Mr. Lester was an professional service technician and an excellent representative of your company. Besides having the essential qualities above, he was a good communicator, offered advice and suggestion, was prepare with parts on hand and provided updated when work was completed. Would highly recommend this company. The service team is the best in Columbia, SC. Also they have a plan that if you join their absolutely FREE member program, they waiver you service fee. It saved me $99 at the start. I'm thankful for their integrity and outstanding service.

Update to below. Several hours after the technician left, we noticed a relatively large leak coming through the ceiling/down the wall of one of our bathrooms (quite "wet" as you can see in the pic). I went into the attic and noticed that there was water dripping from the "top" of the unit, running down the side and into the pan below (short video clip attached). We contacted customer service and they sent a senior technician the next day to assess (no charge). The 2nd technician finished the job and took a look at the ceiling/leak. We were told it would be reported to the the home office. The assumption was that our water damage would be addressed/repaired. However, we were told the following day that the "leak was already there" and that it was not Midland's responsibility and that we could file with our Home Owners Insurance if we choose to. So, our air works now, but not sure how to feel about our water damage or that it took two trips to repair the issue. Thankfully we were not charged for the second visit - just seems a bit odd that the leak wasn't noticed until the evening of the initial visit. **picture and video are time-stamped after the first technician was in our home** Initial review: Lee serviced our HVAC and did a fantastic and thorough job. He was professional and explained what he was doing as he did it - courteous and helpful. Being customer friendly is always a plus ;) Thanks Lee!

Chant Craft is a great guy to work with. Took his time with with us and did not rush us to make a decision. Treated us as if we were his first and only customers. We were comfortable in our interaction with him because he is very laid back and easy to talk to. Put our minds at ease in the importance of choosing the right unit for our specific need. Encouraged us to ask as many questions as we needed in order to feel comfortable and secure in making the right decision. Very knowledgeable regarding the AC unit we purchased. Directed us in the right direction for which unit would best suit our needs for our home. Chant presented us with reading materials, charts and photos that showed how the unit functions and what it provides in order to help us better understand visually how the unit functions. Gave an in-depth presentation of comparisons of all units they provide to help us choose the right one. Guided us through the process without pressure and did not push us just to buy a unit from his company. We highly recommend Midland Air due to the no nonsense salesman approach of Chant. He represents his company very well with his expertise, knowledge of the product and above all making sure the needs, comfort and care of the customer is priority one. Today we had Midland Air replace our hot water heater with a Reni tank less heater and both Tyler and Mitch did a great job, very professional. They did an awesome job and it looks and works great. They cleaned up everything and hauled off all the pieces and parts from the old unit. We also had Midland Air to install a new heating and air system also. The two technicians Drew and the other guy also did an excellent job. We now have heat on a cold day. They started early this morning and worked most of the day so we could have heat tonight. Thanks to all the Midland's crew for a great job.

I give Chant Richard and Dylan five stars.. they were very professional and very informative… they made sure I understood exactly what was going on so I could tell my husband when he got off.. One thing that I really appreciate is that they came in and did their job and I felt comfortable with them being in my home with the kids and I while my husband was at work… The reason why I’m adding that is because a lot of times senior citizens and mommy‘s always have reserves about letting workmen come into their Homes for protection reasons.. I would highly recommend this company for senior citizens and women ( Men too) who may live alone or alone at the moment and just need someone who’s professional and straight the business…God bless you guys and thank you for your time

Just got my old water heater replaced with a new tankless heater that should save on gas and electricity. Avery, Ryan and Chief were patient with my questions and made sure to keep me up to date on any issues encountered. Midland Air is installing a new AC unit next week here and after today I am not worried. 9/14 edit - James and Mitchell just got done installing the new AC system and I apparently needed it more than I knew. Wonderful work, answered questions and made sure I knew what was going on throughout. Glad to have picked Midland Air and look forward to future service.

We had a serious issue happen at our commercial building Tuesday morning. Corey, Murph and Justin were very responsive and here within an hour after my call to resolve the issue. These guys worked endless hours for two days to get us in better shape. Midland also services plumbing so if you have plumbing needs, give them a call! Highly recommend!

