I was hit by a vehicle while walking on a crosswalk. I was brought to this hospital by ambulance. The nurses and doctors were extremely attentive. They were quick on getting all the necessary tests to make sure I was okay. In particular my nurse Lauren went above and beyond, making sure I was comfortable. They made a scary experience not as scary. I knew I was being taken care of. Thank you.

I went in for surgery on my cervical spine. Everyone was so kind & supportive. They really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Georgette in pre-op was amazing, as was Kendal, the night nurse. Melissa, the OT, was also great. Even the cleaning person & the food delivery people were wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I am very grateful for the care that I received at this beautiful facility.

I wrote a scathing review of this hospitals ER. After waiting for four plus hours in the waiting room. I asked for a supervisor, I was ignored. After another 45 minutes I am finally taken back to a room. Once the doctor comes in, wow was the Doctor the only saving grace. Was kind and listened, got to a treatment plan. If it was not for the doctor I would have given one star. The doctor was amazing

I cannot say enough positive things about the Mom/Baby and NICU staff at this hospital. My daughter was severely ill and my granddaughter was born 2 months early. The care, compassion, love and kindness that have been shown exceed any expectations I have from the best of the best. Every staff member demonstrated they genuinely care about the patient and their families. They truly listened to her/us and answered every question with honesty and accuracy. We knew what to expect and felt completely connected throughout our stay. Staff transition at shift changes were transparent, we knew who was coming/going at all times (at least we never felt any chaos if there was any). Our GB is still in NICU and I have no doubt she is in amazing hands. Thank you Parker Adventist for taking such great care of our family. You set the bar high in your field!

Just had our third baby here, which now makes two that we’re born here and the first one elsewhere (and the experience elsewhere was terrible tbh). We knew this hospital and staff were great the first time we were here, but having a fantastic experience again the second time proves that this wasn’t just coincidence. The staff here is excellent, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. Also the food was delicious, we ate here the whole time and didn’t even bother ordering out, because for the $7 bucks it was a hell of a deal for what we would get (my wife ate for free, the $7 was for any guests like me). I recommend the breakfast burrito and the garlic olive oil flat bread pizza, two of my faves. The room is great and we had an epic view of Pikes Peak both times we stayed here. Pull out couch isn’t a bed, but considering no one is sleeping with a new born anyway it didn’t matter for the couple hours I got to pass out between shifts. Thumbs up and high five to the wonderful CPAH staff, nurses, lactation specialists, and Pediatric Doctors. If we ever have a fourth baby it will be here, but three might be it for us lol.

Trust me. If you’re having an emergency it’ll take less time for you to go somewhere else to be seen. They always have the LONGEST wait times and always so rude. I legit asked for ibuprofen but they refused to give anything and then got ignored and walked away when asking a simple question. We’ve been here multiple times and it’s taken HOURS to even be seen.

This hospital saved my mom's life! From the E.R. to the ICU to the cardiac/stroke floor the staff were truly guardian angels. My mom still has a long road ahead of her, but she wouldn't have even stood a chance had the doctors and nurses not been completely on top of everything. If I could give 100 starts I would!!

I've honestly had some awful experiences here before, but my visit tonight was nothing short of perfect! The staff went above and beyond to help me and even my mother! When we walked in my mother (who is in a cast) was offered a wheelchair since her crutches were wet from the snow. They greeted us so kindly and we were given a room very quickly (I was having respiratory issues). My nurse was wonderful and very attentive! She even managed to know that I was thirsty before I could tell her. They were able to diagnose me in a single test. The doctor was also very attentive and empathetic! Honestly it was an amazing visit and I couldn't be happier#

This hospital and the staff was sooooo amazing and caring. My mother had surgery and not only the patient care, but the care they showed toward the waiting families was like nothing I’ve ever seen. Going to the hospital is always a very hard thing. Dr. Johnson and the nurses were really wonderful. We were kept up to date and everyone was so nice and caring. We hope never to go back but we know we will be in good hands if we have to. Thank you!

Been a patient at the Parker Adventist Hospital infusion clinic for four years now, and the nursing staff there is always amazing and professional. My last appointment, they were training a new nurse and I could tell how much they cared that she succeeded and that she was successful at understanding all parts of her job. They are always kind and strike up a conversation. Every staff member I’ve had contact with here has been amazing!

Fabulous experience!! The personnel from the ER to the ICU to the main hospital couldn’t have been better. Yvonne and Lydia in the ICU were superstars all the way around. The nursing staff and doctors were polite, helpful, patient, competent and all have fantastic bedside manners. Absolute and total professionalism. When my wife had no use of her arms or legs and needed to be taken out of my vehicle into the ER, two nurses came out and lifted her into the wheelchair as if it was nothing to them. I won’t go anywhere but here in the future. Deserves to be six stars.

My wife delivered our son here & we had such an amazing experience! From the second we walked in, the staff was super kind and responsive to our needs. They had clean facilities and knew what they were doing! We checked in at 9pm and the unit was quiet and respectful of the time of night. Nurse team was well educated and we felt like we were in good hands no matter who the RN was on our unit. They had plenty of blankets, sheets for the slide out bed, and a wonderful waiting area w/ coffee, tea, & hot chocolate.

