I had an issue with my basement drain after hours. A technician called me back shortly and we determined it was not an emergency. The office called me the next morning as the tech said they would and I had an appointment the same day. It was taken care of promptly by Doug. Wonderful and honest tech. I plan to use them in the future. Great service!

So i had back from sewer line and i called root rooters and service was 500 and they told the sewer line was in curve so they cam estimate on for 6k. I was in shock! Furnace blower went out on a Sunday and the on call tech helped save a $600 visit. They showed up first thing in the morning and were here with space heaters before the other two places even called me back. I now have a new furnace and the basement is cleaner than when the arrived.

We returned home (10pm) after being away a week to a water issue in our basement. Ugh. A thinning copper T line sprung a leak and made a big mess. Shut off the water and waited till Sunday morning to make calls. First several contacts not available. Called Pearson. That was at 10am Sunday (answering service). By 10:15, a service person called me back to let me know rates for Sunday calls. At 10:30, the technician shows up (Austin). At 11:30a, Austin was completely finished with the repair and leaving my home. A very professional job. I have 'my guy' that I generally use however, he was not available. I'm thankful a friend suggested Pearson. Austin was efficient and professional. Pearson will definitely be on my call list for any plumbing or HVAC emergencies. Thank you.

My hot water tank was over 10 yrs old, and leaking to flooding point in my basement. Pearson's Plumber evaluted the situation and recommended replacement. It was an emergency situation on a weekday, and I did chose take their advice. Oh my goodness their charge was the amount of my monthly Social Security income. 🤔 It took 50 minutes to remove the and install the new tank.

I have been a regular customer for years and that's because I stay loyal to those that are loyal to me. They deliver quick and top notch service every time. I called today (coldest day of the year so far) at 8:35 am for an early cycle problem with my furnace. Ahmed pulled in my driveway at 9:26 am. What a wonderful experience it was working with this company. We needed a new furnace and water softener so we called Pearson. The lady that answered the phone was extremely kind and professional and answered all of our questions. The service techs that they sent out were knowledgeable, polite and very efficient in their work and cleaned the work site up better than it was before they started. They wore booties and laid down tarps to protect our floors. They worked hard and did a great job!!! We have always been pleased working with Pearson. This is truly a professionally run organization!!!

The whole phone call to explain the problem we had and schedule a same day visit took 1 min 27 seconds. No phone prompts! An actual person answered after 2 rings. Ken showed up a few hours later, on time. He was able to diagnose and replace our water softener the same day. He was courteous and cleaned up after himself. The called the same day and were able to come the next day for a quote, they were then willing to work with my schedule which normally can be difficult with some company’s. A different gentleman named Craig came to do the instal and he was very nice and helped me move things out of the way for him since I wasn’t able to do it on my own. When he noticed a problem the original quote didn’t offer he was willing to work with us and make sure it was up to code. (He didn’t just install it and charge me later, he came to me to let me know what was happening; I’ve had that happen before with other utility company’s.) I’m very thankful they came today and were someone who was able to catch things that I couldn’t. The overall experience was extremely appreciated, fast and friendly, and I would call for them again since now that I know they have experienced people In the field to count on.

I’ve had great service using Pearson I joined the No Problem Club after having our A/C freeze up and ruin the circuit board on our furnace. We always get quick service the schedulers are easy to work with and figure out a time to come. We have also used their plumbing and pest control service and been happy. John who has worked on our furnace and A/C also came to our house on his day off because he already new what the problem likely was and new we had little kids at home who needed heat ASAP during the winter.

Ken Ruch installed my new water heater in a professional manner and was very pleased. He removed the anode from my leaking 4 year old heater and it was completely gone. Recommended having the anode replaced in 3 years. A lot cheaper than a new water heater. I would recommend Pearson Plumbing to anyone.

The Service and installation crews were very knowledgable and polite during the troubleshooting of my old system and during the install of a new furnace and AC system. They provided factory rebates on the system and tackled the rebate paperwork with ComEd during the install visit. So, we had the pleasure of working with Pearson twice this week. The first time was to stop a plastic valve leak leading to one of our sillcocks. This was an emergency service, and Aaron Cooper did the job in a very timely manner…saving us quite a bit of money for the call. The second call was when Aaron came back out to replace the sillcock, valve, & piping linking it into our main water line. He was very knowledgeable and really explained all the pieces that were added and why they were essential for the fix. In fact, I was so impressed with the work and the amiability exuded by Aaron that I asked for a bid on some other plumbing issues. Top notch service from these guys! I had a soiree at my house (which has 8 acres, two ponds and an hour away from Rockford) and I had had terrible service from a competitor (I didn't know Pearson's did mosquito spray) and I was completely under the gun for getting a spray before the party. I saw their ad on a billboard on Perryville and wrote down their name. It took one phone call and they were at my house in less than 48 hours. Their technician was great, did an awesome job and the mosquito population was night and day difference for my party. We've never had our land sprayed before and it made a HUGE difference so look forward to making this a regular thing. Thank you guys for being so accomodating!

Pearsons is wonderful. Twice they have come out and helped us. First with a new furnace last winter when it was 20 below. Then just recently when the sewer pipe backed up because of tree roots. The prices were very good compared to what some other company wanted to come out on a Sunday. Had a pipe break in a difficult spot on a Sunday. Our regular plumber did not answer phone. Called pearson and some one was out in half hour. With in 45 minutes the plumber efficiently fixed our issue. I liked how he had a tablet and took a credit card via it. The plumber had good customer service skills, had the experience to understand the structural elements of our home and efficiently complete the job. We were new to Rockford and didn't know who to call for a boiler replacement and the installation of Mitsubishi ductless splits. We used Pearson for both the boiler and the Mitsubishi systems, and we regret these decisions. Pearson is either going through some major growing pains or they are just incompetent, both at an administrative level and at the service/repair/installation level. After the latest problem that included a major scheduling clusterduck on Pearson's part, we had had enough. I recommend that people take their hard earned money and time elsewhere. UPDATE: Pearson worked very hard to resolve our issues. They have bent over backwards to make this right, and they have done a great job. At this point I would say give Pearson a chance, and if you are unhappy, let them know. I revised our initial one-star rating to a four-star rating based on Pearson's willingness to listen to their customers and make changes.
