I brought my elderly parent in to the local Mt Sinai Emergency Room last week and had a very positive experience. I am very grateful for the care she was given by everyone on the Staff, despite an incredibly busy ER. Mt. Sinai was well organized, clean and much more efficient than I would have expected. Everyone was kind - from the ambulance drivers to the nurse at the intake desk to the nurses, doctor and CAT/X-ray techs who cared for my Mother (she was there over the course of two shifts). I want to especially call out an evening shift nurse named Camille and Dr. MacDonald, who both cared for my Mother and helped discharge her. A shoutout to the very kind and gentle CAT and Xray technicians who dealt with my Mother's dementia and physical pain. I also noticed how well everyone cared for other patients and interacted with other caregivers, despite some very challenging patients and obviously difficult health conditions that night. Thank you.

This hospital did an excellent job on my stomach surgery to remove my Crohn's disease. This hospital was also very clean and beautiful.

This is actually a long overdue review. My sister, Ms. Jenkins has been a patient at this location (1468 Madison Ave) for a number of years. She has undergone several procedures and/or treatments and has always received the best care needed and continues to need. I cannot say enough great things about the Doctors, Nurses and Social Workers (particularly Ms. Shea). Their professionalism and compassion, especially during these trying times is exceptional and I feel that they set the example for all others in this field to follow. Thank you again for doing your very best to care for my sister and keep her as comfortable as possible. Regards, Ms. Lopez

Doctors and nurses are great and supportive. The receptionists and administrators seem overworked, and came off as bothered and annoyed to answer any questions.
Kimberly Clarke
Wow!!!!! 🤗🤗🤗 I had the best experience ever today. The receptionist was extremely courteous and polite, it seems like she loves her job. The Dr. had alot of patience with me, he actually listened to me.. He didn't treat me like I was just another number. All of the nurses I came in contact seem to really enjoy working for Mount Sanai. The service here was so great today to the point I couldn't wait until I get home to write this review. I'm writing it while I'm waiting to get blood work done. 🤗🤗🤗

Highest of praises for Dr. William Lawson, MD, DDS.
I was assaulted randomly and had a broken bone in my face. Dr. Lawson, despite his exceedingly high experience and expertise, answered all of my questions before and after the surgery with no attitude or annoyance whatsoever.
I've heard horror stories of screws, plates, and mesh needed to repair an injury like this, and Dr. Lawson said he simply cut me open from inside the mouth and "popped" the bone back into place. This was several years ago, and I have not had any issues since. Thank you, Dr.

This hospital was the best hospital I've ever been too. I had a abscess under my breast that Beth isreal on first avenue refused to treat. So I was transferred here and I am so happy with the way I was treated by the staff here. The surgeon was amazing! I definitely recommend this hospital!!

Great hospital. We enjoy working closely with the hospital and New York center for rehabilitation and nursing. Amazing doctors and social work department.

The 5 stars are for the ER and the ICU (medical and transplant) My sister passed away last week after battling alcoholism, and the many complications which followed having hip surgery for septic joint. She was in the hospital for about a month and eventually was on multiple life sustaining medications and mechanical ventilation with no hope for recovery. The icu providers were extremely compassionate, from the pcts, housekeeping staff, doctors, NPs, RNs, and anyone else my family and I interacted with, they were respectful, and showed
Empathy, seeing that our family member was not getting better. I give ZERO stars to the surgeon who performed my sisters surgery Dr. C Moucha, and her Liver specialist Dr Gene Im, No one from either specialty called or came to speak to anyone in my family to offer condolences and just say im sorry that your family member is dying after complications s/p hip surgery. NO ONE contacted us. The surgeon stated to my mother he would call us after her surgery to let us know she was ok, and he never did that. I had to call the recovery unit many many hours after her surgery and speak to a PA who gave me an update stating she was “fine.” the NP who works with Doctor IM treated my sister like a lunatic when she would call her from her hospital bed to help her with her emergency leave of absence forms for her job so that she wouldn’t get fired and no one would assist her, after she was on her death bed I find out her liver and kidneys had completely shut down which causes high ammonia levels my sister wasn’t in her right mind. She battled alcoholism for more than 20 years, and in the end was not treated humanely by her liver doctor. Thank god for Her nurse in her final days “Z”, the palliative care doctor and social worker who called me after she passed, who sat with my mother and I and offered genuine emotional support, and the doctor and NP in ticu who were there in her final hours, and doctor Devivo who was so very caring and checked in multiple times the entire shift.

