I have been there many times, very nice staff ! Nice artwork displayed there! Highly recommend Cleveland Clinic to anyone! Beautiful campus! Starbucks and subways, Panera Bread and Aladdin’s, gift shops inside of the hospital! So nice and convenient for the staff and public !

I had a total hip replacement surgery this past June. It pains me to read the bad reviews about C.C. as the doctors there literally " gave me my life back". I am very healthy otherwise but had very advanced osteoarthritis in my right hip. I was not able to walk without a cane and was in 24/7 pain for over a year. Dr. Nicholas Piuzzi in the orthopedic department was amazing as well as his staff. I was discharged 25 hours after surgery. I live in Erie, and the hospital set up my home OT & PT. My recovery has been much quicker than most over 65 and I attribute most of it to the surgical procedure. (minimally invasive robotic assisted) and the high skill of the doctor. I don't know about any other departments, but I was impressed with the skill and compassion and attention of all the departments. Did I come across someone having a bad day, sure, but I don't feel that's a fair assessment of the overall facility and staff . You are also sent multiple surveys to report rude or dismissive people. Overall I highly recommend Cleveland Clinic. My husband has an appointment in another department soon and I expect we will receive the same exceptional quality of care I received. My whole family in Erie goes to the Cleveland Clinic.

I was life flighted to the Clinic on April 20, 2022. I have been treated with respect at every procedure. Still going through radiation and still have a few mountains to climb but 100% satisfied. Had an outpatient procedure here a week ago. From the reception, the valet, the people randomly helping me find where I needed to go. To the overall medical care. I have medical anxiety and with the care here I felt safe. I actually felt good about it all… Only thing is it’s a huge place so please make sure you know where to go. This is one the best medical facilities in the world. My parents loved the Clinic and I have doctored there for about 60 years. My wife is currently doctoring there. You are treated well by everyone there. If an employee perceives that you may be lost in this huge institution an employee including the doctors themselves will direct you or guide you to your destination with a smile. They have their own sworn police department so you feel safe anytime you visit their campus. Lots of gorgeous outdoor spaces and huge hallways inside so it feels like a mall with shops, restaurants and other facilities. Very efficient scheduling. In one 7 hour day my wife had three diagnostic tests and saw four doctors. Check out the menu if you are a patient. Not your ordinary hospital food. How about that tunnel leading from the parking garage to the Miller building.

If you have to go to ANY hospital make sure you take all of your MEDICATIONS TO THE HOSPITAL with you !! DO NOT ASSUME that because your admitted in the hospital they will give you all of your medications that you take at home. A doctor has to approve of ALL medications given to patients. So if you need a specific medication immediately you'll have to wait for a doctor's approval before a nurse will give it to you. If your in pain this can be horrific.

The Cleveland Clinic saved my life! I was hospitalized in Michigan with a blood infection for a week was told everything was fine. Should follow up and get a new colonoscopy that I had just got three months earlier in Michigan. It said everything was fine. Went to Cleveland Clinic as an emergency case they did a colonoscopy a week later, couldn’t do the colonoscopy because my colon was in such poor shape. Two weeks later had major colon surgery remove the sigmoid portion of my colon that had died and removed a cyst, the size of a softball that was missed at the leading hospitals here in Michigan, thank God for the Cleveland Clinic

My wife had an appointment with Neurologist and all the staff and doctor was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was misdiagnosed in Virginia, so we went to this clinic. We'll be returning to the clinic in January for further tests.

People are alright however taking 60 days to reimburse after paying over $900 extra for services that I was required to pay before scheduling an appointment is a bit ridiculous. You’ve been paid. Give me my money back. Also the fact that this place posts hundreds of millions in profits, gouges customers without insurance, and isn’t accessible, yet is considered a non-profit is absolutely absurd. The medical industry is getting high on greed. Unfortunately it sucks that socialized medicine will happen because of organizations like this.

Most of the doctors were great. However, sometimes they don’t know the difference between bleeding internally and constipation. Also be prepared to get a bill 4 years later and the billing department to be vicious.

