The best service ever. The whole process for installation by the team members were excellent they made it look seamless. From the inspection of my old system, the proposal made to the installation so professional and friendly not forgetting the office staff employees who were so on point hearing your concern and booking your appointment to suit your schedule. To the Management of Peppers Heating and Air: I would like to take the time to recognize 2 of your employees who went above and beyond to assist me in my time of need. In brief, my upstairs A/C unit was not properly cooling, and my son was scheduled to visit for the weekend. Unfortunately I became aware of the problem on a Saturday, and as I reached out to various heating and cooling companies, everybody was giving me the same answer that the earliest that a technician would be able to look at my problem would be on the following Monday. After making contact with Lisa at your company and after explaining the time sensitivity of my situation, she took the time to call me back to tell me that she had made contact with a technician that was working on Saturday, who could come take a look at my issue the same day. The technician, Thomas immediately identified my issue, and was able to make the repair on the spot. You have very a valuable employee in Lisa, who went the extra mile to accommodate me in my time of need, as well as Thomas who was attentive and addressed my issue. In today’s times, it is difficult to obtain that level of customer service, and I wanted to take the time to personally thank them for their efforts. They represent your organization well. I cannot say enough kind things about this company, every person I’ve interacted with has been phenomenal. Hunter and Sean in particular hustled like hell to get our new system into our attic. Late July is not the ideal time to be working in an attic in a house without air, but they got it fixed for us and were professional and courteous in the process. Peppers has been wonderful and I will definitely be using them again, and would highly recommend them to everyone!

My initial experience with Peppers was fantastic, and it has not diminished since! I was told by another HVAC company that my HVAC units (indoors and out) were not actually 10 years old (we were told by our home inspector when we purchased in 2012 that they were 1 year old, and apparently he read the manufacture date wrong), but rather 20 years old and rusted out. Peppers Heating & Air was ultimately the company I went with after getting quotes from several. They installed the new indoor and outdoor units in one day, and installed a mini-split in my son's room the next day. All the work was completed perfectly, costs like an electrical line for the mini-split were part of the quote so I didn't have to chase down a separate electrician, and they've been amazing about the maintenance visits that were included as part of the purchase since. I'm very, very happy with them individually and as a company overall!

OUTSTANDING COMPANY AND EMPLOYEES!!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Mike came out the very next day when I called with a problem that a previous HVAC company could NOT fix!! The other company had come out 4 times, done some work, charged me $1700 but still no AC and then tried to blame us for their work & not fixing problem!!I am a true 'Peppers' believer & will trust them in the future with any work needing to be done. Both Mike and the Service Manager came out & fixed a problem in 40 minutes that the other company couldn't fix in 1 & 1/2 weeks. It turns out that the other company forgot to PLUG IN the exterior fan when they touched it!! I am traumatized by this event & am grateful to Peppers who came out the very next morning!!!

Called Peppers about my outdoor AC unit making a strange noise. Receptionist was very friendly and attentive to my concerns. Was able to schedule me for a service call very quickly. Thomas the tech was great. Called to inform me of his arrival time and showed up just as he said. Upon arrival, listened to my concern and jumped right to work checking out my unit. Informed me of what my unit was doing and why it was normal, also pointed a few things for possible future concern. Also was very respectful upon entering my home and happily used his mask and booties. Checked my ceiling unit and gave a few pointers on maintenance. Overall was a great experience and I thank Peppers and Thomas very much! Also great rates for their annual maintenance contract! Greatly recommend their service.

I had my air condition unit repaired with another company, and two days later there was a leak in my kitchen from the A/C. I knew from past experience the coil was clogged, but I did not want to call the company that did the repair work prior because it was a different location than what was repaired. Plus I was not sold fully on their services. So I called Peppers after reading their reviews online, and the call was answered promptly I explained what was going on with my A/C. I was given two options have the technician clear the clog or obtain their annual plan for just a few more dollars. I was thinking about getting an annual service plan, and I agree that might be the best option. The tech called to let me know he was on his way and was on time and did a good job. I waited two weeks to do this review because I wanted to make sure my problem was corrected. I am happy I chose this company and their annual plan.