They are like savers literally...working in that hospital... they care and, that will always be the reason why they will remain amazing people in my heart

My experience with the hospital was okay the hospital seemed clean and took Covid precautions. I went in to have some blood work done, physical and my flu shot. I did have to remind the medical assistant to wear gloves and a mask while taking my blood, that seemed suspect but overall they fulfilled the responsibilities of the appointment.

I had a recent surgery at Mt. Sinai under the special care of Dr. Satish Govindaraj and felt that I needed to share what an incredible experience I had from start to finish. From the time I arrived at 6:30 on a Wednesday morning, I was treated with respect by each person -- nurses, doctors, support staff. Even waiting between phases of the process, I was made comfortable and attended to with care and courtesy. Despite Covid and staffing shortages, my experience was the utmost in professionalism.

Wasn’t there myself, but my niece had a liver transplant Thursday. Best place!

So far we had a great experience. We had a great resident and anes… called 3 hours post op to check on us. only issue was the male nurse from pacu I withholding. doesnt even show care for the pt. talks like a barbarian and acts like he doesnt have any proper nursing care education. but it doesnt really define the whole hospital.
J. Taurez
Nurses are wonderful but COVID changed how some of them give care. The assistants are deserving of praise as well, it’s a hard job and people call out for weather or COVID etc.
Just a reminder that human beings are being treated at these facilities, when you skip steps in your training because you want to rush through; you compromise yourself, the patient and the facility! When assistants are on their phones (talking) in the room with patients trying to get rest at 2am and everyone is being loud it doesn’t help anyone recover! Please remember we are all here together dealing with life! ✌🏽

Under the most difficult conditions, I see the ER staff at Mt. Sinai at East 98th, as dedicated soldiers on the front line. In spite of the overwhelming amount of patients and limited beds and rooms for admitted patients, and the impatient patients and the stress that comes with the job, they utilize every possible means to accommodate all who enter for care. I sat for hours and observed, the constant inflow of patients, and how they were efficiently managed and treated; and had to conclude that this ER operated like a well oiled, and well maintained machine. Although there were patients who were indeed complaining, those complaints were primarily related to the long wait for beds/rooms. However, I bet those complainers also recognized how admirable all the ER staff executed their duties. This would include the supervising doctor, the nurses, all the supporting staff, and departments, and the custodial staff. Each worked like that preverbal cog in the wheel that made is move efficiently. Therefore, I must take this opportunity to say how much I appreciate them all for their exceptional dedication to an awesomely difficult job.
Finally, I also wish to thank Dr. R. Sharma and his excellent group for giving me excellent and exceptional care.

I needed 5 surgeries on my left elbow. Dr. Parsons performed all and is a GREAT dr. Dr. Jeng was a fabulous anesthesiologist, and the recovery room staff and even the clerical staff are the best I've ever met. Too bad I can't give them more than 5 stars.

In reference to Madison 5! I love you and miss you and I'm hungry, fml lmao 🫂🥰😘🌟😅💝
had the pleasure of being treated by this facility between the dates of March 31st 2022 to April 19th 2022. My training doctor was Rosenthal Blake and he was very helpful, understanding, and thoughtful, in reference to the circumstances that I was unfortunately a part of. I had to stay for that long duration but I was feeling mighty mighty mighty great because I was not only fed exceptional food but I was also treated with respect and genuineness and I felt very very safe. He made sure that he kept his word and he believed me when I told him that I was and still am orisha. I am The reincarnation of Oloudumare with Oshun! And, it's so great to know that there are people out there who are in charge of treating people with mental illness and that they are actually incorporating spirituality when diagnosing patients. This facility is the first of its kind to actually incorporate in their approach empathy when dealing with others like myself. If you are similar and think that you also share many many many traits that I have been speaking via the airwave then this is the place for you. You will be considered you will be sheltered and there are many outpatient opportunities that will be geared your way to ensure that you continue on the path of not only being heard and acknowledged but ultimately safe. Because you matter just as much as any regular m***********.

