I received an excellent care during my ER visit! The entire staff were phenomenal! They were attentive and thorough! They were absolutely amazing from the receptionist, the nurse, the tech, and the cat scan tech ! The cat scan was so assuring and comforting she listened to my concerns, checked with the radiologist, who in turn I think ,was great, because he listened to my concern and planned accordingly! The physician on duty was very thorough and skillful ! His bedside manners are great! He was able to diagnose my condition correctly and begin prompt treatment! I felt so much better in less than 24 hours! I am grateful to this amazing staff!

I was treated so well. My nurse Brandy was amazing. Thank you so much for your kindness! The broken collarbone doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would. However, my nurse,Brandy R.,made me feel strong and empowered. When we left, I knew I would be okay and could manage the pain. My nurse was just amazing. I can not thank you enough❤

The wait to get called back after checking in was very fast, as well as doctor coming in to see what was going on. Really appreciated the quickness of visit there. I visit Ascension ST. Vincent in Castleton on 9/20/22. As soon as I arrived the registration clerk check me in with no delay. I was immediately called to the triage area, and put in a room. Once I got into room only a minute later, doctor Pugh and both of his nurses were in the room with me. I really appreciate doctor Pugh and his nurses, I feel they really cared about my well being. Doctor Pugh was very friendly and thorough with me. I’m glad I went to this location for a second opinion. The service by the doctor and staff members was superb and I would highly recommend this location. Thank You doctor Pugh and staff. Your hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated. I had a very positive experience here. I felt that the doctor did her due diligence to rule out everything serious when I went in for severe chest and back pain. Everyone was also kind and considerate. It look less than 5 mins for my name to be called and less than 30 for me to see the doc. I also liked that registration was done completely through my phone which was convenient since I only had digital copies of my insurance card that I was able to locate. Also, the facility was mostly clean except for a gross spot on the floor of my room that looked like blood? 🤢 4/5 stars overall.

After trying to get a hold of my primary doctor for two days because I was in so much pain from a fall. I finally decided to go to the ER at Caselton. The staff nurses were so nice and caring. They gave me something for my severe vertigo and pain. I felt like they really wanted to help me. The doctor made me feel like he cared about what was happening to me. I had X-rays to see if I broke anything. He came back in to check on me and let me know what they found. I was seen immediately there and the care was #1. If I ever have another problem I'll go there. Thank you all for such great care.

Had an accident last night that I had to go to the ER. Went to Community North and they had a 3 hr wait. I couldn't wait that long for treatment so I went to St.Vincent Ascension emergency off of 86th and Allisonville Rd. There was only one person in the waiting room. Got checked In. Had a little bit of a wait when they took me back to the room for treatment. The doctor that treated me was real nice. He fixed me right up. Was there about a little over 2 hours.

Best ER experience I’ve ever had. Waited less than 5 minutes to be seen. The nurse was very kind. The hospital itself was very nice, new, and clean. Highly recommend.

I went to St V Castleton ER on Thursday, December 22. I only had to wait about 10 minutes and was seen by Aly - a very professional and personable RN. Aly took my vitals then within 5 minutes Dr Mulvey entered the room. After examining me, he thoroughly described his plan of treatment. He explained everything to me as he treated me. At conclusion he wrote a prescription for 2 antibiotics and reviewed my course of treatment at home - he also provided me with a written list of what I needed to do. All in all, a very positive experience. I’m about 1 week out from my visit and healing nicely. Thank you !!

I just learned about this hospital and it’s been right there for years. I guess I’ve never paid attention to it or I was just caught up with these other hospitals that tell you anything just to get you out of there and to accumulate a bill. Someone I know referred me to go there and I was very pleased in how they treated me. They got me right in despite the 3-5 hour wait that the other hospitals have. And it didn’t take them a hour and a half or so to come back into the room. I will gladly continue to recommend them to others. Carlé C.

My son is a minor so I won’t go into details but I will say he was having some urgent issues. We were seen right away! All the staff was very attentive, very friendly, and knowledgeable. The doctors bedside manners were impeccable! Our whole team made sure any and all questions we had were answered and my son was well cared for. This by far was the best experience at ANY St. Vincent I’ve ever had and my first visit here. We appreciate all you do on a daily basis, I know your job is never easy.

Fast and easy to get in. I didn't have to wait all day to see the doctor. It took maybe 10 minutes from when I was called back into a room. All the staff were friendly. Very positive experience. It took awhile to complete all the tests and get results, but that’s pretty much the norm with Emergency Departments. They had to sent me to 86th Street for an MRI, which extended the day, but again, no complaints.

Definitely recommend going to Saint Vincent neighborhood hospital. This is not the first time I’ve been. Every time I go it is super fast efficient and the folks that work there are great. Definitely beats sitting at an emergency room. Waiting for hours just to be called back to the room to be sitting and waiting even longer.

