The 4th of July brought a serious heatwave, and our A/C was failing to keep up. We called Meeks when it was apparent there was an issue, and I was able to get an appointment relatively quickly (within a day or so of my call). Ryan came out and was able to discover a few issues, but we had to wait 24 hours for our A/C to unfreeze. Colby came out the next day and was able to refill our refrigerant, clean off our coils, and even replaced our filters although they weren't too badly off. Overall, the service was reliable, efficient, and professional. I would absolutely recommend this service and plan on signing up for their yearly service program!

I called Meeks Heating & Air because they had great reviews and I have been checking around to see about getting a new system for my home. Steven arrived on time was very polite ,professional and took the time to actually measure my home and check the ductwork to see what was going wrong and why I was not getting even distribution throughout my home . He did not just try to sell me a system like some other companies, he explained everything to me and what I needed to do, not just put a good system in but to make the system work correctly by fixing some current ductwork that didn't have the correct flow structure and not just waste my money. I appreciate him, I appreciate Meeks and I will definitely be using them sometime in the near future. We love Meeks HVAC in Jenkinsburg, GA!!! We pay $100 year for their maintenance plan. 2 months ago, we had our annual "membership inclusive" system maintenance. Yesterday, our AC went out and we called Meeks. We got an appointment for this morning between 11-2. They came at noon, fixed the issue within 20-30 minutes at no charge and we have air again! Our air conditioner went out a while ago and we’ve been waiting on another company to come and help but they couldn’t make it due to being so busy.. I googled around and found Meeks and there is a reason they are the only company around here with 5star rating.. they gave us a Day and time window (which other companies did not ) and showed up almost early. We had David and Colby come out and they were Professional and Proficient. Others had told us we needed a whole new system ( we just replaced the blower when the heat went out and didn’t wanna spend 6-10 thousand dollars. Well Turns out one wire was hooked up wrong and the outside unit needed cleaned.. now our house is cooling down and I couldn’t be happier.. Do yourself a favor and call Meeks next time I’ll call them first. Professional and Honest hard working guys.. thanks David and Colby I hope we don’t see each other any time soon but if my stuff messes up again I know who I’m requesting.

Had Meeks come out and clean our dryer vents. This was the first time we have ever done business with their company. Their process, from the original call , to the on time scheduling and show up, to the cleaning was friendly, prompt and dependable. Drew and his helper were professional and courteous. They not only provided excellent service but fixed my vent that had fallen. He provided before and after pictures of my vents and answered all my questions and kept me informed throughout the whole process. He showed respect and care for our us and our home. I used another company to "repair" a heating issue with my furnace. After nearly a thousands dollars later and several cold nights we contacted Meeks to fix the repair. The company promptly responded to my request for service and had several times and days of availability on the week that I contacted them. Their technician was on time if not a little early after he informed me of his arrival. He corrected a wiring problem and within minutes their was a noticeable change in the warmth and how the unit was performing. I am convinced that his thoroughness and professionalism not only saved my family money but also extended the longevity of the furnace, without overcharging me for the work.

I started using Meeks Air back in Fall of 2017 when I purchased a home in Henry County. Meeks performs the bi-annual Heat Pump maintenance on my two units. In addition, I've used them for a hvac duct addition. In Spring of 2022, Meeks replaced one of my HVAC units. Because of the sustained superior service I had received from Meeks over the years, I didn't bother to even get a 2nd quote as I've come to appreciate their service, and simply put, I trust the! Just as they do with routine maintenance, their workmanship and professional during the replace/install of my HVAC unit top notch. Meeks is highly rated for a reason. When our AC went out on a 90 degree night I frantically searched the internet for answers, starting with the manufacturer website. When a host of Atlanta based Trane specialists showed up I was discouraged, but then I saw Meeks was nearby, and I hoped to support the local folks doing good work. The reviews were impressive, but honestly I was still braced for the worst. After a hot night where nobody in the family slept well, I called at business open at 8am. Hannah listened, asked good questions and said a specialist could be it later in the afternoon. Brian called well before I expected him to be available. He identified the blown capacitor in minutes and said it was under warranty, so there was only a nominal fee for the service call. We had put off getting it serviced since we bought the house and I was terrified this would be a high dollar “I’m gonna need to finance this repair”. Not only was the price fair, Brian went ahead and serviced the AC and the cost of the warranty service call and the regular service was still under what I had hoped would be the “best case scenario price.” After paying Brian said they would reach out later in the fall for the second service and that it was included in the servicing price I just paid. In my job we talk about “surprise and delight”—where someone is both surprised and genuinely joyful when they work with us. Meeks was both of those things, including one of the Top 5 Customer Service experiences I’ve ever had. Frankly it’s easy to get conditioned to mediocre customer service and a kind of pervasive cynicism can creep in around repairing a system you don’t fully comprehend. I don’t think trust necessarily has a price but when someone has earned that trust I find I’m willing to pay a fair price and want to ensure those folks have my business and the business of others. I’m grateful to Meeks, Hannah, Brian, and a business that prioritizes doing good work and treating folks with care and genuine humanity. And, selfishly, I’m glad to know I’ve got someone to rely on that I can trust. If you’re skeptical reading a glowing review like this, I get that, but I promise this is true to our experience and in no way was this coaxed or persuaded—just one person telling other folks that you deserve to be treated well and with care and thank goodness the folks at Meeks have made that their business. (And if y’all wanna franchise out into other fields—say auto repair, internet service, used car sales, well that would be fine by me :)