Dr David Adams and his cardiac care staff did an excellent job.
From scheduling my initial visit to post operative care they were on point the whole way. Dr Adams came highly recommended from a few sources.
One of them works for a local major sports franchise right here in NY.
The Dr diagnosed my condition and did a great job.
No more atrial fibrillation ( a fib) that was quite scary but alas it was fixed by the Dr. Nurses at 5 center post op were great and the nurses on 7 west were the best. From Rowena, Theresa ,Dhonna, Jean, Abel and Ross and others it went amazingly well. I had my surgery in June on 2012.
I am still doing well and they saved my life.
I would give them all 10 stars if I could. Great hospital and they deserve all the accolades that they have earned for being
AMONG THE HIGEST RATED CARDIAC CARE UNITS IN THE COUNTRY!!

I've been reading some of these comments and I am completely at odds with almost all of the negative ones. I went to the E.R. for a second time after I had a Anterior Cervical Fusion from c4-c7 at a hospital in upstate N.Y. I dealt with numerous e.r. doc's who were all fantastic. I was very impressed with their genuine feeling care for my surgery aftercare. They went above and beyond regarding my situation. O say all the necessary specialists I needed to see and was given an appointment with a phenomenal Neurosurgeon who I saw monthly or bi- weekly for quite some time. She was great unlike one of her young male colleagues. First time I went, with my medical back round I knew the chances of me going home that night were slim to none and I had also saw a P.A. earlier that day at a different place. I went in around 3 or 4 p.m. and didn't leave for a few days. I needed an appendectomy. Luckily my sister (with whom I was temporarily staying with) lived somewhat close by 1st and 120th. It took a little time to get a room, but I had a bad which was fine with me because at the time I smoked and could sneak out and smoke until taken up stairs. I got a laparoscopic appendectomy; three tiny incisions, one barely visible and everything went great including the friendly staff all round. I don't agree with these negative reviews as hospitals can be busy and overwhelmed. Just don't go to a hospital outside of the U.S. unless it's an award winning one. Would go back in a second to Mt. Sinai.

My 1 year old nephew was brought here due to acute liver failure. Erica and the entire staff were absolutely amazing and so quick to test some members of the family. My mom, his grandmother, was a match to be a live donor & everything went absolutely perfect! We can’t thank them enough for all they did to help save my nephew.

While introducing our kids to NYC on an extended weekend trip, my teen son suffered a perforated appendix that required an emergency appendectomy.
While we were initially lost for 30 mins trying to find where to go (an angel at the security desk finally took pity on us and walked with us to where we needs to be) and we were in the peds ED 2 hours longer than necessary due to the medical resident forgetting to advise us not to let our son sip any fluids (the resident felt bad and was apologetic), the overall care my son received was top notch. Everyone there is clearly committed to the well-being of the kids, and it shows. They took care of my son, and were so understanding of our family’s situation.
Ruthie in Child Life was a godsend, Dr. Koakley, Nina and the surgical team were superior, and Kim, Pam and Michelle on the 5th floor peds were responsive, very competent and kind. A special thank you to Darlene at the security desk for her kindness in helping guide us to where we were supposed to go when we arrived worried and uncertain.
I would not hesitate to recommend Mount Sinai for care. It was so comforting to be there.

My experience with my dying sister in law was very comforting and with lots of dignity, I appreciate all the doctors and nurses who helped us during her last days, especially Joseph RN on 7 west. His professionalism & power of love, showed throughout our stay. Thank you Joseph and the hospice team for their helpfulness, You are always in my thoughts and prayers

It is one of the best hospitals in the USA from my experience with the doctors and the treatment I receive but only problem it has is; nurses!
Once you leave the hospital sometimes nurses will call you for some reason but never leave a message or extension number to call back, in case you want to call back it goes into a cloud system to thousands of people who you want to talk to?
Because you receive a call from a hospital general number and nurse did not leave any message and you see few different doctors you will never be able to talk to anybody!
There should be mandatory system that when nurses or anybody call from the hospital to a patient they must leave a call back extension number and the person name or the department name to call back!
This is the only lack of system they have!!! They should consider updating their call back policy!
Nurses must leave a extension number on patients phone so when a patient want to call back they reach the exact person instead of a cloud system!!
I hope they will see my review and implement my suggestions for better services.
Thank you
Kyle Blevins
I certainly didn’t plan on ending up in the ER in the middle of the night during my weekend trip to NYC, but I couldn’t have asked for better care than I received at Mount Sinai on Madison Avenue. The nurses and doctors were extraordinary in their compassion, attentiveness, and care. They restored my faith in good quality healthcare. Highly recommended this facility.

