I didn't experience the entire hospital, but the emergency room and ICU I did. I am specifically rating a neurosurgeon Dr. Angela Bohnen, who is phenomenal. I am eternally grateful for having her do emergency brain surgery on my father. We went from a state of devastation and panic, to relief because of her. Through the entire process she has been so calming and confident, that the entire family felt he was in the absolute best hands. I do believe she is the best doctor I have ever come in contact with, and she is so professional- yet down to earth at the same time, which is needed while interacting with families that are dealing with probably one of the most traumatic events in life. I simply want to say, I appreciate her, and thank you for truly caring about my father's life-- thank you. She is five stars all the way!
I did have some issues with a nurse lying (omitting and manipulating a situation) and an ICU doctor that does rounds being demeaning, but my focus was on my father and his health. The charge nurse Jennifer was exceptional when dealing with the issue, and his day nurse Anna was five stars as well. I feel they took my concerns seriously, and were going to address the unprofessionalism of those two staff members because it was unacceptable behavior. The case manager Donna has been fantastic to work with as well, and has made us feel heard and valued.
This has been a pretty horrific situation to go through, and having less stress with the facility caring for your loved one can make all of the difference. I appreciate what has felt like genuine concern from many staff members. I appreciate the COVID precautions to keep the patients safe. This has been a mostly pleasant experience that I hope others are able to have if they end up in an unfortunate situation as we have.

Had a really great experience at The BirthPlace at this hospital. My labor & delivery and recovery nurse teams were amazing through my whole stay. Each patient gets a private room for L&D and then you're moved to another private room for recovery and your first few days with baby. We felt comfortable and cared for and received a lot of great support during our stay. We felt like we could ask any questions and get advice for what to do when we get home and didn't have all this professional help around us. The hospital also did a very cute thing for the birthday, they provided a special menu for dinner in our room for my husband and I to celebrate our baby's birth.

Giving birth here was an absolutely fantastic experience, and I would recommend it to anyone!
I had my first baby at Rose, AKA the baby hospital, so when I moved down South I felt like the hospital I chose for my second birth would have a lot to live up to. Luckily, Littleton Adventist more than competed, and that was because of their absolutely exceptional care staff.
Every nurse we worked with delivered a five star experience. Paive is an actual angel on earth, Jasmine is so friendly and knowledgable, and Paige in postpartum care was so wonderful to us. Our baby nurse (whose name I can't remember, stuff got crazy!) noticed something abnormal on our new baby, and herself, the pediatrician, and all nurses working with us got so involved as we went through an ultrasound and MRI, and all celebrated with us when the news was good. My husband was amazed and said he didn't understand how everyone could be so emotionally invested in us when we are just one of many that come through there every day, but that's what makes nurses so special.
The level of care we received here was so above and beyond what could ever be expected. I would absolutely have more babies here (but I think I'm done), and if you are on the fence about whether Littleton Adventist will be the place for you, let this be a STRONG endorsement for birthing there! I wish every nurse in their L&D and Mom/Baby units the absolute best, they are an incredibly special breed of people and it made a big difference during one of the most important moments of our life. I hope they know what impact they have, and keep up the good work for all the new, stressed out moms out there that need them!

Very positive experience with the staff, the service providers and the care. My athletic husband had a minor heart attack at age 60. The emergency staff, took him seriously, did all the tests and scans necessary, next morning he had a stent placed in his blocked cardiac artery. The nurses were very caring, knowledgeable and pacient.

November 6, 2021 I wasn't feeling well and I could hardly breath. I ended up at Littleton Adventist Emergency Room. Same place two of my daughters were born. I was in AFIB. I stayed in the hospital for 12 days I think. I was mean and nasty and hard to deal with. My heart stopped one time for 29 seconds and another time for 19 seconds. Bottom line is this, the doctors, nurses and everyone there looked past my rudeness and saved my life. Actually, they saved it a couple of times. What a great hospital and staff. I literally owe them my life. Thank you everyone at Littleton Adventist Hospital! You guy are heroes!!!

Visited the ER on a busy Friday night. The whole team were wonderful.

Absolute five-star (radiology), from the beginning of the confirmation appointment and until you enter the hospital and later to the radiology registration front desk you get the help of very patient staff, especially the stacy work at the radiology registration front desk, She is passionate about her work and patient and respectful to her patients. People should learn from her about her work attitude. I don't know why Littleton Hospital is a bad comment, but in my opinion, all of the Department of Radiology. The staff are the best, I hope that they will remain in this state for every patient who checks the body and feel that it is a happy thing. They also have a waiting room where Nestle coffee and rocky mountain water are provided. There are magazines and TVs. You won’t be bored when you wait. This place is very neat and makes people feel comfortable at home.

I was in last Monday for a total knee replacement. I have got to say, I had the best experience I’ve ever had at a hospital! This isn’t my first time having surgery. The staff were so caring, knowledgeable and helped me laugh when I needed it. Checking in online was super easy so when I did get to check in, it was super smoothe. The staff at Littleton Adventist ROCK! Thank you all for your care! 💜🤗💜

I recently delivered my baby here and had a very great experience! The nurses, doctors and midwives were all very caring and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure I was always comfortable and taken care of.
Misha Rouse
ICU staff was AMAZING! All staff was AWESOME! My dog was lost while I had to be rushed to the ER. Ladies in ICU went out of their way to find her & made sure I went back home to my furry baby. The entire staff was warm & welcoming. Best hospital experience I've ever had. Would give this place 100 stars if I could!

We have been beyond blessed to deliver all four of our beautiful babies at this hospital. We have always received the best service from all nurses as well as the doctors. Our little August has been in the NICU for 101 days now and she has been so blessed to be at Littleton Adventist.

From the moment I entered to the moment I left, everyone was incredibly kind. I have multiple chronic illnesses and have been around many doctors and healthcare workers, but I have to say that this hospital have some of the best ones. I am extremely grateful to live so close to a hospital that genuinely cares about their patients. I was in immense pain today and the doctor took care of me instantly. Luckily, it wasn’t anything serious, but she was very kind and listened to my somewhat long medical history. Many doctors in the past (at hospitals in Miami and Atlanta, where I used to live) have cut me off and ignored what I said, but not the doctors here. I’ll be going back as I need to get a Holter monitor on, but I’m sure I’ll have a lovely experience.

Last month I was flown in from Kansas for gallbladder and pancreas issues. My 4 day experience with this hospital was beyond wonderful. Big shout out to nurse Kevin and all the other nurses, CNAs, and doctors who cares for me. I felt like they listened to everything I said and gave me the best care possible. The only thing I found odd was that I had to be shipped to a different hospital for a procedure. Then when my procedure was done I got shipped back to Littleton.
Megan G
This is one of the best hospitals around. The NICU is amazing, so is the labor and delivery unit. clean and friendly staff

This is a review on a place that I hope many of you don’t have to go once or ever, but if you have to …. So be it. My other half had to have her hip replaced…. Surgery went very well and it was a day and a half event. The hospital has a cafe is what I would call it. I had the chicken tenders and sweet potato fries the 2 days I had lunch there. The tenders were tender and fresh with a nice crunch the sweet potato fries were also very good. This cafe also is separated into two halves- the first half had 2-3 different pizzas and sandwiches- and 2 soups. I ordered from the other half that had mostly impossible burgers and hot dogs along with pasta and sauce- they also had a salad bar. All items are weighed and you are charged that way… it was very cheap for good food. If you are at the hospital I would try it.

