Had an issue with our A/C unit. We also use Clear the Air's monthly plan which is a great value. Issue was diagnosed quickly and accurately. Mark also noticed that the float switch needed to be replaced and was able to provide one. Clear the Air replaced all of our old A/C equipment in our aging (40 y.o.) home over the last few years and the service and professionalism has been outstanding.

I had two units and all accessible ducting replaced in my home. Willie and his crew were on time, courteous and efficient. I’d also like to shout out the techs Thomas, Robert and Robby for being super cool and answering all my questions and texts while they were on site. Thomas was my initial contact for quotes and he didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need and clearly explained everything that would follow. Robert was there after the install to thoroughly check that everything was installed correctly and made any needed corrections. I followed him around while he made his checks and asked many question and he was happy to share the knowledge. I’m very happy with the service Clear the Air provided.

Thomas Sanders came out to do an inspection/tune up and he was great! Very much on time and very knowledgeable and personable so communication was great. He made some small adjustments, added microbial tablets and gave the system a clean bill of health. The invoice is very descriptive and the price is very reasonable. We bought our Trane system from them also and it has never had any issues whatsoever. I have nothing but good things to say about the company and the system.

This company is great. They let you know on the day of the appointment who is coming along with a photo of the person and a link giving estimated time to arrival. Today Thomas Sanders handled the service call. He's been here once before. Both times were excellent. He is knowledgeable and thorough. At the conclusion of the check-up he took time to explain his findings and recommendation. With 10 minutes I received an email with the service report and associated photos. Very satisfied with Clear the Air. Raul arrived ahead of schedule and quickly handled the routine semi-annual inspection of the two heat pumps. He sent me the full inspection report detailing the results for the heat pumps via email.

On April 17th, 2023, I reached out to this company for a service and unfortunately, I had to lower my review from a 5 to a 3. From the beginning, I was aware that they were coming out to try to sell me something, which made me cautious. The technician who came to my house did not address the reason I called them for service, but instead tried to sell me a new unit by finding issues with my current one. I informed him that the previous technician had taped up my condenser unit, which I suspected might be leaking, but he did not address my concerns or remedy that specific action. The technician proceeded to tell me that my units in the attic had black mold, and my outside compressors were 22 years old and likely to go bad at any time. He also claimed that my house should be freezing, but it wasn't. I was wearing a jacket inside the house, which he failed to notice, making me skeptical about the rest of his claims. His closing statement was to ask if I wanted to pay cash or use credit without giving me a price. As he was leaving, he mentioned that they could include discounts in the prices they were going to send me. This approach left me wondering why he couldn't just give me the price with a discount instead of making it seem like he was doing me a favor. When I told him that I would shop around for prices and that I had a home warranty, he proceeded to tell me that the warranty would use the cheapest components and units and would not be energy-efficient. I found his claims to be baseless and unsupported. Although I understand that his job was to sell, this company failed to establish trust before asking for a sale. Their sales pitch was terrible, and they continued to sell and try to close like a company from the 80s. They failed to acknowledge that consumers are more savvy nowadays and that they are dealing with more educated buyers. As a professional marketing and sales company owner, I can confidently say that this company needs sales and marketing training. The technician did everything wrong in his sales pitch, his actions, his delivery, and his presentation. Unfortunately, I will be shopping for another company that can come out and gain my trust before trying to push a 22K A/C unit on me. review on 2021 I first wrote a review giving this company a stellar review. But the after the service leaves a lot to be desired . They did do a great service except my unit upstairs Was leaking air and the tech said he would put tape on it. When I checked a day later, he did not put any tape on it, so I called the next day to have them fix the issue that Thomas said he would fix. They advised me it would be a week before that can come out. Really?! One week to fix a problem that was supposed to be fixed at the time of service?! Some thing like that is neglect and something that should have been addressed immediately! Not only did I purchased a membership that was supposed to give me priority service. And their excuse was we have a lot of members?! Really?! So what's the point!? Thomas oversold something this company cannot stand behind. I will get my attic taped. But I will never use them again. Whatever you do DONOT purchase the warranty or priority service. I feel it is a waste of money. It seems to me that They do not have the manpower to back this membership. So I am canceling it as I was dissatisfied with their answers. I can take that money. Put it in an account and create my own discount. Since then the company has offered a resolution I am giving 5 starts but we will see what the future brings.

Mark came out originally to assess my issue. I was quoted by another company an extremely high price and wanted to get a second opinion. Mark came out and correctly diagnosed the true issue which was different from the other company. Not only was it a true diagnosis, but also much more affordable! This is the best experience with an AC company I have ever had. From start to finish. Our original plan wasn’t feasible due to the architecture of my house. Another tech came out, I can’t remember his name, but he came up with an amazing alternative that worked even BETTER than the original. Extremely satisfied. November 2022, Mark Ortiz inspected my two heating units and did a good job explaining to me the condition of my system. While he was at it, he fixed the drier vent pipe that had collapsed. I appreciate him calling it to my attention and repairing it. Daniel Herrera, again, did a great job replacing my ducts and adding an intake vent in the last two days. He kept me informed during the process and discussed several options for the location of the new vent. He and his partner cleaned up each evening and we very courteous.l Elias Martinez spent hours checking the static pressure of my two air conditioning systems. He did a great job explaining the results of his tests and giving me my options and potential consequences of my decision. I appreciate the thoroughness of his work. Very courteous and professional. I had some questions and Mr. Daniel Herrera did everything he could to see that I received the information I asked for. I very much appreciate the efforts of him and his partner. April 15, 2022 - this week Thomas Sanders came to tune up my AC system. He did a thorough job. One of the units was not performing properly. He uncovered a faulty capacitor which I chose to replace once he showed the readings on his meter. He also found some lose wires in the thermostat downstairs that may have been causing intermittent problems. I appreciate his keeping me informed and am very satisfied with his work. The last couple of nights the system has worked perfectly.

Customer service is a main goal with this company. We were contacted about our repair quote and we asked if we could push it back three weeks. The office punctually contacted us after three weeks and we scheduled repairs and improvements. Three technicians came out Trey, Daniel, and Robby. They knocked out a lengthy list of repairs and improvements that were caught and suggested on a biannual maintenance package we purchased. We were given a two hour window when they would arrive. The were on time and notified us 20 min or so before arriving. They were concerned with keeping carpets clean by placing protective rugs over carpet and brought their own vacuum to clean up any mess that may have come from the attic before rolling up rugs. I was shown the work done. The work order was well documented on the work to be done and they photographed work done. This company has impressed us with how organized they are, care for customer service, and level of expertise from technicians. Our unit is old but is running well. They are not pushing for a new unit.

I had a Trane economy model AC and heater and new ducts installed for $11,000. They didn't replace the lines outside the house and left the old metal plate on instead of replacing it. When I complained, the service manager was snippy and asked if I expected a plate the same color as the house. I explained that the installer that installed my previous Trane, put a metal plate over the hole and covered the hole. When the house was painted, the plate was then painted the same color. Clear the Air just filled the hole with caulk and wrapped the old lines. They also cracked the screen on my 55" TV when they were removing the heater. Still waiting on them to address my broken TV. Follow up - Clear the Air was responsive to my issues and addressed my concerns with the outside lines. I’d post follow up pics but google isn’t giving me the option. They also agreed to reimburse me for my TV. I’m satisfied with their response.