Pepper’s LITERALLY saved our lives. So yesterday, my husband smelled a weird odor inside our home. He contacted Atlanta Gas Company, and when they got here, they said that the levels of carbon monoxide in our house were so much that we shouldn’t even still be alive. I thanked God, then went to work contacting HVAC companies. I called several before my mom suggested that I call Peppers. My entire family is from Conyers, and some of them had used Peppers before. I called and spoke to Christy, explained the severity of our situation, and she IMMEDIATELY went to work. She assured me that she was going to do everything in her power to make sure that our problem was resolved. Within an hour, Christy let me know that their technician, Chris was on his way to our house. Christy also kept in contact with me by checking on us several times until they arrived. At 8 pm at night, Chris repaired the flue pipe on our house. Pepper’s took great care of my family, and for a more than reasonable price. I cannot thank them enough. UPDATE: I left a negative review at first but I want to highlight how they made it better. 1. They called me almost immediately to rectify the issue. 2. They were able to fit me in once they received a cancellation. 3. They arrived within 2 hours of calling me back. 4. They fixed the minor repair in less than 45 minutes. 5. They charged a reasonable price. 6. They made me feel valuable as a customer. 7. YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY UTILIZE THEIR SERVICE. I WILL CONTINUE 🙂 Initial poor review below has been resolved: They were good until now. I have a maintenance contract with them. The AC went out yesterday. It's 95 degrees, and I am 9 months pregnant. I called asking when they could come out. They said Saturday. It's Wednesday but ok. I said yes. Then she said it would be $149. I asked her why and she, the lady who answered, told me because it's an emergency on a Saturday. I didn't ask for Saturday so I asked when is the next time they could come. She said Tuesday. I am due next week to have the baby. On top of all this, they have serviced a rental property for me twice for $99 each. I actually have a contract on my primary property and its more money and a delay even though they are biling me for an emergency. Given my pregnancy and the fact I just paid for a $1700 repair on another property, you would think that would matter. It doesn't obviously. Go where you can be valued as a customer. I won't be renewing my contract with them.

Had Peppers come out for an estimate on my 30 year old heat pump. Decided to replace the whole system . I was given a fair price and excellent service. From Rodney who came out for the estimate, to the guys that installed everything, service was excellent. Also had the old ducts cleaned. Tech spent 4 1/2 hours doing a really thorough job. My house is not large. No doubt, I chose the best company out there.

I wanted to have completely new conditioning, ducts, and vents installed in my basement & virtually every estimate was the same but what separated Peppers HVAC from the rest is the advice Mr. Peppers told me about my current system. He also allowed me and my wife to bounce all kinds of questions off him, answering every one of them with detail and a smile. My installation was completed by Mr. Hunter Morgan & Mr. Sean Rappaport and I would compare their service & quality to an all inclusive 5 star resort. They were on time every day 8:30am, never left the worksite until the work day ended, and they walked me through their work after each day. This is the neatest HVAC hook up I've It seen(it looks great). It was truly was a pleasure doing business with this company!

I contacted this company in regards to my unit that went out. They provided excellent customer service from the first call and right throughout the repairs. I had the pleasure of working with two different techs Robert did my diagnostic and he was very knowledgeable and honest which I completely appreciated. As a young woman it’s always intimidating to have someone come out for any repairs because so often people take advantage of you not knowing about the field. This was not the case with Robert he broke everything down and explained in a way that even a child could understand. On my repair day my tech was Aaron, he was very professional, worked neatly and answered any questions that were asked. Overall all around great service. Late on a Friday night we noticed it was a little warm in the house. Went to check the thermostat and sure enough, no AC. After sweating through the night I hopped on Google, hoping there was somebody who could come out on a Saturday. Peppers popped up and had the good reviews to get a call. I spoke with Lisa, who was very pleasant and helpful. Within TWO HOURS of our conversation they had a technician at my house, with informative and helpful texts leading up to his arrival. The tech, Michael, greeted me in the driveway. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He got right to work diagnosing the problem (capacitors in the fan motor went out), and immediately ordered the part to get it fixed. Michael stayed in touch while we waited on the part to ship, and as soon as it was in, he was back out here and had the unit working again within about an hour. He even cleaned the condenser for no extra charge! What a guy! Our AC has been purring like a kitten ever since - something we will never take for granted again. Can't recommend Peppers enough! Their communication and professionalism is unparalleled.

Peppers has been a great experience so far. The customer service was great and she was able to answer all of my questions within her ability and helped me to decide on the best course of action by providing all options. I selected the current summer special which frankly, is higher than a few I have seen advertised, however all of the ratings for Peppers were great and the companies with the “low deal“ did not have the best ratings so I went with the saying you get what you pay for. And I’m very glad we did! We had been waiting on another company that was so slammed thx to the deal for 2 weeks for our service and while waiting our A/C stopped working. Tried calling the “low deal” guys and had to wait 25 min to speak to someone just to wind up cancelling it all together. Called Peppers the same day and they were able to get someone to my home the next morning. I received a text for the appointment, the morning of the appointment I received another text including the technician’s name and picture so I knew whom to look out for , and he called me to let me know he was en route! Once here, he was able to see an issue with connection between the new furnace I had installed earlier in the year and the old A/C unit and and repaired it quickly and did the rest of the maintenance. He was done very quickly and I haven’t felt my air blowing out this cold since we first moved into the home over 13 years ago. The price was very reasonable and we received a quote a little higher than I hoped for a new unit, but I know they will do a good thorough job with installation should we choose to use them. Very thankful I found them on Yelp!

