They were on time every day and finished the installation ahead of schedule. The work was very well done and they kept me informed at every step of the process. They even worked around my two kids who had to be in the house one day. The units are working great and my house is finally comfortable during the summer heat. I had three estimates before choosing New England Ductless. They were not the cheapest, but they were clearly the most knowledgeable and professional of the contractors to give me a quote. During our first visit, they discussed our wants and needs, took measurements of the whole house, plugged the numbers into their algorithms and gave us an appropriately sized system for our home right there. They didn't pressure us to sign, and totally understood that we'd be getting other proposals before making our decision. Before signing, they fielded many questions from us to help us make our decision. Responses were always prompt, professional and accurate. They know what they're doing with heat pump systems and they don't play games. Once the contract was signed, they scheduled us a few weeks out. The kept every appointment and showed up on time. The installers were great guys - very friendly and everyone had a great "can do" attitude. Every aspect of the installation went smoothly, and the final result was very clean and professional looking. They also provided assistance with securing our HEAT loan, as well as handling all the paperwork for state rebates and incentives, as well as all of the warranty paperwork. I recommend New England Ductless whole-heartedly and without reservations.

I wanted to give NE Ductless 4.5 stars, but that was not an option. Positives: Generally very professional and responsive. The installers even masked and wore booties in the house to protect our floors. Our rep helped us apply for the interest-free heat loan and the office even helped us obtain the state rebate. Negatives: We encountered some communication issues e.g. workers showing up way earlier than the window the office gave us. At one point, I waited for someone to come and fix a small problem only to discover the technician had come before the window specified, and fixed the problem outside without letting us know. As a result, I waited for two hours when I needn’t have waited at all. Our installers did a fine job as far as I know, but no one explained how we should operate the system. Finally I called to ask for help understanding how to program the new thermostat they installed (why they gave us a new thermostat we also didn’t know) and the interaction between it, the mini-splits, and our oil furnace. Positive again: When I called to ask questions, they made an appointment to have someone come out within just a couple of days. Justin, who came today, carefully explained everything to our satisfaction. He was also quite personable.

I used New England Ductless to convert over to heat pumps and I couldn't be happier! We initially had oil supplying baseboard heat and hot water and ducted central air. They installed new air handlers in our attic, updated the spiderweb of attic ducts, new condensers outside to supply the air handlers, and two mini-splits. The entire time I worked with Ryan (project manager) who walked me through the whole process, from initial consultation through job completion. He is knowledgeable, professional, kind, courteous and I never felt like he was trying to "sell" me. Request him! The install crew led by Renato were great, professional and left our home clean (they wear booties inside the house which is a nice touch!). Now our home is cool and comfortable as summer ramps up. I couldn't be happier with New England Ductless. They ever help submit all the necessary paperwork for mass save rebates. Thank you New England Ductless!

New England Ductless was an excellent contractor for our home AC system, which has five LG ductless air conditioners and two compressors. They were quick to respond when we asked for an estimate. They measured our home, listened to our needs, answered our questions, and provided quotes for four schemes with a choice of Mitsubishi or LG equipment. They told us up front that all equipment is on back order, so while the 12-week wait was unfortunate, at least we knew. (Equipment was on back order for the other contractor we interviewed, too.) The project started and finished on time. The crew included a senior technician, who kept us informed about each step and checked whether we were OK with it, along with an apprentice. On the final day, two electricians ran lines from our main panel to the compressors. We wanted to paint the white conduit cases and brackets before they were installed, so the crew set aside all the pieces we would need. The crew tested the entire system with us before asking us to sign off on it.

New England Ductless installed a complete heat pump system in our home. The company is called "Ductless", but our home already had ducts which they were able to utilize. The whole process, from sales, to installation, to follow-up was done professionally, expediently, and courteously, and that includes the office staff. The contract also included the removal of our old oil furnace and oil tank, which was handled well. They set a date and time frame for all the work and kept to the schedule. It took me a little while to understand that the thermostat reacts little differently (allowing a little more temperature latitude) than with my old system, but the technician explained why. The system has been operating for a month now and everything is working perfectly. I would highly recommend them.

