It is never fun being in a hospital. The personnel did their best to make me comfortable. They were professional and considerate. Everyone left the room asking if they could do anything for me. I believe the tests were performed as quickly as possible. My treatment was superior and I received outstanding care. The nursing staff took personal interest in getting my lab work efficiently done so that I could be discharged and return to my home state. I live in Tennessee. I was disappointed to see the average rating for this hospital and I believe under the current administration the rating will improve to above average soon.

My dearest 5th floor: My mom has been on the fifth floor of Doctors Hospital for ten days now. I have spent 22 hours a day with her for eight of the ten days. I cannot express my gratitude for the fifth floor staff. She has had at least ten different nurses, and the same number of PSAs. ALL of them treated my mom so well, with SO much patience. I know they are doing their job, but I saw people going above and beyond to help my mom and me. Thank you for the love, care, and even hugs I received. I have Stage 4 cancer. Going through chemo and radiation treatments. I had gotten pretty sick with infections and dehydration. I actually live across the street from a major hospital. However, I have been to Doctors West before (and the hospital across the street). And As sickly as I was I chose to go from Grove City to Galloway to Doctors. I had experienced the care before and it was far better than the hospital across the street. While at Doctors, I was treated with the most kindest and gentlest human beings of ANY hospital I have ever gone to in my life! After being admitted, everyone who came in contact with me was caring and attentive. The food was 5 star! I could not have felt cared for any better. I simply cannot say enough about my care at Doctors. I’ve had two ER visits and 2 admitted in a matter of months. As I was still shaken from finding out that I had cancer, the staff from EVERY department had gone far and above to make me comfortable and bring me back to health. I am especially appreciative of floors 2 and 4! Thank you Doctors so much🫂🫂👏.

I have mixed reviews on this place, for the most important reason my mother passed in this hospital 23 yes ago, she went to the ER the day before, she was told to go home with a chest cold and Tylenol 3, she was rushed to the ER the next morning and was then put on life support and that day passed away, I felt like it was their fault, they could’ve done more the day before. But on the other hand I had my baby there 5 years and it was amazing, the best nurses and doctors ever!! So again mixed reviews both good and bad.

I fell down my stairs and laid on the landing for four days. My emergency contact was my oldest daughter who decided she didn't want to respond and left me on the floor for four days. On the fifth day with no food or water and after screaming and crying out for days, my next door neighbor took thought for me and called an ambulance. I was taken to Doctor's West and the emergency room staff were SO KIND AND COMPASSIONATE. They were amazing! I got up on tfloor after having nothing to eat or drink for days and the first nurse was the nurse from hell and the rest were so wonderful

ER care was great! I was in and out quickly and the nurses and doctors were all attentive and pleasant. Hopefully I never have to go to the emergency room again. But if I do I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this one.

I’ve been to this ER many times and I’ve always had a good experience. I was treated kindly and efficiently, I was listened to well by all of the staff, and I believe that the doctors here really spent time making sure they found out what problems I was having and how to best fix them. I was treated fairly for pain thankfully and was given appropriate pain medicine after one of my accidents. I will always choose this ER over Riverside!

Early 12/9 I was feeling very ill and dizzy with Vertigo. My neighbor took me to the Ohio Health Clinic in Reynoldsburg. Because of bed availability I was transported to Doctors West. The nicest Doctors and staff went to work and “fixed” me so well that I went home Sunday….the meals were delicious as well. Thank you all again. Stephen Harrison

Last night I took my daughter to the emergency room, I wish I had caught every last nurse, doctor, technition, people who we've encountered. I want to publicly thank you for helping Vi with her broken arm from ice skating and casting it. One nurse even sang with my daughter while they were making her cast. You all did an amazing job! My other daughter had her cast from trying to be a hero and those nurses did such a great job. The staff here made my kids feel special, I love you all, thank you!

It was on December 14th that I came to the E.R. here and it was because of kidney problems. Had a problem with the security guard on first shift acting towards me like I was an inmate and I was in jail. It was a long wait due to hospital was understaffed. The wait was worth it though. The medical assistants, nurses, medical technicians, radiology technicians and doctors were very good and helpful. They ask good questions, the take the time to listen and make sure they understand what's wrong and why you came. They were patient and took the time to explain things to the best of their ability and to where you the patient could understand. Along with that I felt comfortable and safe in the emergency room and saw that they cared and understood what was wrong and wanted to do everything possible to help me. I am also with reason to believe that if the patient's condition was serious and or life threatening, they would've wasted no time in getting that patient in.