And then there are good doctors that can only give you 15 minutes and will only focus on one issue. Cleveland Clinic is health care - light-years ahead. Easy to get appointments. Initial evaluations can take 60-90 minutes. You'll likely get referred to multiple doctors who are at the top of their field. There are several high quality hotels on campus with good dining. The whole place is like a medical resort. Once you get into their system you'll get scheduled to see multiple doctors over a day or two. All imaging, testing, and lab work done on the spot. No waiting. Results are posted on MyChart as they are completed. Doctors follow-up their tests. You get same day results. No need to book an appointment to come back to discuss the results. How often do you have lab work done at the home medical system and told we'll call you if their is a problem? Or a nurse calls you and tells you the doctor didn't see anything. How often do you have to wait weeks to see a doctor and then need to come back weeks later to get results and then referred to another doctor that takes weeks to see. At Cleveland Clinic you're scheduled with the best back to back. At Cleveland Clinic they go really deep. They test, search, probe, and explore way beyond the norm. You find solutions for health issues that never get addressed in any other way. Also know Cleveland Clinic is one of the world's leading research institutions. They have answers your local medical system just do not have. And guess what? They call you by your first name or nick name and always with a smile. You are a loved human at Cleveland Clinic not something being processed the DMV. Finally know that all doctors at Cleveland are on one-year contracts. Contracts are not renewed if the Clinic way is not followed. Doctors want to be there and you should as well.

I can't thank Cleveland clinic enough and the whole bariatric team. I've been overweight my whole life. No one took me seriously. Cleveland clinic without hesitation wanted to help me. I went through the program had gastric bypass surgery and I'm now 32 lbs away from my goal weight. 24 lbs away from being a correct bmi for my height. I cant believe it. People don't even recognize me. I look and feel so much better. Update I made it to my goal weight. Went from 226lbs to 106lbs in less than a year.

I really would like to thank Patricia CNP nurse case manager on the Cardiac floor! She works directly with the team that helps navigate decisions for patients admitted. If it werent for her this trip to Cleveland clinic would have been a bust for me. Her dedication to her profession in this time of post Covid is remarkable and the Cardiac unit is better for having her there Not every health care professional is as amazing, dedicated and wonderful as Patricia is. Very nice Campus setting but way to big for its own good. So much walking to do when you get there and very confusing navigation to get anywhere. The whole campus is sprawling. They should have built up instead of out. Parking is crazy best to use Valet. However, valet is not cheap.if you are young and healthy, great. If your elderly or not in great shape, to navigate the Campus, it's very difficult and challenging.

Very great medical campus, the doctors and other staff here were great. The outside was beautiful, and is a joy to walk around. Parking is normally easy to find, but just be prepared to keep a vigilant eye when looking for a parking spot.

My family has had experiences with other hospitals which were not completely pleasant. Our experience with Cleveland Clinic has been very positive. My family member had open heart surgery. She also spent time in the palliative care unit, eventually under hospice care. Over the months we became very impressed with the efficient, kind care that she received. I was admitted for a short time about a day and a half and let me tell you, they are absolutely wonderful. The nurses and the aides were extremely kind, helpful and very willing to help with whatever I needed. Unlike most hospitals I've been too they made you feel very important! The Cleveland Clinic is setting the example for the type of care that hospitals should provide. They are paving the way in patient care, surgery, improving quality of life and relationships with their patients. The cardiac division is absolutely wonderful. I refer as many people as I can to the Cleveland Clinic. My only negative remark about the facility is that the night shift seems to be a little lacking in comparison to day turn. The night shift was a little barren and as the afternoon progresses it seems as though less staff is either available or reliable. No facility is perfect, but Cleveland Clinic definitely comes close.

I came for a second opinion and was nervous about traveling to another state for a complex surgery. But the expertise of the doctors as well as the kindness and compassion by the entire staff, made my decision easier. I feel the traveling will be worth it. I will be having my surgery at Cleveland Clinic in August. I hope the staff (from the driver's of the vans, to the doctors and nurses) know how much their kindness and help is noted and appreciated.

