I went to OKH South last week for an angiogram, and their entire staff was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! Every single nurse or clinician I came in contact with was beyond kind and compassionate, making my experience 10x better. They were very thorough and efficient, and they left no questions unanswered!! Not to mention their state of the art hybrid operating room- it was super cool to be able to see my own arteries! I’m from Connecticut, but making the trip for Dr. Warren was one of the best decisions I ever made❤️

I purposely drove a long way to Oklahoma Heart emergency room so that I could receive the best care possible. I was in a great deal of pain due to a ruptured disc in my shoulder.. The doctor took his time with a thorough exam and the staff attended to me width the utmost in professionalism and compassion. My case was taken very seriously, although it was not heart related. I left wirh a solution and am tons better now. Thank you, Oklahoma Heart Hospital!

Our mother was Care Flighted to Oklahoma Heart Hospital South. We have never experienced so much care and concern from a health care facility. Everyone we encountered, from the Doctors and nurses and every person involved in her care went above and beyond in our mother's care. Our RN Dany kept us informed of everything that was happening and answered every question we had. She is a special person. That being said everyone offered their best. We are forever grateful and thankful.

I’ve spent a rough total of 35 days in this hospital over the past 6 years. I give this place a solid 5 stars for each time I’ve been hospitalized. Drs Chohan, Reiker, Jewell, Nizzir, these guys are absolutely amazing. They not only saved my life but were instrumental in giving me back a high quality of life. The nurses and staff are the most wonderful in the field. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who suffers from heart issues. My only concern is that their association with Mercy doesn’t lower the quality of care and personal.

Can't speak for the whole building but the X-Ray department has their stuff together. I got referred there to have about 10 or 12 different pictures taken. I signed in at 1221, was immediately checked in, waited about 5 min before getting called back, and was walking out at 1239. The four employees I interacted with were all very nice, seemed very happy, and just made me feel welcome. Can't wait to have X-Rays again!!!! :)

I have never been treated more special than I was when I was in the hospital there, 2nd floor. The two nurses that were caring for me were extremely professional,intelligent, very kind and attentive. Dr. Chung is a very intelligent, caring and thorough Cardioligist. He saved my husband and my life.I can't express how much I appreciate the fine care I received. The team was remarkable.The office staff in McAlester are excellent and very helpful. I COULD NOT BE MORE SATISFIED WITH MY EXCELLENT CARE !!!!!

Took my husband to emergency entrance. The staff had him signed up and in his room within 10 minutes. Around 10 different hospital staff were with him at one time or another. Each and every one was extremely professional, clean, organized, efficient, friendly, great bed-side manners and very good at sharing detailed info and diagnosis including what were and were not the issues. GREAT staff and very thankful we are nearby.

I have been an in-patient three times at the South Oklahoma Heart Hospital location. Every time, the care received was extraordinarily good. Everyone from the surgeons to the cleaning people are focused on helping the patient recover. The nursing staff is exceptional. You receive a lot of attention and they are quick to respond to a call when needed. They too are focused on your care and recovery. The rooms are large, pleasant, and nicely furnished. The food is very good. They even allow one meal for a guest each day you are here. I’ve been in other hospitals and, honestly, there is just no comparison to the quality of care you receive at OHH.

I had to visit the Emergency Room unexpectedly with very high blood pressure. I am 71 and they took me directly back and wasted no time taking care of issue. They even called my heart doctor upstairs to let him know that his patient was downstairs and he came by as soon as he could after he gave them instructions over phone. I had to stay in hospital for 3 days while he worked on getting my blood pressure under control while I am taking a new cancer medication during my therapy. He consulted with my cancer doctor to make sure all medications would work with my therapy. I could not ask for better care by all the nurses, doctors, and staff. The food was good and you had choices where usually everyone on floor received the very same thing. If I go back to ER, it will be this one. Thank you to everyone for serving the public as you do. Stay safe.

From the point where you are dropped off until you walk out of the hospital, you are met by staff, technicians, and medical professionals who sincerely make you feel like you and your care are the most important thing that they need to be taking care of at that exact moment. Everyone is kind, caring and has a pleasant smile on their faces and a warm encouraging word to say that immediately puts you at ease. I have had 16 major surgeries at some of the top hospitals in Manhattan and New England and I would rate OHH for care, attitude, ability and professionalism above all of them. When my daughter and I complemented individuals the standard answer was "Thank you, that is our goal"! Dr. Christopher Barry, Dr. Rico Guerra and Dr.Marc Weitzel are outstanding physicians who embody the spirit of the Hippocratic Oath. Their hospital is truly a reflection of their care and attitude. I will be forever grateful for the amazing care that I received in their capable hands, and all of their kind help and exceptional treatment. My family and I will be forever grateful for the life changing treatment I received from the OHH doctors and your facility. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I had back surgery and had to stay two days and a night. Can I just say that the nurses and the technicians accomplished assisting my needs, they were all very accommodating and generous, and benevolent. I wish I could remember their names, but I must say that the night crew was my favorite. I know when I have my future back surgeries I will try my best to book it here. Of course I can not leave out the food either. I must say that the hospital is very kind to give a complimentary tray to my guest, which happened to be my husband, and a picky eater at that. We both LOVED your food! It was almost shocking that this was a heart hospital. We even spent the extra $5 for the extra tray of food for him before we left. Even the food workers were great and hilarious. I can not say enough about my stay. I hope this shines some light on those fantastic workers at the Oklahoma Heart hospital please don't change, because it made my stay and recovery that much better!

