They were always prompt in responding to questions and showing up when scheduled. Communication was excellent and we are very happy with the service we received. One of the smartest choices I've made. We installed a ductless system ("splits") in our entire house, replacing a very old A/C system. East Coast were so professional. They presented all the options available to us, explained the installation process thoroughly, and made us feel very confident in our choices. Their installation was neat and clean. They took time to make sure that the equipment was tastefully installed. They went the extra mile at all stages to ensure we were happy. The results were awesome. I spent a lot of time researching heat pumps and contractors before deciding to install them to replace an inefficient gas system in my 100-year-old home. Dave did a thorough job of talking through options with me, and after I got a few other quotes, I ended up circling back and talking more with him until we came up with a plan for my unique situation using some existing ductwork and some new ductless equipment to support Mitsubishi cold climate heat pumps. The install went smoothly -- the guys showed up when they said they would and worked for three days to build my system. I've had the system for a month, and so far, it's great! We just had -7 weather (without windchill) and the heat pumps produced warm air the entire time. If you're contemplating a large project like this one -- or even a smaller one -- I highly recommend using East Coast.

I had EAST COAST install a new furnace, humidifier, electronic air filter and wifi thermostat. They were the least expensive out of 4 companies that quoted. The employees were on time, polite, quiet as mice , fast and clean. The new system runs great and I can check it's status and make changes from anywhere on my smartphone. I found this locally based heating and air conditioning company. They have a great service plan. I purchased it worth the yearly cost. It covered all the cost of routine service on my high efficiency gas boiler yearly service. It also gives you a good discount on future service, plus a discount on parts. As luck would have it a fitting on my boiler started leaking on the morning of my scheduled maintenance. Andrew from East Coast repaired the leaking copper elbow and pro-actively replaced another elbow next to it. He then completed the cleaning and annual maintenance of the boiler. The complete charge for the service and repair was very inexpensive. Very polite, very professional! East Coast is the Best ! Shout out to Brie in the office as well ! Thank you Guys !

We recently had a ductless AC system installed by East Coast Mechanical. Dave from East Coast came to our house to provide a quote. He arrived on time,, explained everything, answered all our questions, gave us a quote, and a complete time-line from start to finish. The crew that came on day of install knew exactly what they were doing and clearly had done this many times. After the install they explained how the system and the controls worked and instructions on maintaining filters. Everything went without any problems, we were extremely pleased! I did some comparative pricing and they saved me some money.l. They showed up right on time and the job was completed in the estimated time. I was impressed my the cleanup they did in the area as well. They walked me through the completed job and made sure to answer any questions I had. They promised to be back in the warmer weather to make sure the AC is working as it's too cold now to properly test that. Highly recommended.

On Monday, October 24, 2020, East Coast Mechanical, Inc. Heating and Cooling of Cheshire CT sent one of their fine mechanics, Tyler, to our home to do a yearly furnace inspection and cleaning. Specifically, Tyler addressed our requests, followed up after the job with what he specifically did and gave ample proof that our heating system is running very well and safely. This company ROCKS!!!! Had them install 3 mini split system in my house 2 years ago. Very professional and awesome work. But for some reason it just wouldn’t get the living room and dining room cold. We live in a ranch and the bedroom side of the house was ice cold. Told Dave the problem and they came out a handful of times trying to figure out what the problem was. Finally he says we will replace the mini split head with a bigger one at zero charge to you. What company does that? This company does. They strive for excellence. There was nothing wrong with how Dave sized the units to my house or the units themselves or the installation. We believe because the house has zero trees and gets sun from morning to dusk, that must be the issue. I can happily say it’s 68 in those 2 rooms now and it was in the low 90 today. Awesome job guys. This morning I woke up to a flood in my basement caused by my hot water heater. I called East Coast Mechanical and they had a technician to my house within the hour who was able to stop more water from draining from the heater and cleaned up my flood. I had to have a huge job done at my home in Sherman and East Coast Mechanical came through one-hundred percent, starting with the initial consultation with Dave who sells the systems and provides the service quotes. He went through the home and inspected all the rooms, and after discussing all options we decided to install the ductless heating and AC units throughout the house and for my recording studio--which was impossible to work in during the winter months. ECM installed a highly-efficient, virtually silent system that functions beautifully, year-round. Keeps the air clean, too. The workers are timely, reliable, and detail oriented. I have been remodeling my house for the past year or so and I have had some good....and some bad contractors come in to work on the house. After shopping around for a new central air, furnace, and water heater, I went with East Coast because the sales person was super knowledgeable and he broke down and explained every part of what I purchased, so I knew exactly what I was getting and why. It made me feel "comfortable," which is tough to feel when you make that kind of large investment. Fast forward to the installation...the two techs came out and actually put in 3 full days of work (I had some contractors on other jobs show up at 9am, break for lunch from 11-12, then end the day by 3 so they can get home by 4pm. It's tough to find dedicated workers, I guess). Anyways, the techs were very friendly, made me feel appreciated, and they answered all my questions. They even cleaned up at the end of every day to the point where you would not have even known that they were actively working in my basement at the end of each day. Very professional, very clean, and overall, an awesome transaction/experience and they have totally earned my trust.

