My husband (James Caranna)had an appointment with Dr. Mishra yesterday. He has always found her to be a caring and compassionate physician. She has been his neurologist for many years and she is always willing to listen with helpful suggestions. My husband is on a walker and she tries to make everything a little easier for him. He feels very fortunate to have her care.

I thought my water had broken the other night at 30 weeks pregnant. It was a false alarm thankfully. The nurse that had checked me was super rude and not gentle what so ever. So when she went to test me for amniotic fluid she leaned over me and shoved the Q-tip in and caused me to cry and scream. She didn’t stop to let me breathe or anything. The Q-tip came out covered in blood and she looked at me and said “Well the cervix check is going to be a lot more painful then a Q-tip” while I was crying in pain. The doctor came in and did the amniotic fluid test again and he was very gentle and I didn’t even flinch and then he did the cervix check and that wasn’t painful either. I get home and was screaming in pain everytime I had to pee. I filled the toilet up with blood for four days after that everytime I peed. It would take me an hour at a time to pee (I’m also 30 weeks pregnant) because it hurt so bad and I was scared to use the bathroom. I literally was in shaking pain after I would use the bathroom. The woman who did it was a blonde woman with glasses and I believe her name was Ashley. What she did was very traumatic for me and I pray no one else goes through that. I believe she was careless because one to her I was wasting her time and two I’m a very young mother. Teenage mother in fact. I’m giving 3 stars because it wasn’t the hospitals fault that she was in a bad mood that night and because everyone else was very pleasant to me.

This visit was emaculate! I came in they got me triaged and rushed to the back they got me meds for my issue and did the tests they could to help rule out issues. Goin back to my doc nxt wk and getting started back w my trip to seeing a gi doctor this time the issues were a Lil dif. I would like to extend my gratitude to the pediatric floor. My baby was there for two days and everyone and I mean everyone were awesome. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did. They engaged in conversation with her when they came in. She received gifts that she absolutely loved. They were awesome. If you have a sick child this is the place to take them. Your child will be in safe hands with them. Thank you again Memorial Pediatric.

I had chest pains and went to the emergency room. The entire staff from registration to discharge were absolutely professional, compassionate, and sensitive to my situation. The best hospital visit I have ever experienced. Luckily I was okay after extensive testing. Thank you Memorial Hospital. What a wonderful hospital to deliver your baby! I have been to another local hospital that left me traumatized after a csection, but Memorial went above and beyond to make sure I felt save and relaxed. After my csection at Memorial, they never took my newborn to another room. They did everything they needed right there in my room and that brought me such joy and comfort. My nurses were always there for me and they were so loving and caring! The doctors in the operating room were always keeping me informed as to what was happening. I even got to see my baby and kiss him for the first time! Thank you, Memorial Hospital.

My husband is currently in the hospital, went to the ER 5 days ago, on a Saturday, was seen IMMEDIATELY, then was admitted. Everyone here is so nice and pleasant. Extremely impressed with all staff. The rooms on the 4th floor are kind of tight but other than that, great experience so far

I was in the emergency room because my blood pressure was so out of control the attendant position when I got there was amazing and really highly recommend that I stay and get my heart checked out the first nurse I had was amazing then at 4 AM the bottom fell out got the rudest nurse she came flying in the emergency room because there were no rooms and beds she didn’t introduce herself or say anything she had brought the porta potty by my bed and I have serious balance and weakness issues I barely touched her to balance before I sat down and she very rudely said don’t touch me you can’t make me fall or pull me down I said I’m sorry it should be on my chart that I am a fall risk and I was NOT gonna take you down I was just getting my Balance she was so rude and then she started interrogating me about my medication because normally I’m at Ochsner‘s which that’s where I will be in the future believe me!!!! “The ambulance took me to Memorial “made me feel so uncomfortable I started crying she had a terrible attitude, and approach. Never again. There’s muchhhh more don’t have enough room. I did really like my nurses on 6th floor once in room and my heart doctor and all the test procedures went smooth!!! Just don’t go to there ER if you can avoid but sure every day and shift are different…,

