Our 18 yr old A/C went out and we had another company provide repair and quote a new system. Communication from that company was not great, sometimes they did not even answer the phone. The repair was short lived and we decided to get a 2nd opinion from Darnold & Lyons. The receptionist answered promptly, was friendly and was able to get someone out that very morning. Grant recommended replacement and provided a quote. Darnold & Lyons has been much more responsive with communication and we felt they would be the best choice. We did not regret our decision. They installed our new system promptly and it feels good to have central A/C back in the house. The technicians were on time, courteous, cleaned up and left us happy! We are excited to be customers of Darnold & Lyons.

My mom's furnace went out and with me being in another state, they were quick to respond to her issues, they had someone there within an hour, had a quote to replace the furnace and A/C (was a package unit) which was very fair, and the installation was done the following day. They ensured everything was installed correctly and working well, were very professional and answered all of our questions, and even got me 18 months same as cash. Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for fair pricing, excellent service and extremely professional employees. We couldn't be happier. Thank you so much for getting my mom fixed up so quickly!!

PLUMBING - Highly Recommend! So thankful to Darnold and Lyons for traveling to Nicholas County to fix some long overdue plumbing issues at our home and several rental properties. They arrived to our town the very next day (just as they said they would) and everything was resolved and working within a few hours. No run-around, no mud tracked in, and no mess left behind. The plumber was very knowledgeable and best of all- he showed up! Thank you Darnold and Lyons!

Moved into my first home 2 weeks ago and AC unit went out on July 3rd. Calling around no one was available for weeks and the inside of the house was approaching +90 F in the evenings!! Darnold & Lyons were able to get us on there schedule within 4 days of us calling. Our techs name was John, super nice guy that explained everything to us, checked both the inside and outside units, cleaned out the filters and made sure nothing in the house was damaged in the process. Service fees and parts cost were very reasonable! I would highly recommend them to anyone in need in the area!

I had a fantastic experience with Darnold & Lyons! My compressor went out in my 13 year old AC unit. Due to the high cost of the compressor, I replaced the unit, line-set and coils per D&L's advice. The two techs were very professional and did excellent work! They were also nearly $2000 cheaper than my first quote. I will use this company again!

It’s been over a year since Grant and his team climbed up into the hot, stuffy attic of my house and undid whatever madness the previous homeowner had going on up there. Work was done on time and on budget—again, it was HOT up there—and after four seasons of consistent central heat and air, I can say with confidence that I made the right choice calling them.

Our downstairs unit was installed several years ago by this company and we have been very pleased. Last year we had the technician John do maintenance on both the upstairs and downstairs units. Came again in spring. Turned on the heat upstairs for the first time on Tuesday and had an odd burning smell. Called on Wednesday and was able to have him come that afternoon. Everything checked out ok and I am very thankful for his expertise. Great technician!

Called them up to do Rheem warranty work, guy came out, everything seemed ok, indicated he would order a part, then never showed up, never heard anyting else, and won't call back to say why. Minor and innocuous issue w/ rheem heat pump water heater so just annoying more than anything. Update -- rheem is most likely the difficulty here.

Roy Lyons went out of his way during the hot month of June when our AC went out to find us window units cheap to get by Till they replace our busted AC system and heat pump. He is a class act and helpful Christian man and he will always get our business. And he treated my infant daughter as if his own. Great man great business quick work and quick response times he pulled off another job to help and came to find out well he came to find out my wife was pregnant and had a 6 month old at home and he got on the job quick. I highly recommend darnold and Lyons due to professionalism and total class act and great prices. If you want it done right the first time call these guys.... DODRILL IS OVER PRICED TRUST ME I KNOW FROM QUOTES AND NOT VERY FRIENDLY. And Teays Valley heating is out for your money not relationships between customer and themselves. Roy made us feel as family. I had a long stopped up sink that I couldn't fix myself. Nor could my "plumbing capable" friend. I called Darnold and Lyons and they came promptly. The plumbers were polite and tidy. They cleaned up their mess well. And, even better, my sink was fixed in less than two hours.

I SEARCHED GOOGLE FOR 5 STAR REVIEWS. DARNOLD & LYONS WERE ONE OF THE COMPANYS WITH 5 STARS. BUT IT WAS THE REVIEWS CUSTOMERS WROTE. I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY. THE SERVICE MAN WAS NAMED JOHN AND HE CAME IN AND IMMEDIATLY SAID I KNOW EXACLTY WHATS WRONG. SAID IT WAS AN EASY FIX. I WAS SO RELIEVED. HE MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE AND HE WAS VERY CONFIDENT. HE HAD MY PROBLEN FIXED IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES. I HAVE JUST MOVED INTO MY PLACE AND ALSO HAD MY HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM MAINTANCED BY ANOTHER SERVICE UNDER THE RECOMMENDATION FROM A FRIEND. IT WAS A BIG WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY. I WOULD USE DARNOLD AND LYONS FOR ANY AND ALL SERVICES AND MAINTANCE IF NEEDED. I JUST ALSO WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO THANK JOHN AND JUST TO LET HIM KNOW HOW I AM SO GREATFUL. I’ve been using Darnold and Lyons for my HVAC installation and repairs for at least 15 years. They are a fair and honest company. JR was at my house today for AC preseason check up. He took his time and did a thorough job. Very polite and respectful. Thanks, JR, you are the best!