It was a great experience with all the staff from the intake at the Southlands location to the staff in the surgery department. Everyone made me feel comfortable when I was in a lot of pain. They listened to my needs and where I was at. They got me in quick which I know it's not normal but it worked out very well.

I went to er and was immediately admitted. I was there for surgery for a few days and all my nurses and drs were absolutely wonderful and very patient with my care and questions. I had the same surgery with robotics as my son's mother -in-law and I was out and doing great by myself in 2 days. I had to wear and change dressing to make sure there was no more bleeding. She had surgery with non robotics and had a 5 -6 week recovery period. Even if I had had the non-robotics surgery I would still recommend this hospital for the great drs and nurses.

My experience at the Breast Center at Parker Adventist Hospital was absolutely great. The staff was so kind and professional. The exam was completed rapidly and much more comfortably than any other similar exam I ‘d ever had. I highly recommend them.

Wow! This hospital is absolutely amazing! I gave birth here 5 days ago and must say every aspect was a 10/10- from the doctors, the nurses, other care team members, room service, housekeeping, cleanliness, resources, just everything! I highly recommend this hospital especially for some thing as intimate as labor and delivery. Not only were my request mad but every interaction I had with any team member was individualized and direct with my needs. They really made this experience that much better especially as a first time mother.

Had outpatient surgery yesterday. The staff was amazing! They made sure I was informed, comfortable and relaxed before my surgery and afterwards made sure my pain was under control, and were so attentive! I am home and resting comfortably, many thanks to the staff and docs for taking good care of me.

My name is Mikhail Imseis MD I moved to Denver May 1 2021 needed a colonoscopy wished I have done that back home in western Kansas before I left but I was too busy trying to close my family practice for 45 years My daughter Julianne Imseis-Losh DO an internist recommended this Lady doctor gastroenterologist (Dr Mary Ann HUANG MD )to me and I was overwhelmed with her knowledge compassion and friendliness She did come evaluate me before and after the procedure told me about the results and I have no regrets about not having the procedure done in Kansas folks this lady is the best I want to see to it that my daughter refer all her G.I. patients to Doctor Mary Ann HUANG MD she will be pleased M Y Imseis MD

This was my third trip to the infusion clinic and I can’t thank the nurses there enough for helping me! I am struggling with extreme morning sickness and dehydration, and they are nothing but kind, helpful, and respectful. They clearly explained everything that needed to be done, helped me in every way I needed from blankets and a pillow when I started to pass out, to regularly making sure I was comfortable and getting the help I needed. The facility is extremely clean and I feel safe there. Some people hate hospitals, but I actually feel so relieved when I have the chance to visit the clinic because I know I will be helped. It the best experience I could have hoped for during this difficult time!

Everyone, from check in to the procedure, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel like they cared about me. The lady who did my echocardiogram was so nice. She explained everything to me before she did anything. She made me feel relaxed during the visit. She is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Her team members as well that worked with her were also very friendly. The one thing I really like is they all introduced themselves first. I can’t tell you how many don’t!

The nurse I had was amazing. She was very kind and communicable. The anesthesiologist was also awesome. They work with you on payment and don't Demand up front money like other hospitals I've been to. Dr. Chan was wonderful. I was in and out very quickly.

My experience with the hospital and Dr. Worrell would be rated a 5. From the time I arrived it was great, I was checked in and escorted to the upstairs surgical area where I was prepped for surgery. During this prep I was asked if I had any questions about what was happening or going to happen. The staff was all extremely nice and supportive. Upon entering the surgical suite the doctors and staff told me what they where doing and that everything would be great when I woke up. When the surgery was completed I went to a recovery room, where I woke up. It took awhile for me to not be confused when my head cleared I was dressed and given instructions for days going forward. I can't say enough positive things about this hospital. I was admitted to the E.R. with a serious illness that left me hospitalized at Parker Adventist for almost 2 months in late 2020 and the staff and volunteers were so compassionate and caring. I have since been back several times for appointments and am always impressed with the staff, especially with all that they are dealing with in with regard to COVID. This hospital literally saved my life and I can't thank the staff there enough.

I was in a very bad spot with a severely herniated disc. The neurosurgery one team got me in quickly, reviewed my MRI and walked me through it, step by step. They got me in for surgery quickly and I am already on my path to recovery, with no pain for the first time in months. I don’t have the words to explain how grateful I am, and I would highly recommend this team and facility to everyone. Every single doctor, nurse and specialist I dealt with was kind and thorough in explaining what the process entails and what each step looks like along the way. I never wondered what was happening, or why it was happening. Dr. Asfahani is a talented and compassionate Doctor who I can’t recommend highly enough. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else, these people are the best!

Incredibly clean, organized, and clearly mapped to get to the right place. I had both my Covid vaccines here, and the nurse administering the vaccine each time was professional, friendly, and informative. In a time when being around others or in a hospital can be nerve wracking, I wasn’t ever nervous about being there or receiving the vaccine. (Also, it was completely painless, so that’s always a plus!)