Quite frankly I was shocked to see that this facility has only received a 3.9 review! It deserves a 10! Having worked in a large University Medical Center for many years, I am spoiled by high standards. Cleveland Clinic was recommended to us for a second opinion in a heart related health issue by someone we trust who was also a patient. This facility is huge, and our impression started with the shuttle from the hotel. The driver went out of his way to assist us with baby carriage and us getting into and out if the van. He was kind, funny, courteous and knowledgable. The Center was well marked with signage and the staff (no matter who they were or what their job was) were extremely helpful and polite. They certainly made a very frightening trip more comfortable and easier to deal with. Although there was a bit of a wait for the first appointment, it was understandable during peak covid times (December, 2021) and up to and after that, it was a well oiled machine. Staff were “human”, accommodating, friendly and knowledgable. There was no “ego” being displayed here. The experience was not only good, but outstanding, and well above expectations. There is no question why it is world renowned, and it shows. Cleveland Clinic became the top and final choice for the heart procedure. The procedure was scheduled only 30 days out, and the Surgeon’s bedside manor amazing. Thanks to all staff for making a very frightening health situation easier.

My husband James Davis was seen for the first time today in the hematology department. He was supposed to see Dr. Eicher but he was detained elsewhere. We were seated in the room and 10 minutes later the nurse came in and asked us if we needed anything to drink and also asked if we were ok to wait a few minutes, of course we said that’s fine. We had driven from Cincinnati this morning it was a four hour drive. A couple minutes later a supervisor named Crystal entered and explained that the Doctor would not be in today. She said I am going to get you seen today seeing that you have come so far to see the Doctor. She then said I am going to get this handled for you. She came back a couple minutes later and said you are going to be seen by DR. Sandra M who is working in the clinic today but she is on her way up now to see you. We both looked at other in disbelief thinking that we may have to wait fir hours to see a different Doctor. While we were waiting for the Doctor Crystal validated our Valet parking and them apologized for any inconvenience that this may have caused us. About they time Dr. Sandra M entered the room with a Doctor in training and they also apologized to us. After a lengthy discussion with the Doctors who were very kind and understanding we were walked to the scheduling department by the doctors and they explained to us how to sign in. We then thanked them for their time and they went on with their day. We signed into scheduling and in about 10 minutes we were called back by a very nice lady by the name of Donica. She was sweet and very helpful and did everything to accommodate us. We then moved onto the lab and we waited about 10 minutes and my husband was called back. He can’t remember her name but my husband said that she was able to hit his vein on the first try and she filled about 30 tubes of blood. He stated” she was do efficient she is like a machine. She was also so polite and kind. We had a great experience at this hospital, everyone we met and talked to were so helpful and polite. We just want to say thank you and that we appreciate all of the hard work you all do everyday, you do I it well and you do it with a smile.

Cleveland clinic is deff one the best hospital in the world that why with all my health issues I will not move back home to New York until do not have to see so many doctors. Everyone is so kind and the doctor actually take there time with u and do not rush u out u can ask as many questions as you want. The only thing I have to say a lot is do not work on set income I dnt think we should have pay ten dollars to park your car there and the Valla people are rude very rude that only bad thing bout the main campus. Like said live there but they need to not chardge people to park sometimes it cost me 40 to 50 dollars cause all doc I see and all my apt

While ultimately I did not have surgery here, the facility is incredible and the doctors I saw were highly skilled and compassionate. Getting scheduled for appointments and insurance approvals/billing is easy. If you live nearby or have the ability to take advantage of Cleveland Clinic, consider yourself blessed.

The Cleveland Clinic is one of the best, if not the best, medical facility in the world. Outstanding medical staff, attention to detail and coordinated care. We feel blessed to live so close to this absolute gem. However, the food and food service are unimaginably horrible if you are inpatient.

This is an amazing hospital, they saved my husband's life when we went there for second opinion. We prayed and signed him out from the other place (gladly we did, otherwise he wouldn't...). Called Cleveland clinic in the morning and got the same day appointment for the Cardiac vascular department. They admitted him and operated him a day later, his heart has been working fine since. Thanks to Cleveland Clinic saved my husband's life.

