This is a very personable doctor who keeps it real. Very relatable and explains diagnosis and procedures in a very easy to understand way. Dr. Washburn’s vibes are very stressless and puts the patient and family at ease. The WFA staff is great as well. Very patient and thorough. They, too, are courteous and explain patient responsibilities, procedure expectations, and finances very well. I very much appreciated that they were very prompt when completing my FMLA forms! Also, the remodeling in the office looks nice.

**updated review** I felt compelled to update my review! After I posted about my orthotics taking forever to arrive, I got a phone call from one of the staff members apologizing that they had looked into my complaint and found my insoles. Unfortunately they had been misplaced and that was the reason I hadn’t received them. They were SO apologetic and rectified the situation right away. To me that is great customer service. I understand mistakes happen and I truly feel it was an honest mistake. I’m very happy with my insoles- they offer great support for my feet and I can tell they keep my foot aligned how it should be. I will definitely be back to this office as I feel they really do care about their patients! Original review- I really would like to like this place. My initial visit went well and the staff was friendly and the doctor explained to me what was going on with my feet so I ordered some custom orthotic insoles. The only reason I’m disappointed is I’m out over $200 (my insurance didn’t cover them) and was told it would be about 6 weeks or so till they come in and I pay the remainder. I had my appointment in JUNE. Its now November. I’m frustrated I’ve called multiple times and they keep saying they will call when they come in but how long is reasonable to wait? I would have never ordered them if I knew they would take this long. 4 months of foot pain waiting on insoles is ridiculous. Hopefully when I come back to update my review it will be more positive, but at this point I’m not so sure!

I woke up talking with God on Tuesday about how I need to get an appointment for my foot, today! The young lady that answered the phone was extremely nice. Then to meet her in person, she was most delightful. When I called —I never, I mean never, expected to get in —in the month of September, but I did 😆 for the very next day 😱 WHAT?? Yes, I will take it, bec my first option conflicted with work. God answers prayers!! The second young lady I met was very welcoming, and she said my last name perfectly. As for Dr Washburn, wonderful “chair-side” manner! He answered all my questions and concerns (I believe) very honestly. He didn’t try to talk me into anything but together we discussed my options. I was a little nervous, but he talked me down. I recommend Dr. Washburn and his staff — matter of fact —I did, even before I left the parking lot! lol 😊 Want God do it? Ask and ye shall receive! LDH

The doctor was really personable and knowledgeable. He is well seasoned yet on top of current advancements in the field. Thankfully, unnecessary procedures and medications are not a first alternative- rather stabilization, healing and prevention. Commuted to restoring me back to a good quality of life. Can tell he is popular as his office is busy. The only problem I encountered was the long wait to be seen. From the time I arrived to the time I was seen it was almost an hour and a half. Perhaps due to checking my insurance benefits? They have a nice system of filling out paperwork ahead of time. I had that completed and in hand when I arrived. Not sure why it would take so long with a Blue plan.

The receptionist checked with my insurance provider and clearly explained to me how much I would owe before she ever set up my first appointment. At my first appointment, Dr. Washburn showed me my x-rays and thoroughly explained my condition and options. Immediately took x-rays and believed my account of my symptoms, got me fitted for custom orthotics and gave me a boot. Trans-affirming re: name and pronouns. Very cool. Would recommend them.

Dr. Washburn was the first Dr. that listened to to how my foot felt. He described what he saw and the condition. He even had a name for it. Funny I have been sent to specialist four or five time and they have told me nothing is wrong. You have a touch of arthritis. He measured me for corrections. I don't know yet if this is going to work but time will tell. I will tell you its a vast improvement having a Dr listen. Thanks

I research Dr. Washburn (Doc) well over a year ago. After breaking my ankle he put me back on the way to recovery. Awesome man/Awesome Doctor. The qualities you find in this doctor is not seen often. A family man/ a doctor/ a caring compassionate professional. All of us have to be paid for what we do . Some people complain about money but that's part of it. If you go into a doctor's office anywhere you need to realize that these men and women had to spend a lot of money to be able to treat your illnesses and most still owe that money to someone else. Let's give them a break and thank them for taking so many years out of their life to go to school/get educated/so they can help others. Dr.Washburn is a doctor that cares. I dont mind paying him when my insurance doesn' t. He always let's me know where I am with money and that's appreciated. He isn't one of those doctors that tells you what you wanna hear and never remember your name after that. He is a doctor that takes the time to explain, educate, and if needed demonstrate what your role is in the healing process. If you choose to see Dr. Washburn for your healthcare problems then I can promise you that you will not be disappointed. Awesome Doc. A educated man that care about you.

I freaked out, and kept asking a lot of questions. The doctor was very patient and understanding of why I was scared and worried. I went against his advice, and most likely I'll have to come back for a permanent removal of my toenails sooner or later. He's chill. Gave pricing of what I my options were up front. Nothing like oh hey we might charge you, but we don't know until it's been done type deal. Very strait forward. Excellent.

The only down side is do not even think of mentioning that you have tried an over the counter gel insert etc. This is a really touchy subject with him apparently and he acts offended that someone whose feet are killing them would be desperate enough to try all avenues. I do think he is a good dr but walking out of room and cutting your appointment short because of his frustration has caused me to seek out another podiatrist.
