A one-to-one ductless AC system was installed. It was a pleasure meeting again with Chuck Palmer to discuss this installation. Will & Carson did a great installation and were very professional. This is the 2nd ductless AC system that Absolute Air Services has installed in my home. I highly recommend them.

Absolute Air Services installed a new gas furnace and a heat pump in my home in the week of January 23nd. This was a large project for my little home. Every person I interacted with from Absolute Air Services, were wonderful to work with. Paul from sales, was so helpful in explaining in detail, what would work best in my home, to make my system energy efficient. Lori guided me through much of the paperwork and was extremely knowledgeable in answering all my questions. It had been raining every other day for the last 3 weeks, prior to beginning the job, and the day before they started, it rained about 3 inches. My sump pump was working overtime. Absolute Air sent Anthony and William to do the install, both men were much taller than my basement ceiling could comfortably accommodate. Both men were at my house for 3 full days. My basement is not a pleasant place on a good day, but with all the rain, my basement was more on the order of a visit to hell, while they were working down there. They worked under some very difficult conditions, as my basement was taking on water due to all the rain and about half of my basement is a crawl space. Much of my basement is dirt floors therefore, Anthony and William look a little like mud wrestlers when they emerged for the basement at the end of each of the 3 days. However, despite the grueling circumstances that they were subjected to, they both were incredibly competent, courteous, kind and very helpful professionals. This my first dealing with this company and I can tell you without question, this is a top notch business. I had a Bosch Heat Pump system installed. I was very impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail down to ensuring our house was cleaned as if nothing ever happened each day they left. All of the technical staff was professional and courteous and any question or concern I had with the installation was addressed and answered without question and they ensured through out the process I was satisfied with the installation. Josh, the sales rep also really took the time to access my needs and work with me to come up with a solution that would work for my unique application. From start to finish, Absolute Air Services have been great! I would highly recommend them!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Absolute Air! We needed to update our 1920s home from our window-unit Air Conditioners and we were met with professionals who worked with us at each step. Chuck came out for our estimate and provided an excellent solution. We had questions about both his proposal and some changes we wanted to weigh in with, and he had no problem responding with expert feedback, giving us all information we asked for on alternatives we proposed. When my wife and I weren't sure how things would look and sound in our new home, a quick trip to the showroom in Portland gave us the perspective we needed to visualize the spatial and aesthetic impact on our living spaces. Everyone in the office was more than helpful and welcoming while we were there considering our options, and provided exactly the expert information and advice we needed. Lori was indispensable providing help with any questions we had regarding scheduling, payment, rebates, and the Smart E-loan program, as well as directing us to the representatives for the latter two. Chris and John did an amazing job working in our home. From start to finish they were prepared, organized, clean and respectful of both the home and us throughout the work. They answered all of my questions while they were working and were open to any adjustments I asked for (within the scope of the design). While I have heard nothing but good things about our new Mitsubishi air-source heat pump system, if there are any issues with it, or if we have any additional work to do in the future, my wife and I will not hesitate to call Absolute Air back out.

Absolute installed our HVAC system and they were outstanding. Each and every person we communicated with was pleasant and professional, from obtaining the estimate through completion of the installation. They kept us informed about the installation, arrived on time to start the project, and completed the project on time. Every single person that came to our home to install the system was respectful and nice. They also picked up after themselves and left the area immaculate after installation, which we very much appreciated. Josh came out to provide us with an estimate on time as scheduled. He explained the different systems available to us but we were most interested in a heat pump. We had done our own research, and we had a lot of questions to ask. Josh took the time to explain the heat pump system to us and answered all of our questions. We never felt rushed or pressured to sign the contract, and we appreciated that. Lori was a great help in processing the paperwork, making sure we received available incentives, submitting forms and working with Eversource for rebates, answering all of our questions and keeping us up to date on the process. She was always quick to respond to our questions and emails, and she was nice to work with. We are very grateful for her assistance. We had a wonderful experience working with Absolute, and we will not hesitate to recommend them. We look forward to working with them in the future as they service our new system.

I selected Absolute Air Service to replace both my heating and A/C as a neighbor had them install A/C at her unit 5 years prior. . I was pleased with Chuck's on-site assessment of my home's needs. The comprehensive proposal was followed up by a post site visit, upon acceptance, to ensure that all measurements and job installation items and actions were were fully defined. The proposal detailed all the work needed leaving no room for the unexpected. Anthony, as well as Carson, were professional and on point with all aspects of the installation. I commend Absolute Air Services on being service orientated. I was consitently impressed with their communication within the company. I only experienced a glitch or two with a caller ID or sender with email in the intial process which has not comprised my confidence in their product.

Woke up to our smoke detectors going off due to smoke in our basement. The fire department arrived and said it was likely a furnace backfire and to have someone come out to service it ASAP. Absolute Air was able to send someone out that same day and was very upfront about the diagnostic charges, etc. Our technician (Joe) identified that the issue was related to a rusted and rotted reducer - he quoted me the price to go get the part right then and there, do the installation, then run further diagnostics to make sure everything was safe. The pricing was very transparent, and I never at any point felt like he was up selling me. Great, professional service - we will absolutely recommend this company and go thru them for our furnace needs going forward!