I just got home after 4 days in Mt. Sinai. Can’t say enough about the wonderful care I received there. This was my second time with them and my experience was the same both times. Incredible nurses; let’s not forget what they deal with every day. And of course doctors too.
They help you with post hospital stay needs. Don’t worry, they take good care if you.
Sheli Pickholz
I’ve worked at Mt. Sinai and been a patient multiple times, from ED to ICU and everything in between. I’ve loved both experiences - tho’ serious illness makes a hospital stay hard to love!My nurses and doctors have been caring, professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate all my care in the Hospital and at home through the Visiting Doctors Program.
love siempre

I had major brain surgery requiring a 4 day stay. Turn to two weeks later I felt like I was dying. Dizzy, pain in my neck, light headed etc. I arrived with my mom at 9pm didn't get to be seen until about 3am. It was packed that late at night. If it wasn't for a good amount of patients using the emergency room for stuff they can pick up at their local pharmacy (even if it is 3am 24 pharmacies do exist..one girl was there for I kid you not to see if she was pregnant or not) I'm sitting in a chair in the ER waiting for a bed in the ER shivering in excruciating pain with a blanket over me and she is there to see if she is pregnant it's called EMERGENCY ROOM for a reason. And it's not like she thought she was pregnant and was having pain she was chatting away with everyone saying she thinks she might be pregnant hasn't taken a test yet from the pharmacy even telling me she usues the ER as her primary care physician. If it wasnt for all the non emergencies clogging up the ER the wait would not be so horrendous. Finally an angel of a Dr appeared he was a resident I believe his name was Dr Rice and he was just awesome. Told me it would be a little bit for a CT scan but would keep be as comfortable as my blood pressure would allow even allowing me to pick what pain medication I wanted. Anyway I wound up being admitted upstairs for a week but spent 24 hours in the ER waiting to get a bed upstairs. Dr Rice left for his shift and came back for his shift while i was waiting to be brought upstairs. Anyway I've been in this emergency room countless times due to chronic medical issues but that first time was time that stuck out the most. 5 star review because the staff can't do anything about people showing up at 1am with hangnails and every other ER visit and sometimes admission was a lot quicker than 24 hours.

My boyfriend had emergency surgery and the staff were extremely helpful and great. They made him as comfortable as possible in these crazy times and took great care of him. I would definitely recommend this hospital.

One of the best hospitals. I had surgery on a large mass on my adomen. This hospitals has saved my life. I been in the hospital for 3 months. It wasn't easy but they help me feel better. Some doctor are friendly and caring. They help me give my strength back. Thank you doctors and nurses.

All my family members have been treated at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, Nephew, Dad,Mother, Sisters, and my self. It’s one of the best hospitals in the area.

Ironically, I came to post a review about the great care we received from a tech and I noticed she has already been publicly recognized. Tech Nelfa Ramos is fabulous. Please give this woman a raise! Despite the patient overload she was attentive, patient and genuinely empathetic. Thank you for embodying the meaning of a caring medical professional. Our family is very grateful for the care given to my uncle. I thought she was a nurse but, my husband thinks she's a tech. I originally got her name wrong too. Either way she works in the ER.

I came to visit the dentistry department. Dr.Perez is an Angel! She truly care about the patients and make your teeth better. And they are very clear about the price and give estimated on how much the insurance charges.
Natasha Mayer
Brought my roommate in having a severe allergic reaction. The staff treated us respectfully and started treatment right away (because her throat was closing and she couldn't breath; other waited as you might expect to in the ER). That said, there were just too many patients. Patients were being wheeled in beds and squeezed in like sardines. The nursing staff, while friendly, were very rushed trying to care for everyone. It made me nervous that a mistake could be made, and there wasn't usually someone available to answer questions about treatment. Again, not the fault of the hardworking staff, but there was just not enough space or nurses to treat the patients.
Frank Kalnberg
I'm always pleased with going to Mt. Sinai. I'm part of the WTC monitoring program and everyone there is so helpful and understanding. The process for me takes a few hours but I'm not complaining because they are helping me with my health issues. Thank you and God bless you!

I had a 3 level spinal fusion on December 28th by my amazing surgeon Dr. S.Choudhary his team along with his staff and nurses in Orthopedics department were beyond attentive and so very caring I wish I wrote down their names. Very clean hospital and was very good with your safety regarding COVID.