I had appendicitis. Horrible pain started 12 hrs before going to SCL ED, they did expensive tests and said it was ulcer and to make follow up with PCP. After another 48hrs of pain, went to another ED. I was desperate. Littleton was wonderful! Andrew Ramirez PA was in the ED, and he was patient and listened. He examined me and knew it was my appendix. He consulted surgery. Another CT came back normal! Do radiologist here in Denver know how to read these? The surgeon went back to radiologist and advised him regarding my symptoms and take another look. It had ruptured!! Thank God for the surgeon Ms Stephanie Timothy MD. The whole staff was great! Every nurse, every transportation person and the food wasn't bad either!
Scott Souder
From my check-in with the registration person through the whole hospital experience until I left in our car the experience was great. First of all the three nurses that took care of me were excellent. Katie was my prep nurse. She was kind, polite, and upbeat. Paul my O.R. nurse did a great job and added humor to the day. Morgan took over in PACU to make sure I woke up aware and alert. To which she wrapped the day up with quality care with a mix of humor. All conversation I heard between the staff was professional and polite. The anesthesiologist Dr Cohen explained his portion for my procedure, which was to keep me sedated during the whole procedure. Which I must say was pleasant from beginning to end. Dr Robert L Thomas preformed the surgery on my meniscus. The pictures I saw of before and after were of an excellent procedure. Dr. Thomas is great! Kudos to the entire team!
Letta Lopez
This is the best hospital I’ve ever had. Dr. Brink, Dr. Cohn and OR nurse were all wonderful. They all took the time to talk to me before my surgery. My pre-op nurse and post-op nurses were wonderful too and I couldn’t have picked a better team myself. Thank you for making a necessary surgery, a positive experience.
Ilynn Sutton
The Hospital staff was great front start to finish!
I had day surgery the nurses were friendy warm and professional! They were "Top notch"
Dr. BAKER showed great concern for me and I had tremendous confidence in him as my surgeon! He put in extra time dealing with my issues and has wonderful beside manners.

I had my first baby here 7 days ago.
I went in for an induction. Things got complicated, and I ended up having a cesarean... This was my first time having surgery and I was so afraid. The staff did wonders when it came to calming me down and helping me understand what was going to happen. Everything went well and before I knew it they had placed my beautiful baby boy in my arms. I had to stay 3 days. They really made me as comfortable as possible. The room they gave my husband and I was very nice.
The staff was great! They really went above and beyond to help us. I am so glad I chose to give birth here. If we decide to have another child, this is where we plan to go.

It’s been 15 years since my last procedure. Prep is way friendlier, staff at facility are very efficient & friendly. Anesthesiologist and Dr Kim are excellent. Explained everything thoroughly & asked if there were any questions.
Peter Deem
The entire staff was very efficient, friendly and professional from start to finish. The doctors were exactly the same, explaining what would happen and open to any questions we had.
Dr Conner followed up with a call after I arrived home to explain the procedure and again, answer any questions I had.
Thanks to everyone involved with this procedure.
Ron Bernstein
I had coronary angioplasty done at Littleton Adventist the nurses there we're not only professional they were friendly and genuinely engaged in making my procedure go along as comfortable as possible. My cardiologist Dr Ira Dauber is awesome he has been my doctor well over 20 years and I am convinced he has saved my life on numerous occasions. Between Dr Daubers excellent medical abilities and the wonderful care for my nurses I can truly say that this group of people made a wonderful difference in my life
Natasha Flores
Everyone I met throughout the entire process was so amazing. The Nurse staff, the Anesthesiologist, surgical staff, and then of course Dr. Springer were all so amazing. Very kind and helpful. I had a very good experience in an otherwise stressful situation. Thanks to everyone who cared for me!
John Mallon
I felt very comfortably doing the Pulmonary Function test. The personnel there were Very helpful. My walking and breathing is not that good, I received help up to take my test then afterwards the nurse giving the test wheeled me all the way out to my truck. Great people there.
Drew Weaver
Everyone was so nice to me and my gf who came with to drive me home afterwards. She got text messages throughout the surgery. We both felt very comfortable there. It did not feel a medical facility because the lighting and artwork gave it a warm feeling.

My surgical experience at Littleton Hospital was very positive. Every employee that I interacted with was very friendly, polite, and professional. I felt that I was in very good hands from the moment I stepped in the door until I walked out. Everyone ensured that all my questions and concerns were addressed. The check-in, billing, nursing staff, and the anesthesiologist all welcomed me and did their best to comfort me on this difficult day. Dr Jodi Widner relieved my stress, and I'm very fortunate that she was my surgeon for this procedure. I would highly recommend Dr Widner and all the staff at Littleton Hospital for a surgical procedure.
Theresa Camerden
Dr. Tessa Krantz is a wonderful caring doctor and surgeon. She and her staff do a great job of answering your questions and patient care.

The 5 stars is for my second vaccine experience. Thank you all very kindly.
I was there in the emergency room on sunday for severe abdominal pain and received excellent care also. And I would like to give an extra shout out to Laura in admitting. Wonderful, compassionate, MAJESTIC, caring describes her. Thank you Laura, for putting me at ease.
Please, everyone be well and stay safe!

i had to go to this hospital based on my surgeons affiliation. My first time visiting this hospital. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. The staff was wonderful from preop to the PACU. i did not feel rushed out and was well taken care of. The doctors were nice and the nurses were exceptional. I was very pleased with my short stay.
Kathleen Daly
Doctor Rhee is a great doctor. He is easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable. He is straight to the point and you know exactly what is going on. Straight to the point is not a bad thing because his delivery is always compassionate. I would highly recommend him.
Anthonette Klinkerman
I received my second Pfizer Covid vaccine today, and I could not believe how efficient and click the process was. I had the same nurse inject me as the first time and she was just wonderful. Her touch and her mannerisms were the kind of empathetic nature that you would want in a situation like this one. They were even so much fun that they help me take pictures to document!
April Harris
I had outpatient knee replacement surgery at Littleton Adventist Hospital with Dr. Thomas. Hands down the best care I have ever received from a hospital and the doc. CeCe in pre-op was amazing. Elena in PACU took such great care of me while recovering. The anesthesiologist was awesome too. Great communication from the team and made sure all my questions were answered.
james claxton
All the staff and doctors were really concerned with my condition I was in and wanted figure out what was happening and to find a solution that would be safe for me to be discharged and go home. Everything was set up to go home and have equipment to my home went great. The ER wait was a bit long but we are in some crazy times right now.
Kathy Strauss
The nurses were very through and professional. I appreciate their attention and care. It was a very good experience. The care was better than expected. Dr Thomas was wonderful, careing, experiences, through, gave me all the information I needed and support down the line. I had Dr Smith and Jon for the anesthesiologists and they both were excellent. I would definitely recommend the doctor, anesthesiologists, and hospital again.
Diane Maxwell
The staff was so great and caring!!! The recovery nurse, Andrea, took such excellent care of me - really exceptional support and with me every step until release.