Josh V did our initial consult and spent over 2 hours at our house (and even more time on the phone) exploring our different options and configurations. He was thoughtful and thorough. Josh C and Jason did the install and were prompt and friendly. They took great care in their work and the results show. I had installed a Mitsubishi Mini Split System: - 1st Floor 2 Wall Mount Units that cover the complete 1st Floor including my 3 season room. - 2nd Floor conventional A/C with Supplies and Returns in each of the 4 Bedrooms and Supplies Only in the two Bathroom Upstairs. Anthony was the field service person that installed the A/C System he was awesome. Anthony took time to explain the complete process and what he was doing each day, every morning he provided a status update. Anthony also was very considerate where the units were place and ease for services. Anthony also took in account of my concerns on the appearance of the installation and ensure that we the customer were satisfied. GREAT JOB ANTHONY HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU AS AN INSTALLER

We went with Absolute Air for our cool/ heat split system this spring - sorry for the tardy review - on the recommendation of their in- home system designer Paul who spec'd out a efficient , properly sized system for our two story lakehouse. It was over our budget but it was so the right decision to efficiently & quietly cool / heat our home. 👍 Paul and Lori the office mgr- who wears many hats btw ! and even Steve the owner all stepped in to keep our project on schedule, on budget & avoid some supply chain issues that came up along the way. The late May install took 3 full days & was extensive but the techs Jason & Dillion esp ! were awesome ! They were professional, courteous, worked clean and explained things as job progressed & always got my input. 👍 System was up & running by 1st heat wave & has worked great since. Only one thing is that they did not finish all the work by the day they told us but had to extend a day, so we had to take an extra day off from work. Absolute Air was able to do the installation while I was on vacation. This will allow me to have the unit ready to run for this summer. Our fall furnace service with Corey was great and our furnace is running the smoothest it has been since we moved in. Our central air conditioner died in the middle of a heat wave and made life pretty uncomfortable. Thanks to Absolute Air Services, we got our furnace and air conditioner replaced in record time, considering how difficult it was to even get a system to replace ours. They were on time, and did excellent work; even saved our beautiful bushes behind which the old unit was installed, by carefully clearing a way and removing the unit without causing damage. I have used their services for many years and highly recommend this company!

Had a great experience with Absolute Air and Kyle and Joe for the installation. Kyle was great to work with, and he provided continual feedback and guidance along the way, like when we needed to pick locations for the registers, ducts, layout, returns... he kept me involved as much as I wanted to be. He also never made me feel like I was asking too many questions, and was happy to answer all my concerns without hesitation. He was on-time and completed the work with extreme attention to detail... he even fixed things that I didn't notice, while also not hiding them from me. For example, one register was a little crooked, and he pointed it out and said he would fix it the following day, without hesitation or even prompting! He even provided info on how to service the system and how Absolute Air provides service plans to do this as well. He was great to talk to and work with in every way - can't say anything critical at all! EDIT: Joey was great as well (didn't realize this would post as a single review). Very quiet, but did great work along with Kyle. Oh yeah, also wanted to mention that both of them made sure to wear a mask in the house at all times... my wife had just gotten back from the hospital and we were instructed to ensure that we were extra vigilant since she was going to be extra sensitive to COVID. I mentioned this to them and everyone made sure to follow this guidance, which really helped put us at ease and was GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!

My furnace failed me in January in the middle of a sever cold snap. I reached out to Absolute Air Services, prior to this and scheduled a quote, but after they learned my furnace failed before the appointment, they moved my appointment to the next day from a week out and had the new equipment installed and working within 7 days. Scott the repairman did an excellent job of repairing our air conditioner. He was very professional and thoroughly explained the work that he was going to do and what the charges would be. On completion, I was perfectly satisfied and there were no "surprises" on the bill. What I also appreciated was that I was kept informed by Absolute Air Services of scheduling, and I didn't have to wait around for either half of a day. I was contacted by them the morning of the appointment, and 20 minutes before arriving by Scott of when he would be there.This is a company I was happy to business with.

Both Anthony and Kris arrived on time. They were concerned with out safety due to Covid19. Wore booties in the house to keep the floor clean. They were done by mid-afternoon. The installation is professional looking. Cleaned up. Very pleased with the work. Absolute Air was there during the entire process. They were not the lowest quote, but they were the lowest quote the the best warranty!! A few hundred extra dollars was with the extra 15 year warranty. Before the purchase I reviewed numerous mini split systems and Mitsubishi was the best. That is what they offered. Absolutely pleased (see what I sis there) with the entire process. Pricing, install, and warranty made this a worthwhile endeavor. Will recommend them to any who are looking for such a system.