Came into ED with severe kidney stone pain on 5/29 and ended up getting admitted and having to have surgery done everyone from ED staff to my whole care team and surgeon were phenomenal and made sure I had the best care possible during my stay . Doctors hospital was there for me when I really needed it. I had been to the ED a few times in the past and each time everyone was wonderful.

I was on floor 5 room 520 and I had to get surgery to get my appendix removed, and I can say I’ve never felt more comfortable and taken care of. Your team of nurses, doctors and surgeons are some of the most professional and kind people I’ve ever met. You guys did everything in your power to make sure I was comfortable and my pain was properly managed. The nurses were very attentive and helpful, talkative and reassuring. The doctors were very informative and relatable and did everything they could for me, and the surgeons, Dr caustic to be exact, did a splendid job at my appendix removal and so did his team at informing me about the surgery and how the anesthesia works, and being very reassuring about the odds of mishaps. I hope I receive some sort of mail from you guys to give an official review about you all so everyone who helped me tonight can get recognition for being outstanding at their job. I had a severe allergic reaction yesterday and ran into the hospital crying my eyes out, I have to say , I have been to osu , which was a terrible experience and many other places and doctors west took such good care of me. The best actually. They treated me with respect, concern, and tried their best to make me comfortable in such a scary moment for myself. I went back and the doctors and nurses where already waiting for me in the room, they immediately started care. I just want to thank this hospital for all they did for me yesterday. I wish the nurses names where on my paperwork but their not🥺 john Randolph Casey is , and if he sees this I want him to let all the others know how thankful i am for the care i received. I was so distraught walking in there, and left feeling so much better. This hospital is amazing. 5 stars.

I just recently had a major heart attack the response and care I received no doubtly saved my life. All of the doctors, nurses, pca's, ect. You can tell they really care. The ER was amazingly prompt as I didn't realize how bad of a situation I was in and the 6th floor staff and the entire cardio unit was incredible. Thank you I wouldn't be here without you

Just had a procedure done today & I was SO beyond nervous I almost left but I had the most amazing doctor, Doctor S Kapoor who did the procedure & Ryan was the first name on the anesthesiologist I think is what he does & They took the time & Listened to my concerns & Gave me something for anxiety , Answered EVERY question no matter how silly & Was all around AMAZING ! The nurses that were with me before hand and in recovery absolutely FANTASTIC! They eased EVERY one of my fears didn’t make me feel bad for how freaked out I was. Definitely will be going back!!!

Delivered our first here just a few days ago and felt so well-cared for! From inpatient orders, nursing care, and monitoring for me and baby, to labor, anesthesiology, and lactation consultation—-we were so pleased with the level of medicine and care we received. We were not only in capable hands, but kind ones. Couldn’t thank our medical team enough for the wealth of knowledge shared with us as new parents, as well as the wonderful bedside manner.

Went in on a Tuesday around noon, they were not busy, I didn't have to wait in a waiting area, they took me straight to a room. The nurse was caring, listened to my issues, and very informative about how to care for my injury. They were quick, they ran some tests, ruled out the more serious concerns, and I got my results back and it was nothing too serious and I was able to go on my way and I'm starting to feel better, the pain I've been enduring from the torn muscle in my side is almost gone, still hurts to sneeze. By the way I was on my way home within just a few hours, I normally don't like hospitals due to the fact it normally takes 3-4 hours just to be seen, if you see me in a hospital that means I'm in a lot of pain. Thank you to the staff for their care and services!

The staff really cared bout me and my problems. At one time I soiled myself and nurse Brian made sure I had clean cloths. Yes I will pay it forward YOU guys are great. Thank you

People upfront are really rude. But they were able to squeeze me in for an MRI, and for that I was grateful. The real star was Fardowa was exceptionally warm and helpful, one of the nicest health professionals I’ve seen in years! She gets 5 stars!