Thank to all the staff🥰

I was brought in for appendicitis and while no one really WANTS to go to the hospital, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The ambulance arrived in about 5 minutes and got me to the hospital right away. Once in, my Nurse was helpful and quickly ensured I was on proper fluids and comfortable. The Surgeon, Doctor and Anesthesiologist all spoke with me and explained exactly what would be going on start to finish. When I woke up from surgery I was comfortable and was even able to order what I can only assume is the best hospital breakfast possible. I hope no one HAS to go to the hospital but if you do, Littleton Adventist Hospital will take the best care of you possible!
Robert Decker
The complete knee replacement was seemless. I was taken care of by nurses and doctors the whole time I was at the hospital. They answered all my questions and provided regular check ups throughout the day. Their service and oversight was excellent. My experience was first class. I couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you Littleton Adventist Hospital.
John P
Preprocedure staff kept me comfortable and up to date on my scheduled procedure. There were no delays procedure was on time. Dr. Rhee is an outstanding doctor. PACU RN was very informative and kept me relaxed and never left my side. When I was cleared post procedure was thoroughly explained and I was discharged thereafter. Very happy!
Kristin Bale
I will honestly never go to another hospital. Every single person I came into contact with were so sweet and treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. From the staff in the emergency room to my floor nurses and cnas to the pre op staff, surgical team and recovery unit. Thank you for doing everything in your power to ensure I was taken care of! I had been in the building for 3 hours and had already had a cat scan, been given medication, spoken with 2 different doctors, gotten the results of the cat scan and knew I was going to be admitted and having surgery the next day. They also had told me I was to be speaking with a case manager to ensure I was able to get my Kentucky Medicaid switched to Colorado Medicaid which is something I had been highly concerned about. It was literally the best hospital experience I’ve ever had, and unfortunately I’ve had many.
Camille Wendel

I used LAH for my two Covid vaccines and had a great experience. The staff were working really well as a team and seemed to genuinely enjoy being there. Nurse Gwen was making everyone (including her coworkers) laugh; she made the experience really enjoyable and I felt at ease when getting my vaccine despite how nervous I felt before. I would recommend this hospital for care 100%!

I have nothing but good comments to make about this hospital. The phone system is excellent and the staff is beyond helpful. They have state of the art equipment and the ICU staff is top notch. It is such a comfort to me to know that we have this excellent hospital in the community!
Jimmy Skinner
No matter what, this has to be one of the best hospitals around the south metro area, not only have they taken care of myself but they have taken care of my wife. The nurse’s and medical staff they have here are amazing at what they do, they are very personable and do not treat you like a number, they actually care and they listen. If you ever in Englewood, South Denver area, stay away from Swedish and go directly to Littleton Adventist, you will be well taken care of!!
Tom Chu
My two visits with Dr. Bugoci included the SRT procedure were beyond 5 stars rating. Her nurse was great and was the first medical professional who told me about the concern of my long term Trileptal medication. The SRT was very smooth. I have never felt so good since 2008. Thank you Dr. Bugoci for your treatment.
meaghan carter

I couldn't be happier with my care.
Mary Sue the nurse was so calming and comforting. Dr. Gatager the anesthesiologist was very through.
My own surgeon was incredible.
Thank you @ Dr. Baker 💜.
Trish Hopkins
I was perfectly cared for by John the nurse. Everything was explained and literally my hand was held in the procedure. I felt respected and honored as a human being. It’s very vulnerable to have a biopsy and they recognize that. Excellent care
Karen Brilliant
Teri is by far the best phlebotomist I’ve ever had. She is the only one who got my vein on first try and I didn’t feel a thing. Dave, the volunteer, was extremely helpful, offering me snacks and drinks and escorting me out to my waiting ride. He and Teri deserve 10 stars.
Angelica Kissinger
Went in for a EGD & Colonoscopy. The staff from check-in to checkout really we’re very thorough & very thoughtful & caring. I would recommend this hospital to anyone! I had the best nurse Deb who made me laugh and all the nurses made everything so comfortable for me :) very grateful for them!
Mike Sackel
I have had 2 surgeries in the past 10 months at Littleton Adventist Hospital. Dr. Hugate and Dr. Boone (now in Colorado Springs) are the best in the Orthopedic Surgery Field. Very caring, great communication and of course very skilled in their field. I have nothing but high praise and appreciation, for everyone I came in contact with. Starting with pre-op, anesthesia, Physical therapists, Occupational Therapist, and of course all of the wonderful nurses on the floor. Your dedication to the field of nursing and to your company are well recognized by patients like myself. Thank you so much for your care, I will never forget you!
Julie Theobald

The professionalism and compassion was awesome. I had a pretty traumatizing experience with my pain being so great! But they did their best to comfort me and help me get through it. And all in all the staff was amazing. Even though I was a crybaby they were awesome!
Savannah Hubbard
Delivered my first baby here a few days ago and could not have had a better experience. Every single nurse we had during our stay was an absolute angel. The doctors were amazing and all of our wishes were accommodated. The labor and delivery team was absolutely amazing and did everything in their power to make sure I was comfortable. Cannot thank the staff enough for such a positive experience.
Dr. Leila Grayson
When my 95 year old mother visited from California and developed altitude sickness with shortness of breath, the staff at this hospital took great care of her and treated her with professionalism and compassion. They did not minimize her care due to her elderly status and she recovered fully. This was university medicine in a boutique local hospital. The doctors, nurses and support staff were excellent.
James Bloom
This was my first experience at Littleton Adventist Hospital. I went to get my Covid-19 vaccination and was extremely impressed with the staff and nurses. They were pleasant and efficient. I can’t emphasize enough how pleased I was with the whole experience.

