour" services. Pete called us back very quickly and scheduled a time to be over, which allowed us to at least relax. Dr P's HVAC is an excellent local company owned by a hardworking young family man. Pete came out to repair our Furnace over the course of a few days due to parts not being readily available for our 25 year old Trane HVAC System. Instead of throwing good money at an aged system, Pete provided an affordable alternative on a brand new Furnace and AC System. Pete explained everything in advance and was very knowledgeable. Best service you could ask for. Pete is fantastic. I recently moved into a new place and my thermostat was beyond out dated. He showed up promptly and was very professional making sure to explain everything he was doing before he did it. Turns out that not only did my thermostat need replacing but there were more important issues to be addressed with the unit outside. This explains why my heat hadn't seemed to be working at all. This however meant the job was now bigger and going to take much longer than anticipated. Never the less he was a great sport about it and didn't seem to mind at all. My outside unit was making unusual noises and seemed to be having some issues. I proceeded to call one of the well known companies in the Louisville area for a quick diagnosis. They proceeded to provide my wife with a laundry list of issues that was going to cost >$2000 to repair and quoted a new unit at $9500. I then called a local company who originally installed the unit for a second opinion. After speaking with the office twice and being assured that I would get a call back for an appointment, no call ever came. I was close to buying a new unit when a friend recommended Dr. P. His location is 50 minutes from my home, but he quickly answered my message at 6 pm and agreed to be out next day. The service was courteous and straightforward. He performed a complete tune-up and leveling of my original unit and it is currently working as normal. Thank you Dr. P for your honesty and for saving me from a $9500 mistake.

Definitely recommend for home HVAC needs. Update! We waited until hot weather to replace our heat and air and Pete did a great job! His price to install a new furnace and a/c unit and raise our new furnace and change the ductwork to improve airflow was competitive with other bids for a straight unit swap! And it was great advice! Our old 18 yr old AC kicked the bucket in the humid 90 degree weather over the weekend. I called a few companies for quotes on Friday including Dr. P. Pete (the owner). Our upstairs AC unit died on us late in the evening during a high 90 degree heat wave. Called Pete at Dr. P's first thing in the morning. He told me he could make it out the next day. Since had one unit that was running fair the wait was no issue. To my surprise Pete gave me a call a few hours later and said he would be coming out to fix our AC unit that day. Once Pete and his mother-in-law arrived they quickly diagnosed my problem all the while entertaining my crazy little girls that love to talk. Pete proceeded to fix my issue and give both units a full thorough inspection and service. He found a few other things that were concerning and brought them to my attention. He described the problem in ways I could understand and gave me cost estimates as well as explanations on what could go wrong if these items were not fixed. Not once did I feel pressured or taken advantage of. My units are aging and will need replaced within the next few years and after my experience today Dr. P will be who I go with when that time comes! Thanks for coming out and making sure my princesses rooms were nice and cool during this heat!