Start to finish, this company was fantastic! George and Chant were quick to come out, very professional, and explained things to me to help with the process of having a new unit installed. Chant even brought a portable AC by so that I’d be comfortable while the parts for the new unit came in! Elrod and his associate installed the unit and were very professional, kind, and efficient! I got a call last week asking if I would like to set up a tune up. I said sure and they came out early due to an opening. I was excited to get this done! After they left my ac unit didn’t work the rest of the night and was over 80 Degrees in the house. I called a couple Times the next day and they came out during the 2-4 window. The tech said one thing. His manager came out and said another. Now it’s the weekend I have no ac because they can’t get the part until Monday. Update: today I got a call from the service manager following up with the situation. They made it right as soon as they could on Monday. They made me feel listened to and valued. Thanks for listening to me and fixing the problem!

The guys from Midland are great! Chris Tucker the most recent Technician found a furnace manual in a zip lock bag lodged in the A-Coil that was no doubt left by the original HVAC installers. Chris advised this was blocking air flow! Now we have even better heat and AC for our home!! Being thorough was Chris’ priority! Not to mention he worked on our condensing unit in the pouring rain! He was professional and identified the problem in 3 mins he explained everything that was going on and showed me the problem as well. On July 25th Brian came out to service our unit. We came back from vacation and the house felt like a furnace! Brian was very compassionate and understood our frustration. Not only did he reassure my husband & I that he could fix the problem, he stated he would have us cool in an hour. And he did!!! He explained every step in detail and explained why the part that had to be replaced was worn-out. Because of HIS professionalism, my husband and I decided to sign up for MidlandsAir monthly service plan. On August 27th Donovan came out to do the 1st service maintenance on our unit. When I received the call t9 schedule the appt. I asked for Brain to return. I was informed Brain had been promoted but the technician that will be completing the maintenance mannerism will be the same as Brian's. And his was! With both guys their professionalism, customer service and persona was awesome! We are pleased with the service MidlandsAir provide and will recommend them to all our family members and friends.

We had Midland Air install a new heat pump for us recently. First of all, the two Tyler's were great, except that we had just replaced the insulation on our attic pull down stair, and they made a mess of it going up and down with their boots. We'll have to repair that again. We have been less than pleased with the office staff, however. We used our Discover card to pay for it and wanted to pay it off quickly. But two weeks later and they still had not put the charge on the card. We had to call and remind them to do it. And we're still waiting for the paperwork for our rebate from Dominion even though we called and reminded them.

Lee provided an excellent service. We had two issues. One issue was simple enough that I could confidently fix it myself (replacing 2 duct fan motors), but I had another issue that resolved itself. Lee ran several diagnostics of our system, and he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. In the end it was basically a $99 inspection of our A/C unit. Lee even listed all of the various things he was checking in detail. He even showed me a sample duct fan motor and how easy it was to replace one. I could have learned from a YouTube video, but it was nice to see it in person. Excellent service!

Maintenance tech Donovan came out today to service my AC as we have been having poor airflow. Donovan was very knowledgeable, friendly and great to talk to, looked though my whole system and cleaned my outside unit. Advised that my system is running well but noticed a portion of my ductwork had slightly fallen which contributed to some poor airflow. He put the ductwork back in place, checked the coil/blower, washed and cleaned my outside unit. All for a very minimal fee (As a Maintenance+ member). This was Donovan’s first time service to my home and did the annual HVAC service maintenance. He has a pleasant demeanor as we spoke was very thorough going over attic and outside units. He brought to my attention how dirty the air filter was saying that it needed to be changed every six months. At the last annual maintenance I was told it needed to be changed annually. In June 2022 I asked the technician here for a service call to check the filter to see if it needed to be changed and was told it was clean. I did not actually see the filter at that time, but the filter today was VERY DIRTY. Thank you Donovan for bringing this to my attention. I will specifically ask for Donovan for my next service.