Well, I came in 2 days ago and have been treated great. The nurses on the 4th floor, Shana and the group have been so very kind and helpful. I couldn't ask for any better treatment from them. If I needed anything they were right there to get it for me. Thanks ladies, you are the best. Update, well Friday when I was being discharged , the nurse, (can't think of her name). I had an IV in my arm and it started beeping I told the nurse 3 times in a 2 hour window. No one came in to fix my IV . I told her I had my oxygen tank and she said that was all that was needed to go home. She leaves again and gone another hour .I called the nurse desk and she comes in and tells me that I can tell my daughter to head on up there cause I'll be coming down in about 15 minutes. She gone again, im still waiting on someone to take IV and things off me. Nurse comes back in to take things out. She asked if my ride was there yet and I said yes, she is parked out there waiting. She asked if I can get my ride up there to help, no she can't. Ohhhh when she took my IV outside missed the hole where the IV was and I had blood all over the place. While all the girls and guys where great to me, the 2 nurses from Thursday night and all day Friday. Was busy somewhere or taking a nap. After the guy from the oxygen place,

My granddaughter needed surgery and we were told they would do it this morning. Dr. Blackburn decided to return to the hospital last night and perform the surgery. Thanks to him and his team, she is now sitting up coloring and eating ice cream for breakfast. Thank you all for helping my granddaughter in her time of great need with your excellent care.

Overall wasn't too bad of an experience. My main complaint was that i had to wait 2 hours just to get into a room when everyone behind me went infront of me. Only other thing was one of the female triage nurses wasn't very friendly. However the white female nurse with blonde hair was incredibly friendly and going out of her way to make people comfortable and listened to their concerns, she definitely enjoys her job and was very pleasant. The doctor was also very nice and actually listened to what i had to say. Much better experience than going to Singing River in Ocean Springs which is closer for me! Singing River is by far the worst hospital on the coast!

I recently had to go to Memorial for cheat pain and i would like to thank all of the staff for their proffesionaliism and the immediate response in getting me to the ER. We have the best fast response team on the gulf coast. I have multiple stints that Dr, M Shah has put in and I'm very grateful to him and Tara and all of his staff at his office for their loving care for my well being. And i also can't say enough about the staff of nurses on the 5 th floor. My Nurse, Leslie, Pam and Scott and my Techs and everyone were just Awesome in my care. . Love you all. Moved from Texas and wanted a health provider that was a well rounded and was able to communicate with doctors. I picked Memorial and have never regretted it. My cardiologist, neurologist, rheumatologist and hospital are all connected. Most convenient way to keep everything organized as far as health is concerned.

I have had two experiences here one with my infant and they were awesome he was back to be seen and going up to the floor for a room within an hour or two. I took my 2 year old and they put everyone who had "covid symptoms" in a closed room and left us there for 7 hours before we were ever even seen there was several babies in that waiting room with us they were exposing to covid just over all awful experience us mommas in the room had to threaten to leave to go somewhere else to get our babies seen then doctor was rude came in acted like I was stupid for bringing my 2 year old to the er because turned out she had a double ear infection and 104 fever.

I don't know if this is the right forum for this review. This concerns the Memorial Clinic at Cedar Lake off Interstate 10 in North Biloxi. This morning I had a colonoscopy procedure done. Everybody I was in contact with could not have been more polite and knowledgeable. My appreciation and sincere thanks to all for being so nice to me. It was not unnoticed on my part. Came in to give birth to my baby girl and things moved very quickly but the labor and delivery team i had was amazing.Dr.Fagbongbe delivered my baby and exceeded my expectations.he was very gentle and respectful making me feel comfortable and confident.I very much would recommend him to anyone.

First ... I was angry to have in take clerks, pre screening medical staff and workmen in the surgery center unmasked!! Completely unacceptable to have anyone in the hospital unmasked! Second ... Surgery/procedure went well, although why almost a dozen people needed to talk to me before surgery and only one after, I don't quite understand.

I was admitted to Gulfport Memorial in January 2022.I have been in a lot of hospitals over the years ,3 in just the last 3 months and I have too say that Gulfport Memorial where I stayed for several days is by far the best I have ever experienced.I was located on the fourth floor and was amazed by the staff.