We had a great experience from start to finish. Our pre op nurse, Elaine, was wonderful, caring and helped keep my daughter's nerves at bay. Dr Hugate, our anesthesiology team were first rate! Very careful to be sure we understood every aspect of her procedure before she went into surgery. Her post op nurse, Tracy was also very caring and patient. We could not have asked for a better group of people to care for our daughter from pre to post surgery. Thank you Littleton Adventist Hospital!
Stewart Harsant
Everyone I encountered at this hospital was kind, intelligent, and efficient. Dr. Kim and the team took such good care of me for my first (hopefully last) surgery during a scary time when I was sick. They put my mind at ease and then cured my ailment. I recommend this hospital to anybody. I can’t thank you all enough!
Randy Jordan
Dr Harness was excellent. She helped me feel relaxed and did a fantastic job with my surgery. God Bless her and all the nurses and staff who took care of me. 🙏🙏 …
Ben George
I had a major surgery done by Dr. Hugate. This way first surgery at Littleton Advendist. I was so impressed by Dr. Hugate and the entire operative team. Everyone communicated and everyone was on sync and showed compassion and integrity. Dr. Hugate is an amazing surgeon who is exceptionally skilled. From the moment I arrived at preop Robyn from preop was highly skilled and showed empathy for my concern and made me feel at ease. Dr. Hope and his CRNA from anesthesia took care of my pain and did a wonderful job controlling my pain. PACU nurse Kalyn was amazing and she was so thorough and kind and helped me recover right away in the Pacu and I was able to go home that evening due in large part to how Kalyn in Pacu showed me kindness and compassion. Lastly, the PT Jessica spent a great deal of time helping me walk and use crutches and my walker. She addressed my concerns and made sure I felt safe.
I would highly recommend Dr. Hugate as my surgeon and the entire Littleton Adventist team.
Phil Odell
My experience with the GI team at Littleton Adventist Hospital was excellent. The administration staff was very helpful at check -in. My nurses were polite and professional. And the doctor did an excellent job. Overall, it was a great experience.
Nicole Haibach
My fiance had back surgery. This has been, by far, the best hospital, best service, and most comfortable for accommodations I have ever seen. Very attentive to the patients. Their whole team has been amazing. Very surprised, impressed, and well pleased in the service we both experienced in his recovery.
Jennifer Turner
I give a 5 star rating as I do love the nurses and care we received at this hospital. My daughter was delivered here 6 months ago and everyone was so nice and caring. I received a hysteroctopy yesterday and Was not told the about the amount that was owed before my appt and was told at check in I owed $991 but $495 was the minimum they would take. So I was completely unprepared and now I'm short on money until I get paid next Friday. Had I known I could have prepared better. I had received a phone call but was unable to answer the call so I called back and left a message as I accidentally deleted the message and never received a call back. Again I love this hospital I just think the finance department could be better.
Scott Nelson
I received Dose # 1 yesterday and could not have been more impressed with the staff and the process of getting vaccinated. The employees were friendly, conscientious about safety and moved me through the process very quickly. Will be eager to get the second shot in 3 weeks. Thanks Littleton Hospital & staff 👍👍 …
Coral Jenrette
I had a great experience at Littleon Adventist Hospital! The e-check in was very easy and made registration a breeze. The tech was very friendly and thorough and I was treated kindly throughout. It’s pandemic time when I write this, and masking procedures were in place and upheld.
Helene Scofield
Becky has worked with me off and on for almost four years. I have a lot of issues since having colon cancer. She is always very attentive. She is very caring, and always makes sure that I am comfortable. She makes me want to the best I can. I would recommend her to everybody.
LINDA COULSON
1st floor staff was very efficient, & I was immediately taken to the 2nd floor by Gallie who was so friendly & cheerful. Leigh did my echocardiogram who was also very friendly, pleasantly talkative & set me totally at ease. Talk about so very discreet!
Thank you LAH❣️
tammy Bennett
I’ve never had a bad experience here, but yesterday received the absolute best care from Mercedes. Going for a PET scan can be intimidating but she explained every step, was gentle and was very concerned with my comfort. She made me feel important, and isn’t that how we all want to feel?!
Jim Safran
I went to Littleton Adventist for my first dose of the COVID vaccine. The process was very well organized and efficient. I had zero wait time at any of the four stations, and everyone was pleasant and professional along the way. I was in and out in just under 30 minutes. Thanks to the staff and volunteers who made this such a positive experience.
Katie Burgert
My surgery at the Littleton hospital could not have been smooth and comfortable. I was brought in quickly, had a great nurse who chatted with me about my hobbies, etc, to take my mind off the needle she was sticking in my hand, got back to the OR fast, the anesthetists were funny and welcoming to put me at ease, woke up in recovery with another nice nurse who gave me snacks and released me soon after. This was a way better experience than I expected.
tim carter
I love going to Littleton Hospital for all my scans, tests and any other medical need.
I have factor 5 and have had many DVT blood clots, so I’ve had many scans from many techs at different facilities.
The staff and techs are always kind, patient gentle and understanding even when I’m in a massive amount of pain. I’ve had techs at other facilities who are very rough and impatient, making for a miserable experience.
Thank you Littleton Hospital for taking care of me.
Sierra Lennon
Littleton Adventist will be the only hospital I will go to. Not only did they take exceptional care of my twins in their NICU, they also were the only hospital to figure out my ailments I was having after birth and fix me.
Kassi Sedgwick
Dr. Dorr is THE most compassionate & empathetic doctor I've ever had. I have had two major surgeries with him over the last decade & he is exceptional. The staff that runs his office are all equally as kind & caring. They go above & beyond for comfort & I appreciate this entire office so much. Do not hesitate to place yourself in the care of Dr Dorr & his staff.

We delivered our baby boy with a c-section at Littleton Hospital and had a great overall experience. The quality of the procedure was excellent, the staff was awesome, the food was great and we loved the extra services like massage and baby photography that they offered.
Especially some of the nurses will be hard to forget because of their great bed side manners.
Thank you all ❤️

Dr. Widner is a highly skilled and compassionate surgeon. Her bedside manner is excellent. She eased my pre-op anxiety with her calm demeanor and affirmation of what was going to happen. I knew I was in good hands with her. All of the radiologist, nurses and anesthesiologists (Joyce, Dr. Bratz, Alison, Deb, Matt, Jason, Heather) involved with my surgery process were kind and patient. Dr. Widner’s office assistant Stacy is so nice and worked efficiently to get my surgery scheduled. The entire process from the first office visit to hospital check-in/release ran on time and update texts to my daughter during my surgery were greatly appreciated too.

Wonderful experience! I had a 2:50 appt, was called back around 3:10. Got quickly checked in and got my shot and was then asked to sit aside for a few minutes to make sure there was no bad reaction. Staff was so apologetic about the wait, but I told them I expected a MUCH longer wait!!! Apparently the wait is usually much shorter. They also gave me all the paperwork I knew to expect, where I've heard some providers aren't being quite as thorough. Great experience 👍

I’ve had two outpatient procedures here and both times, my experience was 100% positive. The people that work here seem to genuinely like their jobs and helping patients. I live an hour way (with no traffic or snow) and I will always choose Littleton Adventist if I can.

I went to littleton Adventist er with breathing issues the drs, staff , and nurses were very kind and compassionate and because of covid breathing issues are a little hard to deal with but they were very good about explaining my issue and giving me meds and sending me home which I very much appreciated i was treated with respect and would highly recommend them
Kay Schmidt
The nurses were wonderful and we would give them a 5+.
However, the wound care specialist did not know what she was doing and we would give her a -5. The wound vac never did work and we were so glad to get back to our little hospital to get it done correctly.
Kasey Sparks
If you have to be at or in the hospital, this is the hospital you want. Always pleasant and professional staff, very knowledgeable and they always welcome with open arms. I have had pre-planned services, ER services and my 1st Covid vaccination. Every time has been as positive as possible. I highly recommend.