I live minutes away from the 86th street location of Ascension St. Vincent’s Hospital. And I’ve been, as well as close family, treated by their top tier ED. No complaints. However, my household has opted to travel the extra distance to receive EXEMPLARY care from the Ascension Castleton location. The staff is beyond compassionate. THEY LISTEN!!! They are people just like us. Who care about the people that they care for. Thank you all for taking good care of me ❤️

I went in for nerve pain in my leg that lasted 4 hours. Check in was easy and was taken to a room within 3 minutes of being there. Only problems I had revolved around the nurse and doctor assigned to me. I was told I’d be given morphine and a anti inflammatory, which would not actually resolve the nerve damage/pain I have. I would need a nerve suppressant. The nurse was above my skin about to put the needle in my arm then said out loud “wait this isn’t the right size needle that would hurt” so I was already anxious about letting her touch me. Then when I asked why I wasn’t given a nerve suppressant the nurse said I had to talk to my primary doctor about getting that. So I figured why am I even here. Then the doctor came in 6 minutes later and said he was giving me scripts for a nerve suppressant and anti inflammatory. So I don’t think the nurse and the doctor were actually communicating with each other, which made me even more uncomfortable.

I recently took my little girl in after a fall on the playground that left her with a broken arm. We were able to get in and get X-rays immediately. Anthony, the nurse, was amazing with her. He was great with kids and made it the best experience he could for her- complete with a trip to the freezer for a popsicle on the way out. Dr. Mulvey was also great with her and called a specialist about her injury to make sure she had the best treatment for her arm until we could see the specialist the next day. I was very pleased with our experience. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who are there for us when we need them!

This emergency room is by far the fastest and most efficient I have ever visited. The staff was amazingly friendly and the doctor on duty was kind, helpful, and didn't make fun of me for being a baby when she performed the necessary procedures. She made an extremely painful situation as painless as possible and I appreciate that. :] The ER is also conveniently located ten minutes from my house so if I'm ever in need of emergency care, I will most definitely be returning here.

I had a good experience with the front desk and the doctor, but beyond that the nurses that I dealt with seemed just a bit rude and not as welcoming as I was use to. I also had them call me about one of my test results and when I called back I was asking questions regarding my results and the nurse who I spoke to was very rude and blunt and made it seem like I was inconveniencing her and that I didn’t have a right to ask questions regarding my results and my body. I’ve came to this hospital many times and most times I’ve had a good experience but this is the second time that I’ve had issues with the nurses being a little rude and not as welcoming at all, and it comes off as I’m inconveniencing them or that they are irritated.

I went in because I had fallen twice within 2 days. I was having sharp pains in my left knee and calf. My right hip was hurting also. The ER performed X-rays on both knees and the right hip. Nothing showed up.

Check in , is per the usual the slowest and worst part of any Emergency Room visit. It isn't a lack of processes or staff; merely the delay to see a medical professional. I wish that more facilities would have an immediate triage nurse that could assess the urgency of a patient. The staff and facility are amazing. The slight delay is inconvenient, but not a complete detractor with my experience thus far. I am sure time and popularity will have a detrimental affect on the patient experience waiting. Overall, very happy with the care and process.

I'm kind of a frequent flyer at this little ER due some gastric issues and they are wonderfully attentive and very quick to treat me. Much faster than a traditional ER with the same high level of care.

Fantastic care, very personalized and attentive.. i was in for a corneal abrasion, and from check-in to discharge was less than an hour, including the time it took me to fill out government insurance forms Xander I was completely uninsured. Would have been five stars if front desk attendant hadn't been gregariously committed to the fiction of farcical mask magic, critiquing my application of the PAPER mask right up to how far over my nostrils the fictional protection shield went.

Arrived after a night of intense pain which left me exhausted and barely able to function. From the very first encounter with the person in admissions I was made to feel at ease and that I would be seen to by professionals that actually cared about my well-being. My impression was confirmed when upon being triaged I was admitted into a room and was pre-diagnosed and sent for some scans for confirmation of the attending physician's suspicions which were 100% accurate (THANK YOU Dr. Toussi! You're the best!) It's a comfort to know that this location opened up and available 24hrs a day. Thanks to everyone that was there.

This is the best Medical facility in Indy hands down. From crest desk check in, and throughout out whole process, it is clean, all staff Security, front desks, nurses, physicians and techs are so professional, accurate diagnosis and treatment with fast service. I know not possible, but wish this was my whole personal medical team. I have a PCP, although have learned more and know more regarding and understanding my health on an emergency basis, to give me the tools to follow up with PCP. I like my PCP,, no shade, but this just wish for this personalized care for ALL, during routine visit at all medical locations as you are able to experience here. We brought our daughter to Urgent Care tonight. We checked in and were immediately taken to a room where two nurses quickly took her vitals. Once the vitals were done the doctor came in and diagnosed her with double ear infections. He gave her the start of an antibiotic and pain medicine. The doctor and nurses were very personable. So grateful that we have found a 24 hour urgent care for future visits.