My father was admitted to the ICU in January and spend a month in the ICU on a ventilator. I don't have enough words to describe what a wonderful job all of the staff did. We were not able to see him for the first 10 days due to covid so it was really hard on ll of us. Evrything was new to us and making decisions was hard when not knowing what is going on. The staff and doctors were really great in explaining everything and the process it would take to get to the next step.They were able to get us on zoom calls to see him. The nurses and doctors at this hospital are beyond life savers. They are true heros. They cared for him like they would care for their own. They work really hard during these uncertain times to do everything in their power and more to take care of their patients.thank you ro parker adventist hospital and thei wonderful,caring and knowledgeable staff!

Overall it was an amazing experience. My surgeon was awesome (Dr. Steven Barnes). I felt like I best in class surgeon! Nurse Jackie who prepped me was amazing. She even delayed her lunch to stay with me when we found out Dr Barnes was delayed. She was so friendly and caring. The next person I saw was the post-op nurse, Amanda. She was also just amazing. I truly felt loved and cared for throughout the entire process.

Efficient, fast processing, nurses, nurse anesthetist and MA provided exemplary care and compassion. I wish to call attention to them by name: Anna (MA) guided me back and took my vitals, Jennifer (RN) started my IV and verified my background information on my health, Kaitlin relieved Jennifer and finished up, Tim (Nurse Anesthetist) introduced himself and did some screening and Lucy (RN) took me back to the procedure room. Jennifer took care of me through recovery and arranged for Anna to take me to the drive up in a wheelchair for discharge. This was a big improvement from my July 30-Sept 1 hospital stay for bleeding ulcers where the nurse discharged me ambulatory after I lost 6 grams of hemoglobin! All these Centura employees are professional, knowledgeable and took great care of me. Dr. Huang was thorough and efficient.

The staff was extremely friendly helpful I think that relaxing music should be playing in the surgery room to take the patient mind of the process that the surgeon is doing because I was able to hear the sound of the tools used. I also think that given the patient small pillow or squeeze ball to hold on is also helpful because I wanted to hold on to something during the biopsy but I didn’t have anything in my hands.

ER staff, nursing staff on floor I was on was exceptional. Discharge efficient this time ( friend,'s discharge 2 years ago was several hours ). Any plans for new patient beds? I am not a princess, but it was actually painful to sleep on the mattress, was told this is a common patient complaint. Otherwise, awesome hospital

Really great experience at the Breast Care Center at at Parker Adventist Hospital for my mammogram. Super friendly staff, and the radiology tech was really nice and made sure the machine was as comfortable as possible. Speedy appointment and results came through the next day. Couldn't be happier, and will definitely go back. Would recommend!

April 11th, I had Bariatric surgery with the greatest Bariatric Surgeon on earth, Dr. Joshua Long, at the greatest hospital on earth...Parker Adventist in Parker, Co. From admissions to pre-op, to the OR, to the Bariatric floor, I had above and beyond excellent care. I literally felt like a Queen by thecway I was treated. Even lab, radioligy, housekeeping, and dietary staff were all incredibly kind. On top of that, I got to experience the program that the hospital Chaplain and team started called Healing Art. Latisha, RN; Katelyn, RN, & Kelly, RN are top notch nurses. The best of the best!

The Outpatient Therapy Center at Parker Adventist Hospital is outstanding. They offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy in a fully equipped center, including a therapy pool. Pandemic safety precautions are meticulously adhered to while stringent cleanliness is maintained at all times. The therapists are all highly skilled and very experienced, professional yet friendly and personable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs therapy for an acute or chronic condition.

I had back surgery at Parker hospital, and my procedure was done by Dr Larry Lee. Prior to the procedure, I met with Dr Lee twice and he explained EVERYTHING in great detail. On the day of my procedure, I was cared for extremely well, and everyone involved was beyond nice as well as professional. All members at this hospital were knowledgeable and friendly. My family was well cared for and received constant updates about me, which helped put them at ease while I was under. I highly recommend Parker Adventist as well as Dr Larry Lee for your medical needs.

From the moment I entered the front door, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. I was given excellent instructions for proceeding to the vaccination area. When I got there, the same level of professionalism occurred. Directions were clear and precise. Doctor Thompson was wonderful. He made sure I understood everything and even offered to pray with me before surgery 🙏 but not in a pushy way he was very polite when he asked. He had wonderful bedside manner. I don't remember the names of the nurses or the anesthesiologist however they were all very kind and made sure I was comfortable as well. The only suggestion I could give that they could improve on was that I don't remember them going over my discharge instructions and how to take care of myself when I got home. I am sure they went over it all because I had a packet they sent me home with that answered every question I have had so far.