3 years ago I really felted like the Cleveland clinic was truly a blessing.They helped my family out of life threatening situation many times over the years. I THANK THEM FOR EVERYTHING THEY HELPED OUT WITH MY FAMILY MEDICAL NEEDS.The Emergency room Doctors are the Best.Most of the Doctors are great and willing to listen to your concerns;but some of the nursing staff needs to be better educated and more honest.They are rude especially when you call to get updates about love one in the hospital.The abubman is supposed to be an advocate for the patients but thats isn't true.Abubmans are advocating for the Cleveland clinic main campus.If you complain too much.They can put you on a unofficial blacklist for no help from anyone.That itself says alot about their character.(The founder of the Cleveland clinic)WANTED PEOPLE TO FEEL WELCOME IN THE HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT.I dont believe that many employees feel that way today in 2021. .

Always have been well treated at this Hosp. They are very helpful and will do what ever is needed. The buildings are nice but neighborhood not so great. Has lots of transport, places to stay an places to eat all in or near Hosp. Place was clean and they have good chemistry with other dept. to cure all parts of you. Is a non smoking building. I recently spent a week here after undergoing an Esophagectomy on the Thoracic Step-down (J5-2) floor. Everyone I came in contact with during all my visits at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus was very friendly. However, the nurses, nurses assistants and all of the staff on the Thoracic Step-down unit where I stayed were exceptional! They truly are angels. I had never encountered such an amazing group of caring people before. They were very compassionate, friendly, patient, professional, attentive and helped make a very difficult time for me a little better and bearable. Every time I've called I've been able to be seen the same day or the next day. They were able to diagnose and treat me when doctors in Toledo couldn't and enabled me to avoid a feeding tube. I'm able to eat normally and without any problems whereas had I not gone to Cleveland Clinic I'd be eating through a tube. I highly recommend them for a second opinion!

Know this with certainty Cleveland Clinic Medical Centers Care is OUTSTANDING beyond comprehension. Rated #2 Best Hospital with higher credentials in 2018. They review and research all possible causes of illness, reasons for and sub possible reasons. They do not quit and have the most Friendly and highest credentialed professionals in all departments. The most experienced medical MD's. The X-ray MRI professional imagining tech had 20+ years experience and took 2 hours to collect the best image for reading. The blood work tests are provided most often within 4 hours. Cleveland Clinic has 53,000 dedicated Associates whom all have shown myself compassion, quality of care, determination and are the most helpful and proud spokespersons of the Institution. They are happy to be apart of the family and truly are lucky to have such a fine job and medical top rated place to work and be involved with. I am grateful to the bottom of my sole Indeed! I had a great experience with everyone in the hospital they were so caring and nice but one nurse stood out among the rest she was the most pleasant, patient and nurtureing nurse I have ever had. Her name was Hannah (never asked for her last name) she is blond and works in the er. I was hoping to thank her myself but I dought that will ever happen so I hope this helps at the very least your facility is very clean and comfortable. The food was healthy and pretty good I'm a dietary aid and cook in a nursing home so maybe that will make my words hold a little more meaning when I say that. Parking is horrible. They have two lanes in front but one is only for bus. They need to redirect traffic better. Got stuck for 30 minutes to park when garage was literally 1 minute down road. Took forever just for lab to draw blood. Regular appointment takes all day. Doctors are nice.

Let me not forget the cleaning people, so polite and compassionate. They really do a wonerful job. Now let me expound on the food service. On a scale of 1 to 10. I would give them a 4. Why, I am staying on the 8th floor VIP section of the hospital. I have been here since Feb 15th. I would expect that when I place an order I would get what I ordered. The mistakes of missing, or wrong plated food is an on going thing. The Patient Executive Chef Matt Tennant was alerted of this issue. He came to my room and we discussed the issue. He promised he would look into it. This morning once again, wrong plated food. I am on a special diet, per my condition. Wrong food is not good. This time I called the kitchen and asked to talk to the cook. She came down and we talked about her lack of supervision. She apologized and took the tray and remade the order. VIP not when it comed to food service.

