Wonderful! Wow! The kind, friendly, efficient, thorough & fast care & service at Walk In GYN care have left me delightfully surprised. I am so grateful to the entire team(Victoria, Kim, Lucy, Maya, Cindy & the nice & skilled phlebotomist. I am so thankful to have found this awesome level of care right here in my own neighborhood of Astoria, Queens, NY. I am very appreciative of the one stop shop too: ultrasound & blood draw right in the same place. Thank you Dr. Adeeti Gupta for fulfilling this need for exceptional & accesible care for women.

I read the reviews before going in, and they were not wrong! An absolutely amazing place. All the woman’s care that you need, this place will definitely provide you with it. Since the moment I walked it I felt very welcome, and the provider and the entire team was very friendly and they all did an amazing job. If you’re a woman who needs urgent care, this is your place to go. And if you’re a woman looking for a G y N, this is also your place to go. The fastest access without having to wait days or even weeks for a space to open up to be able to see you.

I had a slight emergency, and Walk in GYN over exceeded my expectations. Wait time, What wait time? I was in and out. They really care about you and most importantly they listen. I recommend this place for any GYN emergencies and extensive care. I will be changing my care to this office. Staff is excellent!!

Everyone is very Attentive even the Ladies in the Front desk, I had an amazing Experience for my first time walking in . It does get a bit busy on Saturdays but even with them being so busy they still treat you very good and very attentive if you need something . The nurse and the Provider were amazing as well make you feel very comfortable they care about how you feel and Really Respect your decision no matter What I would Definitely recommend this place .

I have been an existing patient at this location for A while. However I’m having some billing issues currently and Cindy at the front desk helped me she was helpful and professional with allot of patience. I appreciate her help today. Also the medical staff is always efficient and polite !!!!

The provider Ashley was really nice and comforting. I had a lot of anxiety but she was nice and explained things to me even when it was busy. That made me feel better which is important to me. Front desk, ultrasound tech and medical assistant were all great and very kind.

Easy and straight to the point appointment. I know if you walk-in there is more wait time since appointments are valued first so I definitely recommend anyone to set one up the night before. My total time in the clinic was from 8:30am-9:50am approx. The doctors were very knowledgable and efficient. I feel comfortable coming back here again.

This place is incredible! The front desk staff was so kind and attentive, I got there at 10ish as a new patient and I was already back to see the PA by 1020. The PA was super kind, very informative - I feel like she really listened to me. I would literally recommend this place to everyone!!!

I always liked coming to Walk-in Gyn, but my visit yesterday (Friday 9AM) was horrible. First I could not schedule an appointment because I had an outstanding bill, which btw I have not received previously. But the straw that broke the camels back os the lack of sensitivity of front desk check out person and the person who came to tell me after nurse checked my vitals. This woman came over and told me that I came too early for my ultrasound. Keep in mind that I had one in November and had to come back in December, but was not informed that I have to come right after my period ends, I had to wait an extra month for answers. This woman was so rude, as I have dropped my head in disappointment of not getting answers for yet another month (I literally broke down a month before because I had to wait an extra month). She asked me about my last day of my period, I was upset trying to come to terms with having to wait again, this person says to me in a very rude voice: "I ASKED YOU A QUESTION!!!". then she walked away and I was finally seen. Thank God because I was scheduled for more examinations after. To add when I was checking out the woman at the check out told me to: "SPEAK UP!!!", when I asked to change a date of my future appointment. Where are you guys getting these people? The are so rude. The person who checked me in was very nice, so was the nurse who took my vitals and the nurse practitioner was very nice and helpful. However those two people have made my experience upsetting. Walk In Gyn, You have to do better. Some women are coming there in the most vulnerable moments of their lives. This was so disappointing and upsetting. F for Bedside Manner :(