My care at Parker was excellent from the time I arrived in the ER to when I was discharged was beyond amazing. In the ER , Stacy RN helped me relax by telling me everything that was being done and planned. She treated me with great kindness and explanations . Dr Brad reassured me immediately when the first tests were being done and thought he could probably send me home with meds if I did have a blood clot. Dr Brad gently discussed his desire to admit me but only with my consent. Everyone was so reassuring and timely in their care as I was admitted. Anna my CNA & MeganRN responded quickly to all that had to be done. The day shift was equally adept and caring in all that was ordered for me. Elizabeth CNA was gentle, reassuring and tuned in to everything I may need. ChristyRN put me and my husband at rest, even handling my husband’s kidding with great humor. She updated us as soon as she knew a plan if care. Though I dreaded getting a stress test, everyone in Nuclear medicine Mandy, Brett & Elaine NP put my fears to rest and made the test go much easier than I expected. Dr E was my MD for the day and took great care to listen, explain what he thought was the most thorough evaluation and followed up with me with all the good results. He even let me go home(bless him) even though he wanted me to have further tests. He made sure I would follow up with my Primary Care MD to get the exams he felt I needed. . KUDOS to ALL your staff, from the environmental service staff, dietary folks to the MDs and hero RN’s, I could not have received better whole person care. Got my 1st Covid vaccine and it was Easy! I’d say the only thing I would have liked was a more detailed explanation of what entrance to use! Small details like this go a long way! Where to go once checked in inside was marked very well. Once at vaccination station I was greeted by pleasant & attentive representatives :) A little paperwork to do - took 2 minutes as I had already done ALL of my info on the online app! My nurse Laura was fabulous, didn’t hurt at all - thank you so much. A wonderful waiting area was well stocked with water and snacks and a RN just in case. Overall a stress free experience.

Great place. Easy check in process, typically don't have to wait more than a few minutes if at all. Techs are sweet and gentle. Radiologist has come in to review my results with me both times when I had an ultrasound so that I didn't have to wait and wonder.

I was very disappointed in the lack of customer service, now twice. A nurse was rude while waiting in the ICU and the front lady at entrance was extremely unprofessional, by far the worst I have ever encountered (pic attached) in a hospital! The staff lacks customer service which is really sad when it comes to someone visiting a loved one that is in ICU. The ER and ICU doctors and nurses have been superb and I would give them 5 stars. The facility is a pretty campus with nice view.

The staff was so caring and kind.... All my questions were answered thoroughly and I was put at ease for my mammogram.. I highly recommend Parker Adventist Hospital. The office and rooms were extremely clean and sanitized. Masks were worn by everyone and hand sanitizer was readily available everywhere. Every staff member at this facility is so warm and inviting as soon as you get through the door! They are ready to go with your paperwork and answer all of your questions. When I was taken back to do my diagnostic testing, they were very friendly and walked me through each step of the way. They all went above and beyond! Dr. Sun and my nurse Shannon made me feel incredibly important and very cared for. I didn’t feel like I was just another patient coming through even though I know they have a long list of patients coming through. They were incredibly personable. During the procedure, Dr. Sun even put on music I like to make me feel comfortable! I don’t even think I lasted through the lyrics of the first song... so I guess kudos to my anesthesiologist too! I can’t say enough good things about what is otherwise an incredibly awkward and potentially uncomfortable procedure. I never felt awkward or uncomfortable!

My daughter and I went here for our covid vaccine, the first shot and everyone was very nice,respectful and concerned for their patients. I unfortunately had a bad reaction and passed out after 20 minutes they rushed me to the ER and took great care of me. I'm fine but it was scary. They called me the next day to check on me. My entire team was knowledgeable, patient, and extremely helpful. Everyone answered all my questions on a lever I could understand. When Dr Chan told me he hadn’t been told by his office about my change from a full thyroidectomy to a Hemi thyroidectomy, he didn’t miss a beat. When three different friends referred me to Dr Haung, I felt this is the doctor I would like to meet. The staff was five star! And when I met Dr Haung, she made me feel so relaxed about having a colonoscopy, something I had put off for too many years. She was welcoming, explained the procedure, and by the time I walked out of my appointment, I felt that my procedure was in the hands of a professional friend! On the day of the colonoscopy, she came and greeted me (or as I felt, welcomed me to her house😊,) and summed up the time and procedure. She again came over and told me I was next, always staying in touch with me. When I went into the operating room (10 minutes in and out, my son informed me from the board in the waiting room), again, Dr Haung made me feel she was in control of the operating room and had a welcoming team! I woke up from the anesthesia and there she was, informing me the procedure went well! Yes, I would refer her and there aren’t enough stars for her professionalism and people skills (I call it great bedside manner.).

I have had three surgeries done by Dr Duhon. He and Ana, his PA, are as good as it gets. They are extremely knowledgeable and put their patients first. I know I will be taken care of and the care they give me will not stop until I feel healthy again. I recommend both Dr Duhon and Ana without hesitation. And the staff and nurses they surround themselves with for the surgery are amazing. They are kind, compassionate and very professional. They all treat me like family and that allows me to keep my focus on the procedure, where it needs to be.

This was my third trip to Parker Adventist- I had both my knees replaced there. This time was for umbilical hernia repair. Dr. Harr recommended the least invasive procedure, which I appreciated as the holes were much too small for placing mesh. My anesthesiologist, I believe Dr. Campbell, was amazing, knowing immediately that due my red hair I’d need a little extra attention. The staff was all wonderful, even after a little mixup at check-in due to some newer folks. (We all had to start new somewhere, right?) I was even walked back to the correct place by Dr. Harry’s assistant. I was given plenty of time to wake up, and the nurses were wonderful to chat with both before and afterwards. I was even given some more juice for the ride home. My only complaint is the layout of the hospital, but that seems to be a common complaint from even the employees. I would also suggest the text alerts for procedures contain a few more details as to where, exactly, your procedure will be performed due to there being a few different surgical centers on the campus. Overall, this has been a terrific facility for my various operations.