A few days ago, my son and daughter in law arrived here with complications in their 8 month of pregnancy. Unfortunately, by the time they arrived, the baby had already passed away in the womb. The staff and nurses were phenomenal. They had the courtesy to move my daughter in law to another room, after it was determined the baby had passed. By doing this, we were in a hall by ourselves, and didn't hear other babies in other rooms, which would of been extremely hard for us. They allowed the family to gather and stay in the room next to my son and his wife. They brought us snacks, drinks, and sandwiches. Lisa, the nurse that spend most of the time with them, couldn't have been better. Her compassion, friendliness, and bedside manor was excellent. Seeing tears in her eyes when the baby was being delivered showed just how much she cared. I had multiple nurses tell me how sorry they were. We couldn't of asked for more. Highly recommended!
Allen Adinoff
Littleton hospital could not have been more organized and well run. Despite large numbers of people coming through, I was in and out of there in less than half an hour (including the post injection 15 minutes wait)
. Not only that but everyone was extraordinarily pleasant and competent.

Today, 08/07/2020, at 07:42 a.m. I came to visit my mother that was admitted yesterday with AFIV. My mother has hemiplegia and vascular dementia. I have power of attorney to represent her. My mother does not have the ability to authorize any procedures, treatments or tests. I was denied access to my mother or the nurse in charge to find out how she is doing, not in person or via phone. I requested to talk with a supervisor and the receptionist sent for the guards instead. They trampled my mother's right to have someone she trusts represent her and my right to do so as well. Who's making the decisions for my mother's health and with what authority? 10:00 .am. update: I was able to talk to my mother's nurse through my sister that was allowed in. Then I was able to talk with my mother's doctor. They were all wonderful. Besides my horrible experience with the receptionist, they took really good care of my mom after she was admitted and through the night. I'm thankful to the nurses and staff that are taking such good care of my mother.

My whole experience at Littleton Adventist Hospital was relax & I felt confident about my procedure. Sean was my assigned nurse. He was with me every step of the way. He did an awesome job.

The nurses were so caring and sweet and made me feel so comfortable before my colonoscopy. Dr McWilliams explained my procedure with professionalism and knowledge. And best of all, I received my results the next day!

The new system the hospital implemented to have the "team" come see the patient with in a few minutes of arrival was amazing. The doc, the nurse and I'm not sure who the others were but all heard the story once. The doc gave the orders for IV with meds, urine test before CT scan, blood work. Then the doc did inform us yes it will be a while for each step. He even gave an estimate of 3 1/2 hour to 4 hours. I knew it would be longer as the medical situation changed. I understand that there are people all lined up for the CT scan and then the ultrasound but all of it followed along. I watched the doctor go back and forth very quickly to see many patients. He was very thorough in his explanation. He listened to every one of my questions and had a good answer. The nurses treating my daughter were great and even when I stepped to the desk to ask a general question other nurse told me where the 24 hour pharmacy was, another staff walked me to the door to find the cafeteria. I've worked in the medical profession for 30 + yrs, most of it in Boston. Yes I was impressed. It all started right at the front security desk. Each person did truly share caring and compassion. Even the very busy cardiac tech with the EKG machine took time to hold the elevator door for me.

I went in for my first COVID vaccine. The staff were efficient, friendly, and organized. I was there for max 30 minutes and 15 of that was for required 15 minute observation.
Great job everyone! And thank you for the vaccine. One down, 1 to go!
John Kennedy
It was a pleasant experience from checking in to discharge. The nursing and PT staff were highly engaged, knowledgeable, helpful throughout. For all who must have a similar experience, I highly recommend the surgical team and hospital facilities.

Littleton Adventist Hospital is a jewel. Everyone is focused on a positive, perfect patient experience. Anita in pre-op is wonderful, Dr. Gillik (sorry for spelling) in Anesthesiology was thorough, careful and respectful. And Dr. Baker is extraordinary. Everything from start to finish was comforting, expedient and professional.
Sue Emil
Got my second vaccine at Littleton Adventist Hospital today. They are soooo organized and friendly. I was in and out in minutes. And they gave me a free water. Everyone involved was happy and helpful. They are THE BEST!
Deborah Harris
I honestly can’t say enough good things about Dr. Bugoci. She is extremely caring and sincere and communicates specifics in a direct manner without making you afraid. In other words, she’s got an excellent bedside manner. The information she shared with me and the way she shared it made a real difference in my mental state as I underwent treatment. She doesn’t rush through appointments and is open and interested in her patients’ treatments and their lives. She is a wonderful person as well as a great doc.
Fran Roselli
Because of a recent diagnosis, I had many tests and procedures. Everyone has been kind, respectful and professional. Thank you for all you do to make your patients feel comfortable.
Kathy Dentino
3:15 appointment, showed up a little after 3. I was quickly checked in, in a clean, sanitized seat/area. Was taken back for my shot shortly after being seated. Finished the “paper work” with a wonderful lady- about 3 minutes. Went back and received my shot at 3:12, on my way home by 3:30.
Wonderful experience! Thank you for everything you’re doing for our teachers and community!
Melanie Miller
Dr. Hugate is awesome! He is very intelligent. He is kind.
The staff at Littleton Adventist hospital were amazing. They were friendly and took great care of me.

To Lilia Johnson I wanted to let you know how grateful I am to have had you as my nurse while I was in the hospital. Being in the hospital can be a scary time. You seem to be one of the most considerate nurses who I've encountered. You always made me feel confident that I was in good hands. It was nice feeling assured that I'd be taken care of when I had needs. You never made me feel like a burden. You have a great big heart for the work you do and for the people you help.
Olivea Nicholson
The Littleton Hospital staff was friendly and helpful. They made sure I knew what was going to take place during my procedure. Also what the recovery should look like. Would definitely go back