I am very pleased with your service and will recommend your company to anyone who is looking for heating & air service. I called you for an emergency service to a split unit in my attic which had overflowed thru the ceiling to the first floor. Your service department responded immediately and reported that it appeared lightening had struck the unit. An electrician came and verified their findings. Your representative, Stacy Willets, saved the day!! Mr. Willets immediately sent reports to my insurance company to speed up the process so that I could make an informed decision regarding whether to repair the unit or replace it. I was panicked because I was expecting relatives from California the next day who would be sleeping upstairs WITHOUT AC!! Not an acceptable option in July in SC!! Mr. Willets personally installed individual units in each upstairs bedroom for use until we repaired or replaced the attic unit. This was important because I was able to work with my insurance company and go through all my options with Mr. Willets without worry about the comfort of my guests. I chose to replace the unit and was very pleased when Mr. Willets advised me that the installers would be able to schedule the installation two days later. Marley and Derrick installed the new unit on Friday as planned and gave me specific instructions on how to operate the new thermostat. Unfortunately, when my family and I returned from dinner about 7:45 Friday evening there was water flowing from the ceiling! I turned off the unit and called you for service. A man answered and advised that a technician would call me as soon as one was available. No one called or came. I called again at 9:30 and again at 11:00. No one called or came. Saturday morning I called at 8:00 and spoke with the receptionist. She apologized and, more importantly, sent a service crew right away. The problem was solved to everyone’s satisfaction. On Monday, Stacy Willets (who was out of town over the weekend) came to pickup the bedroom units. He asked why I hadn’t called him Friday night when no one responded to me. I told him because he had arranged to leave the bedroom units in place until Monday I could get along without interrupting his weekend. But I did appreciate his concern. Midland Air has excellent customer service with Stacy Willets and the crews he works with plus the office personnel; however, the after hours employees need to develop a system whereby the customer isn’t left hanging. When an employee promises a customer a call back, someone should call back even if the answer is “we are booked up tonight but will send help tomorrow.”

First off I want everyone to know that the service Joseph performed for me and my family today was above and beyond what I expected. We had previously used Brasington and over the years they had installed four units in a span of 6 to 8 years. There was always an issue with each unit and despite them being under warranty they would look for ways to charge my elderly mother, for repair of units still under warranty. It got to the point that they had tried to say a new unit under warranty needed a $750 part that would not be covered with warranty although it was. My mother, 80 years old could not afford this. I left a review very negative, they called my mom very hostile and said they’d never return to our home. Eventually they realized I was right and came and fixed the issue for free. Today our unit was no longer working. Joseph was diligent and checked our unit in the attic, vents and then outside. Turns out the problem all these years was a faulty breaker amp. He had one on hand, gave us a very reasonable quote and once we approved he installed and even stuck around to ensure no other issues occurred. He was so kind and knowledgeable. He even took the trouble to change our filters. I recommend ANYONE use this company and if Joseph’s bosses are reading this, know your have a meticulous, honest hard worker. He deserves a raise! Thank you not only from me but my 80 year old mother, my fiancé and 9 month old daughter.

I had another service provided by Hunter and Taven which I did not know was offered by Midlands Air. After checking our unit the water heater was checked. I would have never thought they would have provided that service. Well, needless to say, we need to have it replaced due to rusting on the inside. Never knew! The water sample shown was brown, but the water coming out of our faucets is clear. Thank you Hunter and Taven for checking the water heater. Jarred Warden was a great help! We've been having issues with our thermostat staying connected to our internet and Jarred was the only one who actually took the time to take a closer look. We will have to watch the connection to make sure the update works but the effort he made is appreciated! He even reached out to his supervisor, Brad Buzzard, to see if there was anything that could be done since we bought the unit through Midlands Air and it was not investigated further prior to today. Thank you for taking the time and putting forth the additional effort Jarred.

Thanks for coming. 2022, service technician that came to home was courteous, professional and very good at his job. The only complaint is the office , charge card was charged twice, talked to 4 different people in office, each said charge card account would be credited, it took 1 month and 3 weeks for it to be corrected. Thanks to the 4th person for taking time to correct the problem. Will continue to use Midlands Air.