Highly recommend this company for AC/Heating needs. Our unit was installed in 2007 by them and has worked great ever since. The only problem we've encountered was a capacitor replacement after several years. Parts do wear out over time. We are very pleased with the response time and service received. Update: have, since the initial visit, had our air ducts cleaned and a Halo Reme house filter added to the supply ducts. Since I have sinus and allergy problems the filter has improved my breathing ability without constant sneezes immensely. Am very thankful to the first technician who recommended this be done.

I received a quote from another company but the customer service, attention to detail and follow-up I received from Peppers was fantastic!!!! My unit’s fan suddenly stopped working at 10pm, leaving the house to stay an unpleasantly warm 80 degrees. I called around 8 am the next day and got a same day appointment between 2 and 6. Mike called before arrival and arrived maybe around 2:30pm. Fixed within an hour. Some debris had prevented a connector from connecting and the fan wasn’t kicking in because of it. With it gone, our house went from 83 (outside was in the mid 90s) to 78 by 10pm. So pleased! Mike is super nice, very professional. (Purchased a 2.5 Ton American Standard Split Gas 80% system) From the initial phone call to PHA, I spoke with Kayley who was so kind and easy to talk to. She answered all of my questions and concerns regarding the process, and was able to send someone out the same day that I called. (that was awesome) So, Rodney Peppers (one of the owners) came out to take an assessment. Rodney was also very kind and professional taking down info needed to do his proposal. We had a few other HVAC companies come out prior to calling PHA, which advised of purchasing a 95% efficiency furnace. They claimed this was our only alternative given the condition of the old system we had. When Rodney talked with us after his review, showing us pictures of our old system, he explained that we really would be fine with the 80% efficient unit which was much more within our budget. He was very thorough in explaining what we were looking at in cost and efficiency. It was a much better proposal than all of the other quotes we had received. Very impressed with his honesty and confidence that they could do the install with no problem, after he left, I called him before he could get out of the neighborhood to try any set up a appointment to install. Kayley again helped me through all necessary online processing needed. Two days later, we met Gatlin and Alan, the technicians sent out to do the install. They were also very respectful, kind and professional. They answered any questions we might have had and worked diligently to get our system up and running. The job was successfully completed in a days time and I was so happy I wanted to give them a big hug.. ( I just gave them a air hug instead) . I’ve had a contract for maintenance with Peppers for at least 10 years. I’ve always been pleased with their work, but my dealing with Rob today just reinforced what an excellent and honest company they are. I had them out for an issue with my air conditioning and heating earlier in the year. At that time repair work had been done. When I called today with as issue, not only did they come on the day I called, but when Rob inspected the system, he saw that there was a possible connection between the current issue, and what had been repaired before. He called the owner for permission to handle this situation, without charging me for additional services. In today’s business environment, where do you find such honesty and care for their long time customers. Rob and the owner showed their loyalty and the value of me as a customer. That’s something all the money in the world can’t buy. Guess you can say, I have confidence in their work!!

What a great company! In the middle of this ridiculous long heat spell, my air conditioner decided it needed help. I called in the morning and the agent answering the phone was so helpful and was able to arrange for a tech to come later that day. What a relief. This is not unusual with Peppers as I have needed them a couple of times and they are very responsive. And reasonable! For a last minute request, there was no expedition fee. I would suggest if you have an annual service contract to have your heaters and air-conditioners serviced, consider Peppers. You don’t be disappointed.

A truly great company. My upstairs A/C went out yesterday. I called this morning at 9:00 AM, and the A/C was back on by 11:00! Tech Chad Phillips diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. He even asked to have the service charge waived because I had PM done on the unit just a few weeks ago. I am one happy customer! A/C out again Sept 2021. Scheduled an appointment but nobody showed up. When I called they said the appointment was never entered in their system. The best experience we could hope for in a heating and air company. Was told from a company that was “reliable”, after looking at our units for about 10 minutes, that our inside and outside units needed replacing and would cost $6500. Decided to get a second opinion. After reading reviews on other sites, Peppers stood out as one that got all five stars and glowing reviews. I called them and the very next day they had someone out at the house. He spent nearly 4 hours actually trying to determine what the problem was instead of just saying replace it. $300 later and the house has never heated this good. This visit was for an estimate. But I called Peppers because they stand behind their work. They installed a unit in my house after the old unit was damaged by lightning. It had issues to begin with, but Peppers stayed diligent and kept tracking the problem until it was finally determined to be a faulty unit from the factory. They brought another brand new unit and it has worked flawlessly.