We are very happy with our system. Davidson (as lead) and Christian were on the project for the week. They were on-time and well organized every day. Communication was great from them and the company. I felt the pricing was fair. I also very much appreciate the fact that we were able to make small adjustments to the project without being constantly hit with change orders. That allowed to install the best possible system. They also helped by getting my rebate application completed. I would recommend NED to anyone looking to move to mini-splits. Update.... Had a minor issue of conduit becoming disconnected outside on house because of super high winds from a storm. I called and NEC came out the very next day to fix and added an extra zip tie to ensure it doesn't happen again. Very impressed with customer service after install!

The first gentleman (Ryan McCue) that came out to assess my property and advise which unit would work best was knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the unit and process to install. The installers and electricians were both curious, respectful and timely. I appreciated the time they took to help me locate the correct place to install the until and condenser as well as keeping me informed throughout the process. Thank you all for your wonderful service. I am also extremely pleased with the product itself! You wouldn't believe how quiet the unit it, I could hardly tell it was even on.

But before we could get to that point, our current water heater leaked, so I called to see if we could take care of the water heater replacement first. Great experience with New England Ductless. Right from the start, Nolan was very responsive to my questions and concerns, and he worked with me to get the right system for my home and my budget. I feel like a lot of other big providers tried to upsell me on extra or unnecessarily large equipment. Giovanni was very helpful with lining up financing for the project through MassSave, and also through their connection to Synchrony. And the actual installation went very smoothly. Renato and his team were very professional - responsive to my questions, accommodating to many of my requests, on time, clean during the installation, friendly, etc. Very pleased with everything.

From the initial consultation, where Ryan reviewed our options with us very thoroughly and made us aware of new MassSave incentives that we ended up using, to the scheduling, to the installation everything went smoothly. Carlos and Sergo did the installation and were on-time, communicative and friendly. They worked quickly and efficiently and were even done a day early. On the last day Carlos walked us through the ins and outs of the system and even helped me set up the iPhone app (with 8 units, this required some patience on his part, which was appreciated)! We can already tell the difference in the comfort of our home, and would definitely recommend them for anyone considering ductless splits!

New England Ductless did a fantastic job furnishing and installing my ductless system. The installation seems like a difficult job because every house has its own requirements but Dave (the installer) figured it out very well. Overall the installer was professional, courteous and explained everything he as doing. I was able to go to work and not worry about what was going on. NEDCo responded after several other companies came out, observed the house and never followed up with a quote. Finally when i contacted NEDCo i got a quote and was on their schedule. They also were able to install wihin about a month of my authorization to proceed, which in the business is not typical (usually takes much longer).

Good enough but far from good. Used them to install minisplit AC/heating units throughout a 2-story house. At first all went well and there was good communication between the planning engineer, project manager, and installation team. But during the installation as they hit some obstacles things became a bit bumpy. The first few times we called about things that were not working properly they were very responsive. But it is becoming increasingly difficult to get in touch with them and get concrete answers on when things will be fixed. The remaining issue is minor but still, it's been a couple months and there has yet to be a time when all of the units have been working. In addition, we were told all the units were getting had full capabilities were compatible with the app etc. But it turned out half of them are only partially programmable, you can't program the temperature only if the unit is on/off. Maybe I'm missing something but that seems really important to maximize the efficiency of the system.

