We needed an urgent diagnosis and repair for a frozen AC system. Aire Serv was able to get to the house within 24 hours and identify and fix the problem immediately. Great communication from the technician, Evan Read. We even got a text before he arrived with his photo! This is a rental house, so Evan called me several times to explain what he found. He did a thorough check of the system and recommended several preventative repairs. Provided a detailed written explanation of everything and took photos since I was not on site. Truly awesome service and communication. We have a home warranty, but I will be calling Aire Serv for this system. Highly highly recommend.

Unfortunately, Christmas and holidays already busy enough, we had an emergency furnace situation for the garage apartment we rent out close to Christmas. I looked at the reviews online for Aire Serv and was impressed with all the 5 star reviews. Needless to say, I can see why. Very prompt service and they stand behind their work. An extra shout out to Tammy that works in the office, always polite, informative and made sure we were taken care of. And, a special shout out to Tyler. He was the one that initially came out. Very knowledgeable. And, even helped us with financing options. Thanks guys. We will for sure use you for any future heating needs or repairs.

Our tech, Evan was super friendly and informative. He explained everything in a simple easy way I could understand and it didn’t feel like he was trying to “sell” me anything. He was honest and upfront about what issues could wait and what should be taken care of as soon as possible. The reason I only gave 4 stars, was that our tech showed up 4 hours after our scheduled appointment time. The scheduler had originally told me I would receive a text on the day of our appointment when my tech was on his way. Well, five minutes after our appointment time I still didn’t receive a text. I called and asked her if he was still coming. She said she would call him and then call me back. It took her about 30-40 minutes to call my back to say that the tech was caught at another job taking longer than expected and that it would probably be a few more hours before he arrived. I believe he arrived around 8:00PM. I liked that even though it was after hours, I didn’t get bumped to the next day. I didn’t like the lack of communication. I had to call and ask what was going on and then wait on a response and then wait 4 hours for him to get there. I’m hoping this was just a fluke, or maybe the office staff accidentally overbooked. I really liked the tech and hoping when I use them in the future that this isn’t a continuous issue.

Thank you Evan Read and Aire Serv for fixing our AC! I called them Saturday morning after dealing with no air for 3 days and calling other heating and cooling businesses and received no return calls. Evan called me, said he had a few calls in front of me and would keep me up to date on when he could be at my house. He was here by 10 am and did not stop until he had fixed several issues. I had never used Aire Serv before this experience. They were recommended by Angie's list and I'm sure glad I used them instead of another provider I had used several times in the past. The technician arrived right on schedule and gave me advance notice that he was on his way. He spent quite a bit of time inspecting my aging AC unit and air handler. He recommended and performed some maintenance which resulted in better efficiency for my AC system. I will definitely use Aire Serv in the future.

Installed 2 surge protectors. One on inside unit and one on outside unit. Installed "start assist" module to outside heat pump. Arrived on time. Pleasant. Went above and beyond to solve problem we had with a bathroom exhaust fan back draft flapper that was constantly flapping when the unit was on. This new unit has more power and pulls a lot of air. I like it a lot.

We got a text with his photo and ETA, which was great because I am a pretty small woman and I was working from home alone for most of the day. Aire Serve was fantastic from the moment they answered my call until the job was completed. I knew the HVAC had not been taken care of by previous owners and was very concerned I’d need a new unit. Not the case as Tyler walked me through everything, showed me what was wrong, how it could be fixed and at what cost. WOW! I love Aire Serv. My first experience was July 2015 when I had a blown compressor and had to get a whole new system. Mark Banks, the owner came out to the house explained everything, helped me finance the new Lennox and the work was completed within a week. I've spoken with Jackie and Tanya in the office, both are so so nice and very helpful. John Connelly came today to do a maintenance follow up, he's very knowledgable and gave me a number of helpful tips for the care of my new system. He couldn't have been nicer! They came out in March and fixed the heat. They came out again this when the zone boards went bad, and fixed them free of charge because they were under warranty. But that's not why this is a five star review. The service in the office and in the home from the technicians was nothing less than stellar. They were friendly, accommodating and efficient. Phone calls and emails were answered promptly and professionally. I cannot say enough positive things about Aire Serv. They were great!

I believe positives should be told, since too often people only see and hear negatives. Our older A/C unit failed to work one day. I called AireServ based on a Google search and reviews. I not only received prompt service, I received a call back asking, if an earlier appointment would work better. John Connelly arrived and diagnosed the problem the options began. We could we have just patched the system and went on our way, but my experience with quick fixing a major problem usually ends up costing more money and aggravation down the road. I cannot speak high enough about John’s professionalism. Most people need their better half to be involved with a decision of this nature, (it is not only the right thing to do, but also to stay out of the doghouse), so John offered to come back after a full day of work at 08:30pm, so he could speak to both of us together about our options. John arrived promptly and was genuinely polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. Genuineness is a trait I believe has been lost in a lot of areas of our society. John did not try to pressure us to add equipment we did not need, but informed us of all the options available. I believe good customer service is the most important part of any business, and many other businesses are faulting in this area (especially in WNC). I believe AireServ and John know how to give excellent customer service. We give them both 5 stars based on our experience. This review is based on our service call and consultation for our options prior to installation. I will write a separate review after the installation occurs. This is an updated review of the installation of a brand-new air-conditioning unit. Every single thing that occurred from installation (which only took a few hours) to paying the final bill was flawless. The professionalism, friendliness, and genuineness are all things AireServ believe and practice. I give this company, and all the employees I have had contact with (6), the highest rating I can. Give them a chance; I do not believe you will be disappointed. In addition, I did not receive anything for these reviews other than superior service.