My husband was here several day seriously ill, was given the best of care , best of staff we ever experienced. Cannot thank RN Kim B. On 4th floor, compassionate, caring , made my husband laugh and smile thru tough time, THE best 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️ …
Catherine Cordoue
Julie at registration was friendly, professional and efficient, as were Haylie and Michelle who directed me and initiated my appointment. Anita administered my vaccine beautifully. It couldn’t have gone better or been easier for me. Thank you, Littleton!
Janet Prost
The nurses were efficient, knowledgeable and professional. I felt very cared for and secure which meant a lot as it was the first time I had ever had to be hospitalized. I also had confidence in my doctors (surgeon, anesthesiologist). Everything was explained to me and I knew exactly what to expect. I would definitely recommend this hospital.
Nancy Romberg
What a great group of nurses! Lynn, Michelle, and others were. They were each so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. I was treated professionally and with compassion during my pre-op, surgery, and recovery. Thanks so much ladies for this experience. I hope I'm not back soon 🤪, as I'm sure everyone says, but if I would need to, I have the utmost confidence in Dr Watson and every nurse, anesthesiologist, and admin person. Thanks again!
June Wiegert
Nurses at Littleton are the best. Really, all personnel. We were treated with such kindness. And everyone made sure we understood what was happening each step of the way. (I had surgery). Special shout-out to Maryann in pre-op and Kresha (not sure if spelling is right) in post-op. It really couldnot have been better. I'm sure there are more who could be mentioned, but I'm not remembering many details. But it was probably the best hospital experience I have had.
Kayla Billman
Great nurses and medical team! So friendly, professional and compassionate. I had a great experience with my surgery, Dr. Varnay is the best!!
Kim Wood
My 90-year-old grandma was brought to the Littleton ER last night after she fell having some kind of cardiac or syncope event. The doctors we had were great, very empathetic, compassionate, thorough in explaining everything along the way. Our nurse on the other hand has a few things to learn about basic kindness. A little compassion goes a long way.
Carol Manning
I had a great experience receiving both of the Covid 19 injections at Littleton Adventist Hospital. The staff was very organized and made it super easy for patients. The staff was friendly and professional.
StrictlyUSA
Hey Everyone. I feel I am well qualified to leave a review of the ER as I made 3 trips in less than a week. Prepatellar bursitis and a knee the size of a small grapefruit! This is one the best ER's around--usually very quick to be seen , treated and released. They have a really good team in there and I was treated very well. They were patient and caring and they took time to discuss my injury, prognosis and treatment options. My 3rd visit was my best one--the PA Tim Hersch was excellent and did a fine job draining my knee, another gal made me a sturdy splint and nurse Alexis discussed my follow up care. The were professional, yet had a sense of humor which doesn't hurt under the circumstances.
It's a drag having to go to the ER and if you do, I would recommend this one. My girlfriend was seen here for a kidney stone and they did great by her as well.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all of the Littleton Adventist ER STAFF for all of your hard work and efforts. A tough job during a very challenging time. Sincerely, Alex (Jandro).
Angela Langowski
Getting my vaccines was low stress and very efficient at Littleton Adventist Hospital. I went there a few minutes early both times and it wasnt busy. The people who helped were very helpful and friendly!
Drew Chitiea
A head injury the day before Christmas required a Christmas afternoon admission and 3-day stay. Personnel were professional, competent and uncomplaining about holiday duty. Treatment was timely and status reports were presented in understandable manner. First time stay for me - quality of care upon arrival (driven in by friend as I was non compus mentus) was superb; quick and easy, seeing doctor a short time later.
All-in-all, considering the circumstances, a good experience. Strongly recommended.
Larry Long
I arrived with the COVID Delta variant and viral and bacterial pneumonia

They never failed to keep me in apprised of what was happening and why
Specifically thanks to nurses

The ladies that did my echocardiogram and stress test were awesome! I like to have fun, make jokes- keep it interesting and fun- while neither one of these tests is usually described as fun.... it was great! Kind of an Expensive work out... but Overall- 10 out of 10 recommended these girls if you need these test done. Thank you Ladies!

Wasn't sure what procedure was. Told how long.. need to explain better whats going on to patient. Sitting in waiting room 98 percent of time for visit could brought a book or not had someone drive m e to pick me up 5 hrs later

My son was in a motorcycle accident so we called Littleton and let them know we were on our way to the hospital. We arrived very quickly and there was a team waiting for us outside the ER. They rushed him and assessed him and gave him fantastic care. He had several broken ribs and other bones as well as a collapsed lung. He was attended by a wonderful staff of doctors and nurses. He had X-rays and a CT scan right away and was cleaned up and prepped for a chest tube for the collapsed lung. He spent the night in the hospital a couple of nights and went home on the third day. He had such great care around the clock, was checked on often for pain management and general care. I was allowed to stay in the room overnight and was treated with the utmost care and comfort also. After we left the hospital we had a question about the cleaning of one of the wounds and Dr. Kim called back personally. I am very impressed with Littleton Adventist hospital and all the staff. If ever needed I plan on going to Littleton for all my medical needs and care.

In a nutshell Littleton Adventist Hospital saved my life. Feel incredibly fortunate I ended up there when my medical emergency occurred. Besides excellent in-hospital care the followup with visiting nurses have been incredibly helpful. After a major surgery and 11 days in hospital had the opportunity to interact with many departments. From doctors, nurses, CNA's, RT's, lab, nursing students, dietary, custodial, case managers, wound care specialist, pastoral, volunteers, etc. all made positive impressions of themselves and hospital they worked for. Can't say enough good things!
Sandy Chamness
They were very nice and professional! Although it was not the easiest procedure they made it a good experience! The Doctor explained everything she was doing as she went along which made it a lot more comfortable!
Paula Brungardt
I had knee replacement surgery, the entire staff was amazing, took excellent care the entire time. They explained everything before and after, made the day less stressful. Thank you all!
Lee's Floor Service
Everyone, from the staff to the nurses to the doctor were awesome. The nursing staff was top notch. I've unfortunately been to a lot of hospitals lately and Littleton is far the best. Good job everyone!

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! I can't say enough good things about this place and the staff within. We delivered our baby boy 2/23/19, 6 weeks early, because during an emergency room visit, they gathered the evidence that I needed to deliver the placenta and also the baby. They took care of me, were compassionate, and truly cared about me, my husband, my son, and the loss of our original birth plan. They saved my life and my son's and I am forever grateful. Now our son is in Nicu and that team is amazing as well. They are so supportive and I know he is in good hands.

We were surprised to see the 3 star rating on average for Littleton. My wife gave birth here, and the nurses in the women baby unit were absolutely outstanding. They made sure my wife was comfortable post surgery, and helped ensure she was aware of best practices for our newborn baby. We got lots of attention, and Roni was by far our best nurse. Her compassion, empathy, and dedication was unsurpassed. We couldn’t be more grateful for her expert care. I’d definitely say she deserves employee of the quarter! Please pass along our feedback. We will definitely be coming back for our second born!

The medical treatment was fine, but the billing was a nightmare. I went in for super high blood pressure. My insurance was screwed up because when i went to pay for two separate months, the insurance company billed my credit card, not once for the total amount, but twice, once for each of the two months. My credit card fraud protect kicked in and rejected the second payment as a duplicate. I went to this hospital the month that the second payment would have covered. Suddenly the hospital wanted me to pay about $26,000 out of pocket instead of the $6,000 that would have been billed through my insurance company. I had no idea that an overnight visit could cost $26,000. I was so fearful that I'd lose my home that my blood pressure went right back to where it was when I entered the hospital. In other words, the high hospital billing caused the same health problem that it had treated me for. This netted out to no health gain at all. If I hadn't gone to the hospital, I'd be in the same position. Fortunately, when I called my insurance company (Anthem Blue Cross) it was willing to accept very late payment for that month and it also paid the $6,000 hospital bill. After that, when I got super high BP a few times, I sat in a very hot bath to lower it, due to my fear of being killed off by a combination of the hospital, my insurance and my credit card company. I was lucky this first time, but I worried that something could go drastically wrong yet again. Then I got serious double lung pneumonia and the urgent care doc told me to go to the hospital. I refused and went home where I sat on oxygen for a month. I just couldn't deal with the stress associated with going to the hospital. A doctor relative told me that staying home was really stupid as I could die. Fortunately, I survived and I avoided deadly hospital germs and billing departments.
Kristin Snow
Nurses here were great. However, we had some disappointing experiences, including the anesthesiologist answering his phone twice while explaining DNR practices to my very nervous 88-year mother before her endoscopy; staff moving her to her room after the procedure without the doctor coming and talking to me, leaving me to wait in the waiting room with no word (I finally had to go looking for her); and when I went to pick her up for release from the hospital, she’d been left alone in the lobby. I’ve never picked up a patient anywhere where the patient wasn’t safely escorted to the vehicle via wheelchair. Considering she was admitted with low oxygen levels and labored breathing, and it was dark out, this was especially concerning.