Yesterday I had surgery and every single doctor, nurse and CNA I encountered was absolutely AMAZING. Jessica was my pre surgery nurse and she made me feel relaxed and I wasn't nearly as nervous going into surgery after spending time with her. I can't remember all of my nurses names but they were all equally amazing and made me feel comfortable. The CNA Emily that helped me to my husband's waiting vehicle was also very sweet. The food is pre pared by a chef! The nurses are extremely kind and knowledgeable. No one in the hospital is a patient....they are all people who are treated as individuals. The surgery that I personally experienced was by Dr. Scott Stanley...and his procedure was far less evasive than other docs said was required. My daughter had her baby there...superior attention by docs and staff. I once took my granddaughter there, who was in a state of emergency...the hospital took her immediately...even before asking for insurance information! I highly recommend this hospital.And now I have returned to Parker Adventist Hospital for surgery by Dr. Kevin Blue. He is the very best, Far above expectations. Everyone I worked with for my hip arthroscopy surgery were fantastic. I never felt rushed, I always felt I was encouraged and allowed to ask questions, be silly, and just generally made comfortable. Unfortunately I couldn't have any family or friends with me when I woke up from the anesthesia because of COVID, but the staff that stayed with me during that horrible time (Ugh, my body does NOT like coming out of anesthesia) were INCREDIBLE and let me cry, be disoriented, and were so sweet and kind to me. I have to have my other hip done in a few months and because of the service I received, I'm actually looking forward to going back.

Went to the ER here after going to the emergency room three times at a different hospital. It only took them two hours to diagnose me and admit me and schedule me for surgery because I have something wrong with my spine. I'm so impressed with their efficiency here and the way they treat patients. Every single person that I've come in contact with from the janitors to the secretaries and nurses and doctors have been wonderful. This is really a good hospital and they have hired the best people possible. The nurses really stay on top of things and they have done an excellent job managing my pain and helping me to relieve my anxiety in this difficult time that I'm having. The spine doctor PA came in yesterday at the doctor came in to see me today and these people have been awesome. This is the best hospital experience I've ever had

I have had many visits to Park Adventist Hospital over the past three years. Most of these have been for treatment of breast cancer. The staff in the Breast Care Center are amazing! They managed to make a very frightening diagnosis something that I felt I could deal with. Their technicians are incredibly caring and helpful. I have had two surgeries and many imaging studies there, and was treated with kindness and dignity by everyone from the admitting staff to the nurses, physicians and technicians. When I walk through their front doors, I feel at ease and at home, knowing I will be well taken care of. My visits to the Cancer Center (and there were many) were always as pleasant as they could be. The front desk staff, the nurses, and the oncologists were kind, caring and showed genuine concern for my safety and comfort during my treatments there. I cannot imagine going anywhere else for my health care needs.

Had a surgery at Parker Adventist hospital performed by Dr. Erica Drennan and was extremely pleased with my experience. The check in was quick and pleasant. When I was brought upstairs to prep for the surgery my nurse Georgette was a god send. She did everything she could to make me feel at ease and comforted. She was polite and talkative and helped me get my mind of the stress of surgery. The anesthesiologist was so kinda and friendly as well. Dr. Zapsen (I think that was his name) also helped to put me at ease and was quick and through getting through his paperwork with me and explaining the sedation process he was extremely pleasant and also professional. Then enter Emily and Morgan. Two nurses but I would call them angels who comforted me the entire time. I was nervous and just had a lot plate and they honestly had the best bedside manner I have ever seen in my 39 years of life. These two amazing women showered me with support right where Georgette left off and by the end of my experience I was crying ...tears of joy...because I felt I had been in the best hands that comforted and supported me through my surgery. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for you support. Amazing doctor (Drennan & Zapsen) and nurses (Georgette, Morgen, and Emily) make an uncomfortable dreary situation not only pleasant but put me at ease. I am grateful 10 out of 10 and although I don’t want to have another surgery if I did I would run back to see this amazing bunch of doctors.

I went in to their ER for generalized stomach pain. Within 4 hours, I was diagnosed with appendicitis and was on my way to emergency surgery. Every single staff member was amazing and took wonderful care of me and my unborn baby. They were friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and so so kind. I was visiting from out of town without my husband, and needless to say I broke down when I heard I needed emergency surgery at 17-weeks pregnant. They sat with me, comforted me, and took excellent care of me. They let me listen to baby’s heart rate immediately after surgery (once I was coherent), and again before I was discharged just to give me piece of mind. I can’t thank all of the staff enough! Wonderful, wonderful people.