I'm an RN in Florida and while visiting my elderly mother she experienced medical issues. We took her to Mount Sinai Hospital late night on Saturday. When we arrived at the ER we received good service. However, one tech in particular; Nelfa was *OUTSTANDING*. She didn't know I'm an RN and I observed her clinical skills and I was very impressed.
Miriam Caballero
This is my hospital. Since childhood they have taken the time to address my illness, needs and my well being. They come to the home to make sure I am doing well. The doctors care for their patients. They call me to remind me of my appointments. If I get sick and have to go to the emergency room I first contact the doctors that are on call to let them know what is going on with me and they will tell me to come in and send an ambulance for me. I understand all hospitals get overwhelmed with the amount of patients that come through the emergency room. But that doesn't mean the Doctors are bad. I know for a fact that the best doctors are at Mt. Sinai.
Christina G
idc what anybody says, this hospital saved my life. the only thing that sucks is the waiting room but once you’re in, they really know what they are doing. And the doctors and nurses are sooo nice!
Ramona Rodriguez

Nelly is a nurse that works in the ER Department. Nelly treated my elderly father with a lot of respect and dignity. Even though the place was PACKED and we wouldn't recommend the hospital overall Nelly made the difference between a 1 STAR to 5 STAR. We recognize our Dad is a bit difficult to get along with but, Nelly had him laughing and made him very comfortable during his medical procedure. I think Dad was crushing on her ;)
Please hire more nurses like Nelly because she is very good at her job and very professional!!!

I went in last night and got out this morning. It took long but what ER doesn't? Everyone was so nice and helpful. They were so clean, caring and thorough always asking if I needed anything. I never met a nicer group of Dr's and nurses.

I have recently started to work with Mt. Sinai. I consider myself so very fortunate.
The more I see, the more I witness the diversity, professionalism and dedication of the great staff working there.
I see so many wonderful things and so many people who REALLY care. Are there problems? Sure, but the good is so very good and the people are so very concerned. There is a culture at Mt. Sinai that demonstrates a commitment to excellence. I have seen first-hand the doctors, the care and the knowledge that goes into patient care and service.
If you're admitted or being treated by the staff at Mt. Sinai, relax, then consider yourself in the best of hands with the best-of-the-best.
Gina
Beautiful building, very attentive security, Overcrowded Emergency room with overwhelmed nurses. Unless you are on your last leg or have a gunshot wound or can no longer see, walk or hear, try another hospital if it is not a true emergency. The ER houses beds on top of beds with barely any room to walk. There are several nurses who really do go out of their way for you. Other parts of the building are undergoing contruction which can really delay your route to your loved one or destination because the place is a maze. Rapid response teams are really on their A game with an outstanding response time. Staff is overall friendly and their communication systems seem to be up to date. Doctors are very knowledgeable however they dont always appear right away or as often as youd like because they are likely overwhelmed as well... great food for patients and pretty diverse choices in the staff and community cafeteria....kudos.

I've been to this hospital many times and i can honestly say this is one of the top rated hospitals in nyc. The staff is caring, courteous, and generally concerned for a patients wellbeing. This is a top notch hospital and is noted for there cardiac care. A lot of people come to this hospital because of there cardiac care unit. I would recommend this hospital to anyone in need of a good/great hospital. This hospital is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

My mother had her cancer treatment at Mt Sinai. The doctors were great, knew how to treat her type of cancer and got her through it. She had surgery and it was huge success. I took a star off because the nurses here were clueless and largely unhelpful while she was there for a week after the surgery.
Malea Grubb
The interior of the hospital looks outdated (some areas more than others). But it's a hospital, not a hotel, so I guess we shouldn't expect it to look like the Plaza. That being said, I felt the quality of care here is higher than that of other area hospitals. Every doctor/nurse/staff person I've talked to has been polite and most seem competent. That's more than you can say about some of the other hospitals in this area.
joy chung
We are very thankful for a nurse, Sherry Chtanghal. She really listened to the patient and patient's family and was following up so my dad can come home. My dad was told that he would come home after a small surgery the same day, and the hospital kept him overnight. When we called the hospital the next day afternoon, they just had now ordered blood work to be done and was not sure when he was going home. He ended up staying another night and came home with no other new findings. Thank you Sherry!