Great hospital but DO NOT USE THEIR CAR VALET SERVICE under any circumstances. Stunningly badly run 3 days in a row took 40, 50 and 45 mins respectively to get the car back. And it wasn't because of a peak hour rush. Supervisor did not care at all, valets were strolling around and in the garage a group of them were all just standing around while sick people stood waiting on the sidewalk for their cars.

Great epilepsy center. The doctors and nurses are very helpful and will always listen to your questions and are very fast at following up if you call with a concern or question for them. I had open brain surgery for my epilepsy and even though that's a scary thing, I felt very comfortable and safe with the surgeons and doctors taking care of me. My husband is having surgery (new pacemaker). My son, grand dtr and I went down to the cafeteria and we got lost twice! Both times, two different employees saw us faultering and stopped to help us, walked us to our location. (To the cafeteria and then back to a waiting area). I have not had a bad experience here. The doctors listen. They actually care about your well-being. They take their time with you. You don't feel rushed in their offices. They are better than great! I moved up to this area recently and kept my doctor back in Canton just because of getting this same kind of care. I'm considering (just so everything is in one place) switching to a doc up here in this network.

If your not familiar with this area, get yourself a good map of the hospital layout and plan it out ahead of time. Driving downtown and trying to find which building and parking we needed to go to was an absolute nightmare. Other than that though, this hospital is absolutely incredible. This was our second time down here for my daughter. The picu and Ronald McDonald house is phenomenal. The doctors,nurses and staff truly change lives. The other pediatric centers of this hospital are equally amazing. I will always come to cleveland clinic because of the quality care weve recieved. The layout and interior is beautiful. Creates a very tranquil,streamlined environment.

My suggestion is that anyone who visits for a test or appointment should have the option to have their parking voucher validated before they leave to get it for free.

Recently ranked number 1 hospital in Ohio and 2nd rank in the US Health news rankings overall. They are also committed to healthcare access and working on decreasing the number of days to get a clinic appointment. I would say it is very quick to see a specialist here than in any place else.

I have been going to Cleveland Clinic Mellen Center for three yrs, and I could never ask for better care. My neurologist and NP knows everything about my rare disease. Was at Cleveland Clinic main campus three yrs ago for a week, and just this past week for eight days, and the care was so great. The Dr's and nurses all know what they are doing. First hospital I've been to who has aides on every shift and take care of you also. I would only recommend this hospital, and I live an hr and 15 mins away. Would give five stars but like anywhere the food is bad and so are the beds. One of the nurses was joking saying H stands for hospital not the Hilton. So I agree.

Like its own small city, main campus is comprised of several buildings. The "main" of these is Sydell Pavilion on Euclid Avenue. You will at first feel overwhelmed by the size and could get easily lost, but many "red coat" volunteer staff point you in the right direction. Several good food options all around main campus and a few boutiques as well. Parking is adjacent garages. Pro Tip: You can park free on a surface lot at W.O. Walker Building (part of Cleveland Clinic) located just down from the main clinic.... It's an easy 8 min walk or they'll take you via shuttle bus to any clinic building.

(*every soda is diet or "zero"*) elevators could be cleaner but fast (Recovery level 8th floor ) (1st floor to 8th floor estimated 8 sec.) Own police facility, building a fire dept. Nice hospital. 12 city blocks of Cleveland Recommended if you live in corning NY, Guthrie Corning Hospital Emergency DEPT.

Good doctor's. It is difficult to coordinate more than one appointment in a day causing overnight stays. Comparing Cleveland Clinic to Mayo Clinic, getting multiple appointments close together is easier at Mayo's. Conclusion, if you are out-of-state, and want world class doctor's, go to Mayo's. Accounting: Watch their accounting office like a hawk. Yesterday I got a collection notice from a collection company for a bill I had never received. After a painful discussion with the collection company, I got the phone number at Cleveland Clinic. Within seconds, Cleveland clinic said "Oh, you have a credit balance." This was the this is the third time I have been sent a collection notice in the last six years and all three were bogus.