Hi 👋 I must say this was my very first time visiting a Gynocologist, and I was quite nervous. From the moment I stepped in, the process was quick and easy. I gave my insurence card with my photo ID. Then finished filling my info on the I-pad handed to me. All directions were given and explained thoroughly. The staff I must say are the kindest. From the frount desk to the back, Thank you for making me feel calm and not alone. The wait was a bit long but nothing crazy , all about patience. The Medical Assistant was the most carring person I've met in a long time along with the lovely nurse , dr, receptionist. The Doctor and nurse were very gentle with me as they explained each step what they will do durring exam, even durring the exam she mentioned everything she was about to do and asked if I was okay. Thank you for also making me feel comfortable. Kindness goes a long ways and it feels good to know i am not alone in certain areas of life. 🥰

Wait time can be over two hours, but staff is really friendly and attentive to your needs and actually listens to what you have to say and they have a a lot of female staff which makes me feel comfortable, even the male staff they have here are very good at making me feel comfortable addressing my issues and needs whereas other places like mount sinai is total opposite experience.

My experience here was a good one. I’ve been here twice. If you are a walk-in there could be a bit of a wait but that is to be expected. But I did want to talk about my experience with Dr. Lisa O’Neil. She was AMAZING. She was extremely compassionate and just a great physician/provider. She informed me of anything that I needed to know. I only met with her twice but it felt like she was my long term doctor. I felt comfortable speaking with her and I’m so glad I got her. She was who I saw when I went for the first time by walk-in, and then I called to be sure she was the same DR. I see my second time around. She’s very friendly and she has this lovely bright light about her. I definitely felt lucky to have her. Thank You, DR. Lisa O’Neal!

I recently moved to Astoria, so I was a bit nervous about changing doctors and specially my Gynecologist. I can not express myself enough when I say that I am amazed by the level of professionalism, respect and friendliness I was treated with. I made an appointment and arrived a few minutes before just to filed any documentation necessary. I only waited for about 5-10 minutes for my name to be call. The rooms and equipments for my checkup, bloodwork and ultrasound were very clean and tidy.

Finally, I found a place that cares for patients. The front desk lady, Elizabeth is committed to helping you, super friendly and kind. Doctor Linda, is a sweetheart. She had a lot of empathy, was very professional and try to understand me, and explain to me everything that I was concerned about. Love it! Aside from that, it wasn't that bad the waiting time for walk-in Gynecology services. Only a minor suggestion would be that trying to keep the bathroom cleaner (it wasn't terrible but some improvement wouldn't be bad). I went on Sunday the 5th. Late post ( my bad)

Everyone had such a pleasant and welcoming attitude. Dr Marcella Mohamed was great and easy to talk to. She explained everything while she was doing the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. Even though I was late for my apt I was still able to get in and out very quickly.

Amazing and caring staff! Special thanks to the receptionist Alyssa who is so nice and helpful! Dr. Marcella was also amazing and kind. She was attentive, listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions honestly and thoroughly. Also very gentle with her Pap smear handling. I love this place and they saved me from an awful experience. Highly recommend. Wait times can be a little long but try and be understanding. They are getting to you as quickly as possible and really do not turn down most people so sometimes you have to wait but rest assured you’ll be receiving excellent care!

I visited this location yesterday for the first time. It's clean and quiet. I was very satisfied with the services I received. Everyone was patient friendly and the doctor who attended to me answered all of my questions and concerns. She took her time and made sure I understood what she was explaining. She even recommended other alternatives for concerns I was having, which showed me that her patients come first. Some doctors are always in a rush but this doctor wasn't and a really appreciated that. It's also located in a nice neighborhood and the wait to see a doctor was less than 1hr.

Everyone was so kind and accommodating. They take your concerns seriously and perform any/all necessary tests and labs to put your mind at ease. Marcela is particularly sweet and thorough and so was the ultrasound tech who’s name I sadly forgot. Highly recommend!

My assigned OBGYN has been booked for a month and a half solid and is still book for an additional two weeks, I used to live down the street from this place so I knew it existed and decided to try a walk in for an issue I was having. Normally I’d visit a CityMD but they don’t specialize in gynecology so this seemed like my best bet and I’m glad I chose here. Front desk was very welcoming and informative, works very quickly. Walked in and was processed and seen within 20 minutes on a weekend morning, it’s very clean and that calms me down exponentially. Within a few minutes my suspicions of bad bacteria over growing were confirmed and I had two prescriptions sent off immediately. Easiest and most convenient walk in for the needs to anyone with lady issues, definitely easier than my normal gynecology office so I have no doubt that I’ll be back again.