Exceptional care and expertise. From top-rated surgeons, doctors a d nurses, to the custodians and cooks, every one is a trained professional with an outstanding attitude. Best care I never received.

Mount Sinai Hospital located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, NYC is 1 of the best hospitals in the country.
The hospital itself is a huge complex above and underground. The hospital's underground maze is quite overwhelming, and one would require assistance from the staff to navigate it. The Hospital's location is psychically between East 96th Street to East 102nd Streeet to off 5th and Madison Aveune, the underground maze runs identical to the structures above ground.
Mount Sinai Hospital's lobby is fashioned after some of the finest hotels in the world's lobby.
Warm and cozy, inviting and friendly and pleasant. The staff is caring and concerned, and I recommend them and the hospital highly.

Thank goodness for Dr. Arthur Kornbluth, Dr. Alex Greenstein and the staff at Mount Sinai Hospital, they helped save my life.
Unfortunately I became severely ill early this year and was transferred to Mount Sinai from my local hospital. One of Mount Sinai's specialties is GI diseases and both Dr. Kornbluth and Dr. Greenstein are affiliated here. The hospital staff were great to work with (Go 10 East!). Dr. Greenstein and his staff saw me at least once everyday. Dr. Kornbluth stopped by to check in even after my case was turned over.
The Nurses, aids, staff and volunteers in the hospital were all polite, patient, knowledgeable and clearly let me know what was going to take place in the way of tests, blood work to be drawn, etc.
Everyone helped make me feel comfortable. The encouragement and support was amazing. I'm well into my final steps of healing and the team has given me a quality of life back that I had not seen for the past 21 years. THANK YOU!!!
These are the Doctors and hospital you want to be at if you have a GI disorder.
It's also important to note that the hospital patient rooms and floors are going through a major renovation. Floor 10 East is complete and it has modern amenities to make the patients feel comfortable and promote healing.

Dr. Cohen in the GI department is amazing! She listens, she told me things in the first fifteen minutes of my first appointment than the local doctors did/could in nine months! Absolutely phenomenal! Truly a life saver!

The hospital itself is beautiful. However some of the care that is given to patients is questionable. Now when I get a Doctor that cares and takes pride in their work I am taking care of BEAUTIFULLY but when I get a Doctor who is only their for a paycheck and have the select few patients that they get their money from it hurts so on a scale from 1 to 10 I give Mount Sinai a 8. You here to take care of us like nike JUST DO IT.

I have been treated for cancer at the Ruttenberg Center for Head, Neck and Throat Cancer. While having a diagnosis of cancer is life changing and creates a time full of anxiety, the doctors and staff at Mt Sinai gave me confidence that they could treat my cancer and bring me to full recovery. Every doctor or medical professional that I spoke with at the beginning of my diagnosis told me to go to Mt Sinai as they are the experts in the treatment of Head, Neck and Throat cancers.
From the reception desk, lab techs, radiation techs and chemo nurses, everything is top quality and first rate. My nurses for chemotherapy gave me great comfort and were wonderful in explaining the effects of chemo on my body.
My medical team was the best as well. I highly recommend anyone that has had a recent diagnose of these cancers to go to Mt Sinai and hear what they would plan for treatment. I am very happy that I chose this hospital.
Clara Rodriguez
This hospital is very caring. I like their protocol on cleaning and maintaining a germ free environment. My mom had cardiac surgery and thankfully everything went smoothly all of the members of her team were absolutely amazing.
Giovanny Martinez
BY FAR the greatest hospital in NY. Children's services and Most RNs have amazing positive attitudes and Always try to make parents comfortable. I Definitely recommend a private room if you're giving birth here. The STAFF ROCKS!!!!!
MADE IN THE USA God Bless America
A fantastic nurse in The Mount Sinai E.R. named Nelfa helped clean my mother up and got her into a clean gown right away. My mom was extremely embarrassed but, Nelfa treated her individually with compassion, dignity and respect despite the overflow of patients in the E.R.
Mom's primary care doctor advised her to go to the E.R. as soon as she was exhibiting symptoms related to her chronic disease. Unfortunately, she was too late. Mom's neighbor found her unconscious in the hallway. Mom was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. She had vomitted on herself and lost control of her bowels. It was a big mess but, Nelfa made my mom feel a lot better with her kind words of encouragement and a few jokes. Mount Sinai Hospital needs a lot more nurses like Nelfa.

