The staff at Ochsner Health Center in Kenner are one of the top, most awesome, go above and beyond, to assist me, make sure that I am comfortable and that I am well taken care of. They are genuinely concerned about my health and well-being and they are very very attentive and positive about my recovery. They are friendly and you could tell that they like their job it's not just a job they do it to really help people. On top of all that.. the food here that they serve you is very good also it's flavorful and healthy and good for you. I've had to give up salt and I have enjoyed their food without salt because it has flavor that's a plus! If anyone ever has to choose a health center don't pass up the opportunity to choose Ochsner Health Center in Kenner you won't be disappointed.

The doctors are wonderful and most of the nurses are. Some don't want to be there and it shows. Was put in a room once that had blood drops, but it was handled immediately. Wait times are short and the receptionists are so nice! Security is super rude. Lets say they are welcoming where it counts!

Dr Mark Gonzalez in Cardio Vascular is excellent. He was very thourough and even did a little research on my issue and called me later in the day with a recommendation. My wait time was minimum. Everyone was pleasant and professional. Everything from parking to visiting the dr was a great experience. I am so glad I found Dr Gonzalez. I highly recommend him.

The staff was accommodating and friendly. The hospital was hard to navigate and the parking lot was extremely dark. Outdoor lighting is desperately needed if you arrive early in the morning or late at night.

Recently I gave birth to a baby boy. My Drs. Name is Dr. Farge, I 100% recommend her for bringing in your precious baby into this world. This is my first child so I was very nervous about everything and very unsure of how things would go. Even in the midst of me being scared she always found a way to be a calming voice for me. If I ever have another kid I will definitely be going back to her. She is wonderful!

I especially love the portal because I get my test information almost immediately and communicating with doctors is very user friendly. Nurse Suzanne was unbelievable. Extremely pleasant. Made me feel very comfortable from the beginning. She was professional when she had to be but relaxed and down to earth when she could. It was more of the same with Dr. Susan Girardo. Extremely professional, thorough and informative while the examination was going on. After the exam, she indulged my sophomoric questions with grace and patience. She was even able to explain the answer in a way I could understand. I have already gave their information to two of my co-workers who said they were interested in setting an appointment. Will definitely go back if the need arises.

Staff was very attentive and quick to address my concerns. Mary Katherine, the technologist that performed my MRI, was very knowledgeable and put me at ease. She took the time to contact me while I was in the waiting room to let me know there was a short delay but she would be with me promptly. I was very impressed! It was easy to get a handicap parking spot. Used my MyOchsner app to check in.. The staff is friendly, caring and professional. I had received a vaccine and the person administering the shot was gentle and I didn't even feel it. We were asked to wait 15 min and she set a timer and let us know when we could go. The facility is very nice. It's clean and we'll kept up. There's even a PJ's and a set up in the lobby with a toaster and microwave on it to use. I trust Oschner and am thankful to be in their care.

I recently had a heart procedure involving replacement of a valve done at Ochsners. I have nothing but good things to say about the care, expertise,friendliness, professionalism, and downright quality care I received while in Ochsners’ facility. The er was pretty efficient although we were in the er for 14 hrs before being able to get admitted and into a personal room do to there being no space to intake new patients until some were released. Nursing staff was absolutely awesome. The lab tech that handled the blood work and the Dr that only saw us for 5 mins not so much.

Since I was a teenager this place has always had the cleanest offices, most caring and hard working doctors, kindest staff, and most importantly the best service for medical. Easy and quick check in with very friendly staff. Waiting time in waiting area was about 10 minutes and less than that once in the examining room. The Doctor was very thorough and wasn't rushed with me. Took her time and answered questions and gave me such a great starting point checking my blood work for things I never even considered. Started me on some great health interventions and preventive ideas. I did not feel like a number here rushed in and out but like someone really cared about my health and is helping me. Can I tell you how much I appreciate the Drs at Ochsner? They are very inquisitive and thorough in their check ups. They patiently listen to you and respond to your concerns & look for ways to assist you that don’t always include Rx ! Some offices I’ve been in have had a Rx pad in their hand and before you finish talking have it filled out - drugs are not always needed!!! I appreciate the care the Drs and staff give at Ochsner!

