Candra KingI had a horrible experience in the beginning trying to get a bed to deliver my baby, but once I got in the nurses and staff more than made up for it. Everyone is very caring and knowledgeable. They really take the time to educate you about any procedure and answer all your questions. We encountered so many different nurses through out our stay and they were all amazing. Our anesthesiologist Debbie was so incredible and I loved her from the minute I meet her. She is a special woman. Jean was so sweet and helped me during breast feeding. Just to name a few more Ashley, Hailey, and Marilyn you all were so sweet and kind. Thank you for taking good care of me and my baby girl.
Andrea McFeetersDelivered my first child here and had an excellent experience. The staff were all attentive, caring, and hard-working. We are still in awe of Kisha, a nurse we will never forget who helped us in more ways than we can count.
Rooms were adequately sized, food was surprisingly good, staff visit your room at least every 2 hours while you are awake. Highly recommend this hospital for delivery!!
Do ensure you have your guests bring comfort items like pillows and blankets, as the chairs and couches are not terribly comfortable.

I have not had the time to thank them, but would like to take this time letting them know I think about the care they provided him everyday. Thank you so so much and we wish you all a Happy Holiday and a Merry Christmas! I truly wish I could do more for you all who work in this hospital.
Pat WillisMy fiancée was admitted here for an out patient surgery. The facility was clean... mask required regardless of vaccination status. The doctors & nursing staff were outstanding in regards to the knowledge and care provided. They were very attentive to him, answering all my questions. The recovery and rooms used were clean and fully operational. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone who has medical needs.
Lucy CuppI and close family members have been patients at Sentara Leigh Hospital numerous times over the years. We have also been patients in the other Sentara hospitals as well as in the non-Sentara hospitals in the area. Leigh is great. The medical care is top notch; the staff is caring and friendly. The facility is well kept. All Sentara hospitals in the area rate 5 stars, but there is a little something about Leigh that gives it a teeny, tiny lead. The Sentara hospitals are all quite a bit better than the non-Sentara hospitals in the area.
LL FrancisGreat experience with registration, outpatient labs, and most recently radiology/ultrasound biopsy. Hannah and Elle were my nurses for the 4+ hours and were wonderful. I was a healthcare worker and appreciate seeing the extra little things.
Jackie MaldonadoWhen I say amazing instant service, that’s exactly what we got! We were fighting with doctor to get an appointment made with the right radiology location and doctor was giving hard time. Went to Sentara Leigh with referral and couldn’t find who we needed to speak to to get the urgent surgery set up. Leslie Moore, I think she works at the hospital, she guided us to radiology. By this time our nerves are a wreck and stressed out. Out of no where an Angel descended on us, Maggie Trimmer. Sentara does not pay this woman enough. She went well above and beyond to assist us and guide us. She took us to the correct place where Deanna Wesson jumped into action and set up an urgent appointment for the very next morning. Sentara Princess Anne could learn A LOT from Sentara Leigh. You 3 ladies are my angels and I will forever be grateful for your extremely efficient and quick assistance.

The woman who did my IV was stellar and I actually didn't feel it!! Overall I had a great professional experience and would absolutely use them again. Great job Sentara! Thank you for taking awesome care of me and making me feel safe and very well cared for.
Gwen BOf all of the hospitals in Hampton Roads I never hospital until Leigh. I was in need of a hospital and was taken by rescue there has the other hospitals were overloaded so we diverted. I had reservations but they are all disappeared. From the one person that walked in the door to the triage nurse to the doctors and especially the nurses, Radiology people are absolutely outstanding. I have a degree an radiological medicine and I will never go to another facility again. I'm not biased as I was a student there for radiology he wants to go 20 years or so probably but that does not sway me at all. It was very unusual to see certain modalities change but it seems here the people they hire love their job and they treat the patients very well. I would just suggest the food be better...
