Absolutely loved the experience. The receptionist, the nurse and the doctor were all amazing and very welcoming! The lobby had great space for my children to pace, run, be themselves and interesting places for them to sit. This was very necessary as we drove over an hour to be seen here. I highly recommend Brittani Wild for pediatric neurology.

Dr. Brown and her nurse are the best around. Not only can you tell they really care about their patients but they also care about their families. Since my son has been going there he’s received the best care. He was asking if he could still see her as a patient when he’s in college and beyond. We absolutely love her.

Originally I was 100% set on ginive a 1 star because I had about the worst patient experience today trying to get my 2 kids seen. Rude staff checking in offering little to no help while they prioritized their personal conversations. To staff at the window tell me how packed they are and how I might want to go "get seen somewhere else". Then witnessing the same staff member fitting in a mother with a child with no problem for her, but no room for my kid. BUT I only say all of that to truly highlight and give deserved credit to Dr. JACKSON. as soon as we saw her, I communicated my problems and with out hesitation she took care of everything. Fit both my kids in (one had an appointment, one got sick this morning) and took great care of them. I am truly happy to see there are still really good people still working in this field who still care about their patients. She totally improved the outlook for the rest of our day with her generous and kind attitude. Thank you Dr Jackson

Dr. Lotterman was great! He explained and listened to everything. My teen daughter was nervous but he knew how to get around that. He made her feel comfortable by actually talking to her. He made sure she was heard as well as listening to my concerns.

We were seen quickly which was awesome because we live over an hour away from the clinic. Her Doctor was extremely nice, helpful, thorough and informative. Dr. Moreau has been our pediatrician since the birth of our first born. She got to meet the newest addition recently. I appreciated the fact that not only did we discuss our newborn, but she provided us with great tips on sibling bonding and reminders on how important our individual relationship as parents are with our first born and to make sure that doesn't get lost in the newborn shuffle. She and most everyone we interact with create an safe environment to ask questions and help us feel confident as parents. We appreciate it all so very much!

I have always heard great things about Ochsner and we have experienced that same greatness! Everyone on the hospital staff have been so nice, friendly, and accommodating! The resident doctors really listen and are trying to help my son get better. We did have an issue with a GI doctor at an Ochsner clinic, but thankfully she and her team signed off from his care on Day 2 of our hospital stay. The hospital staff have more than made up for our bad experience with the clinic doctor!

Our visit was awesome. The clinic was very clean and visit were scheduled so that tje waiting area was not overly crowded. We were greeted as we walked off the elevator. The staff was kind and caring and interacted with my daughter as a person not a chart or medical record's I.d. number. The healthcare provider took time to talk to her to her to make sure she was comfortable before beginning. We will definitely continue care at this clinic! Thanks for being so kind and welcoming!

The staff of the Pediatric Orthopedic department on Jefferson Highway have been amazing with treating and managing my 5 year old daughter after she broke her arm. They accomdated us every step of the way. From the nurses, surgeon (Dr. Plost), technicians, coordinators, Child Life specialists, and casting department, our experience has been wonderful and as comfortable as possible for such a scary situation for a 5 year old. I'm so very thankful for all they have done for my daughter and my family.

Dr. Brown is my absolute favorite doctor for my daughter. She is so awesome with the kids. The other associate who does some of the eye tests and the other staff are also awesome. They always make my daughter feel comfortable. The facility is great. The front check in had all of my information and my check in only took a couple of minutes.

Dr. Lewis in pediatric Orthopedics was absolutely wonderful and very thorough. Technician John Delose was also amazing while putting on my daughter’s cast. As we were leaving, she even commented that he was really nice and she liked him. Ochsner Children's has always created a very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for me and my daughter. Dr. Kantrow is AMAZING! He has been the pediatrician for all 4 of my kids (the eldest will be 16 in December this year and the youngest was a preemie whom just turned 1 in January). I absolutely love the care and concern that is given at every single visit! Even when I've had to schedule appointments on the spot and had to see other doctors, they ALWAYS make sure I leave out with a clear heart and mind that my child/children will be just fine! I love Ochsner for Kids and the entire Ochsner family (because they take care of my mother as well)

We have been with Dr. Sanderson since my son was born 6 years ago. He is so amazing! My kids love him. You just know he loves all of his patients. We have seen other doctors in this clinic when ours wasn't available and they all have a caring spirit and love for children. My daughter temporarily lost her sight while getting ready for school. We rushed to West Jefferson where my concerns were dismissed, and I had to insist on a CT Scan. I was told to expect a call in two days for her to be scheduled to see an Ophthalmologist whose first availability is some time in May. I was not pleased and left the hospital with no answers. Once home, I called Ochsner to get a second opinion. The agent who took my call was empathetic and showed genuine concern for my state of mind and my daughter’s health. Within an hour, I was scheduled for a same day appointment to see Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown and the staff were perfect! Svenya welcomed us and maintained a great energy and level of concern for my daughter. Dr. Brown is probably the best doctor we've had ever! She was engaging, personable and relatable. She answered all of my questions and provided guidance that allowed me to leave the office with peace. All I wanted was to be given some idea as to what happened to my daughter. West Jeff wouldn't give me that. Our visit with Dr. Brown was the complete opposite, and I am so glad that I decided to call.