I just experienced a very hot summer this past year and i had no air in my condo when i was going for a walk i saw New England Ducktless installing in my building they looked very professional so i took a pic of the van after much thought and anxiety about how can they do my unit i called them. Overall a good experience. Some misses that could have made this a great experience though. Carlos did an amazing job with the overall install of the units and lines, including going out of his way to make sure we were happy with the options for how the lines were routed for minimal aesthetic impact on the exterior and interior of the home. His communication is spectacular and he stayed late multiple days to ensure proper clean-up and our satisfaction with each days' work as well as the plans for the next day. The misses all came from lack of communication from some of the other services, including electrical install and sales. The electrical install for one of the outdoor units created a long path on the exterior of the house whereas it may have been possible to route in a more hidden manner (picture included). The path chosen also resulted in cutting of one of my windowsills. For sales there were some options discussed that required additional quotes such as setting lines inside walls or placing a condenser unit under the porch as well as promises of drawings to indicate the final decisions for where to place indoor and outdoor units, none of which were delivered on. Certainly was worried going into install day though as mentioned above nearly everything went smoothly. Special thanks to Carlos!

We recently had a 5 zone air source heat pump system installed in our home thanks to New England Ductless and the HeatSmart Arlington program. We are now enjoying quiet, energy efficient air conditioning on hot summer days and look forward to using it as our main heating system in the winter. We have an office in our basement and New England Ductless was highly considerate and worked around our schedule to minimize distractions. Kudos to Donolley and his team for working in the attic on hot days! Donolley was very knowledgeable about where the mini splits should be placed to achieve the best circulation. One issue was that the outside condenser infringed on a concrete pathway around our home. Donolley devised a plan whereby he cut some of the lattice work under the deck so that the compressor stood closer to our house thus keeping the walkway clear (see photo). This unique approach took creativity and time. Donolley took pride in his work, knew what he was doing and really cared if we were happy with the final result. We highly recommend him and the New England Ductless team!

Editing: New England ductless addressed my concerns and offered a free annual cleaning to compensate me for the challenges I had during installation. The mini splits are great and my old drafty home is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I would recommend New England Ductless. I think I am going to be very happy with my new ductless AC/Heat system. The technicians were very nice, cleaned up well after themselves, and just generally pleasant to have in and around the house. The installation process was challenging due to a lack of communication. The installation was scheduled for 3 days, but it actually took 8 days to complete the final walk through. The first day the correct products had not been dropped off, the next day one of the units was too big so that needed to be replaced, the next day there was an electrical problem, and the motherboard was blown. We then waited for a new motherboard, and the one that arrived was wrong. Then the correct mother board was identified, but I didn't know the technicians were coming, and they arrived while I entertained guests on my deck. David, our technician was great, but I would have been a very happy customer if I was shown the courtesy of updates. I spent hours and hours waiting around, when I could have been doing other things. For example, last night the final walkthrough was scheduled for 4 pm, and he arrived at 5:40. I called the office at 4:30 and they said he left his current location and was on his way. A call at 3:30 saying "I'm not going to be there by 4, is 5:30 or 6 OK" would have made a big difference. It's OK that there were problems, and wrong deliveries. What wasn't ok was the lack of communication. Whoever orders the units, and is responsible for communicating with clients can do a better job.

The job was complicated and took 7 working days. The technicians completed the job as described, on time. The technicians were extremely professional in every regard. Carlos and the New England Ductless team did a really great job with my install. From the estimate to the actual day of install was a smooth and easy process and the price was more than reasonable. At first there was a little confusion on day 1 of install about how the units would be installed but a quick call to the project manager solved the issue. The project manager was on site within 15min and then work was started according to the plan. The team was professional and worked with me every step of the way on how I wanted certain lines and pipes to be run. They did a very good job to keeping the install neat and clean including how the outside piping looked. They took really great care to do a proper clean install and it definitely shows, it was very high quality craftsmanship. Outside of their work the only thing I think I would have changed is to move the wifi access points for each indoor unit to the outside of the unit itself. Each one was placed inside the unit, which can cause interface. I say that because the app to control the units is nowhere near Nest quality and sometimes 1 or 2 of the indoor units don't show up, you have click around the app a bit then they show up. It might be the app but to be sure the wifi units should be placed on the outside of the unit, but that's my preference. As a whole the experience of the install with the New England Ductless team was very good and I am more than happy with my purchase. I highly recommend New England Ductless to anyone who is considering a ductless HVAC system in their home.

