Fantastic service!!! Unfortunately our AC unit went out so we decided to change everything. We normally get three beds this time we got five. Diamond was neither the least expensive or the most expensive. The sales rep Cord was attentive, listened and was very personable. Sean the on staff plumber was very professional Jonah and Steven the install team were top notch. You can always tell a true professional by if they clean up after them selves. I've had many work people who have not done so If you are in the Market for HVAC I highly recommend Diamond Ask for Cord the sales rep

First off when calling Diamond to make an appointment the wonderful people at the office are ALWAYS polite, professional and accommodating. They try as hard as they can to get you scheduled ASAP And they do a great job. Before coming to the house not only did I get a text telling me my service provider was on the way it comes with a photo and a follow up call from the technician. Beginning with the sales experience, Cord was ultra professional, knowledgeable, timely and honest, the install was scheduled for about 3 weeks out. I had several other estimates that were very wide ranging, Diamond actually beat all pricing (that was not the deciding factor however) estimates in both price and equipment. Install w Harley and Noah was beyond excellent. Harley was thorough and professional. He listened and even offered up some last minute change/additions at no additional cost. Both Harley and Noah left the installed equipment area better looking than they found it. I would not use any other company. We could not be happier using Diamond

He ran a systems analysis on my very old heater and explained everything along the way and it’s importance to the efficient working of the heater. He reassured me about its safety and gave me extra information about a replacement heater if I need that in the near future. Tech didn't introduce himself or leave a business card. He installed a new water heater for me. He arrived on time, install the water heater quickly, cleaned up afterwards, hauled off the old stuff, thank me and left. Nice clean transaction and all as agreed. They will be back in a week to install the rest of my new HVAC system. I'm very impressed so far.

Possibly Better

Our estimator (Glen) was thorough and clear when presenting the estimate and immediately responded to texts and calls when there were more questions. The price was better than 4 other estimates by a significant amount, and for a higher rated product, too. The installer (Harley) and assistant were timely, professional, courteous, and treated our home with great respect. We are very satisfied with the product and service we received and recommend Diamond to anybody that expects elite service.

Fantastic job! We had very high power bills this past year, and didn't dare run the AC and with the hot temperatures we were miserable. Wayne did a quick diagnostic, and fixed a couple of things. My crawl space flooded. The plumber I called said that he wanted to call out his furnace man since the water got to it. The furnace technician gave me 4 estimates ranging from economy $900 for basic repair to premium $3,300. That comes with a 3 year warranty. I told him to not to repair. Diamond gave a great price for replacing our 20 year furnace 3 months ago. The technician said the water did not touch any part of the furnace parts. He said "no" repairs are needed. I have used Diamond for A/C and furnace yearly maintenance. They have always been on time and they have very reasonable prices. They have well trained techs and they are very "honest". If repairs are not needed, they have no problem telling you that. Thanks for a providing me excellent service. I am a very grateful, loyal, and happy customer.

Super quick diagnosis and fix in the ballpark price I was guessing-- thankfully the whole blower motor didn't need replacing vs. just the capacitor. (Whole motor would have been sticker shock!). Christian came out earlier today and serviced my furnace. That was this morning and when I sat down for dinner I noticed how warm our house was. I checked the thernostat and set it for 68 AC. Temp was at 72. An hour later temp was at 75 with ac on. I called their office and they sent Jeremy. He checked everything, spent about an hour and everything is working beautifully now. UPDATE: changed review from 4 to 5 stars. The manager looked over my invoice and realized the newish technician had overcharged me and refunded me almost half of my money back. I usually have great service with Diamond for HVAC. They are always friendly and knowledgeable-but $500 for an electrician to tell me that all my light sockets are fine and I just need to purchase better quality lightbulbs seems excessive, especially for a customer that has been with you for several years and pays $20 monthly for the Silver Plan . And quoted another $500 just to replace 5 smoke detectors?? Although the technician was very nice and knowledgeable, I doubt I’ll be calling Diamond for any electrical issues in the future.