Hey Memorial Hospital can you work on your billing site? I am tired of getting a bill for one amount in the mail and it is a different amount online with no way (except calling) of knowing what the additional amount is. Also, why do I have to have to login to a separate portal to pay when I have the patient portal? Singing River Health System has all in one and with a breakdown of the bill. Please do us all a solid and fix this! PLEASE!

The staff is absolutely amazing. The facilities are well kept. I've never experienced a wait time over 15 min. to be seen by any department I have to be seen in. If you want to find great parking, I suggest you make any and all appointments for no later than 0800. Any later than that, it's every man/woman for him/herself and you will more than likely have to look for parking across the street or wherever you can.

Nurses do not care if you wait 8 hours to see the Dr. They will never give you a straight answer. Very rude and expect attitude and a very long wait time. Atleast from what I experienced.

My husband and I waited about three hours in the emergency room. Everyone that helped us was friendly and professional. Once we got to the back to see the doctor, the visit was quick. Our doctor and nurse were very pleasant. This was a nice experience. Many people like to complain about the wait. It makes me wonder if these people have ever been to a doctor’s office or the emergency room? You will wait. It is part of it.

My niece got a gash on her eyebrow while we were on vacation. We arrived to ER at 4:36 a.m. and we were out by 6 a.m. I was very pleased with that. The nurse and dr. was very attentive and professional. Thank you!

The hospital staff are good and the infusion. Clinic is clean and nice. But the parking is horrible. I have to come once a month for treatment and it takes 30 minutes of riding around to find parking. The employees take up the parking deck. I had to park 2 blocks away from the hospital today. I dont mind walking a little but after treatment I dont feel well. I am going to try and find somewhere else for treatment.

Lost my billing paperwork and ended up sending a bill to collections that NEVER should have gone! Other than that, the ER department is fantastic. The nurses and doctors who worked with me caught a life threatening condition that could have been easily misdiagnosed if they wouldn't have been as thorough as they were. I was well taken care of by the nurses, doctors, and surgeons. Everybody was nice and considerate when helping me. They have great attitudes and made me feel comfortable. Although, i arrived at the hospital at 2pm and got called back at 8pm. I understand patients get called by “emergency,” but i was the only person crying in the room because of my pain and most likely only one of the few that stayed 2 nights at the hospital AND had surgery! (I did not know this would happen, but i do know i was in great pain) It was utterly ridiculous!

My husband recently had arthroscopic knee surgery. The entire process was easy and efficient. The staff was incredibly kind, and kept me informed. They took excellent care of both of us. It was a great experience.

It has been really hit and miss. They have been great but sometimes not. My first experience with them was when I went there to deliver a baby I was giving up for adoption. It was an open adoption and the adoptive family was with me through the delivery experience- the staff could not have been more insensitive to the situation and i filed a grievance. After that I broke my leg, went in to the ER with an allergic reaction rash all over my face, and they were great. Then I went in on Mardi Gras for a bad flu because the doctor's offices were closed and I was on chemotherapy right before final exams. the doctor was so nasty to me, I understand it is an emergency room and maybe my problem was less than an emergency in his opinion but I was suffering and he was so callous he wouldn't even write me a note out of school despite acknowledging my flu. He told me to wait it out. (on chemo, there is no "waiting it out" i had no immune system and things only got worse i know from experience). For the second time I was met with insensitivity to my problems. Luckily my choice to go there two weeks ago with post appendectomy pain- they found a blood clot and admitted me for a week and a half where the staff the entire time was awesome.

I walked in the ER a couple of weeks ago with back pain looking for the reason. The wait, very reasonable, some complaining they were there first. Please, folks! It is not a fast food restaurant. It goes by priority! Everyone from start to finish was polite. Special thanks to Dr. Nguyen for the polite professionalism! Back pain was 3 buldging discs. Oh My Lord...I am breaking down. LOL

There are good and bad ER doctors here I have seen both. The ER nurses have always been nice to me. I'm young and college full-time and have chronic health problems and no insurance. Every time I have gone in with an emergency I have been seeing quickly within 30 minutes. I've had some doctors who did the bare minimum but did patch me up well enough. But today I experienced a doctor who went far beyond what was the bare minimum care. And I actually left the ER feeling far better than I did when I went in. ER rooms can be over crowded and understaffed and people can have bad days and it's not that you always have a great experience with the staff but I have had okay experiences and great experiences with some of the staff. And today after being admitted and spending all day there I was stable enough to go home at the end of the day I feel significantly better but not necessarily well but I am incredibly thankful and I do recommend going to the emergency room even this one if you need to.