Doctors at OHH saved my life. AFIB was treated with 4 different AFIB meds but reverted to AFIB after one week. Shocked back into regular rythym twice, reverted to AFIB both times in 5 minutes. Pacemaker installed next day. I now have energy to cook, etc. Got my life back. Words cannot express my gratitude for the lifesaving treatment I received

Being a nurse myself I fully understand the responsibilities and the role of a nurse and I want to thank each and every nurse that cared for our mother as if she were your own. Had a heart ablation done there. Can't say enough great things about the staff. This has been the best hospital experience I've ever had. I had encountered several different staff throughout the entire procedure, probably 20 different nurses, doctors, staff, and every single one of them were amazing! Dr who did my procedure did an amazing job as well. Just an overall great experience for being a hospital.

I can't say enough good words about this facility and its staff as in the business office personnel, the people who work the ER, the doctors, the nurses!!!, the food service staff, the excellent food provided and delivered to the room by them, the chaplains, and last but in no way the least, the janitorial service staff members who excelled at not only keeping the rooms spotless but always had a kind word to say despite their busy routine at Oklahoma Heart Hospital South. All of these people have proven to me that both compassionate and competent care can be had at a stressful time when a loved one is so very, very ill. The dedicated excellent doctors and nurses saved my husband's life two years past now and have provided nothing but excellent care for him ever since then during his other subsequent hospital stays and appointments. The emotional support for my family has been a steady source of comfort, as well. Thank you to all @ Oklahoma Heart Hospital South!

I ended up here at the ER at 2:30 am with significant heart issues. They staff from beginning to end and doctor were perfect and the facility is amazing. Very impressed and satisfied with the ER. Also when I needed records of that for my doctor they were in my hand in minutes by a nice lady. Great place and great people.

I must move them down one star not for quality of care issues, but rather for the fact that when I called them tonight, they flat out refused to provide me any information about how crowded the ER was at that particular moment. Obviously, they have every right to do that. But when I have a family member with a "right on the border of debating whether or not we need to make the trip" situation, a bureaucratic policy about not providing basic information about the status of the hospital is the last thing I need. I'm glad the hospital is doing so well that they don't have to care about customer service, but I'll give St Anthony's a try next time we have a choice.

I can't say enough positive things about this hospital. My mother was transferred to Oklahoma Heart Hospital South and they went above and beyond trying to save her. Even though there was little hope, they worked on her all night, not giving up until we realized all efforts had been exhausted. They could see that I was having a hard time agreeing with my family about turning the ventilator off. At that point, the doctors took their time and went over everything with me. I knew she was already gone and that was the reassurance that I needed to be ok in carrying out her wishes. Living without my mom has been the hardest challenge to date. I can say that I don't question our decision and will always remember the effort the doctors and staff put in to trying to save my mother.

I cam here, finally, after putting up with chest pain for several months. I was attended to immediately by an amazing staff of nurses that immediately ruled out a heart attack. Dr. Fitzgerald was my doctor and he was very good at explaining everything he was going to do to me. After a couple more test the heart hospital couldn't find anything wrong, life threatening. My nurse, Heather? I think that was her name kept me calm through this good but to me bad news, since I STILL have no idea what is wrong with me. Not gonna lie, I was a d**k when they told me that everything was fine because trust me I did not feel fine. Once again my angel Heather(please be the correct name) talked me down told me I wasn't alone and recommended doctor Kahn, who I will be calling to do more in depth tests. Through all my BS she had a smile on here face and seemed genuinely concerned for my well being(which is more then i can say for the ERs in Norman, nothing against them at all just for heart related issues, please please please go to a heart doctor). I felt as if i was their only patient and thats goes a long way with me. I know i was frustrated the i left and i hope the nurses and doctor see this so they know just how much they did for me today. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband had an angiogram done and the staff (,nurses, administration, doctor and even the cafeteria people were awesome).... The nurse Tara was awesome. She heard my husband and I talking about getting a hotel cause we live in Arkansas and didn't feel he needed to ride that far.. She had us stop and wait a few minutes as we were getting ready to leave. We waited and she made a call to Rose. Next thing we know they are giving us a voucher for a hotel night and already made all the arrangements. It was a lot better hotel than what we could afford. So thanks to everyone at Oklahoma Heart Hospital on South side!!! Special thanks to Nurse Tara and Rose!!!!