This is absolutely the most phenomenal Emergency Room!! Even when extremely beyond busy they take the time to talk to patients, to evaluate the situation and they are completely thorough in testing and treatment. They treat patients like fellow human beings instead of room numbers and are friendly, empathetic and they care. I think every hospital in this nation could learn from this place!! The medical staff at this hospital all deserve medals of excellence, each and every one of them.

In for testing. Immediately processed in, less than 10 minutes I was ushered to the lab for test, was done and headed to my car within 20 minutes.

We were upset to hear that my dad was being transferred to Doctor's Hospital instead of Riverside (mid-January). We are from Ashland and no one in the family had ever heard of Doctor's Hospital. As it turns out, Doctor's Hospital was a true gift from God to our family. My dad was in there for about 8-9 days I believe. He started in the ICU for 2 1/2 days, then on 6th floor for a week. Drs. Silver and Ezeneke were awesome. And every nurse and aide we dealt with was so nice, so encouraging, so accommodating. We are so appreciative of the staff there. My dad has subsequently recovered and is doing well at home now. And we have so much to be thankful for -- thankful for the part that Doctor's Hospital played in his care and recovery.

I arrived to Doctors West at 4:30am in SEVERE right side back pain by ambulance. I thought I had a kidney stone. I was seen by the ER doctor and nurses within seconds and I was administered pain medication immediately. The doctor ordered a abdominal CT but then overheard me saying I couldn't breathe and also ordered a chest ct. I was taken to CT within 30 minutes and an hour after arriving I found out I had blood clots in both lungs. I was started on the appropriate medications and admitted immediately. I spent 5 days in the cardiac step down unit. Every single one of my nurses and Doctors I saw were fabulous. Doctors saved my life. I have had a few crappy experiences here but in a true emergency this hospital came through.

I have been here twice recently. Everyone was incredibly kind. I want to highlight some nurses and Doctors in the Labor and Delivery ward. Jenilee and Brandy were so kind to me. They treated me with such respect even after we found out I was not in preterm labor. Dr. Sefton was also amazing. He made me feel comforted and not like a bother. I need to find a way for corporate to see this!! Thank you!!!

This hospital saved my mother's life and I am extremely grateful for it. After a nightmare ordeal of a different ER refusing my mother care in London, Ohio , we came here. They immediately took care of her in the very serious condition she was in and got her back to being my chipper mom. They treat Covid patients like real people who just happen to be sick and not like people who have "the plague " or something. My mother was very satisfied with her care, and they treated her exceptionally well. As a matter of fact we are switching over to the doctor who treated her here because we were very impressed with the quality of care. From what my mother said they also have a mean strawberry shortcake....might want to look into that while you're there. Lol

I got excellent care here. Very friendly staff. Went in because we noticed that my leg was larger than average, and I am prone to getting clots. This was the only hospital that had a technician working for the doppler scan. Of course they found 1 and they put me on heparin IV for 2 days.

They took my husband in the back immediately due to his chest pains. They diagnosed his pneumonia which turned sepsis. The nurses was wonderful on the 6th floor and all his doctors gave him great care. Im not from this state, we travel due to his work and this hospital was amazing. We was very satisfied with his care.

2 weeks ago today I gave birth to my son while I was 20 weeks. I got into the ER really fast but tht was because I had him in my car. The nurses were OK but none of them knew how to draw blood. I still have big brusies all over my arms and hands from them trying multiple times to draw blood. Because of them the very first view of my baby that I had was him in a bucket on my lap. They treated him as if he was trash instead of my son. My experience got a lot better once I was transferred to the maternity wing. I was able to hold him for the entire time I was there, they even took his footprints and gave me a blanket with a hat and booties for him. The ER is horrible. But I had a good experience after I got moved. They also told me that he would be picked up and taken to the funeral home the next day. He didn't get released until almost a week later.

Wonderful experience here while having my son! The nurses and doctors were incredible. They took care of my every need and treated myself, my boyfriend and our new son just like family. I've also been seen here in the ER and the lab and have never had a poor experience.

No issues with the care given but the want to be cop with the blonde crew cut working in the ER entrance is rude. He thinks he's working in a correction facility. It's just a matter of time before he's rude to the wrong person and gets smacked in the mouth.