We live in Jasper and my son was visiting friends. At that time he had to have emergency appendectomy. It's a 6 hour drive to get to him and I was scared to death. The doctor himself calls me updates me on everything and when the surgery was finished the doctor again called me to let me know everything that went on. I think that's amazing!!!! Everybody I met at this hospital was absolutely amazing.

Recently I had a needle breast biopsy done after having had two abnormal mammograms. I went to Memorial for the mammograms and the biopsy. Fortunately for me, the suspicious area was benign. My Mother has been battling ovarian cancer for the past year. She's been to Memorial a number of times. This last visit would be, well, the last visit. The staff were very professional and gave my mother excellent care. I will be forever grateful for that.

I went to ER for severe pain in my side. Getting into a room was fairly quick (noon on a Saturday), I didn't even wait in the waiting room. The doctor saw me promptly and the nurse administered my blood test and IV quickly. I was a bit confused why my husband couldn't come into the room (he was parking while I was checking in) until 30 min after I got into a room. The wait for testing and such took a while, I got a CT scan as well. I was there in the ER for about 6 hours total. I don't know if I would "recommend" coming here but it didn't feel as bad as some other ERs/hospitals I've been to.

During an overnight stay with my mother, I visited the food court in the morning and dropped a $5 bill. It was retrieved by a woman named Cynthia, and when I visited the food court a second time for lunch, cashier Mary Trautman not only recognized me as the money dropper, but brought it back to me with a note labeled where it was dropped! Excellent care for my mom, excellent integrity from every staff member. Thank you all so much!

My 80 ur old father-in-law had fallen and hit his head causing a massive brain bleed and put him in a coma. We were met at the emergency room by a Dr and a nurse. We were put in a private area where they explained the seriousness of the situation. A Dr Davis performed the surgery. After surgery, Dr Davis met us and spent a long time explaining the surgery and listened to our concerns. My Father-in-law's chances were slim for survival. With God's grace and the care of all the staff, nurses, techs, Drs including Dr Davis, my father-in-law is alive and going to therapy in less than two weeks. This Hospital and all its staff is amazing. Everyone was kind and attentive. Thank you all.

Was temporarily in MS in Oct. 2014 and had to take my 10 month old son because of a high fever. Had already been to the ER the night before to Garden Park. Terrible experience, feel free to read that review. The staff at Memorial was amazing. Even though they were adjusting to a new system, they were very timely, efficient and extremely nice. All the nurses adored my son and the extremely competent doctor went above and beyond when seeing my son. He clearly had plenty of experience with children. I hope I never have to return to an ER but if I do I'm definitely going to Memorial.

Doctor never ask how staff treat you. Very rude like you on their dime doing you a flavor. Keep you waiting 2hrs or more. Damn shame, and their ER is same way. Getting mad just thinking about the crape. I know what you saying. If you don't like go somewhere else. Once you get pass all the bull at the beging, its cool, plus they keep it clean, to me thats more important. That is why i go. I,m usully sick as a dog before i must go.

I went to gulfport memorial hospital with chest pains and shortness of breath threw the emergency room, from the moment I arrived from the security guard that insured I got to the right place ,to the emergency room team that took me to a exam room the instant I got threw the door and and I truly feel saved my life that night,to the staff night and day that always insured my comfort and health care Thier #1 priority on my floor for a few days that I stayed ,I believe it was the cardiac observation unit ,to the young lady who always made sure my dietary needs we're met and the food was awesome ,hot and ready,to the young lady who took care of my room and never disturbed me ,and my doctor who was truly one of the best I've had I believe, and Engineering staff who took care of my request to do a minor issue in the shower on my floor, and lastly my receiving Nurse and Angle of Mercy Carroll Ann Murphy who in five minutes brought my blood pressure down to a much safer level,to my discharge Nurse Mrs Pam who insured I had everything I need to go home and get better. I know This sounds a lot for short time I stayed at Gulfport Memorial hospital,but it forever changed my Outlook on life and living and itsbecause of the 5 Star treatment I'm here today .