All of the doctors and nurses are so kind patient and cooperative with me each time I visit ochsner hospital. And then there's time to go to the pharmacy. That's where the nightmare begins. Some of the people that work in in the pharmacy are so impatient, so rude, and so unfeeling it makes me dread going in there. when I call ochsner's pharmacy I feel like I've bothered someone. And when I visit ochsner's pharmacy I feel like a bother. I am just going to transfer all of my medications to Walmart or Sam's and never ever step foot in ochsner's pharmacy again.

I have gone to Ochsner all my life and they have never disappointed me. I received a text from them on Sunday before the vaccine was available to make my appointment online or call the number given. I made my appointment for the following Thursday and booked my second appointment at the same time. I used Ochsner Kenner Regional. Upon arriving everything was set up in a large area where we could all be spaced out, the line moved quickly and the longest wait I had was the 15 minutes they asked me to stay after the shot to make sure I had no reaction. Their employees were extremely friendly and helpful, answered everyone’s questions.

I had a virtual health appointment with my GI doctor, Dr. Fitton, it was amazing! I live 1 hour and 30 minutes from the clinic and I did not have to leave home for an easy follow up appointment to receive test results and discuss what steps we need to take for my health care. I feel this option should always be available if there is no sickness or pain involved with a patient. There is also less exposure to sickness such as flu, virus, and other air borne diseases. The appointment started on time lasted about no greater than 15 minutes, I was able to still look at him and ask my questions and get direct answers. He is amazing and it was never awkward. I am looking forward to having more appointments with other health care providers this way it so helpful because I didn’t have to leave work to go to the appointment either.

My visit with the my neurologist M Dyess DO was great. He is a calm and caring physician. He listens and ask questions to figure out a plan of care. I didn’t feel like he was rushing or treating me as a number. I felt like he cared on my first visit and he reassured me that he would take his time and figure out my problem with my ear ringing. I just wish I had found him sooner and after my sinus surgery. My pcp and ent physician has been awesome too from Westbank campus.I’m glad I have a wonderful and caring neurologist.

As I shared via texting, my overall experience was beautiful! The fact that my very own physician Dr. Mirza Baig actually greeted me in from the waiting room was a nice touch! It shows the utmost care that he has for his patients! He did the weighing himself! The things that the nurse usually does before seeing him! My waiting time in waiting room to be seen was probably less than 10 minutes!Safety protocol of covid 19 measurements was taken at high priority! The facility was very well kept and clean. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. You might need to upgrade the communications in the MRI room. I could hardly understand anything that the tech was telling me during the test. Maybe new headphones or something. It's not the personnel's fault. Faulty/inferior equipment I blame. Dr Maluccio and her staff went above and beyond for me.

The nurses and staff were very kind and efficient with getting everyone situated for their vaccinations. However, the MyOchsner app may need to be updated. I went on Sunday (3/28/21) and checked in via the app. The app said to wait in the car and I would be sent a text when it was my turn to come in. After waiting for 30 minutes I decided to just walk in because I didn't want to lose my appointment. When I inquired about everything I was told that they don't send out texts on Sunday. I was still able to get my shot, but I thought I should mention this in case it happened to someone else.

I came to Ocshner Hospital in Kenner yesterday on February 2, at 10:30 AM, for my second Covid vaccine and found the parking lot filled with cars. I made my way quickly through getting my temperature and checking in. The clinic was filled with patients sitting down as well as standing in line. I walked back to the long line and was told many patients couldn’t get their vaccine the day before and returned today. I only waited about 40 minutes and received my shot professionally and with care. I was so thankful to receive my second vaccine and was so glad to see the waiting room patients received their vaccines. By the time I left, there were very few people still in line. The nurses and healthcare workers did and excellent job moving many seniors through a busy morning with great care and patience.

The check in process was a joke. First text was to go to MOB suite 210. Then I was instructed to suite 210 on 7th floor????? Several useless text messages to remind me if the appointment. I did go to suite 210, and was sent back downstairs. There was a long line which did move quickly. The shot was given and I was instructed to wait 15 mins. 3 days later my husband reported for his booster shot. Same location, but this time he made the appointment for the pharmacy. When he reported to pharmacy, he was directed to lobby. Lobby sent him back to pharmacy. He got his shot but was not told to wait. I'm disappointed in Ochsner lack of professionalism. Someone needs to step up and get these things correct.

Once I finally got called to the back it to my doctor an hour before she can to see me. I literally had to get redressed and ask the nurse if I was forgotten about, which acknowledged that they did. I called ahead of time and requested a wheelchair. After arriving, I called the phone number for my wheelchair . No one ever answered the number and I tried for at least 15 minutes to get an answer but no luck. Fortunately someone saw me and asked me what I needed. Long story short, it took me 30 minutes to finally get a wheelchair. After seeing the doctor, I had to wait 30 minutes in his office to get picked up and taken to my car. Not a pleasant experience. Very unorganized.

