I have had no issues with Jay Mechanical since I have used them for all my plumbing needs. They are responsive and on time. Customer service when I call has been fantastic. The technicians are always friendly as well.

We just had to get a new furnace installed, and we're really glad we called Jay Mechanical. Working with Jean on the phone was super easy and stress-free, and Jason and Tom were very professional and efficient during the installation and clearly explained what we needed to know about our new furnace. They also did a great job cleaning up at the end. We'd highly recommend Jay Mechanical!

We have used Jay Mechanical for a number of jobs from cleaning to a rerouting of a boiler vent pipe as the result of some remodeling work. It was easy to schedule each job and all of the technicians we interacted with were helpful and professional. In the case of rerouting, the technician, Jay, was extremely helpful with options and what could and could not be done for our particular boiler given code restrictions in Burlington. Can't comment on others' experiences, but our experiences have been very positive and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I give Jay’s Mechanical the highest rating possible - I would give them six stars if available. I called with an emergency situation. I left a voice mail (as I had done at the other seven companies I called prior to calling Jay) and never expected a return call. Jean with Jay Mechanical returned my call within 10 minutes. I explained the situation to Jean. She asked if she could put me on hold while discussing my unusual problem with the owner. A minute later she let me know they would be sending a technician the same day! Yes, the same day! A couple of hours later Tom (technician) arrived. He looked at the issue. After thinking about the resolution he got to work. In one hour he had made the repair, noticed a few other potential issues and took the time to reinforce or replace the parts so I would not have another similar issue down the road. Oh, did I mention my emergency dealt with the sewer pipes of an RV? Not a typical issue for a plumbing and mechanical company but they rose to the occasion and took on my issue. Jay’s staff are all super stars. Jean and Tom were amazing! Thank you so much Jay’s Mechanical.

Jay Mechanical is now my first call for plumbing and heating emergencies AND upgrades. Earlier this winter I found a leaky pipe and called eight plumbers before I found Jay and got service same-day. They were my first call next time for a boiler emergency - again, same-day service and great follow-up. It turned out to be a problem with the water heater and I was able to upgrade it to a heat pump water heater on short notice. A big thanks to Jean in the office who gave me her cell # for pictures and responded to an after-hours text, and to the guys, Rob & Tom, who were professional, experienced and courteous.

Jean goes above and beyond to keep communications updated and clear and all of the technicians we have had the pleasure of working with have been helpful, informative and professional. They are a top notch company to work with and we will continue to look to them for our HVAC needs. We have had them service both our furnace and A/C. They saved us with both and were friendly the whole time!

I just want to say how professional and great this company has been. Niquette Brothers retired and we were no longer able to contact the company that installed our A/C when our A/C started leaking water. I called around and one place had a poor answering service and another company booked me out a month and a half to look a problem that was happening NOW, with WATER, with the A/C unit. I won't be running A/C in October!
When I called Jay Mechanical, the receptionist was extremely helpful, seemed to understand that this was an issue that was relevant now. She had Paul come and take a look at our furnace system to try to diagnose the issue. He was extremely polite, arrived on time, gave us good advice on how to properly use our system (we were using the wrong filters for our system) and figured out that the issue was a combination of a few things that culminated with our pump leaking the water. Problem solved! Also, he explained why our house had trouble regulating the temperature, what with our poor ducting! I guess old ducting isn't made for modern conveniences like A/C. So that is also something my husband and I will be evaluating for a future upgrade.
Oh, and I am a woman, and I just want to add that I never felt like I was spoken down to. I know that this can be an issue in some places, so I really wanted to emphasize how great and courteous everyone has been.