This was my first time at this facility. I made the appointment on the heels of finding something I was sure was an indication of cancer. From the moment I picked up the phone to make the appointment until the moment I left the facility after the appointment I felt embraced and understood by each person I spoke with, and the comfort and understanding each person showed me was palpable. Great customer service, particularly where patient care is concerned, is hard to come by and truly lacking because most companies just put a body in the spot and offer very little, if any, training on what this really means. And it is not only about training, but whether the person being considered for the position has a passion for this kind of job. Not everyone can handle the challenges that come with great patient care - the ability to make sure the patient feels heard and understood by listening and responding in a way that validates the patient's feelings. I walked out of the facility feeling so much better than when I arrived because I felt heard, understood and cared for. That is what great patient care is all about. Well done to all and thank you.

'Caring with Compassion' definitely fits the slogan for this clinic. Moraima set my appointment up. She was understanding and listened to all of my concerns, offering practical advise and her empathy. My first appointment was set with Dr. Monica Iverson and I wish I had more time with her. She was very gentle with me throughout my entire procedure and listened very carefully addressing all of my questions with sincerity. Amna did my ultrasound after and talked to me throughout the entire procedure. I felt very comfortable with her. Later in the appointment, I learned that I would need to set another appointment with Dr. Michael Tonsor, who specializes in the services and care I needed. Very nervous, as I never had male gynecologist before, I met with Dr. Tonsor to be greeted with professionalism and care. He had female staff in the room when he was doing his procedure and in no way made me uncomfortable. After meeting Dr. Tonsor, I felt confident that my condition would improve. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything I needed to know. It overall was a great experience and I highly recommend this location (and both doctors mentioned above)!

I had the BEST experience! The ladies at the front desk were so sweet and very helpful had me in and out. This is by far the greatest GYN office I’ve been to. The clinic is very organized and clean. My Nurse Practitioner Owoyele, was so patient with me as I had so many questions. She answered all my concerns was very direct and made me feel comfortable. I visited Walk In GYN Astoria on 9/11/2020. These ladies are fantastic, because they know not only how to make you feel welcome, but also safe, in the midst of these uncertain times. They were incredibly thorough during my annual visit, and they were pleased to answer every single question I had! I am confident in saying that I am in very good, capable hands when I visit this establishment, and I love that each and every one of them were genuinely kind and encouraging. Lastly, they have extensive operation hours, including weekends, and setting up a visit is super easy - you can either walk right in, or you can make an appointment ahead of time, but no matter what you do, they will make sure they go above and beyond to meet your needs! I highly recommend Astoria’s Walk In GYN. :)

I had such a positive experience at this clinic and I am so glad I discovered this. I was in and out of the office within 2 hours. The staff was so professional. Everything was very efficient & organized from checking in, registering and even requesting records post-visit to send to my OBGYN the following week. The NP who saw me was very knowledgeable and took the time to discuss my results. I was so impressed by the quality care from everyone I encountered. I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking urgent care or just looking to book an appointment.

Hands-down the best place ever. The entire facility is up-to-date, clean, and very inviting without feeling overly sterile and hospital like. The front desk girls were the nicest I’ve ever met!!! (And I’m sure we’ve all experienced the rude Receptionist that just seems to set the tone for the rest of the visit) I’ve never had too long of a wait, except for one time but being covid times, and it being a walk in clinic that’s nothing I’ll complain about. My procedure (IUD) went well and the dr. Performing it as well as the doctor assisting were both absolutely amazing. I was a little nervous going in but they eased my nerves and I understood what was happening the entire time. they kept me very calm, and I felt extremely safe. I highly recommend this place for whatever your needs are!