Leak was apparently from a mishapen brass propellant connector, rather than prev. team quoted as a 'six hour job" with however many months LG would have taken to provide replacement compressor. System is only 3 months old, and while ductless system is complex by design (no home repair help!), this tech put things as simply as possible, and we're up and running.....knock duct(less)!! Thank you-=hope this system holds up at least through warranty (x1yr. initial)!!!

Artur, our salesman, took time to thoroughly explain options, including why certain choices would work better than others in our house. A 5-star rating goes Marlon and Angel, the team from NED who installed our minisplits in about a week, including duct work and vents in some rooms and wall units in others. Marlon is highly experienced, thorough, patient in figuring out the best approaches on our older house. He was also good at explaining important points to non-HVAC experts like us and willing to make a change when I was unhappy with the way a piece of exterior piping looked. Angel, who is in his first year on the job, excels at customer service and seems to be on a solid track to learning how to do this demanding work. Whatever they’re paying this team––especially Marlon––had better be tripled now that demand for HVAC installations is sky-high. One sign of a good company is what they do if there is a problem. In our case, a great carpenter was sent to fix an accidental hole in a closet, patching plaster neatly, and helped cut an air return opening in a small hallway. Another sign is staff: so many were pleasant and helpful (special thanks to Larry, Fabiba, and Giovanni), including helping with the rebate process. There’s room for improvement on sending install teams with all the equipment they need, such as the right tools to cut old plaster easily and with minimal dust; plastic drop cloths for rooms where ducts are cut (I bought my own); a shop vac; and all the piping and hardware needed to avoid slowing down work.

NE Ductless did really high quality work installing 4 ceiling cassette mini splits in my home. All of the people who worked on the installation, including the technicians Pierre and Jean, electrician Samy, and carpenter Brian, were hard-working, skilled, and great at solving problems that popped up along the way. The system setup was done really thoughtfully so there was zero impact to the front or sides of the house (awesome!). The electrical work was done way more elegantly and minimally than I was told would be possible by an external contractor. And the units look great -- modern and unobtrusive. I gave 4 stars because the upfront out-of-pocket costs came out higher than the original quote, but the team did work with me on this to find a tenable solution, which is much appreciated. I highly recommend NE Ductless and would hire them again if I move.

Mini splits were installed a few years ago, and they have been game-changers. This summer we had maintenance. Shortly afterwards one of the units, which has a pump to drain condensation was clogged causing a leak. Crew was here first thing the next morning and fixed everything. Very pleased. Edit July 12, 2022. We just had mini splits installed on in another unit in the house. Wonderful company. Also had the existing units cleaned and serviced. One unit had a pump that was not working properly. The tech figured a way to not need the pump, installed the condensate outlet and ultimately rewired the unit, which was required because of removing the pump. All of the NE Ductless technicians and electricians were professional, thorough and personable. Highly recommend.

We had a single zone ductless mini split system installed last Feb (2019), which we use for both heating & cooling. We absolutely love the system and also the service that we’ve received from New England Ductless. The installation went very smoothly & the techs who came to our place were super knowledgeable. They were able to answer all of our questions and were very respectful of our space (i.e. kept the work area clean, made sure the door was closed to prevent the cats from getting out, positive/friendly attitudes, etc). About 9 months the installation, we started noticing an issue with the temperature settings. To make a long story short, the issue was escalated to the owner (Joseph Wood), who was very helpful in finding a cost effective resolution. When we sent his techs back out to install a remote sensor, they were very kind and professional. We asked a bunch of questions, which they patiently answered. They did not leave until we were confident that the issue had been resolved. It’s always a pleasure to interact with Mr. Wood and his team. If you’re on the fence about which company to select, I highly recommend going with New England Ductless. The Mitsubishi products that they install speak for themselves, so what really sets NE Ductless apart from the others is their customer service. You’ll be in great hands with them!