Very impressed with the way everyone worked together. They were respectful of my home and did their work with out any disruption of our lives. When I asked a questions about the system or how it worked I got explanations with out the feeling of being a bother. I appreciate the patience Chuck had with us in the planning stages of the project, he was never to busy to discuss different applications for this system. Josh C took great care in the installation of the cassette unit which was a bit of a challenge. It is a perfect way to install this system were possible. I've had a lot of positive comments about the cassette. Great responsive service from Absolute Air Services when we had to replace our central air conditioner (after 28 years). Talked to four different contractors, but was most impressed with their knowledge and customer service. Went with a high efficiency Bosch heat pump for air conditioning and gave a back-up heating source. Installation was on time, professional, clean and high quality. Excellent work, on time and on budget with no surprises. We went from electric baseboard and a pellet stove in the basement for heat, to a split ductless system for two floors. From the moment they powered the units up you can feel a definite difference. Cozier, more complete heat, and they tell me it's going to save me a bunch of cash too. With the rebates, really a great upgrade for the house.

Josh, Kyle, Joey and the Absolute Air team were absolutely wonderful to work with! I was very hesitant about the ductless system and the appearance of the wall units. They helped us to put them in the most efficient and discreet places and they really aren't as noticeable as I expected. They were incredibly responsive and helpful when we wanted the outdoor unit moved, after they had installed it! (Yes, we were those people). They helped us troubleshoot and were understanding, professional and more than willing to make adjustments so that we were happy. The Electrician they worked with was also outstanding (Mangiafico Electric) - returning late on a Friday afternoon to make the electric work with the move of the outdoor unit! They worked clean - vacuuming and cleaning up after each days work. Overall, Josh, Kyle and Joey were very professional, polite and easy to work with! I would HIGHLY recommend AbsoluteAir :-)

Reached out to absolute air services for maintenance on the recommendation of my parents. During a heat wave a few summers back, I was fit in for a appointment to trouble shoot our central air unit. I was impressed by the service and realized towards the end of my appointment this was The Who came to this appointment on a weekend to help his team out since this was a busy time. This led to us calling them to replace our whole central air system 2 years ago. I was recommended a great unit, received great installation and am very happy with the product I have still to this day. I have a yearly service agreement which they performed this morning. I was due to write a review, but my mechanic(Scott) approach to the COVID environment made me do this immediately. During a time when companies are figuring out how to continue business, absolute air represented by a very conscience mechanic was super respectively of space, wore a mask, booties on his shoes, and very clearly planned and minimized his time inside my house. If you are looking for maintenance or a new unit, make your choice easy and go with absolute air. I am happy with my central air and continued service. If you are looking for wall units, also look no further, both my parents who referred me and my sibling both used them for this service and continue to refer them to any one in the market.

We had installed a hybrid Mitsubishi Mini Split System: - 1st Floor 3 Wall Mount Units that cover the 1st floor. - 2nd Floor 1 wall mounted unit in sons room and ducted supplies in 2 bedrooms, dressing room and bath with a return in the center hallway. The team always arrived on time. They wore booties in the house to keep the floor clean. The whole team was very pleasant and professional. Chris was the person that headed the install the of the A/C System and he and Josh (Coach?) were awesome. Chris took time to explain what he was doing and regularly provided a status update. In the planning Josh was very considerate of where the units were placed as was Chris when installing the units. The project was quite complicated requiring crawling through tiny crawlspaces and even tinier hot attic spaces which was done without any complaint. (I would have been cursing, but I never heard a bad word from any of them.) They located the ducts to leave us as much clear area as possible even though it was more difficult for them working in the tight corners of the attic. They took in account all of our concerns on the appearance of the installation and ensured that we were satisfied. They left things clean every day and did a great final clean up. Absolute Air was referred to us by a friend who was very happy with the new HVAC system they installed just over a year ago. I shopped for estimates from 4 other companies before calling Chuck back. The initial lack of follow through from the other companies helped make this decision clear. We were converting from an oil burning furnace (24 years) and outdoor AC unit (24+ years) to a propane furnace and heat pump and a large amount of ductwork refinishing. Chuck offered the best solutions and costs. The results speak to me as one of the best home improvement decisions I have ever made. I’ve been having respiratory problems over the past two years, which had worsened to point of mid-night attaches and using 2 types of inhalers. Chris took out the oil burning and showed my wife what we were breathing, it was an eye-opener. As soon as the new system started working my respiratory issue started steadily improving. It’s been three weeks now I don’t feel like a need an inhaler at all. These guys do quality work and they take the time to do it right. A friend of mine got a quote form a different company for smaller job (sticking with oil) for an 1800sqft home installed in just one day for nearly the same price. Ours was the largest HVAC units for 3200sqft, and with everything I mentioned before it took 6 days. Great team of people...I'm very happy.

Excellent service and Kevin is a tech that really knows HVAC. Apparently, we had a leak in our system. We've used other companies in the past and they never fixed it, they just put some more gas in the system. Kevin came in, had a suspicion as to why it was leaking and quickly found the leak. He then explained why/how it occurred, how to fix it and he provided an accurate estimate and timeline. Everything was very clear and done on time.