If you are looking for a ductless heating and air con unit, look no further. This company gave us a reasonable quote, were very professional ALWAYS returning every call/querry in a very timely manner. They walked us through the rebate process ( which was a pain) and we got a $1,420.00 rebate! Putting in this ductless air-con/ heating unit is the best money we have spent in a long time. I just want to tell you what a amazing company they are . They helped my 85 year old mother-in law. She smelled a gas leak Thursday night called fire dept fire ,dept called ever source and shut down the furnace. My 85 year old mother in law had no heat that night. Next day I researched for companies to repair the furnace. I read the reviews on some HAVOC companies until I came across EAST COAST and made up my mine , I called Friday morning at 8 am the receptionist told my call and told me that we could have a tech out this afternoon from 12pm -4pm, at 9:35am she called me back and said we could have a tech to your mother in laws house in a 1/2 hour.I told her that great .so when Tlyer the tech came he researched and discovered the problem and explained to me he said i have to go to my truck and get the part and i will check for leaks, and he did Eversouce and fire dept thought it would be a gas valve default,but it was not what a relief. Tyler went above a beyond he clean the 3 pipes with a wire brush and removed the dust unclogging up the holes.when he was finished he explain everything he did . This company are professional they trained there people .I would recommend them. I will be using them in the future and telling all my friends and family. I give this company a 10 +.

This install was for the ductless mini split-type central A/C system for our home. Dave (Sales Tech) was professional, knowledgeable, concise and to the point. The HVAC install crew also worked professionally. They were on time , friendly and respectful .No loud radios , cursing, etc. Also, noticed that they always took off their shoes when working inside. They also went the extra mile by installing some lattice around the outdoor heat pump which needed to be located in a conspicuous area. I just want to comment on the above review that claims there was a bait and switch...it was VERY clearly explained to me that the zero down offer was in conjunction with opening a financing plan via their partnership with Home Depot. If we chose not to finance the work, it would be 1/2 down and 1/2 upon completion. This was explained very clearly and the technician gave us a number of different price quotes for various levels of work/upgrades to help us make an informed decision. It did not feel like an upsale attempt as I have encountered with other servicemen, but instead was simply a very neutral explaination of what all could be done, and how much the different jobs would cost. They also explained to us why a particular job (which would have been very lucrative for them) would not have much practical benefit to us, which I appreciate. I cannot speak to the quality of their work, as we have not had the work done, but the comment above regarding the 1/2 off issue seems inaccurate.

We were in kind of a pinch when our air conditioner stopped working and it was 95° they just didn’t have a lot of availability but they made it happen and fixed our problem and I can’t say enough about the service it was great. And the two guys they sent over were fantastic !!! Strong Recommendation.