My AC Heat Pump was freezing up so Brian diagnosed it as a bad defrost board and sensor. They had to order parts but they kept me informed as to to the time schedule for the part to come in. When the part was in he came right back to install it and it is working right again without freezing. I was very pleased with their professional service and great communication. I called Meeks Heating and Air to get a quote for cleaning ducts & vents. They sent out one of their technicians Drew to explain the process and to make a quote. He was just awesome in personality and knowledge about the process. I felt his sincere and honest nature. So, I scheduled the appointment for the cleaning service. Drew came to do the job and brought Ethan along with him. This young man was also impressive with honesty and customer service. Drew and Ethan worked together with hammondy. They didn't do a rush job like some companys would do just, "in and out". Both of them went above board to ensure that the ducts and both furnaces were cleaned properly. They cleaned up as they worked and didn't waist time do the job. I know they treated my home as if it was their own homes being done. I would highly recommend Meek's Heating & Air services just because of these two fantastic young men. I felt as if I've always known them, and further I respect both of them for being so trusting and honest about everything they did. I was included in the entire process and can say that I got everything that I paid for and more. Now, they called the owner who worked with me on the pricing for "The New Germ Warfare" Halo-Led". This technology is put into your furnace and makes your home's air like a hospital environment. If you can afford it add this for your personal health. The owner also, honors veterans with a discount. Drew provided me with before and after pictures of the ducks to show the quality of work. This is the company to hire. I'm not easily impressed, so I grade tough. I'm rating them with a well desired 10.

Unfortunately, it was not installed correctly, long story short.. When David & Drew arrived at my home, they were both so friendly & professional. After a very thorough inspection of my unit, he found more than one issue. He was in no rush to leave, standing out in the hot sun to answer all of my questions! My AC went out and i needed to get a quote on installing a new one. I was refereed to Meeks through a friend and thought i would give it a shot to get a couple of quotes. Stephen arrived to my house at around 10:00 and wasnt done with my quote until almost 12! He was extremely thorough, he took measurements of all my rooms, went all the way into my attic to inspect the duct work to see my set up, explained that my current unit was too small for my house because my house was renovated before i bought it and the previous owner added more square footage. While the price from Meeks was higher than another company, the 2nd company i had that did a quote for me was there for about 7 minutes. He took 3 pictures, gave me some generic piece of paper that had a pre printed price and left. Stephen actually took the time out to sit down at my kitchen table and really lay it all out for me. Would i pay more knowing that someone actually cares? yes, yes i would. The 2nd guy who came didnt know that i had issues with air flow and my ducts were torn (Stephen did because he actually went into my attic) and offered me the same AC unit size that i already have, which isn't the right size for my home. Stephen was fantastic and i look forward to working with Meeks for the future. These other big time corporate Heating/cooling companies should take notes.

Our old AC unit needed to be replaced (we didn't want to invest in getting it repaired due to its age) and our duct work needed to be altered to fix some hot spots in our home. We received quotes from 6 different companies. Each company proposed a slightly different solution. We were impressed that Mr. Meeks came in person to give the estimate instead of a salesman. Of all the options presented, Mr. Meeks' solution made the most sense to us. Several other companies had mentioned doing what he proposed, but chose to quote us a different option due to price. Despite needing to redo nearly half of our ductwork, Meeks' price was still in line with the other companies. Mr. Meeks answered all of our emails and phone calls with questions very quickly and professionally. Once, we got him the signed proposal, he had his technician, Ryan, out to get our old AC running right away to hold us over until his install crew could be out. Ryan was very professional and quickly had us cooling again. David and Brad came to do the install and were also very polite and professional. Mr. Meeks came by while they were at the house to check on their progress and bring some supplies. We were again impressed with his involvement in the job. We had one small install concern, but Mr. Meeks had Ryan out to tweak it right away. Ryan made sure to remind us that they have a 3 year labor warranty on the new unit plus the 10 year parts warranty before he left. He assured us that they would be more than happy to make sure we stayed satisfied with the job. The hot spots in the house have all been fixed and the unit seems to be running perfectly. Meeks did an excellent job. They have certainly earned all of our heating and air business going forward.

I received a new customer discount, and an Angie's List discount. However, if I would have added the new customer discount and the Angie's List discount back onto the invoice, I still would have considered the pricing EXTREMELY reasonable. Meek's service techs are very kind, customer oriented, very skilled at their professional, and honest, fair folks. I highly recommend this family owned and operated business that has grown their business to have brought in very special people like Darrel. I would ask for Darrel the next time I need service, but would trust any service tech that Meek's would send to my home. Thank you Darrel and the Meek's family! 8/2/15 Google won't let me add another entry for today's experience, so I am editing the prior review to reflect Meek's service today: Last night, the upstairs (where the bedrooms are) had no A/C and it was 89 degrees. I was expecting my daughter to drive into town with a car load of friends this evening and I had no idea how I was going to accommodate sleeping arrangements in almost 90 degree bedrooms! I called Meek's Heating and Air this morning. The tech named Darrell was on call. Darrell did a little trouble shooting over the phone. Even though the things he had me try did not restore the air, I greatly appreciate that Darrell walked me through some things that might be common causes of no A/C. Darrell of Meek's Heating and Air left his home on a Sunday to come out and take care of my family! Upon arrival, Darrell was as cheerful as he was when he was here on thursday for an unrelated problem. Darrell performed a quick but thorough assessment, found a loose wire, secured the wire, and the A/C was restored! He explained his findings, what he did to remedy the problem, and gave me some suggestions on how to get the upstairs cooled sooner than later. I put the A/C on 75 in the "on" position "instead of my usual "auto position (I will adjust it back to "auto" when things have cooled in a few hours) and opened all the upstairs doors for a quicker cool down as recommended by Darrell. Darrell is an exemplary representative of Meek's. He is very pleasant with a kind demeanor, has keen assessment skills, and quickly works to problem solve. Meek's is the only heating and air provider that I will ever call when I need work performed.