I cannot say enough good things about this office. The front desk staff is always so pleasant and helpful. Olu is an absolute angel! It is so comforting that each and every time I visit she always remembers exactly where we left off last visit. She is so compassionate and always makes sure I feel heard, my questions are answered and that I’m not crazy for the million silly questions I may ask, over and over. She has been such a key part of my care and makes me feel like I’m not just another patient. I’m sad that I won’t have to see her again for another 8 months! I cannot recommend walk in GYN enough!

They are really amazing, but sadly they are short staffed and it’s not a guarantee you will get the provider you requested. They should handle it differently when making appointments and say that they cannot promise and it would be the best to call before the appointment to confirm the specific doctor is there rather than promising and wasting our time. I will of course be back but please improve custumer service. It’s more the advice than a complaint since I do understand what are you going through as a business at this hard times. ❤️

I have been seen quickly every time. Works at the last minute if there is no other options. Some of the PA’s have poor bedside manner and do not follow up on the portal. The best you will get from this place are generic automated messages— regardless of the situation, so if you are looking for “compassionate” and individualized care, this is not the place for you.

I am so incredibly happy I found this place and it was able to accept my Medicaid. I was hesitant as I usually make appointments for doctors but even though I walked in to a semi-full waiting room, it wasn't more than 35 minutes before I was seen. Not only that but the front desk staff, the doctor (Tara), the one who did my sonogram, and even the lady who took my blood were all so incredibly nice and understanding. I have a lot of issues going on and I felt safe and in the right hands while being here.

If you're a person like me who is scared of medical visits of any kind, gyn visits being the scariest for me, this clinic allowed me to face my fears and leave happy and relieved. The clinic environment is clean, soothing, friendly and compassionate. They have a great team! Best gyn experience I ever had. My experience with other clinics since my teens always involved fear, insensitivity and trauma. I came in with those expectations and I was proven wrong tenfold. Gyn Care is wonderful! Already telling my lady friends and mom about it. With women's care having such a stigma, it's no wonder us women have awkward experiences learning how our bodies work and what we should do to take care of it. First visit here was good. It's been a while since I had an annual and wanted an appointment quick. This place was easy to make an appointment with asap. I didn't have to wait too long and the NP was super nice and made me feel comfortable (I was a bit nervous since I hadn't had an annual in a few years). As I was leaving there was quite a bit of people waiting to be seen accumulating in wait room. Overall though my first experience here was good.

all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I decided to make this practice my primary doctor... if your walking in, beware they get extremely busy, I walked in at 2:45pm and didn't get seen until 4:45pm; so it's best if you make an appointment if possible.

I was impressed by this facility its cute and organized. The doctor Stephanie was very nice. Although I made an appointment I still had wait 20 mins to be checked in tho it was the weekend so of course they gonna be busy, there was so many walk ins so the receptionist had to collect their information she was friendly and calm tho I'll give her that. Also they said don't bring anyone with you to your visit i saw a couple people bring their family members which made the waiting area very crowded.... Anyway I would recommend this clinic to any women who doesn't know where to go for a check up just come here.

This is probably the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had. No exaggeration. Everyone I had to deal with was absolutely peasant made me feel so calm and welcomed. I’m one of those people who get major anxiety just having to go see a dr. I feel so happy with every experience I had here. Answered every question (and trust me I was that patient who brought a list and they let me read the whole list without interrupting or making me feel like it’s all in my head.) overall I was absolutely recommend everyone here.

So I was in need of seeing an OB/GYN urgently and my regular doctor is hardly ever available. When I heard about this place I scheduled an appointment right away even though they allow walk ins. The place wasn’t busy at all when I walked in and they took me in right away. I was pretty satisfied with the doctors they made me feel comfortable and gave me advice on taking better care of myself. This is the go to place!! Highly recommend it.

There are pros and cons. They are great because it’s a walk in facility. The rns, ma, np and drs and all very nice and informative. They take the time to explain. The first time I went in, about 2 months ago, they were enforcing the covid provisions very strictly. You couldn’t come in with anyone else. You had to wear a mask. Not allowed to have a full waiting room. I went in yesterday and the place was packed. I saw 3 people not wearing a mask fully and there were kids and spouses there. Plus the wait was about 2 hrs. The other thing is they are so bad with answering phones and emails. And don’t follow up. Then I got a call and called back and actually went in since I was waiting for a test result and they had no idea who called and why. That’s not too professional.