I can’t be more happy with doctor John Sun and the Parker Adventist hospital - the 1st time I meet him was on 2008 - after visiting numerous doctors that where unable to find my problem - doctor Sun was the only one that was able to do a colonoscopy and discover my problems - he did my surgery and I can’t not be more happy with the results. I cannot say enough great things about the staff at this hospital! I had the gastric sleeve surgery on 10/12 with Dr Long and would like to compliment some staff members. Kimberly, RN,in preop admission who did my bloodwork/ekd was so patient, calming and gentle. Then when I had surgery the volunteer checking me in was so kind to start my morning. Preop nurses Nicole and Hannah were fantastic.. While in my room( rm 219) i had the pleasure of being cared for by Dani, RN charge, who was simply unbelievable. She was so kind and patient with me while I was in extreme pain. She worked with me to find the best cocktail to help with pain management and educated my boyfriend and I on the medication she was using. There was also a nursing student /Cna that I forgot her name but she was such a joy to be around! CNA Fura was a sweet delight who was prompt in answering the call bell and helping me with any needs during the evening. My overnight nurse, Natalie, was witty, fun, and on time with all medications to ensure no breakthrough pain. She educated me as well and gave me great support and encouragement. My day nurse, Netsi, helped me with discharge along with nurse Kayla and although I only had brief encounters with them both, they were full of compassion and grace. My daytime CNA Nicole was awesome! Super prompt to my needs, very friendly, patient and just overall a great asset to the team. Lastly, Chaplain Terry came to see me 2x and provided great calmness while I was being prepped for surgery and while I was recovering. I was so impressed with the speed of response to the call bell from all staff and so impressed with the personality and care of the nurses and CNAs and everyone I encountered during my brief stay at Parker Adventist. Not that you want to recommend a hospital, but if you need to go to one, I strongly suggest Parker Adventist!

Most people don’t review unless they have a complaint. Probably even less submit a review about an emergency room as they have other concerns. That said, Parker Adventist ER was truly a great experience. With a few broken bones, the staff there was helpful, caring, and fast. I hate *hate* hospitals and such, but the staff, all the staff, from intake to discharge was amazingly kind and compassionate. The nurses and doctors were amazing, as was every X-ray, CT tech. They made me feel comfortable and cared for, which went a long way. I can’t recommend them enough.

We recently spent 4 days in this beautiful facility, and was impressed with the staff and care given. I have been a nurse for 42 years and the attention to detail in caring for the patients needs went way beyond just the physical. The meals were great tasting and attractive with allowances for every imaginable special dietary need. The staff was efficient and thorough while being very personal. The Drs were amazing and literally found and treated a condition that wasn't known when we arrived. The time in the ER on a busy Sunday was swift. The communication was open and they included my expertise in making decisions for my client. The facility is beautiful and comfortable. Every department from PT to music therapy was great. Love, love, love this hospital. My baby girl was born here and I had to have an emergency C-section. They took great care of us for the 3 days stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided us with everything we could possibly need. About 7 weeks after my baby was born she came down with a virus, they sent us to the Children's hospital area of Parker Adventist, they also took great care of us and helped my daughter get better. I can't say enough about this amazing hospital. It's very clean, orderly and has the most caring staff on hand. Which is always needed when you are in stressful situations. I came to Parker Adventist Hospital to have the COVID-19 vaccine and had an excellent experience. Everyone was friendly (from volunteer staff to the nurses), and they worked to make the process as streamlined as possible. The make-shift clinic is set up in a couple conference rooms, so at the “clinic” entrance, there is a greeter who instructs you to fill out paperwork (bring ID + vaccine card, if there for your second shot) and then directs you into the main room where your paperwork is reviewed by a staff member. After the needed information is gathered, you either are moved to a cluster of chairs to wait for a nurse or are moved directly to a station to receive the vaccine. Once you have received your shot, you are moved to an adjoining conference room to wait 15 minutes while a nurse monitors for adverse reactions. Easy! BUT, I have two complaints; one, it was unclear where to park and which hospital entrance to use, and two, from the hospital entrance to the conference rooms, it was quite a long walk - keep that in mind if you have trouble walking or are in a wheelchair. For those wondering, you can park in the lot closest to Crown Crest Blvd and enter through the main hospital entrance - there is a big sign that says “Parker Adventist Hospital 9397/9395”. You’ll be met by a greeter just inside the hospital entrance who will screen you for COVID symptoms and then direct you where to go for the vaccine clinic.

There was an initial problem upon arriving. I was told to be there for 8am. I signed in at 7:50am with my D-I-L. Neither of us heard my name called. I noticed people getting called to the admission rooms, so I went over to the desk to find out what was going on. This sweet little blonde haired elderly woman came out and I asked her if I had been overlooked. She said she called for me 4 times my D-I-L and I never heard her. She recalled seeing us come in and saw us sitting across from the admission offices. She said she even pulled her mask down once and called my name but never left the desk area where we signed in nor did she inquire with us as to what we were waiting on. So, this in turn made me late apparently to getting upstairs. The nurse was rushing to do her part. She was great throughout it all and very calm which made me less anxious than I already was as this was my first colonoscopy. I could certainly sense too that she was concerned with time. My procedure was for 9:30 am. I didn't go back until around 10:15am as they took another patient in my original time slot. Do you have a speaker ability or something to amplify when someone is calling for a patient or even a ticket program of some kind so that this doesn't disrupt admissions and/or the surgical teams? Not to mention reducing or not adding to the extra anxiety the patient may have on top of the procedure or surgery they are going ti be having done. Mary, the anesthesiologist, and Dr. Huang were very nice and professional.