I love Mount Sinai hospital. Good staff. Very pleasant, and knowledgeable. I have been going to Mount Sinai since I was very young. A spring chicken. Now I am a.muture hen.

I'm retracting my earlier post and would like to apologize for my accusation, to the staff please forgive me. My dad (Willie Womack) memory is failing and I went on his words. To the entire staff on the 14th floor I wish you a wonderful holiday season, again I'm very sorry for any inconvenience.

My husband was a pt of Dr Sharma. We had to stay overnight on 7 west. It was the best experience we have had .being a nurse myself I feel so strongly.
Special graditude to our day nurse Alicia budha r.n.

My Dad was in Cardiac Catheterization Lab for blockage in his heart and it was the best experience in New York City hospital. The nurses were very friendly and helpful. I won't forget the service we received. Go ahead Mt Sinai !

While doing a little research for an upcoming call i found most interesting besides other pertinent topics for discussion was the Artwork by Ms. Moses the Glamour Portrait for the Nurses titled "Thank you, Mt Sinai Nurses" 11-story OMG! amazingly breathtakingly beautiful not to mention the other amazing projects of people from around the world ages 4 yrs old to 100. who goes on a website for one reason and fine a million? me lol...lets just say i did my research 3 pages of notes..happy holiday! be safe ! #lovewins

They treat their patients with kindness and respect and will go out of their way, even in the ER at midnight, to make you comfortable if they can. I highly recommend this place - everyone is so nice!!!
Valerie W (Val)
I enjoy visiting this clean organized place. They have enough variety in their food choices (for visitors) that make going there a welcomed trip, even though it's a hospital.
Yassin Orphans
I love mount Sania so much I been going there for so 20 years i even let the students work on me I have my 3 beautiful kids there I always had a wonderful experience but when I had my third c section i had the worst experiences. I hate that the nurses rush u to leave the hospital and some of the nurse are very rude
Yanick Dorsaint
The ER needs a serous upgrade. I’m giving Sinai 5 stars because my neurologist practices there and I get my infusions there. Both neurology and infusion center staff are caring, professional and understanding.
Myra Weiss
My husband, Martin L. Birnbaum (83 years old), just returned home after experiences in the Emergency Room, one week of inpatient hospitalization and one week of acute rehab., along with a social worker in rehab. Words can not express how wonderful our experience was at Mt. Sinai - in each of these three departments. All the workers - from the level of physicians to nurses, aides, cleaning people - were interested in and emotionally very warm to Martin (and, secondarily, to me). This was my first experience of Mt. Sinai Hospital and I hope never to have to go elsewhere for our medical needs! Thanks to all, again!!!!!!! Myra Weiss (Birnbaum), D.S.W.

I love this place! it saved my life. The doctors and researchers are top-notch. I continue to be impressed with the medical care given to me. However, I wasn't impressed with the food in the cafeteria. They only have good cookies. If you are dying, go here!!!!!!!
Krissa Johnson

Can't imagine a better Emergency experience. Dr. Yeo, William, Elizabeth Jennifer and everyone there treated us as if we were royalty or Joan Rivers. Hope she is as lucky as we were. Thank you all. Thank you. Also thank you to Blue Cross Insurance. Pretty important for travelling Canadians!

Doctors and nurses are fantastic. They are absolutely the best!!! Loosing one star is because of the ghetto “financial department”
Ray Rolston

Overall the hospital was great treated me with respect a little slow at times in er but should expected it's pretty crowded and wen had a complaint it was always resolved at the lowest level of administration I even switched my primary doctor to their Jack Martine clinic

half of the people commenting bad things here have never been to this place. its because they are following cancel culture on Tik Tok because someone had a different view then them. the people who say woman should have a voice get mad when another woman had a different view then they did. DO NOT BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS
O H
Through this hospital i was given a second chance on life and since i was transferred to this hospital the experience that i have had is just a wonderful experience from staff to nurses to doctor's and i always say thank god that I was transferred at Mount Sinai and the feeling that I have for this hospital because of all the wonderful experiences that I've had I cant express it by words and all I can say is thank you for saving my life thank you for doing your best to save my life and your best worked and keep up the good effort and dont let the bad reviews affect your excellent work and the energy that you give to save a life and I am so grateful that if I say thank you everyday it still not enough for what you did to keep me alive.