Have used NED for repairs/maintenance on our old AC system n when it came time for a new install their was no hesitation using them. I was told the new install will take approx. 2 days. The techs (wish I cud remember their names) were on time each morning, they were pleasant, wore masks on their faces n booties on their feet when entering the house. The lead tech explained each step along the way n even made suggestions I never thought of. The entire job took less than the 2 days (48 hrs) they told me. It was n 8am start , lunch break n done by 4pm on day 1. 8am start semi break done by 2pm on day 2. Job took approx 15 hrs over a 2 day period. They cleaned up very well. NE Ductless changed our old heating system from gas to electric, installing some ducts to heat the primary spaces in our house and mini-splits in other areas. In our old victorian house on a tiny lot, this wasn't an easy task, but they did an admirable job in a reasonable amount of time. Follow up on outstanding issues has been very prompt and the people doing all the work have been uniformly friendly and knowledgeable and have followed procedures to make us all feel safer during COVID. The new system works well, although struggles to get to target temperatures when outdoor temperature is in the single digits.

NE Ductless installed split units in four rooms. One required feeding refrigerant piping through crawlspace, basement and garage in order for it to be able to reach a unit on the far side of the house. Given the age of our house, that was no easy task. The installation was done efficiently and professionally; then teams arrived promptly each day and generally cleaned up well after they were done. We had one small issue, where the exploration of the basement to find a path for the pipes resulted in two holes being drilled through the floor of the bathroom immediately above the area being explored. NE Ductless has arranged for their contractor to come and perform the repair; I'm assuming this will be performed equally professionally. Finally, they also did all then paperwork needed to secure a Heat Loan and to receive the Mass Save rebate, saving us a lot of inconvenience and potential delays. We strongly recommend them.

I actually contacted 5 competitors for a quote and NED stood head and shoulders above any of them. Our household is at severe risk due to the Covid pandemic. I informed NED of this and asked that they wear masks. Every worker affiliated with the organization arrived masked, and worked fastidiously to avoid any risk of exposure. This was no small feat given the tight crawl spaces they had to work in. For this alone, we are exceptionally thankful. However, NED further exceeded our expectations: every worker arrived on time, and the job was finished ahead of schedule, with no surprise costs. Our first contact was with Artur who came to evaluate our needs. He took the time to generate 5 different proposals and had those proposals in my mailbox within 5 hours of his visit. We were totally new to concept of ductless systems, and Artur patiently took the time to answer our questions about the proposals in several follow up phone calls and emails. When we thought of a sixth solution for our household Artur generated a new plan and estimate for us almost instantly. . When we decided to move ahead, the office staff responded immediately with an installation date, and helped us get approved for the 0% HEAT loan. Once installation began, Renato and Nilton worked so hard to install our system. I cannot think of a more professional, skillful and considerate team: after they left, we discovered that they took the time to craft a clothes rod for some articles of clothing we had in the attic. They had carefully moved all of our clothing to the new clothes rack, and thoughtfully rearranged all the articles we had in storage so they could do their work! They were beyond considerate, collaborative, and were immaculate in their finish work, carpentry, and clean up. Who does this kind fo work nowadays?? Best of all, we got hit with a heat wave the day after the project ended. We broke in our system and could not get over how quiet and effective the units were. We're now sitting in comfort, feeling great about our purchase, and even better that we are choosing an environmentally friendly way to heat and cool our home. I'll try to keep this short. Based on my own experience over the past few weeks, NE Ductless is an ok company. They appear to be quite busy and install many many units which might explain some of what I experienced. During the estimation process, the sales person spent 2 hours at my house, took multiple pictures, discussed everything in detail and greatly talked up the company. A day later I get an estimate with the wall unit marked in the wrong location in one of my bedrooms. This was the ONE room we spent the most time talking about since the unit was going on an interior wall. I was baffled. I send an email with a drawing explaining the mistake and a couple days later receive a revised estimate that was a couple thousand more than before. However, no mention of "oh we made a mistake", zero responsibility, no apologies. "you will still enjoy this great system". It took another couple emails and a phone call with the sales person to finally get an acknowledgment of what happened which resulted in a slightly adjusted estimate and an iWave air cleaner thrown in. Fine, we moved forward. Day of the install arrives. Install team is almost an hour late. No big deal. I work from home. They had an emergency elsewhere. I invite them in and there was about a min or so of looking at each other. They had no idea what the job was. No project manager in sight. So I turned into my own general contractor and walked them through the whole house explaining every location and what had been discussed. Multiple things were re-litigated as the install team was a little worried about a couple areas. This took at least an hour of my time. Install team themselves were great. I have no issues with them. Courteous, responsible, considerate. They cleaned up nicely and overall did the best they could I'm sure. The install went so smoothly that on Day 1 they left at 1:30pm or so. Day 2 was just finish work, cleanup and walking us through the system. The job was estimated as needing 3 days. Looking back now, it could have been done in one had they been there at 7 and worked a full day. One more note: the siding of my house is beige. The ducting going up that was installed is white. I assume they make that stuff in a couple of different colors. It's the details like this and my experiences noted above that make this not a 5 star company.