I was the first in line, filled out my paper

The nurses were great and made me super comfortable considering it was my first time having any surgery and I was panicking. I love all the staff there for being so helpful and nice.
Katie Wickham
My Mom was at this hospital to have stents. Dr. Erkiri is a wonderful cardiologist and his staff are so sweet and wonderful with their patients.
Jennifer (head nurse) on the cardiologist floor went above her duty! She came to my Moms room after her shift ended and sit with her to watch her wrist to make sure her artery wasn't bleeding for 3 hrs. A special thank you to her, but everyone was very kind and caring!!!
Robin McGlone

Getting the COVID a vaccination at Littleton Adventist was quick and so easy. I did have a problem setting up an account in the patient portal. I called the number I had received in an email from my school district and got help from a person. They have the vaccination process set up to get people in and out quickly. Thanks!

We would highly recommend Littleton for baby delivery! :)

Denver Oncology is the absolute best place to go if you need a Radiation Oncologist. From the moment you step into the office, from the reception to the nurse to Dr. Darlene Bugosi, everyone is so kind, positive and helpful. Dr. Bugosi is very thorough and knowledgeable. She explains everything in laymen’s terms. I felt very comfortable and in good hands with everyone.
Kayla Peeples

I recently had a scheduled surgery at Littleton Adventist. It required an overnight stay and I was on the same floor as the OB patients. My entire experience was excellent. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the nursing staff that cared for me during my stay, from pre op to discharge. Outstanding!
jolee gallegos
Dr Bugosi always takes the time to listen to my concerns, does her due diligence to check my skin, and always makes me feel that my well-being is important to her. I trust her, and I’m thankful that she is apart of my care team.

I was brought in on a recommendation from urgent care littleton. I found out I had infection in my appendix and had to have emergency surgery to get it removed. Littleton hospital and their surgeons did an excellent job of keeping me safe during and after the surgery. Great experience and if I ever have any medical issues I will be returning here. Great nurses and great doctors. Was in and out after 24hrs roughly.
Allison Essig
This was a truly wonderful experience I had. The nursing staff in the birth place was fantastic! The care I received during labor and after delivery was exceptional! By far this was the best stay I’ve ever had at any hospital.
JoelM
Back in February, I visited the ER at Littleton Adventist for a health issue. I found the ER staff to be very responsive and helpful. I truly appreciate the quality of care they provided me at that time.
I provided the hospital with a three star rating because they had to transfer me to another hospital for care because they had a shortage of nurses. They first told me they didn't have any empty beds but later changed the story to say it was a nursing shortage. As a result of the shortage, I was was transferred to another local hospital and ended up acquirring a sizeable ambulance bill.
Of course, when you need emergency care, you don't think to call a hospital to see if they have enough beds or nurses.
Bradley Carver
Scheduled Covid booster vaccine quickly and efficiently in Epic MyChart. Check in for vaccine was quick and efficient. Fantastic experience, overall. Thank you, Centura and Littleton Adventist Hospital.
Jean McHarge
Dr Thomas and Littleton Hospital were great. Very thorough in providing information about the surgery and pain management. I had surgery at 9 am and went home around 4:00.
Chuck Allor
Everyone was extremely helpful and caring both before and after my surgery. I could not have asked for a more competent staff and everything happened on time.
Marsha Gilbert
Scott is knowledgeable, patient and kind. He gives clear instructions and explains what each exercise does for the health of the body. I enjoy my PT sessions and am feeling stronger and having much more ease of movement.
devyn mccarty
I had a laparoscopy here on Friday and got the best treatment I've ever had for any surgery. The two nurses that stood out the most to me were Sherri L. (I think it was Sherri) and Lisa was my nurse in recovery. They both were so kind and made sure I was as comfortable as could be. Unfortunately I don't remember everyone's names, but the woman who helped Lisa in recovery, my anesthesiologists and all of the other people I encountered were so wonderful to me. I didn't feel anxious at all and knew going in to it I was in good hands. Thank you all so much!!! Hopefully I won't need anymore surgeries, but if I do I'll be sure to have them at Littleton.

Just took an elderly family member in for a procedure. Very disappointed with the registration desk and the process. The two ladies, one at the front desk and the other who actually did the registration showed no compassion or enthusiasm, It was almost as though they did not want to be there. This is very scary time for my family member, and you would think that the people that are the first to interact with customers would be happy, supportive and positive.
On a good note. We were very happy with the Nurse once they called us back. Too bad the the front desk person and the registration person missed the memo.
Barb Silverman
I received my 1st. Covid19 vaccination today. Very well organized, ran very smoothly with proper separation for all.
It was also very exciting for me to get my vaccination!
Thank you Littleton Adventist Hospital.

My husband came here with a very bad case of pneumonia. I couldn't of asked for a better team to take care of him. They saved his life and didnt give up . The nurses and docs in the ICU where amazing in the care they gave him. Bailey one of the nurses went above and beyond to get my husband off sedation and got the breathing tubes out of him. They have been very attentive and caring to not only my husband but to me and his family. I cant thank this icu team enough for the care my husband through all of this. If I had to choose a hospital or would be this one.
Shannon Capozzi
I had the unfortunate event of being a patient but Dr. Viscardi was nothing but compassionate and professional with great bedside manner during a tough time in my life. My nurse Lindsey, in the ED, was also very kind and professional. Being an RN myself, I make a terrible patient but I came to LAH because I know and trust what kind of staff I will encounter. Thanks for taking great care of one of your own during a difficult time.
Mary Johnson
Was very pleased with the care and attention to detail concerning my procedure…everything was explained clearly and concisely…all my questions were answered..the nurses made me feel comfortable and safe..especially Lenny who was my guardian angel…the Dr was very professional and kept a one way conversation of everything that he was doing…this alleviated any of my anxiety ..all in all I am pleased with my hospital experience..
Neem
Had a great experience at this location. All of the staff were kind and friendly. They also got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time for my procedure. Everything went smoothly and I have no complaints. Great job!