Peppers heating and air are the best in the industry to me. We kept losing heat, my mom is in a hospital bed at my home because of two strokes. I had another company come look at it and they wanted to sell me a service plan and never found the problem, I woke up the next day and my system was frozen over. I called Peppers heating and air and Kenny came out within an hours time and he stayed until the found the real problem three hours later, he was not going to leave us without heat. Mike Chapman was the Peppers’ technician who arrived and conducted the inspection of our A/C unit to include the installation of a new filter—filter provided by Peppers under their maintenance program. A little low on freon, Mike topped off the unit. Unlike the sound of the name, free-on, freon is not free. ;-) Mike is a professional and I am most pleased with his service. I will continue to rely on Peppers for my HVAC needs.

The installers, Marvin & Tyler were professional and prompt with the installation of our new AC unit. We had a follow-up service call the following day for the Quality Assurance inspection and I have to say that Gatlin and Ed went above and beyond! Not only did Gatlin offer to replace our old thermostat but, he also gave us piece of mind by checking out the coil on our other AC unit at no additional charge. While Gatlin was inspecting our other AC... Ed was working hard to proper insulate our outdoor lines and he even cleaned our other outdoor unit! Lastly... I have to give Gatlin HUGE KUDOS for going the extra mile; after he inspected our 2nd unit, which was located in our attic - he noticed our Attic fan and took it upon himself to adjust the thermostat on that fan so that it would keep our Attic even cooler - saving us money on the upcoming summer AC/electric bills and affording us added comfort to our 2nd floor living space. He didn't have to do that and we certainly didn't discuss it but, it really shows how much he cares about 100% customer satisfaction. For a bit of background, I use a wheelchair. Late in the afternoon of Friday, May 24, the beginning of the Memorial Day holiday weekend, I returned home to find my A/C not operating. Although it was 5:45PM, I called Peppers' business number. I could detect that the call was forwarded to a secondary number, and sure enough, Christie answered her cell phone as she was driving home from work. She took down my information and said they were booked up through Saturday and half of Sunday, but she would call me back when she got home in about an hour. Just a few minutes later, however, she called back to report that the owner would come out personally, since he lives in the neighboring town of Madison. Shortly after 8PM, Todd Peppers came to my house, diagnosed the issue (a clogged condensation drain), and had my system back in operation by 9PM. If I could give 10 stars, I would. The staff is extremely friendly and will bend over backwards, even on a Friday night, to help their customers. I doubt there are very many service companies on the planet that would respond so rapidly--and on a holiday weekend. Peppers ROCKS!

The technician came out and found that our upstairs unit was out of Freon. He found that our downstairs unit was 1 pound low. We were advised that the R22 is no longer available and the Freon that could be added to an older heat pump would not heat, only cool. He let us know what our options were and we told him we would have to think about it. He said they were happy to come out and do free quote to install replacement units.

My husband & I were looking for someone, who could service our air condition. So I allowed my fingers to do the walking, through the internet and came across this replicable company. I was very skeptical at first until I started reading the customers reviews. All of the reviews were positive except for one, and even that review became positive. Needless to say, I spoke with Katy, on Friday, morning, July,7th, by late afternoon, Katy had someone at our home, checking out our system. Unfortunately, we had to purchase a new system... The Prices, that Peppers' team quoted, my husband & I knew we needed to get financed. Katy was very gracious enough to recommend a financial company to us, however, my husband and I decided to refinance with our credit union( which in the end was waaaaaaay better for us.) We saw our representative of the credit union on Tuesday, 7.11. 17 (we was financed in 10 minutes!!) Katy set up the appointment for this morning (7.12.17)around 9ish, and by a couple ours later, WE HAVE AIR FLOWING THROUGH OUT!! Everyone, that we've dealt with either on the phone or in person, have been nothing but wonderful. We even met Todd who happens to be the OWNER of this wonderful company. I own a home with an a/c unit that is 24 years old so when it stopped working one hot August day I was sure I needed to buy a new unit for this place. In fact when I called Peppers exactly 8 mins after they had closed for the day (and yes they still answered the phone) I told the lady that the problem is that its ready for the landfill. They sent out Rodney, the friendliest tech we have ever dealt with, who told my wife that we didnt need to bury it yet (his exact words). $200 later we have cold air rolling out of the vents. They could have easily sold me a brand new system that day, but they didn't. They could have not answered the phone after closing time, but they did. This is amazing service people. Go here.