I had NEDuctless install a Mitsubishi mini-split heat pump system in 2020, under the town's "group purchase" negotiated price. The actual installation was quite professionally done. However, the planning/sales/user-education aspect of the engagement missed giving me a number of important facts about the system. One of those was that the WiFi link for remote/smart control of the system was an additional-cost item. They also failed to mention that without that link, and the remote thermostats which can talk to it, the temperature controls are misleading; measurement is taken at the unit, not at the remote, and the temperature you set on the remote is *not* the temperature you will get in the room. Without the data link, the recommended approach is to not treat the remote's displayed setting as temperature but as relative "power" and push it up and down by feel or by reading another thermometer. I can work with that, but it's unintuitive and annoying for those of us used to setting a thermostat directly to desired temperature. If I have them retrofit the WiFi data link, there are reportedly remote thermostats which can talk to it, taking control away from the misleading internal temperature sensor. My best guess right now is that parts and service to retrofit that improvement would cost about another $1000. If I had known this up front I could have factored it into the purchase decision and budgeting. The other alternative to get improved behavior, which I'm investigating, is wiring and programming a bunch of microcontrollers to act as smarter IR remotes, and have them turn the system up/down as needed. I suspect I can do that for much lower cost, even counting the value of my own time in throwing these together, and can then do smarter things with it than the standard system would support. (Folks have also homebrewed replacements for the direct WiFi interface -- details on the net -- which permit even more precise control and monitoring. But since that'd plug into the heat pump's internals, I suspect Mitsubishi would say it voids the warranty, and I don't want to do that prematurely.) Also, another missed bit of communications: When we were planning the system and doing the installation, nobody pointed out that if I moved one of the heads to a different wall we could save the cost of one condensate pump. Again, I'd really have hoped that pros would work with the buyer to find an optimal solution. On the other hand, they *did* work with me to find an arrangement that would cover the house with just five heads (by leaving the sixth, centrally-located, room to be heated/cooled by those adjacent). If I'd had to go up to six heads, that would have been a much larger jump in price; five is the maximum for the basic system. And now that I do understand its quirks better, it's really not a bad system; it does what I needed it to do. The guys at NEDuctless did a good job with the actual installation and have been very responsive to my questions and concerns. So I actually *do* recommend them as a team worth hiring... I just think they need to work a bit on explaining the system better to customers, preferably before the contract is signed but certainly after installation. Four stars out of five. Good people, they do a good job, but need to work on customer communication/guidance, at least with this less-than-completely-intuitive product. Sorry, but you DID ask me to review honestly...