This was our first time at this facility and I was very please. The staff from check-in to the back office were great. Dr. Del Torro was excellent and helped me understand about my daughters initial problem and I felt so much better. The facility was very cleaned and I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We could not have been more pleased with our orthopedic Anna Strahan, NP and her nurse. They were thorough and patient. They took the time to answer all of our questions, we left our appointment feeling comfortable with our treatment plan and confident our daughter was in great hands. We are from Mississippi and chose Ochsner's Children's after lots of research, we definitely made the right decision bringing her there.

I am an adult genetics patient. The facility was reasonably easy to access and had adequate accessible parking. The nurses and medical assistants were patient and explained the appointment process to me well. The genetic counselor was a great listener, and Dr. Niyazov diagnosed a condition I’ve been living with and seeking help for over the last 28 years in less than half an hour. I barely had to wait in the exam room. A great team of medical professionals.

We had a virtual visit. The connection was spotty, so the doctor hung up and called us back. Not too long after, my phone died. I tried to call back. The doctor called me back again. All of the MDs and providers we have seen (for my Daughter and my Husband) at Oschner’s have been wonderful (Dr. Allain, Dr. Mironovici, Dr. Haber and L. Daigle, NP). They sat us down and explained everything and how they were going to treat them both and made it very easy to understand. It was wonderful. Definitely would recommend them to anyone seeking a specialist for their children).

We will no longer be using Ochsner because we are moving out of state. As a whole, we were pretty satisfied with all of her specialist except for one doctor. Also, my daughter was in the hospital for a month in August of 2020 and the staff on the pediatric floor left a lot to be desired. They were rough, mean, and negligent. I told them everyday that my daughter can’t be left flat on her back that long, it will create a pressure sore and they kept ignoring me until I noticed the pressure sore and made a big scene. Then, all of a sudden they listened. These are trained medical staff and this should have never happened. Today is May 13 and we are still fighting that same pressure sore thanks to your hospital staff. Sorry, you did ask.

Family member there for surgery last week of July. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, but COVID is raging here and even some nurses were not wearing masks!!!! They had them hanging down or below their nose. They need to have someone walk around and write these people up or fine them or something to get them on board.

We realized that I had accidentally made the appointment for the following Monday. My daughter had a broken arm and needed to be seen that day. Ochsner Children's is AWESOME!!! This is only our second time there and my son and I love it. He has to visit the hospital every 8 weeks for treatment and this is the first time he's actually reminded me about it. He was a patient at another area hospital, and being that "children" are their specialty, it was the worst experience ever. We are thankful to our doctor for moving, and thankful for one of his new nurses, (all of them really), but especially nurse Michelle, who sang and danced the happy birthday song to him. My daughter was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma 8 days after her 15th birthday in 2016 and was stage IIIB when it was discovered. She was referred to Ochsner’s pediatric hematology/oncology department immediately and Dr. Matthew Fletcher was her primary physician. He and the nurses as well as the other doctors in their group is amazing. They listen to our concerns with understanding, patience and compassion. They are like family to us and the friendships we have created with the staff as well as other patients will be lifelong. I couldn’t ask for better care for my daughter and I can’t say enough good things about Ochsner. We are so grateful to have had the best medical care and treatment offered to my child. Although I used the check-in computer at Ochsner Childrens Center, the receptionist still greeted me and asked if I needed any help even though she was helping someone else at the time. The nurses were very friendly and sociable. There was a resident working with Dr. Conravey. She was very kind and thorough with her questions. Dr. Conravey came in to see up for our first visit with her. She asked questions again but didn't repeat many because she reviewed the notes from the resident and addressed them throughout the visit. She had great suggestions on a treatment plan. Overall, a great visit.

My daughter broke her arm and had to have it reset. I brought her to Ochsner peds ER @ main campus. It was a traumatic experience, since she had never broken a bone before. The nurses and doctors jumped in and made this experience so comfortable for us. They ALL acted so quickly and professionally still treating my daughter as if she was the only patient in the ER that day. The doctor explained every step to me throughly and spoke to my daughter in a manner she could understand. Her nurse Lisa was truly amazing. She barely left my daughters side reassuring her that she would be in good hands. My daughter still tells everyone about Ms. Lisa in the ER. We love our providers at ochsner pediatrics. We have seen different pediatricians and NPs when our primary pediatrician is not available. We have had positive experiences with all of them. We have also never had to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen. The receptionists are also always helpful and efficient.

Our 4month old baby boy Kal, was diagnosed with Cor Triatrium, a very rare heart defect. For his surgery, our cardiologist at Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, highly recommended Dr. Peeler and his team at Ochsner in New Orleans. No words can express how thankful we are to them for saving our baby’s life!!! They were very professional, knowledgeable, patient, organized , sweet and very helpful. The surgery was scheduled within a month. Everything was on time during the process and every 30/45 minutes Missy would inform us how the surgery was going. It ended up being more complicated than expected but Dr. Peeler and his team were able to perform as planned and fix our baby’s heart. Our son was able to recover very quickly under the close supervision of the nurses in the Ochsner PICU. Special thanks to nurse Stephanie for outstanding service and care! Huge THANK YOU to Dr. Peeler , Dr. Kleinmahon, Missy Pecoraro, Stephanie Fried, Kristen Talbot and the entire staff involved with making this surgery successful.