The Astoria facility is quite small but very well kept. However when I visited the representative there told me they didn't accept MetroPlus in Astoria, only in Manhatta, which a Walkin GYN Care support staff failed to mention. Before going, I'd highly request to find out all info.

I like that this facility caters to their patients needs. When you first walk in there is soothing music playing (similar to what you'd hear at a spa). In the bathrooms, you'll find pads, condoms, lotion etc. The facility itself is clean and illuminated. The staff were attentive and caring. My doctor did a great job at explaining what was going on while using simple terminology for me to easily understand. I had a pleasant visit and I will be returning when needed. Ps. Wait time was short. I was in and out (that's a plus).

I love this clinic! The staff is very friendly, very helpful, and the facility is kept very clean which makes it worth the wait for me. Be aware, the wait does get quite long the later in the day you get there and you may spend about 2 hours (maybe longer depending on the time of day) there, however, the care provided outweighs the wait time for me

Appointment at 11 am, out by 11:50 am. Some scheduling is difficult for certain procedures but I always found the front desk and phone attendants to be polite and courteous. Dr. Li was really wonderful and did a great job counseling me about my medical concerns and concerns he considered for me, whether I agreed with them or not. I always think it is important to have a clinician that counsels about all the options, not only the ones you think you know you want when you go in the room. I needed some time to recover from a procedure and I did not feel rushed at all. I recommend this clinic to all my friends in the area.

Went there for my annual, the nurse practitioner who did my PAP was very gentle couldn’t even feel a thing. Was over before I even knew it. Ultra sound specialist was also super nice. When I came in for my appointment, I was greeted immediately. Everything was very clear and organized. I then met MA Sultana and she was great! She explained everything and always told me what was happening. I was seen by NP Olu - and she was excellent! She made me feel very comfortable and explained everything along the way that I never even knew I was having a Gyn exam. I also needed an ultrasound and Aamna was great as well! She was very gentle, professional, and explained every step of the way. I highly recommend walk in gyn. They take COVID precautions - I saw someone routinely sanitizing etc. The office itself is very organized and they have a great flow to make things easy as a patient. This place is awesome! I am from NC but I was in NYC and needed to make an appointment with a gynecologist. Normally, it can take days, even weeks, to make an appointment with a gynecologist/doctor's office. When I heard about the Walk In GYN Care in Astoria, I called immediately. The front office staff (Leslie, Yaqueline) were so great to answer all of my questions. They gave me the option to make an appointment or to come at my convenience as a walk -in. Even as a walk- in on a Saturday morning, I only waited for about 45-1 hour and there were at least 9 women in front of me. Had I made an appointment, it would have gone much quicker because the staff are very efficient. I saw Dr. Tara (PA), and she was excellent! She made me feel right at home. She worked with me in regards to my circumstances and was extremely reassuring. The crew are very thorough. It certainly did NOT feel like an urgent care where you often feel you are being overcharged and not treated like a regular patient. If NY wasn't so far from NC, I would come back to this office for all of my further OBGYN needs. :) This place is EXCELLENT.

Definitely a 5 star experience. Not having a GYN for many years & needing a check up I decided to try them out. Being a new patient usually comes with a long wait for an appointment. I was able to go the day after I called. The staff & Christina were great. Made you feel at ease & very thorough. I was able to do my ultrasound right there. No referral & immediate results. Great staff but the wait is too long. I had a 1:45 pm appointment and showed up about 30 mins early to make sure that I had time to fill in paperwork. I was finally seen at around 3:45 pm (2 hours late) and walked out at 4:20 pm. The issue is that it is cold and because of COVID, you literally have to stand outside. Take a book, wear warm clothes and ask for a female doctor at the front desk. I assumed I would be seen by a female doc but they told me a male doctor’s name after I got ready in the examination room. I had to wait in the gown for a female doc. Apart from the wait, everything else was great. I got a PA who was nice and genuine.