I have mixed feelings as the check in the pre op went well my post op did not. I woke up in recovery and was rushed so fast out it was crazy. I went in for surgery at 935am my surgery was about 1 hour 15 min and I was in my car leaving at 1130. I don’t understand why patients get pushed out the door so fast. It’s very frustrating I wasn’t even all the way away when the nurse literally dressed me and put me in a wheelchair and flew down the halls to get me to the car

Wow for once they showed me up. This visit was the only one I can be happy with. I've had to go to this hospital I think 3 times before this one. Believe me it was hard to go back this morning. But I was just bleeding to much not to. I just hoped for the best. They were nice and knew what was going on with my thumb and went right to work on it. It was around 4:30am when I got there. The staff was great. I was told everything that was going to happen to me as it happened. Great to have a doctor and nurses today that got the training and education form real schools than the ones I got in the past that had no idea how to start an IV. she turned that IV needle around in a circle twice as I kept telling her she was hurting me. Both of my vaccine doses were administered by Centura in Parker CO. On my 2nd visit I was impressed to see clearly labeled instructions and appropriate signage. Not only did we have separate check-in for Moderna and Pfizer, we also had a cheerful and knowledgeable greeter who directed patients to organized stations. Autumn, who administered my vaccine, was very professional and kind. The following 15 min observation period went by quickly with lively radio music and we were offered water and snacks while we waited. For almost a month I had been trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I am a pretty healthy person and only get sick once a year, sometimes not at all. For that reason besides our overtime being taken, I irresponsibly waived my health insurance and only had eye and dental coverage. Bad idea. I fell on my leg and thought I had an infection. I used UCHealth virtual and thought it could be cellulitis. After almost 2weeks of taking extra strength Tylenol and my vitamins, I didn’t feel any better. So I decided to go into DenverHealth where I am witness, cost of service is beyond wonderful. Had X-ray, labs/blood and Covid tested and again sent home and told it could be Covid related. I continued to take the extra strength Tylenol and my vitamins and my condition got worse. I went back to UCHealth and still nothing. As I started feeling worse, with a sudden loss of appetite and loss of taste, my ex husband “highly” suggested I go to Parker and Adventist. Concerned about cost, he reassured me they had programs and he was so sure they’d find the problem. Parker and Adventist hospital saved my ex husbands life when he had a heart attack, almost a year ago, and from what I witnessed, their care is amazing. So Parker and Adventist hospital is where I went. By then, my breathing and body ache had gotten worse. I also had a fever, cold chills, loss of appetite, nauseous, loss of taste... at 52, I had never felt this before. It felt worse then an asthma attack but similar in the chest area. Arriving at Parker and Adventist, I was escorted to the ED and to the room. There was no wait. I had my labs/blood, urine and Covid test and a CTScan done. They believed it maybe Covid related and my CTScan showed just that, similarities of Covid and pneumonia, in my chest area. Yet my test came out Covid negative at UCHealth, Denver Health and Parker and Adventist. I was given medication and a 14 day excused note from work. Parker and Adventist found the problem. It’s been a bit of a struggle for me since the pandemic, since overtime was taken... it’s been hard all around since the many changes. I am a healthcare worker and I can’t express how thankful I am to Parker and Adventist. Going into Parker and Adventist, I was a bit embarrassed coming from another hospital and in having waived my health insurance but DenverHealth and Parker and Adventist is where I was told by many to go to and that I do believe. Words can’t express how thankful I am to the ED team. How can I ever thank them for locating and treating the problem. I appreciate Parker and Adventist greatly!!!!

I went to Parker Adventist for spine surgery a week ago Tuesday. Because of a bit of difficulty adjusting to the correct pain medications my stay ended up being four nights. In any 24 hour operation the staff changes at various shifts for either basic care, RN care or even the food service staff. The care and attention to detail were excellent in my experience. Yes, some nurses were more outgoing or pleasant and others less so but overall, everyone was well trained and helpful. The food was both excellent and/or not so hot. The French Dip, omelette and quesadilla (without the chicken) for example were good, The fresh fruit plate was excellent one day then less so the next day. A low spot were the two staple hospital foods: chicken noodle and tomato soup. I have no idea how this otherwise excellent facility missed the mark on them so badly. LOL If I ever need hospital care again I would feel 1005 confident having the procedure and stay at Parker Adventist.

I had my daughter here in Dec 2013 and will definitely return when I have more kiddos! My Dr (Dr Drennen) is amazing. The nurses were all super caring and attentive. This was my first baby and they helped and explained so much to me. Put a saw through my knee and ended up in the emergency room at this hospital. That lead to emergency surgery followed up by a few days in the hospital. I have to say, as far as a hospital stay goes- this place was great. The nurses and doctors were top notch. The room was very nice and the food... sounds odd to say it, but the food was really good. I don’t know, I guess if you have to stay at a hospital, this one is the one to go to.

On the morning May 1st 2018 I entered the Parker Adventist ER due to what turned out to be a serious infection. I came in with extream pain, feaver and other issues. The ER staff processed me in quickly, attending physicians and nurses worked hard to address my pain and issues. It was determined that I have a severe infection and was admitted. I spent a week in the hospital, still doing home care, probably for several more weeks. My condition required constant care and monitoring, what stood out most was the quality, compassion and professionalism of the nursing staff and attending doctors. They made a very difficult situation so much better. I write this review to thank them for being amazing, friendly and kind, and at most times with s sense of humor, yet still being very focused and professional. I want to let Lena, Nichole, Alla, Nichole Doyle, Said, Janet, Elizabeth, Shon and Brandon know how much I appreciate the quality and compassion of the work you do and for treating me with dignity, and thoughtfulness, your care was amazing...thanks you! The attending physicians were also most excellent, thank you Dr's Chinn, Huff, Baily, Ayyar, if I missed anybody my apologies. Overall my Parker Adventist Hospital experience was excellent due to its high guality, professional, capable, and caring staff. I would highly recommend.