So this is going to be long. But I think this is important for patients and for providers. Let’s revisit an important topic: how cystine stones are different from other types of kidney stones.
Distinct from other types of kidney stones, cystine stones are often larger, harder, more frequent, and more difficult to pass—often requiring surgery to remove. Calcium, uric acid, and struvite stones are smaller than cystine stones, may occur less frequently than cystine stones, and in some cases, these more common kidney stones can be prevented altogether through lifestyle changes.
Having a proven verifiable genetic kidney disorder called cystinuria which I have suffered from childhood onwards and have notes and tests and labs for urologist and nephrologists. I originally was diagnosed in New Hampshire through a kidney specialist at Dartmouth.
Because cystinuria is a genetic disease, the risk of cystine stone formation NEVER goes away. Even when people with cystinuria report “feeling fine,” it is nothing compared to what a normal person would find as an acceptable level of pain. Having good relationships within the healthcare community is so important and not taking out your pain on providers but also advocating for your position and human right to not be in pain. We are in the 21st century and no one should be forced to agonize in pain. Whether the pain is very obvious like a broken arm or less obvious Cancer or kidney stones.
So specific to my visit. Let me first say everyone was so nice and professional upon check in. I very much like this hospital. They were very busy but I waited two hours before my first attempt at managing my pain happened. My nurse Heather was very kind and was very busy. I know she was in my court. But I had a PA named Ryan Howe, PA-C. He was always pleasant but as most PA’s I have ever experienced they are extremely conservative with pain management. PA’s are usually men they only seem interested in like trauma and personally been historically always my worst experiences. My BF is a NP hospitalist at an ER in Massachusetts and my aunt an Er nurse in NJ so I hear about the challenges, drug seekers and demanding rude people. So I always always always am polite and try to be stoic with my pain. Sometimes I think if I cried and cursed I may get further. But nonetheless I was given 4 mg of morphine sulfate which peaks in 5-10 minutes but lasts about 2-3 hours. 4 mg when you have a lifelong history of taking pain medicine is nothing most especially when you are passing a large stone. I have been passing this stone for the last 5 days. When I first noticed the pain I was hoping I would pass it without hospital. I went to the hydration clinic in wash park and paid 99 bucks for a bag of fluids with zofran and toradol (basically IV Advil) I had a cocktail and hoped I would pass it that night. I dealt with the pain. When I couldn’t deal with it any longer I went to ER by my Airbnb listing and they gave me 20 5 mg percosets. The directions say to take them every 4-6 hours 1 or 2 as needed for pain. So between picking up the script and my stay today at Littleton Adventist I had my script for 3-1/2 days approximately 84 hrs. So 20 pills divided by 84 hrs is less than one pill every 4 hrs when in fact I was taking two pills every 4-8 hours. So I ran out and couldn’t handle the pain. Basically I had 100mgs for 84 hrs so I averaged about 1.5 mg per hour. Totally reasonable.
Cystine stones are caused by a genetic disorder not lifestyle. My issue with Ryan Howe was he wanted to discharge me after about 4 1/2 hours with only 4 mg of morphine. He judgmentally told me I had a script last week. I explained I did not that it had been used as directed and he said he would not be doing anymore so I had to advocate for myself and he then gave me an oral dose of Percocet. Luckily I passed the stone there at the very end. But had I not he had no problem discharging me with 193/123 BP with pain of 7 reported and no ability to deal with pain at home. This unacceptable and unprofessional.

2nd Moderna shot was a breeze. showed up for appt this morning and was taken right in and given my shot. Very efficient vaccination team in place here. Total time including mandatory 15 min waiting period was 25 minutes

Jackie Farley
The doctors and nurses, CNP, etc were excellent. From the moment I came into the emergency room, admitted to the hospital for observation, to discharge, I received excellent care.
John Fisher
Came into the ER for a numb shoulder that started to go down into my bicep and forearm. Seen very quickly, the nurse that was working with me was in my room already waiting, my PA was in within 20 minutes, was in xray within 30 minutes, EKG done within 15 minutes. All clear and they gave me what they thought it was. Great service, fast service, and all questions answered.
Suzanne Fey-Gaiser
Excellent hospital. I was in a serious car accident in 2097 and am so grateful for the care I received. My mom just had a hip replacement on 7/03/17, and had excellent care. I don't know why anyone would choose to go to one of the "pop-up" hospitals when Littleton Adventist is so close.
Tiffany Kinder
We have used Littleton Adventist's ER twice in the past couple of years - once for an adult with diverticulitis and once for an infant with fever. Both times the ER staff, nurses and doctors were just wonderful. We were always taken immediately to a room or bed, had immediate treatment and review with a nurse, and had a doctor (or two) come within 10 minutes. We didn't wait for hours to be discharged. Compared to some other ERs I have had to sit in, this is ER nirvana. The nurses are very attentive and caring. Doctors were great, no unnecessary testing, just got done what needed to be done for proper diagnoses. Highly recommend Littleton Adventist's ER if you have to go to one.

This hospital saved my sister in-laws life and her newborn daughter. I have never seen an entire hospital come together the way that LAH did to keep them alive. So many departments were involved in their care and the quick responses from each of them is what saved their lives. I am eternally grateful to this hospital for keeping my family whole. Thank you all so much!
Cathy Rosenberg

I had to go to the ER for intense abdominal pain related to diverticulitis. I was seen by a nurse almost immediately. The nurses (Mike and Dionne), doctor (Elliott), and other staff were excellent! My pain was managed very quickly, CT scan done in a timely and professional manner, and attention was given to me whenever I asked. They answered all my questions and explained my diagnosis and treatment plan clearly and professionally. The CT results arrived within 20 minutes of the procedure! All my test results are available online for when we travel (important!). There was a minor mix up in billing but clearly, the MEDICAL aspect was handled extremely well, so the billing issue was insignificant at best. Unfortunately, I've seen the inside of Emergency Rooms at other hospitals nationwide (Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Central IL), and none were better than Littleton Adventist.
Lindsay Sullivan
The nurses and staff were super friendly. They make the visit as comfortable as possible. Most amazing nurses ever.
Nancy Norton

Rich Levin
Had a nuclear stress test scheduled and was full of anxiety. Nurses were very informative and helped immensely.
A top notch hospital.
Jim Remley
Emergency room - fast immediate response - and then long long waits. Information about the customer (they call them patients) some was easy sometimes no one knew what was happening. Sometimes hard to find people and often forgot to deliver on promises - cold compress, medication for headache, and to stop that monitor that alarmed for hours.
Had to be transported to another hospital - ambulance ride was bad.
Patrick Kinney
Had a knee replacement on Feb. 9, went extremely well. Came back for the left knee on Apr. 1. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional.

Every single staff member from the folks in the hall to kitchen to RNs, CNAs, PT/OT, surgical staff, office folks and I've even had visits from leadership, greets you with a smile and salutation. Those in direct rolls take time with you and nail the business of medical care, and offer extra time for deeper conversation to build a relationship surrounding that care. Knowledgeable, excellent communications mechanisms & execution, and the food is fast to the room and very good. Facilities are fabulous and moving into the future. Can't say enough. Like being cared for by loving family members in nearly 4 star hotel quality surroundings.
