Excellent Emergency Room. Dr Jordan tops. Nursing staff in ER excellent. There were constant challenges with Security who let you in to hospital. Security woman to ER was rude and disrespectful. Unpleasant. However, medical care is excellent.

I had to go to the emergency room 2 days ago I had to call 911 the firefighters showed up first and they were amazing and took care of me then the ambulance showed up and they took wonderful care of me. When I got to the hospital I didn't have to wait they put me in a room right away. The doctor who took care of me was an amazing man who wants above and beyond for me to make sure that I was okay and I wanted to thank him kyle j Marrone MD Can oostendoro PA-C. They treated me so well and showed me so much compassion. I mean they took such good care of me and made sure everything was okay with me because I have arthritis in scoliosis and I had fallen down my stairs. When I was ready to get discharged the doctor asked me if I had a way home I told him yes I have my debit card on me he said no no let me get you a taxi voucher I could not believe that he did something like that for me even though I had my debit card on me. He is an amazing emergency room doctor who makes people feel like they're human beings and that they matter. Thank you so much again Dr Kyle for what you did for me.

I have Lymphedema. I have been treated by Dave Federline at Good Samaritan for several months. I was diagnosed at the Mayo Clinic, and they developed a treatment plan that required an at home therapist to work with me, following their general model. Dave agreed to do it, even though it was unlike his usual model of treatment. I cannot say enough good things about him.. He was flexible, collaborative, respectful, and highly competent!. Lymphedema is of course incurable. However, with Dave’s help, mine is sufficiently controlled, it has almost no impact on my quality of life. I am deeply grateful, and would recommend him to anyone!!!

I had the best experience today at the ER. I came with an ambulance and it took about 15 minutes to get me a room. After that I had a nurse (older skinny lady), doctor (my paper says Stefanie Coles), a respiratory person (not sure of his name, older guy with gray hair) and I want to say they all were amazing ! Unfortunately I did not ask their names, I forgot. They really took time to listen and answer my questions, were very nice and caring . I had some giggles with my nurse too, she was coming to me pretty often and she was really the best! The respiratory guy also took time to check me and answer any questions I had. I just felt great with every single person who helped me today . I also had medications that helped me to breathe and I felt a lot better . I was there at around 2:30 pm to 6 pm . Thank you a lot!

I appreciate the way I was treated here today. I want to give a special shout out to PA Kelly, knowledgeable, caring and straight forward. She invest time in you. Bless you! You rock, and so does everyone from check in to leaving.

I am not a medical person (layman's knowledge), but I had to go as an emergency patient in an ambulance who thought she was having a heart attack. Although the pain quickly subsided, the personnel at Good Samaritan took really GOOD care of me, were very thorough in their testing and treatment, and were very kind to an older broad who asked a LOT of questions. They treated me like I was special the whole time. And when I had to transfer to Union Memorial for a cardiac catheterization, Union Memorial personnel did the EXACT same thing. Nothing but GOOD THINGS to say about both hospitals.

Actually had a really good experience overall because of being in the O'Neill unit on the fourth floor. On the day before, when I was in a room on the floor below, I did have a nurse, Gary, try to force a covid test on me, literally sticking that thing up my nose, when I was extremely sensitive and vulnerable at that time, and he yelled at me when I told him to stop. I literally had to try to remove his hand. I was bawling right in front of him and he did not even care. That was a really traumatizing experience for me. But after I got to the fourth floor, I had an excellent experience with a majority of the nurses and techs, except maybe two nurses and one tech. That, along with the awesome room service, decently good food, nice cleaning people and the people that brought me my meals; played the hugest role in me being able to heal. Along with the appropriate medical treatment from the doctors; even though the doctors I had throughout my stay there were not that great, except for maybe one. But I believe they did everything medically right in order to bring me back to good health, and I am thankful for that. A special shout-out to nurses' April, Anne, and Gloria; techs Stephanie, Kelly, and Bernice. All we need is a little more kindness and empathy in this world.❤

Just had my appendix out at this hospital and I have to say they have some of the nicest nurses, techs, janitorial staff, RA's, everyone. I did not come across anyone who was not the nicest person. I was alone cause of Covid coming in and had no idea what was wrong with me but I knew I was in good hands from the first encounter with the kind nurses. They helped me with everything I needed and treated me lovely. While definitely not a fun experience at all the people working at this hospital made me feel safe and extremely well cared for. The whole building was clean and I was provided with everything I needed. I have zero negative things to say besides appendicitis sucks but that's not their fault. Thanks Good Sam, I hope to not see again soon.