First starting with the quote; they came out the same week I called and gave a quote that was a good amount under what everyone else was quoting. They took videos while verbally explaining everything that needed to be done. They left without ever trying to push the sale. They emailed three separate and exact quotes ranging from their cheapest to most expensive options. It was awesome to have three different options with exact prices included. Super transparent and upfront about their cost. It was probably a good two/three months after getting their quote that I decided to have them do the install. Even after two/three months they honored their original quoted price. They did an entire furnace and AC removal and installation AND added a second vent In the master bedroom along with a new thermostat and new duct work. The week before the install they called and let me know when they were going to arrive. The day of the install they texted when they on their way. They arrived promptly at 830 with all tools and equipment ready to go. They were a team of three so they worked efficiently and clean. They were also super respectful while on site. Before they leaving they did an entire walkthrough of the work done and explained basic upkeep of the new equipment. Awesome service and workmanship. Harley, Glen, and Haley did a great job. Highly recommend.

I've been getting bids for a week now. Most of them are a whole lot of bullsh!t, just babbling sales people I tune out in about 12 seconds. Cord cut to the chase. He gave me a price. Emailed it to me so i had a copy to compare (this is not a common practice.) He explained to me why he thought he should earn my business, and why. He just might. Out of all the bids, I've only been treated with respect by two representatives, and I feel like this is a sad sign of the times. Diamond has been one of the two, and whether I go with them or not, I appreciate how well Cord represented the company. Well done, Cord - hope you get a raise, you deserve it!

Our furnace was out for three days in January. I had another company come out and spend two hours and try to tell me my whole furnace probably needed replacing. I called Diamond for a second opinion and Chris Atchison came out. In less than 15 minutes he correctly diagnosed a problem with a pressure switch and had the furnace up and running! There’s a reason Diamond Heating and cooling is highly rated on Google. I HIGHLY recommend them (and especially Chris) if you’re having a heating problem.

Hello. 3 weeks ago, the air conditioner broke down in our house. My husband could not fix it so we had to call a repair person. First we called company Right now. Repair guy spend few seconds( !!! ) looking at our AC , he said that we need to buy new AC and it would cost over $9,000 . We are retired and live on very limited income and can't afford that amount. My daughter wanted to ask second opinion and called Diamond heating and cooling company . The owner of the company arrived and fixed everything . I first contacted Right Now Heating & Cooling…and they flat out suck. Their “estimator” was nothing more than a pushy aggressive door-to-door salesman that did nothing more than take a picture of my HVAC unit and then try to get into my bank account. Next, I contacted Western Heating & Air and they were friendly and professional while giving a real estimate of what the whole job would cost. Then I contacted Diamond. The guys from Diamond were much MUCH more thorough with their estimate and offered a much better solution (the estimate actually took two days because they brought in a manager and a highly experienced installer to come up with the best plan). They installed a new furnace, new thermostat, carbon monoxide detectors, a new A/C, tubing, ducts, new return, new vent, shiny insulation, and a new thingamajiggy. Bam! They nailed it!! The job they did was excellent, the system they installed was jaw-dropping and the service they provided was unparalleled. Oh…and they beat the others on their price too! Thumbs up for Diamond Heating & Cooling and five stars all the way in every category! I highly recommend this company and I will use them for all of my houses. Thanks Cord (hope I spelled that right), thanks Dylan, thanks other guy who was there installing, and thanks to the friendly receptionist and the girl in billing.

I decided to have my 20+ year old heater and AC replaced. Glenn came out for an estimate. I had 3 other companies come out. One wanted to sell me a $13,000 system. Another was $11,000 and the last was about $180 more than Glenn’s. Their system was a step above what Glenn proposed. Glenn matched the system and did not raise the price. I went with Glenn because he was the best and most personable sales guy out of all of them. I added on a water heater replacement too. Day of install two installers came, one was one of their Senior Techs, Brad. This guys was great. Explained everything. Was fun to talk too. Open and honest about everything. Quite frankly, I’ve never had a better, nicer and efficient installer/Technician come to my home. If you can, ask for Glenn as the estimator and Brad as the installer, you are golden!!! I will continue to do business with Diamond for the life of the equipment.

