He was always professional and made sure I was happy with the quality workmanship he provided. And they came in close to $1,000 less than the next bid. Thanks Stoudenmire for your great service. My AC was not working properly for my renters. They came out three times and did not find the issue in the beginning. We were concerned but they were able to figure out the issue. They went ahead and fixed it and we are grateful for that. However they did charge us a fair amount they understood our situation and the renters complaining those three times they came out. They were willing to work with us and gave us a fair price. I appreciate their professionalism and I appreciate them considering us.

My Rheem unit is 22 years old, installed September of 2000. Stoudemire replaced the thermostat and provided us with instructions on its operation and verified we had it set correctly. I have use this business on more than one occasion. They prove to be a business that stands by thier word. The first time I use them was in 2015 after I got a quote from another company. The first company told me I needed a new unit and of course they could provide one for a reasonable price. I contacted Stoudemire Heating and Air and they fixed the problem for 282.00. My air conditioner stopped working so I called Stoudenmire Heating and Air. They scheduled me for service the same day I called and the technician arrived 3 hours early which was great! The technician Tristen Trivett and his partner Jared Graham diagnosed the problem (faulty condenser) which was under warranty and replaced it in just a few minutes. Now I have plenty of nice cool air! Tristen and Jared were both very nice, polite and professional . Tristen is only 27 years old but has already been in the business 10 years. Stoudenmire technician figured out an unused upstairs zone to use it for an additional control for the room over over the garage. (Original contractor who applied the system had indicated it could not be done with the system). Three years back, our upstairs heating stopped working on Saturday morning during the Thanksgiving break while our children and grandchildren were visiting. Herb is the most professional HVAC person in this area who gives you the unvarnished truth and respect which all of us deserve whether in a pandemic or not. I was referred to this company by Justin Krantz; I only wish I had purchased my system from Stoudenmire instead of the horrific company I have departed which I will not name for various reasons. Herb told me what I needed and showed me what should have been done by the previous unnamed company who got my $14,000.00 dollars cash and gave me horrific service subsequent to my purchase. They gave me terrible service and took shortcuts on service calls and could never keep an appointment. They had hIgh employee turnover and would have to send people twice to diagnose a problem and you would have to follow-up several times to get a status on the resolution to the issues even though you you had a broken system. Herb told me I was in great shape and what he thought was most important to do first to ensure a healthy and proper operating system and what was necessary to have a properly functioning system. In addition, Ashley is great and helpful to talk with and said she would try to send Herb whenever possible since he is well certified and trained and very experienced. This is meant to illustrate a professional and well managed company being Stoudenmire as a contrast to the company I regret ever doing business. I will have Herb from Stoudenmire HVAC do the recommended corrections in the recommended sequencing and will be using them in the future. Thanks Herb and Ashley. In addition, I wish I had purchased my system from Stoudenmire HVAC instead of a company I won't name. I was new in this area and unfortunately overlooked Stoudenmire HVAC and it was a mistake. In addition, Herb is a trained professional and people at their offices are pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company and Herb especially if you have a complicated system like mine.

Heat would not come on. Inducer fan not engaging. Called and technician dispatched same day. Technician was very professional and arrived ahead of schedule. Diagnosed the problem quickly. Advised that repair estimate would be forth coming to replace inducer motor fan and possibly heat exchanger. I have used them before and would highly recommend them.

Had a problem with the heat strips on my heat pump and Mike Jr. was able to come out a couple of hours after I first called for help. He fixed the problem quickly and the bill was reasonable. We had our 30 year old ductwork replaced because our new HVAC unit was causing new issues in our crawlspace. Stoudensmire partially encapsulated our crawlspace, installed a dehumidifier, and replaced all of our ductwork. They did fantastic work for an affordable price. They were very honest and detailed. We had Stoudenmire out to replace our old AC unit, and replace mostly original duct work in our crawlspace (1940's house). With it being finished, we are extremely thankful we went with this company. We had a few quotes done, and Stoudenmire just felt the best, told us what needed to be done, and didn't try and up-sell anything. The existing duct system was extremely outdated and was not able to provide clean/fresh air, we couldn't keep the house cool in the summer and just blamed it on being an old house in the south. Stoudenmire had the new system running in one day, and totally completely early afternoon the next. The house cooled right down, and the air was noticeably more fresh for the first time since we've been in the house. Do your research, and read all the reviews like I did, but if you go with Stoudenmire you will not be disappointed. The crews went above and beyond, arrived right on time, and cleaned up when they were finished. These people know HVAC work, A++ and thanks again!

Our experience with Stoudenmire Heating & Air Conditioning has been most rewarding. We have been with them for years in a previous home on Lake Wateree where they have always been professional, friendly, responsive, and most of all--trustworthy. There have been times when we had to leave our home to run errands or attend work and leave them to their normal service checks. They were recognized as family while being there in our absence. Recently we moved to a different county in SC and the first folks we thought of in our new home was Stoudenmire for a new HVAC system we needed to have expanded and installed. Upon contact they immediately gave us a quote, and said they could have it done within a couple days (of which it only took them one day where they stayed late to insure it was completed to perfection). They have very reasonable annual service agreements, and discounts for parts or emergencies. Probably one of the most important areas (if not the most important area) of a home is the HVAC. Even the inspector agreed that 99.5% of homes don't have this done. Stoudenmire stood behind their work 100%.