They have all taken their time to explain what was going on and have been both preventive in nature as well as proactive in caring for my mother's quality of life. Most of the time there is an amazing staff. That said, I recently experience judge-mental, sarcastic, condescending , and incompetent staff whilst I already scared with my medical emergency. In 3.5 years as a patient here I am happy to say this is not my usual experience. I have 22 years of medical experience and the staff last night disregarded their professional behavior over personal opinion.

This place is amazing. I brought my mother in law to the ER. She was admitted. The care the nurses and Doctors have shown her has been of the greatest professionalism. The appearance of the nurses is very professional and modest. And the food....OMG, it’s outstanding!!! I have been to several hospitals. And this is my favorite by far.

I was sent from my home town doctor for an echocardiogram and with in a few hours I was admitted and they ran test for 4 days. The hospital staff was very courteous, knowledgeable and impeccable with their thoroughness. Very pleAsed! I go back the 24th for my aorta valve replacement surgery, I feel confident with my care team! Best in the country!.

Dr. Cannon n staff are top knotch. Answered all questions in a way that was understandable. Nurses ,Respiratory and lab coordinated so the patient was able to rest. Family was encouraged to participate in patients recovery process. Food was outstanding. I recommend this hospital for all things heart and lung related.

This is by far Oklahoma's primary heart hospital! Best parts? Their nursing staff! Mallory, Dien, Jennifer... best by far...Randy,Courtney, Riley, Meagan, Kamber, everyone from G pod. THESE people more than represent what care and service mean! I never proposed a situation that they were not able to answer or provide. This is a peaceful place and easy to get the healing rest needed.Thanks for taking care of me!

MRI department room # 109 to be exact!! Lady that sits at the window #1 named Melissa has the worst attitude ever!!! And definitely needs to be disciplined!! It is obviously she's not a morning person or sick of her job!! Elderly people & other people are sick and don't feel good anyway! Patrons definitely don't need no attitude to go with the pain they're already experiencing!! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄😰

Everything went fine during by visit which was arranged by veterans evaluation services (VES) on behalf of the VA. Then 6 months later the hospital calls me asking me why I haven’t paid my bill. I was told by VES that I wasn’t responsible for that bill, because VES should pay it. I told the OHH billing office this, then they looked in my file and confirmed they had VES listed as the insurer. I even sent them an e-mail and told them in writing that VES should be billed. About 2 weeks later I received that bill in the mail. If you’re a veteran visiting this hospital for disability evaluation, be careful not to pay bills that you’re not responsible for. A) At best the OHH billing office is completely incompetent and either unable or unwilling to bill the responsible party. B) At worst the OHH could be intentionally defrauding veterans by billing them for visits they are well aware the veteran isn’t responsible for.

This hospital is by far the best facility I've ever seen. The staff all deserve a pat on the back and in my opinion, they all deserve a raise. The food was chef quality. Again, they all are best.

You don't really want to reccomend a heart hospital but if you need the finest doctor . support staff, hospital and meal services-there is no better place to go in Oklahoma. Everyone is pleasant and happy ALL THE TIME. You can tell from the free parking attendant to administration they LOVE their jobs.

Went to the ER tonight. Best ER experience I have ever had in my life. Super polite and professional staff from the time I walked in the door and walked out. Ohh and I was only there for like 45 minutes. Would like to really thank those guys for taking care of my little guy grey.

Great place to go for ANY type of ER visit. Got in and out within 1 1/2 hours with a kidney stone. That included blood work, CAT scan, IV fluids, pain relief, etc. Staff, including doctor, was professional but relaxed. Hope I never have to go back but if I do need an ER visit THIS is the place I will go.

I’ve needed to go to this hospital several times and I think it is an awesome hospital, “Go ❤️ South. Most of the staff here, has very good beside manors. Even the doctors and I absolutely love Dr. Tahirkheli and Dr. Garabelli. Exceptional 👍 they are! Food: I loved the food, it was nothing shy of a good quality restaurant. The mahi-mahi is delectable. You can feel the love from the ones who care about what they do and it shows. It’s convenient, close, and has great food. The ONLY thing that would make it a fantastic hospital is having a care facility like children’s, but only for adults. After-all, aren’t we all children inside. I ❤️ LOVE ❤️ HEART ❤️SOUTH. God bless everyone there, as you have blessed me with an effective ablation.

I'm still here going to have a quadruple bypass soon but so far the staff is great with the exception of one nurse who just doesn't have any bedside manners and very rough with injections(but that's only one of a lot of nurses who are great) , the food is wonderful the staff is friendly and take good care of me.

My husband suffered his 3rd big heart attack (2/19/23) and was sent here for his angioplasty and stent. Having to get in the hospital at 11:30 -12 am was easy and the staff was excellent. Much thanks to Dr. Haddad, our Rn's & tachs ( Donna & Becky, Myca & Ericka). The rooms are amazingly comfortable for a hospital. Hope you all got to enjoy the 4 box's of goodies and the mocha coffee.

. The Oklahoma heart hospitals are the greatest place in the world. Great doctors great staff clean. Sometimes people get mad and scramble so they take it out on the staff.