I had my tubes tied 6 years ago at a different Hospital. Found out a week or two ago that I was pregnant. Came to the emergency room at Doctors West and they got to the bottom of what was going on faster than my OBGYN wood. Thank goodness because it was a tubal pregnancy and they got me in for surgery super super fast. I've never had a problem with this Hospital and would always Trust them with me or my kids

I love the hospital I have had two heart attacks and they saved my life. The last time putting a Stent in , I ended up with a wonderful Cardiologist from Doctors Hospital. I have had my mammogram there and have been very pleased with the staff each time that I have been there. I commend you all thank you for everything you have done for me.

Went into surgery today with Dr. Patel staff was very professional and very comforting. Wanting to give a huge thank you to the recovery staff especially Ellie Suzy, she was a huge help and showed all of 45 years experience! My dad was brought here with A FIB as his primary concern and he was a patient on the 6th floor for a week. Once they got the A FIB under control, he was treated for pneumonia, sepsis, a UTI and some wacky blood sugar levels. My brother and I took turns staying day and night the first 5 days and daily for the last two. My father also has dementia. We were treated with exceptional care by every person from the cleaning ladies to the nurses, doctor, nutrition specialist, therapy specialists and everyone in between. They brought me supplies so I could shower there. They kept his room clean and came whenever we called. Tim was great!

I have taken myself and family members here and I would always come here first. They are friendly, knowledgeable and less busy than other ER’s because they are not a trauma center. Perfect for a broken bone or illness. For emergencies they can’t handle transferring to a trauma centers are easy and you get care will you wait. I Highly recommend this ER.

I was at the ER on 9/22 with my daughter who had been injured in a car accident. Dr. Evans and Dr. Grenier were awesome treating her severely broken wrist. Nurses Hannah and Tiffany couldn't have been better. As good as they were I think the coolest part of the night was when a security guard, last name Hogan, gave my 1 year old grandson one of his cartons of chocolate milk. He stopped to talk to us and asked if he was allowed to have it. Thanks to all of them.

My mother in law was brought to the ER and her nurse Lorene was the sweetest most attentive nurse that I have ever seen. She was in the room 95% of the time making sure my mother in law was comfortable and taken care of.

I always go to OhioHealth Doctors Hospital not only because it is nearest to my home but also has the kindest staff. I always come here whenever me or my family has a medical problem. People in the ER are the warmest ever, they always treat me like a priority no matter how minor my medical condition is.

To: Doctor's Hospital Staff, specially Dr. Massullo and the WONDERFUL staff on 5th floor English is not my first language, please keep that in mind when reading this review. There are no words to describe our experience during the six days my elderly mom was hospitalized. Thank you does not seem enough. 1- Doctor Massulo and assistant doctors: thank you for coming to check on my mom every day. You were always pleasant, and never gave her the impression of being in a hurry. 2- Nurses on 5th floor: You were the BEST. You always came in the room with a happy disposition, you were always gentle, careful with mom, and ALL (every single one of you) had a little time to listen to one of her little stories. 3- Assistant nurses, kitchen crew, cleaning ladies: your have a hard job, but every time you came in mom's room, you were happy, efficient,... thank you for keeping my mom so comfortable, and keeping her room so clean. I wish I could give it a 10 star! I went to the ER and was seen quickly (it was around 1 PM) and every single person I encountered was very nice and professional. I would recommended this ER to anyone. Hats off to you folks and thanks for the best care I have ever encountered in an ER.

ER staff are friendly and courteous. The door to doctor time was only 5 minutes. The doctor was knowledagble and friendly, as well as prompt with treatment. 4 stars due to long wait time between visits for updates. Place is clean and has security at ER entrance.

Angie the registration lady omg sweet as pie! she had that Mother's welcome I'm mean everybody was great I'm in the ER and never felt like I had to have insurance or not they treated you equal! That's all that matters

Everybody on staff was amazing. I had a large laceration to my leg and they were very nice to me, making it as pleasant as possible for how much pain I was in. I would go here for anything and any problem. I'm very grateful for the way they handled everything and treated me.

on 10/26/2015 I had an accident on Norton Road at Broad St. A wonderful young lady assisted me and waited with me until the squad arrived.