I had a terribly hurt back and knee and she went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, safe, and welcomed. I thought the days of people caring for others were truly gone. I've had very negative experiences with hospitals in the past but I left feeling very pleased with the service. I honestly can't say enough about the professionalism and courtesy of Dr. VonDerHaar and the whole team. I dealt with several different specialists while there and everyone was amazing. I was also surprised by the full range of testing and imaging they were able to complete quickly on site. I fortunately haven't had many dealings with ER's, but this place was very responsive and thorough in evaluating my pain and ruling out anything life threatening.

Everyone was so kind and helpful, and we were sent back to a room within a few minutes of arrival. We did have to wait over an hour to be seen by the physician, and they were not busy, so that was a bit disappointing. Plus, I was given paper prescriptions to have filled, which I was unable to do since it was a Friday night. Most doctors call in the prescription for you, so I wish they had done this. However, the staff was amazing, and the facility clean and organized, so these were minor annoyances in an otherwise good experience. Kudos!

They were able to diagnose my gallbladder after more than a year of it being missed by my family Dr, a gastroenterologist and the Community Hospital North ER. I was so grateful the ER doc figured it out right away ordered a CAT Scan and was able to get me scheduled for surgery within 24 hours. Staff was super nice and attentive too. The Radiology Technician even made my daughter an iced coffee while she was waiting 😊.

we didn’t even get a chance to sit down before we were seen *disclaimer*... it was a Thursday night around 10pm when we got here. the nurses are very easy going (well, one was a nurse the other was a very lovely EMS lady who made our unfortunate trip a little lighter with her jokes and convo), the doctor was very honest and seemed extremely genuine in his efforts to get to the root of the problem and help in anyway he can. simply put, tonight he received what should be the epitome of amazing service by medical professionals. i’m happy to know if something ever happened i live near a place with such tentative staff.

***Update 2 - After a couple months of back and forth, they agreed to accept the amount that our insurance company would have left us with had they submitted the claims which was acceptable to us. Despite the billing debacle, the service was good and we will go back now that Indiana H.B. 1004 should protect us from surprise bills. ASK ANYONE THAT ENTERS YOUR ROOM IF THEY PARTICIPATE IN INSURANCE. **Update - The phone number below is a compliment or complaint line where they will call me back within 7-10 days. No call yet 7 days in. Also received 2 more bill from doctors in this ER. One for over $1300, and another over $1000. the $1300 bill is from a JULY visit. Had we received this on time, we would have never gone back for other ER visits. It's sad that in an emergency situation you have to think about anything but getting help for you or your loved one. During a recent visit to this location where a family member had a bulging disc in her neck, we saw Dr. Brian M Cullison for 5-10 minutes which culminated in him saying that she needs an MRI, and that was about it. The hospital is in our network, so we weren't worried about anything more than a co-pay as we've previously experienced there. Now, 3 months later we're hit with a bill from the Dr. for over $1100 that we plan on fighting. NO ONE MENTIONED that this person did not accept insurance that that we would be charged. We could have gone to an urgent care, or med check and paid nothing more than our co-pay. Despite our many positive interactions here, this absolutely negates it all. Someone should have mentioned it to us and given us the choice to receive care here or somewhere else.

From the moment I arrived to the moment I left the staff has been exceptional! The paramedics, X-ray technicians, and doctors were all funny, and kept the spirits high while working as efficient professionals. If you unfortunately have to end up in an emergency room, let it be this one.

I normally hate going to hospitals, but this was a pleasant experience. Dr McIntosh was professional and courteous, and the radiology tech(I think that was his title), Barry, was very friendly and knowledgeable, as were the rest of the staff whose names I can't remember. I hope I won't have to come back, but if I need a hospital this is where I would feel comfortable going. Bathroom lock was a little finicky, not a big deal though.

The facility was nice except for the bathroom door lock malfunctioned and I could not get out. I was seen immediately and everyone was helpful and professional. It was great to hear there was no blood clot in my leg, However the diagnosis of sore muscles was not correct. Two days later I went to Ortho Indy and diagnosed with a medial meniscus tear. I was also told to discontinue the Ibuprofen 800 as it is not recommended for a heart patient.

When my husband decided to take me to St. Vincent Neighborhood Hospital, I thought it would be a nightmare getting seen. To my surprise, they took me right into the triage area. All of the staff on duty that afternoon were very, very kind, knowlegeable, and good at their jobs. When they realized my health condition required a greater degree of care than they could provide, they got me transferred to the St. Vincent Hospital on West 86th Street; scheduling a transfer by ambulance to their ICU Unit. Thanks to the efforts of the medical staff at St. Vincent Neighborhood Hospital I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in its early stages, for which I am noe being treated.