I used New England Ductless to install ac around 6 months ago. I was very happy with the installation job that Ronalto did. He was very professional and helpful throughout the process. He explained how things worked. I am super happy with installation job of mini split. NED had used third party sub contractor to upgrade the electrical panel from 100 Amp to 200 Amp which I am not happy about. It’s been more than 6 months and my meter still hasn’t been connected. Don’t know if it’s national grid problem or electric company but the fact is it’s still not connected and the sole reason of saving on electric bill hasn’t occurred. Few days ago I notice lower vane of ac not working and ac making a hissing noise. I called NED and they were super responsive and sent Justin within few days to look into the ac. He also was professional. I would definitely recommend NED, Ronalto and Justin. Just not their subcontractor to upgrade the electrical panel. I would probably hire electrician separately rather than using NED’s subcontractors. So 5 star for NED deduct 1 for using May be not the greatest electric company.

One significant issue is that the lines to an interior mini split unit were run across the middle of a wall despite clear instruction to run them across the top corner. After speaking with their office, the lines were relocated to the position that was initially requested. This work was handled well and the office did a good job in handling it. An ongoing issue, however, is repair of holes in our walls that are the result of the first installation in the wrong place. New England Ductless is refusing to coordinate and repair the damage to our walls (one of them being an exterior wall and becoming more of an issue as it gets colder outside). I'll likely just go ahead and take care of it myself, but I really should not have to. To conclude my review on a positive note, they did handle the paperwork for the energy rebate, which is very much appreciated.

We used New England Ductless to install our new Ductless Heat pump system 1 year ago and to perform the yearly suggested maintenance on our system this past week. The system was installed quickly and professionally and works well for airconditioning and heating duties when needed. The recent system maintenance consisted primarily of coil cleaning of the interior and exterior units as well as electrical operation checks on the units. Nothing else was required. The work was accomplished quickly and efficiently by the two techs who came. The lead tech offered explanations of what he was doing and answered the questions I asked clearly. All in all, an excellent experience for both the original installation and for the maintenance. I would highly recommend New England Ductless for heat pump installations and service.

I would like to praise the Installers of my new mitubishi ductless system. Alvaro and Claudio came to my house to install our new system and i liked them from the minute i met them. They both introduced themselves to me right up front and politely asked me to walk them through the house to show them where the units were going to be. After that they explained exactly what they were going to do and covered every step of the installation process. They then explained how long it would take to install my system and then got to work. At all times Alvaro and Claudio acted very professionally, during the installation, and politely when they needed to ask me questions. They worked very hard installing my system while dealing with a cold and snowy outside environment. Throughout the entire installation they treated my house as if it was their own. The installation went smoothly due to the expertise that both Alvaro and Claudio had. After each days work they took extra time to clean up after themselves making the house, where they worked, look better than before they started. Alvaro and Claudio finished up the installation according to the timeline they proposed to me when they started the installation. Carlos and Justin were very good. But, they were the third set of installers that were assigned to our project. We did walk through a with the first two, but they changed teams twice so when Carlos got here, he hadn’t seen the house or the job before. We were not informed of these changes til last minute. The first electrician that came had no idea of the scope of the job so could not do it the day he arrived. Luckily, the second electrician they sent, Dillon, knew exactly what needed to be done. The project manager, Corey, disappeared after selling the job. Communication was terrible and because the date of install changed so often, we had people trying to deliver equipment twice on the wrong day. I would say poor communication is the biggest problem with this company. The job is done (all but the inspection), and we are happy with the final outcome, but the process was lousy.

My original installers moved out of my service area and I needed to find new people as I had no cooling from my ststem. It turned out to be a refrigerant leak in my split system AC, and the insulation on the lineset where outdoors had failed and was crumbling. Justin was professional, organized and explained things well on his diagnostic visit. When the repair date arrived, all went smoothly. he methodically went through the system, found the leaks, made the repairs, and tested everything thoroughly. The insulation repair was professionally done. He was neat and wore masks in the house. I would, and will hire NED again when the next service is needed, and would recommend them to a friend.