Our heat pump stopped working on a Sunday evening, so Monday morning I called the company that installed our system, and they said they could not come out until Wednesday. I told them the temperature in the house had gotten down to 60° overnight, and they replied that was the first appointment they had. So I called Aire Serve, and John came out on Monday, worked on the system, and we thought it was fixed. However it was not producing any heat, so I called them again Tuesday and they sent John out and he had it fixed in a matter of minutes.

Aire Serv's professionalism, integrity, and genuine commitment to providing exceptional service was apparent from our initial sales consultation with Amy Hughey and a follow-up appointment with John the same day (initial natural gas service tech). The excellent service continued a few days later when another service technician named Bo arrived at 7 am in the freezing cold to install a piece of equipment on the outside of the building. Bryce Gilbert and John Armstrong completed the project by not only successfully completing the installation of a natural gas heater in our upstairs classroom but by going "above and beyond" by repairing the wall where the heater was installed to ensure our safety (this was a MUCH larger task than they anticipated but they never once seemed frustrated or complained about the additional work). I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Aire Serv and will continue to utilize their services for any future needs we might have at the WNC School of Massage and refer them to anyone I meet who is in need of assistance with Heating and Cooling.

We had an issue with our AC not working. The technician, John, arrived before the estimated time, was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and considerate. After introducing himself, John asked to take a look inside and proceeded to use shoe covers so as not to track anything into the house. I always appreciate that since we have had some very messy maintenance men. John quickly deduced the problem and proceeded to fix it and was very friendly and courteous while doing so. This did not take a very long time and he even stayed around for a little while longer to check and monitor the outside unit and to make sure that his work was effective. We would happily use AireServ again. Also, the person we spoke to at the dispatch office was very friendly and helpful and called twice to confirm that we were ready for the technician and that he was on schedule. Bo came out on time and explained everything they were doing, what to keep an eye on, and little service maintenance tricks I can do myself over time. The job was estimated to take all day as they installed a new AC system and they had it done in 4 fours. They left the ducks sealed better than they found them, and even threw on a new plumbers strap for the furnace pipe just because they were down there and saw it was missing. I will certainly be using them for my seasonal needs on my new "old" house.

Reliable. Conscientious. Competively priced. What more can you ask for? On a routine maintenance call, AireServ discovered the gas line was leaking on our 29 year old system (A/C and Furnace). I had American Home Shield, and they wanted to assign a company 55 mi away - AireServ was in town, and knew the system, so that complicated matters. When we discovered the entire system was going to have to be replaced (the entire system was obsolete at this point) - Mark and his team - from front of office to inspection - worked with me on best solutions; dealt with AHS; completed the work efficiently; installation went without a hitch; cleaned up all the old junk and the work area. I highly recommend them if you're doing "due diligence" for a complete installation or need service on an existing unit.

Ryan Jackson came out to fix my Air Conditioner after a hot humid, very uncomfortable weekend. Initially he was going to be here on Tuesday and they were able to work me in on Monday first thing, whew. Ryan immediately knew what the issue was and got to work on it. He was very thorough and really looked at my system to see what he could do to help. I must say it was wonderful to work with such a personable and knowledgeable technician. He showed me how to care for my system and gave me pointers on how to reduce energy costs. I highly recommend Aire Serve.

I work in the commercial multi family business and use AireServ all the time on a consistent basis for all my residential units. They are very helpful, friendly, and always respond in a timely manner. Most of all, they are honest! If a unit is broken, they recommend replacement. But, they will do anything they can to save and troubleshoot when possible. They are very knowledgeable and have saved many AC units. Mark is the supervisor whom I communicate with and he helps me every step of the way. Whenever I need something, all I do is call! Bo Callihan is my usual technician and he is equally as great. He knows his stuff and gives my maintenance team pointers on the systems in place to help them troubleshoot, so we don't have to call them all the time! All in all, great company and great staff.

AireServ recently repaired my air conditioning unit by replacing a capacitor. The serviceman came promptly at the appointed time. He diagnosed the problem, and proceeded to clearing explain the mechanics of the unit, and the reason the repair was needed. He patiently answered my questions in a polite and professional manner. He wore the disposable shoe coverings inside my hose, which I appreciated.