I have worked in Medical Imaging for over 22 years, so I know what to expect when referred for imaging procedures. My doctor ordered an imaging procedure and I scheduled to have the procedure at Parker Adventist. My case was very complicated due to my symptoms. The staff were very accommodating and professional...they went put me at ease to complete my procedure The personnel involved included two Special Procedures nurses, a Nurse Anesthetist, an Anesthesiologist, and two members of the MRI team. I did not name names here, but I spoke with Administration and gave the names of the personnel involved.

Hospital is close to home. If you have other choices for medical, I would use an alternative. Second time in ER for family members. You could be missing a leg and the girls at the front desk would not assist or look up at you. Overall sense is that you are bothering the nurses and staff. The Doctors have been very friendly, so that warrants two extra stars. Prepare to be asked to swipe your credit card... before you receive any sort of compassion. Btw - I've maybe given 4 reviews ever, felt obligated to give this one.

This is just for the maternity ward. The nurse station was pleasant upon arriving. Recovery, hey...they have to check on you. Though it can be annoying when you're trying to rest, they have to see how you are and check vitals. I would give 5 stars if the beds were more comfortable. But, they are so thin that you can feel the steel bed bars under them. Very uncomfortable. Food, I like it. I think it's great. Remember, they cannot cook with a ton of butter, grease and salt. So for me, yum. I love the natural taste. I also wish they did have a few more channels on their tv service. I still would recommend this place highly.

Very helpful ER staff. We visited here after visiting one of those mini Urgent Care / ERs (total waste of time and money). This place took more time to try and understand what was going on instead of just trying to get her out the door asap. We had to come back as the symptoms didn't change over night and the staff was very helpful and caring of the situation. But while I was there for something that seemed rather minor, my lab work revealed a major health issue and specialists were brought in to consult and recommend treatment. I have 4 kids and have bin to the Parker Adventist ER 2x within 6 months of moving to Parker. Once to the Children's hospital ER and once to the Adventist hospital ER. I had no problems both times.. I have bin to the ER 7+ times in the last 2 years from Boulder to Parker.. and we were in and out no problem. The Quality of care was quick and friendly. If i needed to go to a hospital i would choose this one over the others I have bin to in the Denver metro. 2015 Update; well kids are kids after 3 surgeries 4 broken bones, more ER visits both to the Parker Adventist ER side and the Children's ER at the same hospital, yes there are 2 ER's. I know some of the Nurses buy name now, I would never hesitate passing up another hospital to go here. We had 1 bad Doctor, but he was just doing surgeries there he is not part of the hospital practice. I get how people think there one in the same, but there not. He is also no longer there after multiple complaints. I also read some of the 1 stars are complaints about stuff that every hospital would do, yea 2 ER visits 2 bills, yea get in a fight with the staff they remove you from the building.. I have never had a problem with the hospital Nurses and other staff. They were understanding and any concerns were taken care of as fast as humanly possible. Doctors all nice answer any questions that you have it is an Adventist so it caters a little bit more to old people but that's fine my only quarrel is with the nurses your nurse either is very personable very upfront and caring checking on you frequently even if it's just popping head in the door or your nurse we'll see you 3 times Max in a 12 hour shift will have about Pre-K communicating skills in a large lack of Common Sense and/or job awareness I understand routines and procedure but nursing is a job that requires personality maybe some charm I shouldn't question if you're on the Spectrum as my nurse some nurses are forgetful also had to remind some about my shots and my medicine like I said it's hit or miss not all the nurses are this bad just some

I was born with shorter pedicles which caused this. The Spine team and surgeon was excellent. The care team was there for me every second I needed to move. The food was healthy, delicious and excellent. 5 Stars Care Team and hospitality team!! Billing department processes, ZERO (0) Stars. I told Parker Adventist before my surgery that I was going to be maxed out of pocket. If I paid anything up front, I would be stuck chasing a refund. That is exactly what is happening four months and counting. Surgery was in June and Parker Adventist's claim was fully paid off on August 14th. Today is Oct 22nd. I have been calling every month, asking for the credit balance to be refunded. Each month, I'm told the system will automatically refund my credit balance but it will just take time. Ahhhh, but here's the loophole. Because I do my post-op x-rays/imaging at PAH, apparently it keeps my credit balance for future payments. It's never going to release my funds unless I do my imaging at your competitor, Skyridge Hospital. Any business I give Parker Adventist unrelated to surgery "date of services" from my hospital stay, keeps my credit balance. Impact: perpetually holding my funds needed to pay my other real bills. Apparently, no human manages closed claims or accounts with credit balances spanning 4 month. The patient needs to get frustrated and escalate (deteriorating the PAH experience). I like going to Parker Adventist for my imaging but you are making me realize I should go to Skyridge (they are also in-network) This is an unnecessary hardship to a patient that should only need to heal.