My husband was there Xmas Eve 2020 had 3 blockages in heart...Dr.N'Dandou has been his Dr. for about 4yrs.he's a wonderful cardiologist... he's caring ...n make sure his patients know exactly what is going... My husband did not have typical signs of blockages... It did not show on EKG or other procedures that may be used to find blockages at first during testing... Dr. N'Dandou listened to him and just didn't pass it off as being something else not to worry has most Drs. usually do !!! He listened to my husband and began to run more testing to he found an answer to my husband's symptoms..he felt his patient knows his body more than he did ... My husband couldn't do the stress test on the treadmill so he rescheduled him to do the induced stress test....that's showed something was wrong... Within that week he did an angiogram and found two blockages... Any other doctor would have just passed it off as over worked ...within a year r 2 he started with the same symptoms ...the two stents were blocked n when Dr N'Dandou when back in this time 3 stents..I don't think my husband would be here with me today if Dr N'Danou passed it as just tired from being overworked... Because it wasn't typical signs for blockages... So Dr N'Dandou I my husband n I ...THANK YOU very much and appreciate everything you do for your patience....I THANK the good Lord for putting him in our lives at that moment when we needed such a special cardiologist !!! All I have to say about Ochsner and the people working there is best said by Tony the tiger. They are grrreat. I wish I could remember the names of everyone that took care of me, because they helped me so much when I was feeling so bad. It was like spending time with my friends. No, family would be a better way of putting it. Everyone was so easy to talk to, and I even picked up some good recipes to try out. To tell you the truth, I really want to thank Frank Lauland. His heart is so special, and it's people like him that makes Ochsner the best. I also want to thank Heather Bretz. I think she was one of the first to greet me when I got to the 4th floor. She was so sweet, and I guess she felt my pain, because when she was leaving the room, she stopped and turned around and said, she was going to pray for me. I really needed that. Back to Frank. Dr. Aguillard is probably the best primary care physician I've ever had. She is a wonderfully attentive listener, empathetic, responds quickly, and is extremely reliable. Her nurses are also amazing, and nobody is patronizing or dismissive. They demonstrate how a medical office should be for patients and I plan to stick around with them for a long time. Believe me, after going through a few PCPs, I can honestly say that Dr. Aguillard, as well as Dr. Farge OB/Gyn, restored my trust in doctors. They don't judge, or try to force you to do something if you're not ready, and take the time you need to make sure you're okay before leaving the office. I have never felt rushed or like my concerns were less than valid. Dr. Aguillard also takes the time to understand why I have concerns. That, I think, makes the biggest difference. Dr. Farge actually hears you and respects what you want. She works with you to find the best way for you personally and doesn't use antiquated logic to not do something you ask for. Instead, she fully respects your autonomy and talks to you, like doctors should, to guide you through the honest reality so you can make a truly informed decision. I have never felt comfortable at the doctor's office before these two. Now, I actually want to keep my appointments. This, as someone who used to avoid the doctor like the plague, should mean something to someone.

I had a surgical procedure done by Dr. Tushman at Ochsner in Kenner. When I checked in for surgery I was not sure what to expect since this was my first time under general anesthesia. My surgery was scheduled for 7 and I was taken into the operating room around 6:45. I was well treated by all the nurses . I stayed in the recovery room for some time. I wasn’t in big hurry because I was well cared for by Dennis and Tracy while my medical condition was getting under control and they really made my family at home. I was blessed to have the one on one care that was given to me in the recovery room. Dennis was the best caregiver anyone could have. If anyone is planning to have surgery at Ochsner in Kenner you will be treated with care before and after surgery by the best team. Rest assured Dennis and Tracy will take care of your needs and your family. Dr. Tushman who was my surgeon was with me throughout my stay in recovery and once I got into my room checking up on me many times making sure I was doing fine. I also have to mention all the nurses who cared for me on the fifth floor were the best team, especially Danielle, she had to come about every 45 -55 minutes throughout the night to care for me as Dr. Tushman instructed and had a great attitude throughout. I’m grateful of the good experience that I had at Ochsner in Kenner in a stressful time of my life. I give Ochsner in Kenner a 5 because they earned it.