Every provider I worked with from MD, PA, & NP were all brilliant, empathetic, and knowledgeable. If a patient had any additional questions or concerns, the provider always addressed them with excellent bedside manner. Additionally, the rest of the staff including the secretary, medical aides, & sono tech were all friendly and welcoming as well (to not just me but everyone). As a student who shadowed I got to take a look at how things work from the other side of walk in office. The clinic is fast paced & in that setting I believe this office runs efficiently, is organized and is spotless. They take the time to address all your issues while having it completed in a timely matter. I believe if any patient is having any concerns in regard to their gyn health or even a check up this is the place to go. This is an awesome office! :)

Can't say anything but nice about my visit! From the minute I walk in till the 20-30min later when I was all done and ready to go! No waiting in line for hours and I had all the test taken including full blood work. Everyone who works there were nice and very professional. It took 3 days to get a hold of someone to get things cleared up, just to find out that they could not help me. What a waste of my time and money! I only wish I could get those two hours of my life back.. Update: The issue was fixed in a timely manner, and they were able to help me out! As a rising junior in college, I was amazed by the medical staff at Walk In GYN as they taught me so many terms and gave me new information to hold onto. I have gained immense knowledge over the past four weeks. This office is usually very busy but the amazing providers tend to every patient with sincerity and amazing bed-side manner. This office has incredible NP's, PAs, MD, and a DO. They retain accessible and affordable resources and have clean examining rooms. This internship was very well organized, as well as this office in regards to its conduct. I was able to clean and stock rooms, test pregnancy in urine, shadow, and help with filing/scanning papers. This was definitely a memorable internship as I will never forget the inspirational providers such as Dr. Fadel & Dr. Tonsor, along with Stephanie, Monica, Chelsia, Emily, and Tara Sung. They have all, in their own ways, influenced my path in my academic career and my perspective on the medical field greatly. This gyn center is amazing! I went there because it's in front of my building and I had to do a Pap smear and as no appointment is needed, it was really convenient for me. I went there, registered (they take most of insurances) and waited less than 5 minutes before the dr Navarro called me. She has been really great, being nice and listening to my issues, and very gentle during the Pap smear! I was out of the center in less than 45min and got my results in less than a week! I was in dr Navarro's office an hour after her call, she has received me right away and took the time to explain me the results (English isn't my first language). Once again, she was really great. Then I did a colposcopy few days after with the dr McBride, another professional and attentive woman. Before the intervention, she explain me what she was about to do and how I would feel. She has been fast during the colposcopy, I couldn't feel anything! And same, I was out in 27 minutes exactly! They're great! Go!

I walked-in around 12:45pm on a Saturday and got seen around 1:40pm so not a bad wait especially considering it was a Saturday afternoon. Check-in was easy, quick. Front desk staff was professional and courteous. Went inn for annual wellness exam and would go back.

I've reviewed for regular, routine gyn care before, but this is a new experience for me with prenatal care. Again, this facility and staff is the best and I truly would be lost without them. Everyone is kind, patient, supportive, and listens/answers all questions with respect to the patient. From the front desk to the doctors, I am nothing but impressed with this facility. My only wish is that they did full OB care so I could continue this entire 9 month journey with them, I fear going to anyone else! Thank you, everyone at Walk in Gyn Care, for all you do for the community.

I’ve been coming to this location for years and have been to their Manhattan location many times as well. I’ve only had positive experiences with their staff, everyone from front desk to nurse tech to providers have been friendly, warm, and extremely professional. Can’t speak to folks who walk in as I’ve always had an appointment but the wait times have gotten better, which I really appreciate.

Walk In GYN Care Rocks!! The staff and doctors are very caring. The office is nice and clean, well organize. I went to the office in Astoria, Queens. I was seen by Tara Halpern, A P A! She was very pleasant, awesome and caring! I had to hug her! If you don't have a doctor or don't want to wait, to see a doctor I highly recommend Walk In GYN for your GYN Care!! They don't play with their patient's care❤