When we were exploring options for air-conditioning for our mid-century cape, we looked at many options and settled on ductless due to the combination heating and cooling system, as well as the energy efficiency ratings which were far superior to conventional systems and allowed us to zone individual areas in our home, without losing space to ducts. New England Ductless worked with us quite patiently to tailor an appropriate system for our house, and their pricing was the best in terms of what equipment and install they offered. And they helped in adjusting the rebates and applying for the mass save heat loan. When it came time for the install, Semy and Jean, worked efficiently and cleanly, and with appropriate PPE/masks/shoe covers, to install the units both indoor and outdoor. They were true professionals and gave great attention to detail as well as solved some issues that came up during the install in a pragmatic and smart way (e.g. running the refrigerant line for the other side of the house through the attic rather than the outside, installing the outdoor and basement condensate drain in a non-obtrusive way without having to resort to condensate pumps. The lines on the outside of the house are well disguised with existing structures and the molding work was very well done and very neat. Overall we are very happy we went with New England Ductless for our install, their team is helpful and responsive and I hope things continue to stay excellent.

Our entire experience was great, from the first call we made to New England Ductless, to the consultation with Arturo, who helped figure out what would work best for us, to the fabulous team of Samy Tingue and his colleague Simon Tewolde who installed our three-zone units. Samy and Simon both were so pleasant to have around--and it isn't easy trying to work efficiently while homeowners are under foot! The way they worked together, with Samy sharing his experience and knowledge with Simon, who was newer to the company, was impressive. They finished in less time than expected, and did a superb job.

My experience with NE ductless staff has been amazing. Honestly, I have been search for an independent contractor for the past 5 months now. Searched all of Google for any contractor located in the Quincy area. 2 of 10 responded without confidence they can fix the specific product. I even signed up for Angie's list and got alot of feedback but they're all the same. Not confident without charging at least $150 to come just take a look at it and willing to come from Roxbury. It really has been a joke. It was a twist of fate, I finally located NE ductless from a manufacturers recommendation. They advised me that NE ductless brought the most units from them. Decided to give them a call and this is where all the magic starts. First, front office staff Ms. F.M - explained my situation to her. She assisted with scheduling an appointment. Very very professional lady. Everything she has mentioned was documented and sent via email. My appointment was about a month later. She followed up with me a few days prior and I mentioned to her that even though I really want that Hvac unit, the building my parents are in may not allow that. I may need to cancel. She automatically knew what type of hardship I was going through and advised no problem. We will come look at your place first. If her techs can not help, she can recommend me to their business partner located in Dorchester. MS. FM gave me the recommendation right away without hesitation. No gimmick! I looked them up and also a 5 star company. Come the day of the appointment. Brian called me at the time they said they would. I have been WOWED since I've spoken with him. Never once was there any attitude or negativity - the staff at this company must have a great boss. They have been great with follow up, being detailed. Won't beat around the bush and very patient and never pushy and the best thing is, they have tons of options to offer to ensure my satisfaction. I live miles away from my parents. They don't speak too much English let alone knowing what to do when they know they are being ripped off. I want to be able to find someone who is trustworthy and will put their customers first, reasonably. I think this team is it! Will probably update once more, after installation is complete. New England Ductless installed a mini-split unit in our dining room yesterday. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. EVERYONE I came into contact with was so knowledgeable, and so warm. Artur came out last week to explain the installation and give me an estimate. I especially appreciated his working with me to find a unit that met our particular needs and that was affordable. Mike and Alex who did the primary installation work were a pleasure to work with and so personable. They were very responsive to any concerns I expressed and they carefully explained how to operate the unit. They even seemed as excited as we were once the unit was installed and up and running! Throughout the process New England Ductless was so thorough: from notifications (including photos!) when the technicians were on their way, to the care to be as unobstrusive as possible, to the careful cleanup.