Hi, this company serviced our 11-year old furnace. The diagnosis was 'terminal' (we anticipated that). The service tech pointed out why the 'repair/fix option' didn't make sense and suggested the 'replace' option. The sales person came to our home the next day; he was knowledgeable and professional. He suggested a unit from a different manufacturer and explained how well this unit would match up with our home. We contacted them Thursday of last week using the Yelp request for quote when our A/C died on us in 90 degree plus heat. They responded that night and said they could have someone to us on Friday--the next day!! Unfortunately I didn't see their answer until Saturday... So back to messaging again-only this time I was going to be keeping a better eye on my messages. Sure enough, I got another response saying to call the answering service and they would get me set up for Monday. So I did and they did and Monday afternoon Jason and Caleb show up after calling to let us know they would arrive shortly. They found immediately that the capacitor needed to be replaced. After going to get one, they installed it and as I'm writing this, the temp at our bedroom vent is 59.3°F!!! So now we have 2 companies to contact and cancel our appointments with that are both scheduled for Wednesday! That was the earliest that anyone else could come. And after installing the capacitor and monitoring the system for awhile, Jason pronounced everything to be good with no further need to do anything more. I mean he could have tried to upset any number of "fixes"- top up the freon for example or saying the system needed to be replaced entirely, So in my wife's and my opinions try Diamond for your A/C needs, We certainly will.

Diamond has been great. My mom had "Boise clean air" come out and quote her almost $2000 for a duct cleaning job USING A FN GLORIFIED SHOP VAC at a 1000sq foot home!!! She called Diamond H&C here cause they installed her furnace and AC. They told her the price is far far too high. She then called the company Diamond works with for duct cleaning and they charged $350. Less than 20% of Idaho Clean air/Boise clean air, AND they used a proper utility vacuum truck. Diamond also took pictures of the coils on her furnace instead of charging her to clean them cause they were still clean 3 years after her furnace was installed. Glad she did not pay $500 for Boise Clean Air to do that when they wanted to. DONT TRUST ANY COMPANY PRAYING ON ELDERLY FOLKS BEING SCARED INTO A $2000 2HOUR JOB. AN EXTREMELY LARGE HOME WITH A COMPLECATED DUCT LAYOUT SHOULD ONLY COST AROUND $1000.

They even brought in portable units to keep things cool!!! Clean install and appreciate Al, Robert, and Owen getting me fixed up quickly! My rating - May 2018 - Eric from Diamond really nailed it! Who comes to fix your AC on a Friday night in the rain? Eric gave several options cost-wise to fix my issue. Once choosing one of the options that fit my budget, he discovered he didn't have part he needed in his truck. Rather than put me off till Monday, he called another Diamond repairman at home and says, dude come bring me part xyz... sure enough, 15min later here comes the part and we got my AC all buttoned up. I really feel like what I paid for was worth it given all the variables that could have caused failure. Thanks Eric and Diamond!

At the end our our proposal process, not only did Diamond present a system that would be significantly more efficient that our old system, but they also presented a system what was one of the most highly industry rated, and at a lower cost point than the local competitors. Additionally, their technician was able to propose an installation type that would remove some of the issues we were having with our older system around air build-up. The installation was seamless, and the crew were friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They did the install in less than a day, and did a phenomenal clean up as well. The new system works really well, and is significantly quieter than anything I have ever used. Additionally, we discovered, after they left, that the pilot light in our fireplace was accidentally put out during the install. I called to let them know, and they sent Wayne out the following morning to re-light it. He was on time, super friendly, and very efficient with his work. I can't say enough good things about Diamond Heating and Cooling, and the team I worked with, from the sales representative, to the technician, to the install team, to the office staff, and finally, the HVAC tech that came out today. We had Diamond come out to provide a second opinion after another contractor told us our heat exchanger was shot and the furnace needed to be replaced ($$$$). The technician did a thorough inspection and provided photographs of the unit to demonstrate the condition (we think the other contractor showed us pictures that were not even our furnace!). He reported that the furnace DID NOT need to be replaced. We then had a second appointment with Diamond to do a service a cleaning. Last year I had them install a Rinnai tankless water heater in the late winter and a new HVAC system in the fall. They were on time and professional. As part of the water heater install they also ran a gas line up to the kitchen, did some duct work for my dryer vent and added some water lines so for a utility sink at a reasonable cost. The HVAC install went well too. I was also replacing the floor in my utility room and they worked with me to remove the old furnace on one day and install the new system a few days later so I had time to put the new floor in. I coordinated with them before hand. They met their timeline and I met mine so they could do the install. Both the water heater and HVAC have been working great. Highly recommend

