I highly recommend Andrew and his team. He installed a multi-zone heat pump + heat pump hot water. Andrew's communication and customer service is top notch - perhaps the common frustrations when dealing with projects and contractors. He was very prompt and on schedule, explained and responded quickly to my questions, and their quote is very competitive compared to other quotes I received. His team was very respectful and cleaned up after themselves, and they took the time to explain and went through the work and the equipment installed. I would certainly call Andrew and his team again for future heat pump or heating jobs!

We had a condensation issue with our boiler. I called Andrew Stevens' business to see if they could tell me what was going on. Their contact system worked quickly and efficiently for us. Their communication was excellent using texts and e-mails. They promptly scheduled a diagnosis/estimate visit and worked with us to set up a date to tend to the issues they found. We had a scheduling conflict with the first proposed date. They quickly found an alternative time. Once again, the text and e-mail communications were helpful to know when to expect their arrival for the service visit. They took care of business, and their final cost was right in line with their estimate. All that seemed very reasonable. The people at Andrew Stevens were very courteous and professional. We highly recommend this business!

We'd been having trouble with our furnace and it had been shut down by one service provider due to excessive carbon monoxide in the exhaust. We had called a second service technician, but had no luck there either and found ourselves without central heat over the holidays. Our primary service company told us they could not get to us in less than another week, and that we should call around if we wanted faster service. Andrew was able to schedule a visit the day we called, and had evaluated and fixed the problem in under 10 minutes! Had we called him first, we would have had heat through the holidays! Awesome competence and expertise! Fast forward two months to March. We decided to have Andrew Stevens install a completely new system for us. It was to be wall mounted. For background, the original furnace described above was a System 2000, originally oil, that had been converted to gas. The original gas burner installation had been faulty and damaged part of the boiler. It took 4 technicians two days to fix it properly. The new system was pre-assembled on 1/2 inch plywood sections. On the day of installation, the guys arrived a little after 9:00 AM and left between 5:00 and 6:00 PM, with the old system gone and the new system up and running. One day!! And it looks great! Simply outstanding. ADDITIONAL NOTE: In the initial quote for the installation, Andrew mentioned that there was a rebate available of ~8.7% of the purchase price because the furnace was over 95% efficient. Now, we all know about rebates, right? Rebates are an inducement to buy that is not fulfilled nearly 40% of the time. Companies count on that. The usual practice is to provide the customer with overly complex paperwork or an online application that is often void because it wasn't filled out right. Not so with Andrew Stevens Heating. I had totally forgotten about the rebate. A couple of weeks after the installation was complete, I got the rebate check in the mail. Andrew Stevens Heating had filled out the application for us and submitted it, ensuring that we would get it! This is a degree of integrity and service I have rarely ever encountered. Thanks, Guys!!

Absolutely stellar customer service! Andrew and his office are wonderful communicators which is everything these days when there are so many supply chain issues. After being unable to obtain the unit we originally chose, Andrew figured out how to make it right and ate the added cost. His install team were just great, cleaned up after themselves and got it done quickly. Andrew's office recommended a few electricians, and once I chose one (also great to work with!) their office communicated with him and the whole process went smoothly! I've already recommended them to 2 friends!

In a nutshell I could not say enough good things about this company. From the initial visit, project proposal to completing the project it was a seamless, enjoyable process. All communications with this company have been timely and clear. The owner came for the initial visit to inspect my old boiler. Andrew obviously knows his stuff, is professional and most importantly patiently explains complex technical stuff in a clear manner in a way that a non-professional can understand. The 2 young men that installed my system also obviously knew their stuff and efficiently worked as a team to get the job done. Both of them also communicated very well and patiently answered any questions I had. Andrew also inspected the project when it was close to completion. Although I felt quite comfortable with the people doing the installation it was nice to see that the owner was involved during the installation.

I would recommend this business to anyone. They disconnected and reconnected my heater before and after I had flooring installed. I just had a new heating system installed by this company and I highly recommend them. Andrew spent a lot of time educating me on the pros and cons of heat pumps with respect to my particular situation. I went with with them because other contractors just said "You want a heat pump, we'll install a heat pump". The actual installation went smooth as could be. They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and by early afternoon, I had a new heating system. Everything looked plumb and level with perfect 90 degree angles. Andrew Stevens is a profession, educated technician. I would recommend him without question for any heating repair. My boiler was choosing when and when not to work and Andrew uncovered the issues and solved the problem within a short period of time. My first phone call to him was in the middle of the evening of Christmas week when my Airbnb guests phoned with no heat. Andrew Stevens Heating and Air Conditioning replaced our old boiler with a new combination boiler/hot water heater unit. He thoroughly answered my many technical questions about the various options and installation configurations. He was very responsive to my concerns and suggestions. It was difficult to run the intake and exhaust how i wanted it, but he made it work and did his best to minimize the cost. He and his team did the installation in early December of 2021, which was concerning to me since it was getting quite cold, but they were able to get heat up and running by the end of the first day and finished up the 2nd day. There was a problem with the hot water in early March, 2022 and Andrew and his team fixed it by the end of the day that I called, even though it was a very unusual problem, I think caused by a minor assembly mistake at the factory. Other than that issue we have been pleased with the unit he recommended. In summary, we are very pleased with the selection and installation process and the warranty support.

Andrew's AC service was second to none. He was knowledgeable, methodical, and made sure the service was done right. He ensured that no detail was overlooked. It's never been so cold in my house, and that's a great thing in the summer. He shared plenty of useful AC tips, and even had some spare time at the end to chat up on personal stuff. On top of the AC system, he also replaced the hot water heater expansion tank in minutes, and also ensured that the tank was charged to the proper pressure. VGS was able to tell us that we didn’t have a gas leak or anything that could cause a fire when we woke up in the night to the smell of engine oil coming from the basement. After they left they turned the furnace on and said it must have been a fluke. The smell came back the next morning and Andrew fit us in quickly to identify the cause of a mystery odor (not CO) coming from the furnace as a broken circulator pump. He quickly repaired it and also taught me a lot about our heating system. Prices are fair and affordable.

We contacted Andrew on the recommendation of a Vermont Gas Systems employee that was investigating a gas leak in our house during a particularly cold spell at the end of February. VGS shut off the gas to the house resulting in no heat for several days. He is one of the most knowledgeable heating experts that I have ever worked with. I could not be more pleased. Last winter I lost heat and hot water. I called my fuel supplier as they had done minor repairs (replacing an igniter) for me before, and I had was not aware of any better options. As summer heat began my AC was not working. My fuel supplier only works on heating systems. So I called Chucks Heating and Air - they installed my AC. But, even though I am an existing customer they could not be bothered to even return my calls. I called the original installer (a small local Jericho installer who was subcontracted by my builder) of my heating system, twice. No returned call. I had stumbled on Andrews facebook page while researching options and the two things jumped out. One, he was local to me and two, from the pictures I could see he was familiar with the brand of system I had. So I made an appointment. And now I have working AC again.

He impressed me with his knowledge of gas systems then convincing me to hire him and his crew to replace that inefficient conversion unit with a Napoleon 2 stage high efficiency furnace. We could not be happier with the results. House is warmer with more even heat. Were also saving money on our gas and electric bills as well. I did not win but I continued to follow his page and enjoyed seeing his work and how clean and organized his installs were. He also included a 3-ring binder with manuals and registration information along with a wall file holder to put my 3-ring binder in my furnace room for easy access If needed.