I went here the day after being in a car accident and going to Franklin Square the night of the accident but leaving because I was left to sit for 3 hours in the waiting room. Good Samaritan was totally different! I was in and out in 3.5 hours with a CT and X-ray done etc. The hospital staff were efficient and everything was clean. Definitely much better than Franklin Square.

My grandma had a mini stroke(high blood pressure) I called the ambulance after her stay in a nursing home(Genesis Cromwell parkville Md👎🏽)because of severe pains as she screamed. Come to find out she was retaining urine 800cc’s and hadn’t had a bowel movement on top of that she had a severe urine infection that was causing her confusion as anyone would be after going through what she’s gone through in a month. Long story not short social worker here had a Dr call me a few days after I’d been only communicating with one particular Dr. and I’ve been asking the same questions & still No change. New Dr was called to explain to me(because I’m so slow & incompetent) they were trying to move her back into a nursing home. I asked why when she still hadn’t had any scans or X-rays done or even finished antibiotics for the infection she’s very confused(delirium! Not Dementia!) the dr kept assuring me they’re gonna take care of her in a nursing home with therapy but she’s been in a bed not able to walk like she could prior to the nursing home. I begged for a X-ray and cat scan because we need to find out if there’s a possibility that she fell. Shes (198lbs)a heavy woman and she got around fine before the nursing home & infection. I had to appeal the decision through KEPRO not to discharge in hopes of getting them to listen to my concerns and act on it. Bottom line is stay close to your loved ones and ask questions no matter how much these medical professionals try to brush you off as being crazy or Demented and keep all lab tests, diagnosis, meds, nurses daily logs, names&telephone#’s logged for your own record because people will pass the blame around quickly when your loved ones lives are turned upside down period! No compassion PS the stay was very clean/food was prepared good and staff on the 4th floor were very attentive and to help as much as they could

The BEST ED in Baltimore. Nurses, PA's, Tech's, staff, Registrars, Floor Tech's have always been nice and caring to me. I live about 35 minutes away but this is the only place I go for emergency treatment. Everyone is so nice, educated and caring. This is my second visit here in 3 months and my experiences have been very pleasant. It helps a lot when you are very sick and you go for treatment and everyone is kind, attentive and understanding. I've worked for several hospitals and have worked for MedStar in the past. Makes me very proud to be associated with you all. THANK YOU. Nurse Stella, Tech Keara, PA Erin and even the floor techs who were on shift.

Katisha at the ER registration desk on 2/26/20 at 6:10pm to be exact was very pleasant and friendly, very different approach from the triage check in person (lady). The lady at the triage check in with the artificial bun seemed to be bitter and in a rush. We need to start recognizing more great employees like Katisha. Keep up the great work Katisha, your kindness was acceptable!

I love Dr Chan Aung peds office, he is a hard working doctor that continues to educate himself about health care and medical changes, he practice what he preaches and he also talks to my boys about other areas of their lives. The other doctor there saw my son, she too is great! My oldest son aged out but I have a few more years with my other two...I will miss them. The staff are great, they encouraged me to go into healthcare, & that decision changed my life for the best!!!

I was hit by a car and brought here. The physicians and nurses were nice and saw me fairly quickly. However, I resented having to ask for something stronger than Ibuprofen after flying over the hood of a car, landing on concrete , and needing weeks of therapy.

Thank you to Dr. Zikusoka, Dr. Randhawa, and all the nurses; Erin, Mikaela, Calvin, Roxy - I forgot some of the names just because we had many different nurses but they were ALL so nice and helpful. Thank you so much for the clear explanations, and general welcome feeling you gave us during our stay. We will forever appreciate it.

One person does not make a hospital, good or bad.. And yes you can run into some poor employees ,no matter what Hospital you go to,for your health care.So I myself always try another way..by talking to someone else.I love Good Sam myself. The Doctors and staff have all been wonderful. Its great to have all your Doctors, with all your tests.and your records in the same hospital.