Serviceman came to residence after first calling, explaining he was available earlier than appointed time. After inspection, he gave a professional opinion that our gas water heater did need to be replaced. Explaining that they do not even do repair work after so many years (I think he said 7) even though the life expectancy is about 12 years, and since ours was 21 years old, the conclusion was simple. We had Diamond Heating & Cooling out for a second opinion on our 12 year old gas water heater that quit working. The pilot light went out and would not relight. The first company said the gas valve needed to be replaced which would be $480 and take a week to get the part, but since our water heater was 12 years old we should probably just replace it for $1982-$2490 depending on which warranty we chose). When we had Diamond's technician look at the water heater he pushed a reset button. That's it folks. We had been doing a woodworking project in our garage that required a lot of sanding. All that sawdust did something to the water heater to make it overheat. Cleaning off the sawdust and pushing a button was all that was required. We didn't even get charged for the call because it was a second opinion. We got a quote for a new water heater just for fun and the same product/service was $400 less from Diamond! We were so impressed and THANKFUL for his honest evaluation of our problem that we signed up for their annual furnace maintenance program. We will definitely be doing business with this reputable company again. Highly recommend.

Final Update - I'm fully happy with the service I received from Diamond. We had some issues with the pricing but not only did they resolve them, they did it without me having to call back multiple times. -- The following has been fixed/corrected/resolved. They missed that it was still under warranty and have since corrected that mistake. I initially gave Diamond and Heating a five star review, however, after looking over the receipt and finding out more information about what was done to repair my furnace, I had to come back and correct my review. After the work was done, I looked into the service that was done and called for a few other quotes. Turns out, not only had Diamond removed their competitor's sticker on the furnace (Diamond put in a new AC for us last year and removed their competitor's sticker at that time on the furnace) but our furnace was still under warranty. If I would still have had their competitor's number, I would have had this same service done for 1/3 the cost of what Diamond charged. Everything is working fine with the furnace now, but I'm not very happy about the price difference. -- This has been resolved. They missed that it was still under warranty and have since corrected that mistake. Got back from a trip to find our house as cold as outside, in December. Called Diamond and they promptly got a technician over. Buck was great, worked fast and found the problem within a few minutes. A few minutes later and one part we were back up and running and didn't have to wear coats in the house anymore.

I had a minor electrical issue with my furnace that I could not sort out. I scheduled a service call with Diamond and they sent out Wayne Roley. Wayne was on time offered and put on protective booties and mask and had determined the issue within 5 minutes. Explained everything to me, made the repair, tested the system and advised me on a new thermostat installation. He was knowledgeable, professional and educational. I sincerely appreciate how easy Diamond was to deal with and the quality of the service man they sent on my job

Alex from Diamond Heating & Cooling diagnosed and corrected my ducting issues as well as my "whoever used to live in my old house did some creative rigging of the system" issues. He was very professional and knowledgeable. The price was good. He did a lot of work. I was a very happy camper !! I even signed up for their maintenance plan (great discounts by the way). Have already recommended Diamond Heating and Cooling to my friends and family. Just had another service performed. Apollo was professional, efficient and friendly. He checked my system and the controller. He checked my carbon monoxide and fire alarms and found out that my wired fire alarm wasn't even connected and the wires were bypassed. That could have been a real problem if I ever had a house fire. I highly recommend this company.
